Come to class and do the work, and it's an easy A. I went 15 minutes late, left 30 minutes early, and got an A on every assignment and test. He's a cool guy. Don't test him, though. I believe he takes teaching to the heart. Highly recommended.

What the hell is wrong with some people? Tommy is a great guy and awesome professor. His classes are beyond easy. Open book quizzes that can be turn in at anytime! He's carefree and you leave when you want. I loved him. I actually learned some new things in his class. TAKE HIM! He's the best compt. teacher!

EASY A!! (If you already know these programs). If you dont, pick another teacher...he only lectures 30 min. per class. He's got a great personality, very laid back and funny and is a great teacher if you're an independent student. I took 6 week class & finished in 4 weeks. But bring snack before class, always late!! That's my only complaint. =)

ive taken him for numerous classes..although prior to entering each of the classes i knew the subjects rather well.. i cant say that i learned to much from him.. but it was easily an "A" in the class without to much work.. sit down for a day or two and you can finish the all the work for the semester.. reccomend him if you know the subject..

Very easy class. I have taken him for two classes. They were both extremely easy. You can finish the whole class in one weekend if you want. That's what I did.

Very easy class. He lays out all the assignments for the entire semester on the syllabus. If you are good at computers, like I am, you could finish the entire class in one weekend, like I did.

This class is very simple, he gives you the sylubus in the beginning of class with all the assighnments that need to be done and if you have a weekend or two off, you can just do the work straight from the book and finish the class earl =) It's a very very very easy A! I recommend Tommy Martin to anyone!!!

Very laidback, nice guy. VERY strict on when work is due and will NOT work with you. Have to be self-motivated in class, he will not baby you. If you are motivated, you can finish the class within two weeks. He gives you a syllabus to follow, and as long as you have the textbook the work is easy. Class consists of chapter tests,mid-term,and final.

He was a great teacher and always willing to help. He won't do your work for you so don't ask stupid questions. I would love to take him for more computer classes. You go through your book and do the sample tests and you will make an A.

Even though I failed (on my own lazieness). This teacher knows his stuff. Doesn't except late work. It is important you are there for every class or else you will get marked down or fail due to not knowing what/how to do the assignment. I look foward to re-taking his class and earning the credits i should have the first time around!

Took him for Microcomputer applications and it was great. Had a lot of fun and was really able to learn about the Microsoft application. Let you come to class early to finish work. Is very helpful so there is no way you wont pass. Just do the assignments.

Easy going.

Best teacher at this school! It's a 'learn on your own' class, so get in and work hard and fast. You can finish early and leave or stay over into other class if he's teaching and it isn't over crowded. If you have a question Prof Martin is always there to help but won't pester you by hanging over your shoulder. Very fun and funny guy! Take him!

Professor Martin is a great teacher. The work is time consming, but is very easy if you follow the directions. I loved his sense of humor. He is very helful, and knowledeable. I would take him again for another class.

Professor Martin is a great professor. I was very overwhelmed when i started and now I'm very confident with the computer. He is very helpful. This course is time consuming and you will spend a lot of time in the computer lab. It is a learn on your own class. He is very clear on what he expects from you and when the assignments are due.

Yeah you do EVERYTHING out of the book and on the computer, but its expected. He's so laid back and helps you with anything even if its stupid. All the due dates are SUPER lenient and he gives you extra points on assignments for stupid mistakes. Oh and most the assignments are graded for completion not accuracy. TAKE HIM

SUPER EASY CLASS! I finished the class a month before finals with a final score of 102/100. It was so easy to get ahead. My advice to anyone who takes this class is to not buy the book. The SAM code you're required to buy comes with the e-book used for the class.

He is one of most easiest professor for CGS1100. The test is super easy. I got 100 on his class. He don't care what time you come to class or not. I recommend to take him if you wanted to get A!

Professor martin was by far the easiest professor I have ever had . You don't do much in class it is basically you doing your bookwork all semester . If you miss the day you turn your work in or are not done he lets you continue on working on it. He is very nice and much help when needed. I would definitely recommend taking him.

Just a typical computer class, nothing too hard just a few questions from the back of each chapter due every two weeks. Very laid back professor that talked a lot about his military experiences and current news about technology. Was an easy with the first 2 months being clear cut to the final weeks being much more laid back.

Professor Martin is wonderful. HIs expectations are clear cut and he presents them with a "you own your own" attitude. Hilarious and real. His class was easy and I learned what I needed to learn. I wish him an easy retirement. ^_^

Prof. Martin is a really great teacher. His lectures explain the material well, but he also gives ample opportunity for qustions before moving on. He cares enough about his students to include short 'life lessons' when appropriate. Do the work and you will get an A. I would take a class of his again.

Extremely easy class. If you have a basic understanding of instructions and computers you can easily pass this class with an A. Just be respectful and listen when he talks, thats all he will ask for. Do all the exam practices to pass with a 100%. I had a 100 at the end of the semester. That's how easy this class is.

Buy the textbook and literally go step by step for each assignment and you will pass. GUARANTEED. No thought is required for this class. You open the textbook to the assignment you're on and just complete it step by step. That is it. The only way you could ever fail this class is if you're too lazy to just open the textbook and follow along.

Honestly the class itself is an easy A. Professor Martin is the best he honestly wants everyone to do well . The textbook is required whether its the physical one or the one online . Just follow the instructions and you will do well in the class . I finished the class with an overal average of 97%.

I took this class online. Very straight forward. You need the correct mindtap access code and the Text book is online. You need to be careful completing the assignments. one mistake will affect your grade (the program grades it). Any time i needed help, Prof. Martin responded quickly. Some people missed assignments and he let them make it up.

Professor Martin is overall a GREAT Professor. He is understanding and really does care for everyone to understand how important this course is. He definitely knows what he is doing. Stay on track with the homework and you will do just fine. He gives more than enough time to complete the homework assignments.

Basically you go to his class, you do the work and just ask if you ever need help with something. A really great guy and an even easier class. Once you finish all of the assignments he lets you leave class early, I finished this two months before the end of the semester. Definitely recommend.

Good teacher

at the beginning of the semester, I was a bit rusty and falling behind so bad BUT Professor Martin spoke to me and told me to not be afraid that everything will be ok and I'll pass his class just have the confidence and faith to get it done. He worked with me on each assignment and gave me critical feedback. I appreciate his tough-love approach.

He helps on tough concepts and makes sure you have a lot of time to work on the work so if you have any questions, hes there. he is really nice. I took him online and it was pretty easy except the fact I had to borrow someones else's computer or go to the library because most of his assignments aren't mac compatible which made things difficult for me when I work fulltime. Gives you two weeks tho and multiple tries. Way too many discussions for each chapter up to three.

Listen to the professor an do all the work assigned. Everything is online, and very easy. Plenty of work, but the professor also helps out if you need anything by contacting him. Take him.

when you look up "caring professor" prof Martin will probably be at the top. i took his online class and was struggling BAD. he would answer my messages outside of "allowed" hours. He went above and WAY beyond to help me understand the material. overall i had a great experience with his online class and learned a ton about office 365.

This Professor is very nice and if you work with him he will help you out with boosting your grade. He emails very quickly and is very helpful if you don't understand something.

Overall great teacher who cares about students. There was a lot of little assignments that were time consuming but it is expected. Uses Remind and answers within the hour. VERY EASY GRADER. Just do the assignment and you will get full credit. Very clear on what is due and when it is due and lenient on dates. Great professor!

Mr. Martin is a great and very kind professor! I took his online class . Although there was a quite bit of work, it was fairly easy. Most of his work was on Mindtap (Needs to be purchased) which consisted of 4 assignments + discussion due weekly (easy). He gives you a chance to submit late too. He was very helpful with grading. I highly recommend!

I took this class online with weekly Blackboard Collaborate meetings. The course content is laid out very clearly with when each assignment is due and the instructor can be forgiving on late work on Blackboard. This class is easy as long as you pay attention and do the practice assignments in Cengage. Professor Martin is a great help.

Nice teacher who is flexible and willing to work with you when necessary. The class materials are expensive and some are a bit difficult to access. The class itself is a lot but the professor is great.

Mostly self taught as expected. All work can be completed anytime. MindTap is meh. Discussions are useless. Very simple with any experience in Excel. SAM can be frustrating and too specific. Many chances for all assignments. Pretty straightforward class and easy A. Prof was super nice and just wants you to do do well. Easy and relevant class.

Tommy Martin's class was primarily composed of the online textbook SimNET assignments, which can be horrible if you're not able to learn through practice. But, the course material was Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and Access, so it was easy to grasp. Very lenient on grading.

He was a good professor and seemed to care through the videos he made for the class. The class was self-taught, with little to no one-on-one interaction with the professor. He did communicate that he was a very busy person, but he promised to respond when he had the time and never did. The class was easy and mostly SimNet assignments.

The course was very easy, however it was difficult to get in touch with the professor for any questions on assignments (impossible for some). We were self-directed for the duration of the course.

His class was very easy, although it's all online. This is self pace class where you teach yourself the professor is just there to guide you on what to do or if you have questions. He is kind but he expects everyone to be kind as well. He is big on communication be sure to answer his questions if he asks if you need help or where your progress is

This was a 100% self taught course! It was very easy to follow but it did require a lot of time. Although he gives you two weeks to do some modules, the work can be done in 3 days or less. He had remind if you needed to contact him, but he did mention he was a busy person. I had no issue with him.

This was a self-paced course with minimal professor interaction. The work was manageable, but communication with the professor could be challenging. unstuckstudy was a lifesaver for test prep!

Great professor, very lenient and understanding. The workload is kind of heavy especially if you let it pile up, however it is not hard and is actually interesting. Materials are provided to help you throughout the modules. no finals! more of a self-teaching course, and don't forget about discussion posts

This guy is a BEAST, best Microcomputer Applications professor out there. He's very understanding on deadlines and will give extensions. Literally just do the work and you'll pass. I only got a C because I didn't do some of the work but that's my fault ofc. If I had done more work, I would've gotten an A. I absolutely recommend taking his class!
