Great course. I liked that Professor Philips was available to reach through several sources of correspondence. Class consisted of chapter quizzes, tests, case studies and discussions which required no additional responses which I enjoyed. Would take again.

Professor Philips lectured to give the class real world situations and encouraged class participation. During the 8-week class, he brought in 2 guest speakers who were interesting. The course content is pretty easy, just do your reading and you will do fine. He does not like students coming in to class late after it has already started (I agree!!)

Took his course for an 8-week session and it was a breeze. His syllabus was reduced due to holidays and finals week. Had to guest speakers come in to lecture. Homework was easy and straight out of the book and so were his tests and quizzes. He posts and opens all discussions, quizzes and exams from the beginning of the term.

The guest speakers and lectures really support the chapter readings and assignments. Professor Phillips really wants the student to be successful in his/her endeavors but you must do the work.

He had a great sense of humor, and provided professional & educational advice based on his career experience. Took Saturday hybrid class. Need textbook or you will not pass. Straightforward questions on quizzes and tests. We had 2 guest speakers from HP who were phenomenal. Professor responds quickly by email if you have any questions about the class. The readings and assignments covered help you prepare for each exam so dont miss a reading. At first I thought that my IT skills were intermediate, but the readings and assignments helped me realize how ignorant I was. I felt that I learned a lot through the weekly discussions and the research case studies. Since this was an online class your participation matters. Professor Phillips was straight forward about how the class going to be conducted. The subject matter was very interesting. If you follow his syllabus to the letter, then you should have a successful semester.

This past fall semester, I had Professor Philips, and he was AMAZING! Since he made all of the tasks available at the beginning of the semester, I was able to complete them all before the deadlines. As a full-time student, employee, and parent, this was a huge benefit for me. Also, he was available to respond to inquiries about assignments.

I enjoyed this Professor's teaching style as it was direct and to the point. There was no guess work in what was due and the expectation. Very easy class. The Professor took a bit of time to grade for case studies which is understandable because it's a lot. For the case study, it requires 1,000-1,400 words. Not really a hard grader.
