She is a very cool teacher, she is funny, keeps your attention, interesting, multiple choice test, but got to apply concept.

Very easy class if you take good notes, study them and read the information surrounding those topics. Toni is my favorite instructor so far! She makes the class very interesting with stories from her own experience. A very fun class!

Great teacher, easy tests, freaky/weird guest speakers and lots of girls. What more could you want out of a class? it's meant to be a discusion class so don't stress. The answers for her tests are on her website so theres no need to buy the book. There is also LOTS of extra credit if you fall behind. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

She's a very lively and upbeat person and really knows how to keep the class fun. Uses interesting stories from her other life (attorney) as examples. She's a very caring person but not mushy and it's worth it to try to get to know her. She's a real people person and has a LOT of insight which she might demonstrate for the class if time permits.

She's not EASY in an 'i want to slack off so i'll take this course' - sort of way. she is easy to understand and will devote so much of her time to you and your class if you put forth the effort to come to class and listen. anyone who does this will get an A in her classes. Toni Rocks!

She's pretty good. But she lets the class get off course and lets the students babble on too much w/ personal opinions which keeps her from teaching the contents of the course. i am really interested in the course and i feel like i show up just to hear my peers talk 85% of the time and then she makes a few statements and then its all jokes.

Great teacher, the class was packed with antecdotes from other job as a jury consultant..good job if you're wanting to teach about damaged people. Plus, she's a laugh riot. Wonderful class. All her stories made the class rather interesting. Her exams are easy and she reviews the material before each exam. Would recommend anyone taking psych to take it with her.You won't regret it.

Toni offers plenty of extra credit and has a lecture outline for the entire semester. I barely used my own paper to take notes! She's got fun stories that help make sense of what she is teaching...also makes it stick. Very animated, which helps A LOT in a 3 hour evening class. Made me want to come to class..even on a Monday.

This is probably one of the most talented people you'll ever meet. She juggles very demanding jobs and still makes every class she teaches engaging and enjoyable. My friend and I took her 101 class and her Women's Psych class and both were incredible experiences. She's an unfathomably beautiful person and would be a true altruist were it possible.

I've completed well over 60 units and this is by far the best class I've taken. I have taken this class with a couple of other professors and I dropped every time. This class was fun and informative. She speaks at a perfect pace (not too slow or too fast). She always takes the time to answer to your questions.I hope I can take all of my Psych's with her

Toni is incredible! MUST TAKE. There are 3 tests and one final(accumulative). Extra Credit offered. Easy- attend class and take notes-don't need the book she tests EXACTLY whats on her review sheets. She's extremely helpful with the tests. Amazing all around person- applies personal experiences to lecture so its easy to remember. Fascinating!

She tells a lot of stories about her work that will help you remember the lesson (yes, they have a purpose). She does a great job in getting the class involved in the lesson- which, again, will help you remember things. Some of her stories are a little out there, but stick with her, you'll really learn something.

This class consists of 4 tests ( one to drop lowest grade) extra credit (print articles up from online, and a project (volunteer, paper, or speech) the rest of the time consists of sitting in circle group discussing lecture points, attendence not mandatory.You should be ashamed if you don't get an A. Toni as a teacher is nice but no pushover.

Great teacher. Professional and straight to point. Lectures are too the T, but sometimes I can't understand her...jumps from one point to another and starts difining Too fast! We're beginner! Soon we'll keep up and get use to the way she lectures. She's way too HO to drop the class.

Lectures are straight forward to a T. If you go to class, you will get an A on the test. If you dont go to class and you do the study guide, you can easily pull of a B. You usually get out of class early. Fun real stories.

I looked forward to going to Toni's class every week. She's an excellent teacher who teaches to the level of the whole class and relates just about everything to personal experiance.

Toni was very helpful and really want her student to be successful. When I attended her class,I really enjoy it although I was having difficulty because of language barrier, but she make it so interesting for her students and help her students that you will study hard and be successful. I'm a guy and I took her psych of women night class. Not what I expected at all. Great class. You can skip some lectures but you won't want to, Toni is awesome! No book req, just print the study guide. 3 tests, 1 paper or volunteer work or presentation and a final (optional if you have a good grade). Final note: Do all the extra credit.

Toni's class is fun and interesting. She knows how teach this cousre well using and relating the lecture to real stories as examples. If you attend the class and pay attention to her examples, you will get A. She speaks fast and if Eng. is your 2nd language, she doesn't mind using recorder. If you are planning on signing up for Psyc than you HAVE to take Toni. She gives you so many opportunities for extra credit, (Do them all!!) she also does speed reviews right before she hands out the test. Take her You won't be disappointed!!

BEST proff in the WORLD! very clear and helpful. hilarious teacher with great examples. makes you look foward to the class. always tries to let the class out early but dont want to leave! no homework. tests are prettty easy if you study, but she covers all the material extremely well. MUST TAKE!

I loved this teacher! She's always so hyper and outgoing and makes it fun and worth while to go to class. I never used the textbook because her note outline and lectures go over everything that's on the tests. So long as you study and do well on the tests, you'll pass this class. Also, do the extra credit! It's worth it in the end!

WOW I dont know how this lady does NOT have nightmares from her other job. She has the most craziest/funnist/ most unbeliveable stories ever! Make class so interesting. So funny! Ive been at mesa 5 years and this was the first class that i actually enjoyed the subject because the teacher was so great!!

She only takes attendance the first 2 weeks, after that attendance is optional, but this class has one of the highest attendence rates of all my classes, which says a lot in itself. Toni Blake is very interesting, hilarious, animated, and has a good heart. She tells great stories. A favorite proffesor of mine, and many others, I'm sure!

She writes her own text book and to be honest I'm not sure all of the information is 100% correct in it. There are typos, but it's free. Her class is easy and she goes over the tests before handing them out. She stays after class to help students with whatever they need, even personal matters. She gives great advice and has a lot of life experience

She's really easy. Writes her own textbook- still a rough draft. She's disorganized, but loves her students and what she does. I wish I could take more of her classes, but I think she only does night classes. You have to do a presentation or community service, but that's the hardest part. Such a fun class. I was always happy to attend.

I've taken her for 2 classes so you know she must be good! Her lectures keep you interested and entertained. She has great examples for any of the subjects we may be talking about. Definitely don't need the book unless you like to read in your spare time to better understand the subject.

Toni is a wonder Psychology professor. Her lectures are very interesting and she often relates them to her professional life experiences. Book is nice to have but not necessary since she emails out a test study guide and section outline during the first week of class. Taking notes during her lectures is sufficient to pass this course.

And taking notes really does help on the tests, which are incredibly easy if you just pay attention which isnt hard to do at all since the topics are so interesting. Lectures applied to life. I did well in the class and tests and much of the information I retained from lecture and a review of bold topics in the book. Grading and the order topics are clearly laid out on day one and there is extra credit. If you don't pass that is on you.

By far one of my easier classes I really enjoyed it, the lectures were entertaining and engaging rather than sitting and learning. She relates things to real life and makes the 3 hour lecture go by fast. She respects what the students have to say and tests are easy if you read the online textbook which is very short and there were no papers.

I graduated from UCSD and is just taking this class to fulfill a prepreq for grad school but none of the professors that I had there compare to her. She is so dedicated and truly does care about her students. She is hilarious, engaging, and you will never want to miss class. I not only learned about psychology but gained life lessons as well.

During my sentencing in psych 101... JUST KIDDING. Professor Blake brings her professional experience as a jury selection consultant to the class to give students a unique learning prospective. Everything needed to obtain mastery (An A) in her class is clearly stated and laid out in the study guides provided--no need to even read the book.

Came in with a group of friends.. to be honest we werent always there. She made us feel welcomed, her lectures were always amazing and I was always interested. Shes super funny and she curves the grades. Put in some effort and you will do fine.

This professor is amazing, she is someone who inspires you and even when class was over you wanted her to keep on going. This class was great for both men and women but be advised some topics can be difficult. You have plenty of chances to earn extra credit and you will learn a lot about yourself. She also, teaches an Intro to Psychology class.

My favorite professor so far Toni lets you know what is expected of you. She keeps you engaged in the class by telling you stories and giving scenario in order to better understand the topic. Don't want to miss class (great lecture) Plenty of chances to get extra credit.

Psychology of Women. I was one of three males in a class of over 40. At the time I took this class (Spring 2016), I was 65 and several years older than everyone else, including the Instructor. I was in a unique position that some of the women were asking me questions about my view of females and marriage. Loved this class for obvious reasons.

Professor Blake is an amazing professor who cares for her students, informs them of the curriculum, and makes a class that can be heavy and difficult accessible. As one of two guys in a class called psychology of women, you'd think there would be some animosity, but Toni makes sure there is no ostracizing.

Toni is AN amazing teacher! I took her for 101 and I just needed to take every class she offered. No home work. No mandatory attendance. She drops one exam. 3 exams and a final. BONUS? If youre happy with your score with the first 3 exams, you are. It required to take the final! Super fun. Super easy.

Attendance is not mandatory but you do now want to miss her class as it is never a dull moment with Professor Blake. She delivers her lectures with humor BUT BE SURE TO TAKE GOOD NOTES for exams. Class discussions are interesting; there is 1 group project, and offers extra credit assignments. She is kind, considerate and flexible. 5 stars for sure.

I took this class as a GE and let me just say, it was a great class. Not only did she offer many extra credits that really help your grade, but is very clear about the assignments. The tests are open note and her grading is very beneficial.

Professor Blake is a great professor. She gives you all the resources you need to do great in the class, she is also super understanding and really funny. You have 3 group projects on power point and one individual. Grades on info not presentation skills. pretty lax, gives many extra credit opportunities and lets you drop one exam.

Great teacher! Funny, understanding, and keeps you entertained. Grades on 3 group projects and 1 individual, and then 4 exams. She is pretty lax and grades very fair. Group projects are graded individually which i find great. Gives you everything you need to succeed. Also lets you drop 1 exam and gives extra credit opportunities.

She is super cool about grading if you participate in the group projects. The lectures are easy to digest, especially if you struggle to understand a lot of things all at once. She talks like a normal human being and treats others with respect and kindness. I would most definitely take another class with her as a professor.

Professor Toni Blake was the best professor I have ever had. She cares about her students and gives many opportunities for extra credit. It's really easy to pass this class because she has study guides in the modules. As long as you use the study guides, do extra credit, and take notes you will get an A.

Professor Blake is awesome! Her lectures and life stories are amazing and surreal! I am sure she's lived like 1,000 lives :D. Be in class and you usually get extra credit or answers to quizes. Easy read and not too many projects. Make sure you take notes from her outlines and you don't need to read textbook.

Professor Toni's class is a must-take! Her engaging lectures and personal stories make the material captivating. Though tests require preparation, using resources like Unstuckstudy and the textbook can make this a rewarding and easy A.

SOOO much extra credit!! I got a 103% in this class and it was so fun and easy. She had amazing stories and I felt like I could ask so many questions and she would love answering them. I wish I could take this course in person because I know it would have been nice to be in a classroom setting, but regardless would 100% take again.

I took her for 101 and for Psych of Women. She sometimes allows students to tell their own stories a bit too long. She has a great lecture style that keeps you engaged and encourages students to seek real-life experiences in the psychology field, inviting some students to participate in a focus group.
