Of all the times I've tried to get through Intermediate Algebra, her class was just screaming for an easy A. She explains the material well and would never put anything on a test that she personally hasn't gone over with the class. Highly recommended!

Overall the class is easy if you do your work and try. She will try to explain any questions you have with homework, quizzes and tests. My only complaint is that she teaches straight out of the book and does not use her own examples often.

I had a fat waste of space before Toni... now I know what a good math teacher is. She's thorough, explains the homework everyday so that you KNOW what you're doing wrong. Awesome, awesome, awesome teacher. If you want to understand AND get a good grade, I recommend!

Parsons is a genuine person and great professor. She's very patient and explains every nook & cranny of a math concept until you understand. She has a wild side but is professional when it comes to teaching. It seems like she can relate to her students. If you get As on all her 5 tests you're exempt from the final!

Professor Parsons is a great teacher, and a great person. She is easily one of the better math teachers I've had. However, be prepared for battle, as her tests are brutally difficult. But, if you HAVE to get that Math GE out of the way, take her. And get to know her a little, you'll be glad you did!

She is a very good teacher and keeps the class as light and fun as a math class can be without falling behind, although it is easy to get her off subject. She gives take home quizs that cover the very difficult material, leavin the eaiser stuff for the in class tests. Plus if you get tired of looking at all of math she is very easy on the eyes.

I have Toni this semester and up till now have absolitely despised mathematics. I am happy to report that I am a new fan thanks to her!! She rocks and makes math fun wel if that is possible as fun as Math can be anyways!! Highly recommend Toni Parsons she rocks

She really is a great teacher. must do all the homework but she has a great layout in the order to do your homework. When it comes to the test if you have done you homework to study do the chapter test at the end. shes explains math very well. She really works with the whole class. she answers all questions about the material.

Toni is exceptional! She displays a rare talent in keeping the entire class interested. Explains really well & makes Math fun. It's hard to find the right adjective to describe how she does it--you just have to see her in action. Before the end of the term, you'll find yourself falling in love with Math; that is, if you don't fall for her first.

Toni is a great teacher. I took 210A at Mesa College and got an A easily. I didn't use the book after the first week of school, I found it useless because she explains things really well in class.

Toni was a very fun teacher to have for the Summer. She is enthusiastic about the teaching, and makes the class environment fun. She is clear about what will be on the tests. Material in course is not terribly difficult, but there are a lot of new concepts. Stay on top of them and you?ll do fine.

Toni Rocks. I graded the class Hard, but that is because it's math... Not Toni. She expects you to be neat. I believe being organized is what helped me get an A in the class. I have dropped math 96 4 (yes...4) times. Now I can help my fiancee with this class. Take her. There is homework to do, but what do you expect? Its math.. Best math teacher :)

Math has always been a struggle for me, thats why I started in Math 035! but I had Toni till 96, and I got an A, B and B. she is super helpful, she makes the class fun and she knows people dont generally like math, so she is patient with her students. I love her!If you can get in her class, do it and stick wiht her!!!

I had a rough time with math, never really interested, until I had tony this year (my first year at Mesa College) Toni is a great professor, very energetic and takes the time to make the class interesting. Not only is the class interesting but she is amazing at math and could make anyone understand it. If you have the chance, get her!

Take this teacher if you can. She's nice, and happy all the time. The class was easy. There is a lot of homework, though, but she doesn't really care if you turn it in late. Attendance isn't really a big deal either. You'll get a pop quiz on either the first or second day of class, so study basic elementary math (fractions decimals etc) beforehand.

great teacher, she sets up the class so that it's mostly hands-on instead of lecturing the whole time, but even when she lectures she does a good job of keeping everyone's attention. if you can pass any math class you can pass this one.

Toni is by far one of the BEST professors I've had. I took Math212 and Math210A with her and did great thanks to her help. She does an awesome job of helping students who are struggling. She'll break things down until you understand. She's always happy and upbeat! HW is lengthy, but easy and class is very hands on. Great overall!

She was a very easy teacher for linear algebra, but I'd advise against taking her if you want to learn the material. She tries to be social with her students, but in the process only ends up wasting time in class. We were 2 weeks behind in the material, but she still somehow thought it was necessary to have 20 minute chats about football. Really?

Best instructor at Mesa. She is a solid professional. Caring, fair, and helpful. We are very fortunate to have her teaching here. She is the absolute best. She balances requiring her students to do the work, while empowering them. Take her class, she will always be there to help. Who knows you may even end up liking math.....

Love Love Love Mrs. Parsons she is the best teacher that i have taken so far. i most definatly recomend her(i took her for two semesters). she will guide you through out the semester to make sure that you absolutly do not fail she might be intimidating at first but as long as you keep on track and do your work, the class will be a piece of cake.

Parsons is an amazing professor. I was not interested in math prior to taking math 46 with her. She made math interesting and easy. She's not necessarily a super easy A, but if you come to class every day, do the homework, and pay attention, there's no reason you can't get an A. I took math 46 and 96 with her and got an A in both classes.

Toni is hands down the best and most helpful math teacher I have taken at Mesa so far. I ended up taking 3 lower level math courses with her. I HATE math, but she explains it so well that you have to try hard to fail. The only problem I had with her teaching style was having to worry about test's, the folder, and quiz's due at the same time.

The best. She didn't require a text book. She made math much for fun and easier for me.

Don't listen to the person below. If you fail her class you really didn't try hard enough. She teaches well and tells you pretty much what is going to be on the tests. The quizzes are hard so the tests don't have to be. No math?! you cray....

The Best! Take her when you can. Tbh, the quizzes are very challenging but on the bright side, the exams are simple. Just work on the practice problems then guarantee you a C or your desired grade. Overall, a great professor and great to talk her about sports and her interests.

I am essentially challenged when it comes to math. I just don't get it. She is incredibly helpful, and most of the homework is done on math lab. Attendance just boosts your participation score, but isn't really a must if you get it. Tests were way easier than the my math lab home work. She was always enthusiastic and kept everyone interested!

She was a great prof to take over the summer. Very passionate and energetic. I highly recommend her. The 14 take home quizzes were the most challenging part of this class. The quiz questions were almost always straight out of the textbook. The 3 tests and final are straightforward. You get practice tests to prepare you well for all of them.

Incredible teacher, made me desire to become a math teacher, even though I spent years hating math. Suddenly it was making sense. She loves math and it shows. Quote "thou shalt not divide by zero", overly simplified, but made a world of difference to someone who spent years not comprehending math. Took her 4 semesters, miss her, best teacher ever.

Toni is a great professor. She takes her time to make sure students understand the material. I have taken her in math 38-46 and she has made it a great experience . I have always hated math and been horrible in it and she has changed that for me. You will have to do your math homework online and some tests which the tests are made up from the h.w.

Took her last semester, one of the best math professor I've ever taken. Don't let her beauty distract you but she is always ready to lecture and answer questions. Take home quizzes are tough so meet at least 3 people in class. Practice her practice exams and you'll do great in this course.

Hands down the best math teacher i had! I am taking her class, math 96 during the summer right now and its the best. I had previous professors who would be so boring I would fall asleep but not with her. She is so funny, entergetic and passionate about math. She is there for you, and makes sure students get it.

Wow!! Great professor hands down. Miss Parsons makes math fun ( I can't believe I'm saying that) but it's true. She takes time to help anyone, her lectures are amazing and I look forward to being in her class. Her test are challeging, but straight forward and if u studied enough you will not have any problems.

Loved having this professor! Lectures were very easy to follow along. Grading criteria is clear. Before exams, she always reviews and leaves you feeling confident about knowing what to expect. She's also hilarious! She mentions that you won't need the textbook but I felt that it was very useful.

BEST professor! She is very clear, helpful and relates math to real life situations. I hate math and because she is pretty entertaining, it's easy to show up every day. What a great math teacher. She explains everything clearly and if you don't understand still, she will help you personally. Homework is online, 2 tests online as well. Not a hard class if you do the work. She gives handouts that are completed as a class each day.

Professor Parsons hands down best math professor period. I took her class and was amazed at how quick time flew by everyday ( it was just so much fun!). I highly recommend her to anyone taking math. Also, she has a easy grading system, everything is clear and concise. A must take professor!!

I took an online MATH 15A refresher course with Toni and despite the countless emails I would send her she remained helpful and nice. I only met her once when I went to her office to take the final exam. I will definitely take more of her classes! She's so great! Mesa needs more math professors like her.

I took Professor Parsons for three condensed semesters (8 week courses) and absolutely adore her! She is truly an inspiration and makes lecture very enjoyable. The courses are rough being that they are condensed. Math has never been my strong suit. Took her for 38, 46 and just finished 96 with her this summer. Toni is by far my favorite at Mesa!

Her class was kinda interesting but in a sense that I took it in summer was tough! Her quizzes was home taken but trust me the tuition couldn't even help me! The exams were hard as well! the problem was that some questions want the answer in radians and some in degree ! She said every lesson I am teaching in Summer is a 2 week for Fall semester!

Professor Toni Parsons is AWESOME! She's very organized and has a clear grading process. Take home quizzes were difficult, but with youtube I was able to get them done. We the students got to pick what we wanted in the final (only 12 problems) had the option to cross 2 out. Do everything she tells you and you will pass. I highly recommend her!

Took her Trig class. Was really easy. She is not a tough grader. There is a lot of homework though. You use a program called ALEKS and have to fill up your pie, (only 80% of pie needs to be completed to get an A on homework) There's always a pretest and the tests are exactly like them just numbers changed. and you create your own final. Really easy

I took Prof Parsons for Math038 and Math046. She's funny, caring, and respected. Homework was on MML, so a computer is needed for access to assignments AND exams. Finals and midterms are in class on paper. She relates every lesson to everyday situations so she answers "when will I ever need this in life" questions. I would definitely take her again

Took her for discrete math. Very passionate and very available to help. Makes the class pretty easy. 14 take-home quizzes and...4 exams compose the grade? Avoid if you're a math major. Not hard enough to prepare you for upper division. Otherwise, take her.

She's nice but absent alot. We had lots of different subs and class cancelled a few times. I feel like I could have gotten an A if she had been there more.

Take her if you are good at self-learning. Her lecture is amazing. She is one of the leader of Math department so she usually canceled the class. However, she helped me understand the problem very clearly. I cannot believe that up till now I still remember the material. Tests are taken only and she gave you many times to try.

Professor Parsons made a very difficult subject for me, relatively easy to understand. I was never afraid to ask her questions because I knew she would do everything she could to help grasp the information. I am very grateful to have been able to take her for this class.
