I had a bad impression of her for the first few days, but she's hilarious, and not too formal. She goes on short but fairly frequent tangents, and she brought her son to class one day. She also explains the concepts verrrry clearly. She writes everything on the chalkboard instead of using powerpoints so you can follow along.

If you piss her off (by talking or texting in class) she'll call you out on it in front of everyone. Otherwise, she's nice and gives good explanations.

Great professor, cares about her students and their well-being. Focus in class and do the work on the practice problems. My strategy: answer the question. Turn to your neighbor and explain why its the answer. Then explain why all the wrong answers are incorrect. Then explain what the question would have to be in order for each answer to be right.

She gives tests that are mainly based on logic and your ability to understand and read the test more than the content of the class. In Macroeconomics she also assigns a lot of useless homework.
