Ms. Pahari is a GREAT teacher. She is very nice, talented and fair and she will help you if you ask. She CARES. Her class is VERY interesting. There is usually a multimedia lecture, in-class participation, some report writing, and you work in small groups. It's not a hard class, you'll do better if you show up. The literature is some of the best.

Great teacher! She really made me look at poetry in a completely different way. Show up and show some effort and you'll pass. You will need to do some group work and presentations.

This was the easiest class I have ever had. A few discussion questions, like 5 quizzes you can take over and over until you get a 100, 3 easy "projects", and the final. I didn't buy any books and never needed them.

This professor is ALL about being there for her students. The first couple of quizzes are just to assess the student's knowledge. With each week, each lecture you read, you will see improvement in your scores and knowledge. Pay attention to her due dates though since they are every couple of days, not once a week. I cannot say enough about her.

Professor Pahari was one of my best teachers so far. She goes above and beyond in working with you. If you need extensions on assignments (homework, tests, or papers) she will do so as long as you tell her at least 24 hours before the due date. This semester she opened up assignments for everyone to complete if they had not done so earlier.

The majority of class is group discussions. You really get to know your "group" and it is a really great environment. If I had anymore English classes to take I would 100% take her!

She is an amazing professorr! My English 1101 experience wasn't so good but in this class, I learned in such a different style and I enjoyed it. I would definitely take another one of her classes. Participation matters. Do the work and you'll pass. She will work with you if issues come up, but just let her know.

Ms. Pahari is an easy grader, and she'll probably give you a 100 as long as you follow the directions and turn the assignments in on time. The on-campus final was open-book and open-note, so it wasn't difficult at all. She was also quick to respond whenever I emailed her with questions. I highly recommend taking her class!

Loved this professor! Easy as long as you keep up week to week. Gives you a 100 if you genuinely try. She likes to relate to college aged students because she cares so much! She said she knows how it feels to be a college student. I would take again and again!

I took her ENG1102 online class during the summer semester and it was one of my easiest classes I had. She is an easy A teacher. Just do what she asks you to turn in and you will be good. If you are not great in English you do have to study for the tests, other than that this class is awesome!! Definitely, take her if you have a chance!

If you choose to ignore her long reading schedule, it's quite an easy class. There were only 2 more-difficult essay assignments, at the mid-term and final. She is great when you meet her in-person and through emails; super chill. Also, the in-class proctored exam is extremely easy. This is a great choice for an English 2000-level course.

She responds to emails quick, doesn't take off for late assignments. She loves literature, and it shows, but cool if you don't. You only read short stories and poems, do 2 essays and weekly discussions. No tests- just 2 exercises (open book). She will review papers and allow you to revise them. You can't fail her class unless you don't try.

Best professor Ive ever had and one of the easiest classes Ive ever taken. You only have one discussion per week and you have to respond to only 1-2 people. There is only ONE essay! And she gives you an extension for the essay if you need it. Very caring teacher that understands you have other classes, too. Ended up with a 98 in the class!

I took this class online and really loved it. It wasn't like any Literature class I've ever had. While we did focus on American Literature, we also talked A LOT about nature and how it is incorporated into American writing. Professor Pahari is a very sweet woman. She is straightforward with what is expected from you and also lenient if necessary. The midterm and final exam were pretty much the same but a study guide is given to you in advance. There is one group project but fairly easy and a novel. Attendance is mandatory otherwise participation grade will fall.

I recommend Ms. Pahari. She expects students to do their best and keep her informed if absent. In return, she works hard to make sure students are prepared and accommodates them . She grades fairly, and the workload is manageable. She is very, very, very passionate about poetry. Even if students hate poetry, she is very caring and understanding.

I took Ms Tonia's ENGL 1102 class in spring 2019 and she made it a great experience for me. I'm a type of student who doesn't like literature that much; I'm more of a math guy. Despite me not being a big fan of literature, Ms Tonia really made me enjoy it a lot. I'd highly recommend her as your english teacher!

Miss Pahari is honestly my favorite English teacher. There aren't many assignments and her syllabus is very clear. She sends emails and reminders all the time. She's really nice and passionate about literature. She isn't demanding or crazy. We also had to do a group project which was really fun and super easy. We only read poems and short stories.

Tonia Pahari is an AMAZING teacher! She is very clear on the homework assignments for each day, and everything is due at the end of the week. There were three major assessments and 2-3 papers. Each paper has clear instructions and structure requirements. There is a decent amount of writing because there is a blog every week, but they're super easy.

I have Ms. Pahari for ENGL 1102. There's a lot of reading , but manageable: Poetry, short stories, and a novel relate to the environment. The essays, discussion assignments, tests, and in-class work are manageable too. Just make sure you DON'T plagiarize. She responds very quickly and will definitely work with you.

Professor Pahari is the professor you want! There are three essays and three exams plus the final for the whole semester. Each week there is assigned reading which is manageable, and then you post a discussion with a minimum of 250 words. She is a great and fair grader and gives feedback that will save you from a bad grade in the future.

There is a bit of reading involved but it is English after all. Exams are all open-book online. She provides all her class notes too. Overall highly recommend Ms. Pahari.

If you can go out of your way to get her, trust me you will not regret it. if you miss an assignment, email her, you can make it up for full credit. 3 essays, 10 discussions, 6 assessments, 1 test. never understood what to do for lectures and constantly changes dates. however grade super nice, work isn't hard and u can turn in work late with no penalty. but u wont learn anything. i only suggest her if u want an essay A. but shes definitely a good person.

I loved her class the work wasn't too difficult and she has a grace period so don't worry about not being able to turn things in on time. She is super understanding and one of the best experiences I ever had with a professor. However, the class was an easy A but you don't learn much.

Professor Pahari is by far the BEST professor at Chatt Tech. She honestly cares about her students and understands that things don't always go according to plan. The assignments weren't overwhelming and she has an extension form. Fill it out and it gets automatically approved and your assignment won't be due until the last day of class. We do have a lot of group work, but it's super simple. Can leave class early if you finish early! Love her

This teacher is probably one of the best ones you could have for ENGL 2103, all you had to do in the class was submit a discussion each week thats graded somewhat heavily but as long as you meet all the requirements, you'll get easy A's on each one. 2 Essays that you're able to rewrite or revise, and 3 Exams that all have good study guides with.

She's extremely understanding and gives clear essay feedback as well as plenty of time to complete work.

Ms. P was a very nice person and her class was pretty easy if you show up every day. Attendance is mandatory, but is extra credit if you do show up every day. A lot of random quizzes and little assignments for every class, but it was all multiple choice and allowed multiple attempts. There were two essays that were easy, and one group project.

I took her class in the fall of 2023, and I truly enjoyed her class. The due dates and assignment criteria were very clear. There were 2 essays, weekly discussions, and quizzes. She is extremely lenient by giving us more than enough time to complete work and giving us full credit even if we turn it in late. I would 100% take her class again.

She was a great teacher, and I really don't like online courses so that says a lot. One thing is that sometimes she is not super tech savvy and it can result in confusion. But! At the beginning of the semester I expressed confusion with the syllabus and she was willing to meet with me in person to talk about it. She is very kind :)

This professor is so nice and amazing, I would recommend her to anyone needing to take an English course. She is very caring and gets straight to the point. There is one discussion and literary exercise due weekly but they are very simple and easy. If you do your work you will be guaranteed an A in her class.

I love Ms. P! She is so sweet and caring. She wants you to succeed no matter what. Assignments are due at a certain time but she gives a 2-3 day grace period with no deductions. Her lectures can get a bit redundant but I don't mind it. A lot of the graded assignments are done in class. 2 group projects and 3 essays are expected. Not hard at all.

I loved Tonia! Her course had clear guidelines and was easy to follow. There was a discussion board and a literature exercise quiz every week but they were easy to complete. There were 2 essays that had clear rubrics and were easy. There's a 40-question final exam (compilation of lit exercises). If you keep up with your work, you will get an A!

Mrs. Tonia is amazing! She is vary accommodating and understanding toward each student and wants you to succeed! Vary easy grader! Would definitely recommend and would love to take her again for another class!

Professor Pahari is the most flexible English teacher I've ever had. She definitely incorporates a lot of creativity in her assignments. There are a couple of short stories or poems to read each week, a discussion board (250 words), along with a short literature exercise that covers the material in the slides. Only two papers 3-4 pages in length.

Easiest class of my entire life. Seriously. Do you struggle with deadlines? Take this class. Theres 3 essays about 2 to 3 pages in length in MLA format. A bit of group work but its literally so brief its more like small talk and a small activity. Sometimes attendance does count, but you can easily make it up by asking her.

I had Professor Pahari several semesters ago. She is one of the best English teachers I've had. She makes the material interesting and actually cares about students. She is very accommodating and gives thoughtful feedback. Small group discussions, practice exercises, and writing activities are creative, relaxing, and manageable. Highly recommend!

Professor Pahari is amazing! I took all of her English classes (ENGL 1101, 1102, and 2310), and she is the absolute best. She is very understanding and caring towards her students. There are about 3 papers for each class, about 2 to 3 pages in length. I love how she lets students express their creativity through their writing! 10/10 recommend!

Professor Pahari is an amazing teacher! Her class is simple, straightforward, and very manageable. HW is mainly discussion post based, but easy. She provides all the resources you need. She genuinely wants her students to succeed and even offers chances to revise your work without penalty. I would highly recommend taking her class!

I loved this class, I took it in summer as a dual enrollment student. The class is sort of fast paced since it's a summer class but overall easy, I had 3 essays the whole course and a lot of the quizzes prepped mr for the final which I appreciate. The material was straight forward and the professor was even better, an amazing person & understanding

Very easy class, we have discussion every week and some quizzes, you will write two essays throughout the semester as well. You are required to read a book and then have some assignments over the book, so I recommend to read the book ahead so you won't be behind, overall very easy class and nice instructor. I recommend her class!

This professor is amazing if you're wanting to take an easy class on the side and not have to worry so much about it. You'll have one discussion board, one quiz each week, and just 2 essays for the whole class. If you're taking American lit the final is with webcam but each question was almost identical to the study guide, she provides.

I had this teacher for ENGL 2130 American literature two semesters ago. Had her for ENGL 1102, too. A very standard class with discussions once a week, 2 papers, and final. English is not for me, but I really enjoyed the class!

I admire the teacher's passion for nature but it is just not my thing however she's very flexible and understanding!. Work is doable. Mainly three essays, exercises, and a final exam. As an older student, her class setup works for me!

Flexible, and replies to emails lightning fast. 2 essays, exercises, and final. Use her guidelines for exercises and writing assignments. For American lit final, review class notes. Study guides.(don't use them) are generic unlike final. Just look over class notes and keep up with work is how I got an A! Great teacher!

She's patient and humble when you ask to fix errors or technical issues or need an extension. Class has typical weekly discussions, essays, and final but she makes them engaging and creative. Study guides don't really match the final, but class notes and exercises set you up to succeed. Recommend because she genuinely cares about students
