Wonderful instructor! Very funny and pretty easy.

When presenting speechs, STICK TO TIME FRAME. you'll fail if you're 1 sec. short or over. SOme tedious work, but overall an easy A, as long as you put some kind of effort. Attendance does count. Speeches aren't hard, but strict and upfront about guidlines and requirements. as long as you follow instructions, you're ok. Very helpful and interesting.

She is an Awesome Professor! I passed her class with an A+, and I was exempt from her final. She makes the class fun, and easy, but you learn alot. I had fun preparing for my presentations. Take the class if you like to do work! She gives HW almost every class, but its not hard! If you enjoy speaking then this is your class! Have fun.

It's spelled Professor Goodine. She is very helpful, clear, and provides a teachable environment. Attendance is a must. It's an intro class, so you will learn intro stuff. nothing too indepth. Overall very good class and I have become a better speaker. Be there, do what your told and study. You will pass.

One of the best teachers I've had. She has a great personality and voice. She is very fun, entertaining and the class interacts with each other. Make sure your there. EASY A, she means it when she says DON'T MISS ANY DAYS FOR THE FIRST SEVERAL WEEKS tho!! if u miss the quizzes (that u do as a class! u get 100 if ur there) it will hurt ur grade. only 3 speeches, 2 alone, one group speech. Group make sure u get with ppl who kno what theyre doing or u'll get a low score. Everything is easy tho. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I learned a lot in this class. There is alot of work, but it is very helpful. I learned not to be shy in front of big audiences. Her syllabus is very specific and is very clear. Due dates are easy to follow. I definitely recommend her class. Its an easy A if you are willing to learn.

I just finished her class in 09 Fall Semester. Ms. Pope is super nice and funny. She does give homework and take home quizzes (which is so cool). Although you do about seven speech presentations during the semester. If I can do it, so can you.

Mrs. Pope is funny. I failed her class the first time I took it ( missed three days and did not present group speech). I passed with an A the second time. You will learn in her class. The work is not difficult, but she gives a lot of homework.

Very Easy as long as you participate in clas and complete the assignments you will get an A. Class was interesting and quite the learning experience. If you have an a average your exempt from the final even though the reviews for the midterm and final are the replicas of the exams, so even if you had to take it you should still pass.

Very helpful,replies on time, she is cool and interactive with the students. easy online quizes that dont seem like quizes and easy multiple choice final and midterm exams from the quizes so do the quizes. overall take her class, follow instructions you will definately pass.

Online class was pretty easy but we had to physically go in TWICE, which sucked because I live 120 miles away. Watch out because the week closes at 10pm, not 11:55 or :59 like most online classes. Get the ebook if you're taking it online - quizzes are straight from the text. Did not like the assignments, but they weren't hard. This is an easy A.

She's easy. Just read the chapters assigned which is a pocket guide book and you'll do good. Her topics are simple and interesting. Very responsive to emails and will help you if needed.

Easy easy assignments. She is soooo detailed on exactly what she wants from you. There is no way to do bad because there is no guessing. The assignments are opinion based. Quiz after every chpt, 1 midterm and 1 final. Write down every quest and answer from quiz because they are all on the midterm. Easy!! Quest. from final is from her notes. Easy A.

Now, I received a low grade in this class, not because of the professor but because of my idiotic busy life that got in the way, especially the unfortunate circumstances that pulled me away from school completely. She responds very quickly and never have to go in person. your speech is recorded online. test and quiz and assignments extremely easy everyone will make an A if do all work as described. I took her online class this semester fall 2014 HCC. She is very organized. you will have no problems passing this class. However, you will have work to do, but its easy work. I advise anyone to take her. You will defiantly get an easy A I haven't received my grade yet but i'm so sure it's an A all my grades was A's and a few B's

She is a good teacher and has the success of her students at heart, one informative speech for the entire semester and lots of home work but you'll make an A if you stick to the instructions given.

Prof. Pope list of assignments can appear overwhelming. I recommend keeping a tight schedule, and you won't fall behind. She requires one major speech, and the rest is reading to complete the assignments. She is even easy to get a hold of.

I took this instructor online. She gives a lot of work. One good thing about her is answering emails quickly. We had to turn in two speeches. Beware: she will take off points for minor things that have nothing to do with the speaking part of the speech. I made a B.

I took her online mini holiday course. The class expectations were extremely clear and pretty easy. She responded to all my emails within the same day and gave me good feedback on my assignments. She is very strict on grading but she does give you the rubrics ahead of time so really just pay attention.

There are 16 chapter quizzes (10 MC questions), 3 exams (50 MC), and one speech video project (3 adults must be in your audience). Quizzes and exams answers are word-for-word out of the book. I would buy the book, then finish all the quizzes/exams in 1-2 days so you can return it (or take pics). Speech is 40% of grade. She responds fast. Easy A!

THIS LADY WAS SOO GREAT! You need speech you just got to take her! My only thing was getting an audience to hear my speech that had to be done twice which was ok BUT I WOULD HAVE PREFERRED NOT! The online assignments are super easy and are open from the beginning for you to complete them all in one day if you want. There are 3 presentations, the last 2 require a 2 page paper with references. Overall wish I could take more of her courses.

Very easy, a lot of short discussions and quizzes without lockdown that you can retake, a couple of exams without lockdown. Only 1 research paper. Helps your GPA.

Although she put a lot of things to do, she give us too much time to do those. So, we can arrange time to finish them. There are 3 speech to present in class but not too much stressfull. Take her class right now, so chilling. No lockdown exam.

This was a great online class. Reading assignments, discussions and quizzes were usually due at the end of the month, so there's plenty of time to meet the due dates. A video-recorded speech was due at the end.

14 short quizzes 10 questions each (you can retake), 14 easy discussions (reply to 3), 1 paper (2 pages), a midterm and a final exam 50 questions each. No lockdown. Assignments are crazy EZ! I finished all the assignments the first week. Just had to wait for other students to do my 3 replies. I took my time on the essay and she's an easy grader.

I really enjoyed Dr. Pope's class. From the very first day, her personality put me at ease. She also got complimentary suits for our final speech presentation.
