HORRIBLE teacher. She is very RUDE and looks at you stupid for asking a question. She's not clear on her reviews at all. Things she says will not be on the test end up on the test. She should not be teaching.

Very hard professor, favors certain students, assignments are unclear of what she expects, grades hard, and tests are really hard. You take many notes, primarily just copying from a power point and then you leave after and hour of taking notes. Nearly impossible to get an A

If you want to pass this class without learning anything then definitely take it with her. She doesn't expect much from you. Beware that she'll give test review sheets with information that will never be on the test and missing everything that will be on the test. This was an online class and she never bothered to return any of my emails.

online class is terrible. unclear. unorganized and all. does not answer questions at all. just throws you out there, without a clue. never take her, worst teacher.

Awful! She emails on the weekends & if you reply to her regarding the emails she sends out, get ready to be yelled at. Very rude. Treats all of her students as if they came right out of high school. VERY UNCLEAR DIRECTIONS! Gets snappy when you ask questions on assignments or anything as if you weren't paying attention. Don't take her, seriously...

I took this class for a summer mini. The class was like any other class. The assignments are straight forward. I just wished the professor was more clear on how to do the assignments. She did reply to my emails, however she was not helpful at all. She is not clear when you ask for help and about the assignments. Again, not helpful at all.

The syllabus, course calendar, and My Grades page all stated different dates for project. If you dare to ask for clarification on an assignment you brushed off and if you then call her, you are then given attitude and talked down to. Essentially don't ask any questions and pray you guess the right due date. I dropped. Good luck, she's a peach.

her class made me felt like a joke, Do NOT take her if you want to learn anything. However, she did have a clear criteria on grades. Got an A but didn't learned anything.

I would not take her again she's rude, she skips through the power points and barely gives students the chance to write notes, and her grading is terrible and whole lot of bad other stuff etc. I barely passed her class and do not recommenced her to be a good professor to take just awful.

Very rude professor, she snaps easily when you ask simple questions. Your grade comes from test/quizzes. In class time is when we go over a PowerPoint of each chapter but she goes too fast and doesn't post the powerpoints online for us to catch up if needed. Read the book because the PowerPoint doesn't cover much on quizzes.

This teacher gave no help to her students and mentioned that our stress is not her stress. She gave very controversial discussion questions for a marriage and family class.

Prof. Conerly is unorganized, procrastinates and rude. Unorganized-She does not come to class on time. Procrastination- She wouldn't put in the grade until the end of the semester. Lastly rude-If you ask her a question she will give you an attitude. Don't expect your emails to be answered. Main point is the test are nothing like the review!

Do not bother taking this class with her as the professor. She is hypocritical, and treats her students as ignorant children. She will ask questions on test, with the answer contradicting what she would say in class. She ridicules her classes. She even said she is here to get paid and wont teach us the material if she didnt want to.

-She tell you an assignment is due 11:59 Saturday. Blackboard tells you 11:59 Friday so she still counts it late because the computer says so -Updates SYLLABUS mid semester to enforce this -knows nothing about sociology outside minimum teaching criteria -makes assignments due in middle of quarantine instead of on one universal date late semester.

Normally I do not care enough to rate professors, but this professor just was not it. Once wrote a paper for her class and got 75 points off just for not using 2 references (so yes I received a 25%). Not a hard class, but I just would not recommend her. I noticed some students also had a difficult time with her.

She is the worst teacher to have ever existed, she is hard-headed, and very rude and not well coming. She will get mad at you for mistakes she made and expects you to fix them. She is very unprepared. I can keep going on!!

This professor is very rude. She does not show empathy for any student even on computer errors. She is rude in communicating with students. This professor grades on punctuation and the proper use of full sentences, but yet her replies are run on sentences and grammar errors. This professor needs more training if she will be teaching Sociology class

Save yourself, dont take this professor. She is so rude and doesnt respond to your emails then takes points off your grade when you needed help but she never helped you! Shes also very rude and then acts so different when her boss is cced in emails.. very clear she doesnt care about students and this job is just a pay check to her

Comes off as rude, and does not care about students or how they do in class. Provides zero feedback for assignments, PowerPoints are lazy and videos are dated. Don't bother emailing because she won't respond anyways, she even makes it clear in her syllabus that she is not to be argued with or corrected etc. There is a typo is the textbook she wrote

fall 2022 I took the class online. not too difficult but the essay assignments were vague, if you had questions the professor she would reply "read instruction" or something rude. professor made it difficult by not helping. i missed 1 DB and it significantly brought my grade down. I would not recommend if you want to learn anything.

*BEWARE* When it comes to taking this class online she has little to no instruction on any of her assignments. the instructions for the assignments are unclear. seems ignorant in her feedback. and is absolutely ruthless over email. also, i should mention her power point slides are dated.

absolutely hate this class... she is extremely rude and disrespectful. She does not like emails and her lectures are very dated. As a sociology professor she does a terrible job of making students feel welcomed in her class and treating them with respect.

This class seemed useless when the professor doesn't grade your work on time. She'll send you an email asking you to email her back if you have missing grades as if were doing her a favor. She is rude and doesn't follow up with students. Open the ppts and textbook or else she'll mark you absent.

Extremely rude when answering questions and impossible to communicate with.

She has multiple grading issues; she does not respond to emails. Condescending 70% of the time, very hard to work with. Lectures are dated, most of the quiz work in on her digital book (which has typos). Would not take it again.

Most of the lectures don't have quiz material, she directs you to the online textbook many times (which has typos) Would not take it again, you're better off watching a Netflix documentary.

When it comes to this professor she does not take emails online, which is very inconvenient due to the syllabus being unclear. When you do email her she will respond in a rude manor and will create a class announcement or tell you not to email her then proceed to tell you to look at the syllabus which tell you nothing. Overall would never recommend

Professor Conerly is unclear with her instructions, which makes her assignments confusing. She can be passive-aggressive and is often disrespectful to students. She forgets to grade assignments and is rude about it when you bring it up. I would also like to mention that she isn't very good at doing lectures because she only reads off the board.

When you get this professor, make sure you prepare to work independently and figure things out yourself. She isn't clear enough in ANY of her instructions. She is the worst professor I have ever had, and she doesn't even follow her syllabus. And she makes up her own dates. She doesn't know how to work Blackboard and takes forever to grade work.

This professor changes up the syllabus regularly. If you ask her a question, she will tell you to check the syllabus, but it doesn't give answers to the question. She takes forever to grade, and once you submit something, it turns red automatically. Overall, not a bad class, but the professor isn't clear on her instructions in any assignment

Professor Conerly is really hard to talk with. She takes a long time to grade things and really does not how to give clear instructions for assignments.

She never grades on time, is very incompetent, disrespectful, and even searched on Google "how to teach students." She is always on her phone and never pays attention to her students. All she does during her lectures is read off the slides; she doesn't even understand what she is saying; if it weren't for the textbook, I would be failing!! 0/10!!!!

Passive aggressive. She will not upload the slides she uses to lecture on blackboard- so take a picture of EVERY SLIDE! Avoid asking any questions or help- as you'd probably have better luck with talking to your classmates. Tests are manageable- workload is alright. But be prepared for a changing syllabus.
