He is a great teacher who really cares about hios students. He will make every effort to make sure that you pass his class!

He wants everyone to do well in his class, and he explains everything very clearly, and with a lot of detail.

He allowed me to make up the work that i missed during 10 days when i had surgery. I passed with a B and math is my worst subject. EXCELLENT TEACHER. i have recommended him to others who have taken his class and done terrific

Dr Siassi is very organized and helpful. There is no reason why anyone, even those who think they're "bad" at math, shouldn't pass this class. There is so much help, as well as tutoring at the lab, that it would surprise me if anyone got lower than a B in the class.

He seems like he will be really hard on you but he isn't. He gave lets you use a cheat sheet for test. The last test he gave us was a take home test, everyone got 100 on the test and 100 on a portfolio. Which is just notes and homework assignments. I took it 2 times at FAU and both times got a F. I got an A will prof. Siassi! He's AWESOME!!!

He is not a bad teacher and he knows a lot of math. However, you need to be carefull with his grades, sometimes he takes more points out of your tests, and you get a lower grade than the one you actually have.

I have never had such an easy teacher! He reviews before the test and the test is the same problems, just different numbers. Some are actually the exact same problems. This class cannot be any easier.

Fast track summer class...he flies through the work. No real room for questions. Gives out tons of homework but doesn't really check if it's right or completed either. Study for his test too.

I have taken this guy for every math class. He is very knowledgeable about math and does a good job teaching it as well. Math is not my strong point but he reviews for his tests and makes it easy to get an A. Definitely take him for as many classes as possible!

very easy "A". I took summer B and he went fast but was very good at teaching math. Do the homework for easy grades b/c he never really checks it. Also group leadeers get extra points and you dont even have to do anything extra. You get to work together a lot in class and you get a 100% on the final. highly recommended!

If you have to take Stats 2023, take my advice and sign up for the online section with Siassi. The online assignments help you understand the material and his tests are multiple choice. Very easy. He's also a more than fair guy. Trust me on this one.

Online class. Very responsive to e-mailed questions. Rigid with on-time assignments, but should be. Provides on-line help group for those who need tutoring. Liberal Arts Math.

Taking his online class we had very little interaction with him, and he really had no involvement but telling us when tests were. It was very easy course and a nice curving of the grades.

Took online liberal arts math, and got an A. The beautiful thing about online math classes is that you don't have to remember formulas. Ten question tests with an hour to complete so you have time. I am taking statistics with him next semester online because it's the only way I can avoid a C. Good online teacher if you keep up with the work.

He's a GREAT Professor! Take a summer class with him...it flys by & there are only 3 tests. The last test is an easy A because its a take home. Also, he gives you an extra 100 points for doing your homework...which you really don't have to work too hard on because he skims through it VERY fast!

Very easy "A" if you are willing to put in the time. Took the online class and it was ok. Do the homework well in advance of when it is due, and also do as many practice tests as you can tolerate, as this will help tremendously to get a good grade on the tests. Homework=100 points, and 3 tests total 300 for a max of 400 points.

I took the class online and this was a great teacher! I think that doing Statistics online was way better than in class because I have 5 classes in all I could do math with my spare time. He gave plenty of time on tests. He w/d you if you arent online every 3 days. other than that he is great.

I HATE MATH! with a passion, but this class was a BREEZE! I took it online, & it gets straight to the point, do ALL your homeworks (you can re-try all the problems till you get them right)I got a B in the class and Honestly didn't have to put much effort. The test are only 10 Q's but it comes straight from what you do in ur HW. Siassi is VERY help

This teacher is extremely helpful. Online math class can seem overwhelming but this class is sooo easy, you do the work, take the test (10Q's) and boom ur done! He always replies to ur Q's, and U ACTUALLY LEARN! Best Math class ever..SERIOUSLY!

Took two of his classes online. Gives an absolute ton of homework that takes forever to do. Tests are easy (three of them in each class). He also gives practice tests which makes it really easy to get an A on the real test. Got an A in both classes, but allow a lot of time for homework.

Prof Siassi is the reason why I will be able to hold my AA degree this coming Fall. I hated math until I started taking him last spring. I took Intermediate & College Algebra and I'm enrolled in Statistic this summer. All online, lots of homework but what I like the most is you don't have to go to the testing center for the test. He's a must.

I must say, although I received a D it wasn't his fault. He told us what to expect. The class has over 75 hours of homework alone and the tests (3) only 10 questions each. If you take him, make sure you put in the time.

I find math to be very challenging, however with Professor Siassi, he explained the requirements, there is a lot of work to use as pratice and there is also pratice test which is almost the exact test that you will be taking. If you do the work there is little room for failing. He is awesome in classroom and online.

ilove this teacher he makes math fun and he gives extra credit if you did all of you homework and put it in your portfolio with that if your final grade was a "B" with the homework you'll earn an "A".

Very helpful and answered any questoin class had. He does move very fast and would recommend not take take him if you are not the best at math. Class started at 38 and finished with 6 students. Tests are not multiple choie but he gives a lot of extracredit at the end and will bump up your grade.

Took him online, a ton of homework......do it and you will pass. Quick with responses and is very reasonable. WIll take him for MAC1105 if I can get in.

Took online class and was worried about teachin myself but did great. Older student so I am disaplined and found online videos and tutorials very helpful. Great that tests are open book so not as much stress to remember formulas, taking all classes w/ this teacher

I took his class over the summer online. You have 3 tests, and a lot of homework. To get an A make sure you do as much homework as you can. STUDY the practice tests, because they are exactly like the test with only different numbers.

Took online MAC2233, as always expectations r upfront - h/w, prac test, tests, online dscussions. Have done all my math classes online w/him. Open book tests - can't ask for more to make sure you can get an A. If not enough time to complete all is ok, u know where u stand w/ur grade at all times, so u decide if A,B,C...

Prof. Siassi is a GREAT professor. He explains everything very clearly and is always there if you need help. The only problem is that your grade is made up of 3 tests (10 questions each), so if you screw up on one you can fail the entire semester. Over half the class withdrew after test #2 because they had no chance of passing.

AWESOME professor, by FAR best math professor at palm beach state. Math is my worst subject and I promise, he makes it easy for you! Goes over each concept in great detail and gives practice quizzes for each test! I strongly recommend him. Anyone that fails his class either never goes to school, or doesn't look at the practice tests!

Took Professor Siassi for Statistic, he does a little bit of lecturing pretty much every class. He also have you working in groups, but the best part is he gives a practice test for every test and he pull out 15 EXACT same question from those practice test and that's your test. As long as you work on the PT there is no way you shouldn't make an A

He is a good professor. Explains well. You get a lot of practice. He will not baby you, thats for sure. He says what he means, and means what he says. You do not NEED the book, however he does reference it a lot and gives you class group work out of it. On the CC program there is an ebook copy online.

Took his online sta2023 class...easiest A i ever got...all you have to do is do the home work online..no need to go to testing center...there is a practice test for all his test..the test mirrors exactly the same...EASY A

I took Statistics and College Algebra online with Siassi this summer and got an A in each class. It was alot of work but I finished all the homework with in a month after the class started.His pratice test are the as the actual test but diffrent numbers.

I took this class online over the summer. If you think its a walk in the park you are clearly mistaken. He give LOTS of hw some sections had over 100 problems. But if you study & do the work no way you cannot pass with an A. He gives you practice test, I advise you to take advantage of it. It's very similar to the test. I'm bad in math & got an A.

Hi I took Statistics online this past semester. It's a very difficult class to learn online but the professor and Lynn are very helpful and the blackboard for communicating with fellow classmates are helpful. There is a lot of work to be done. The quizs are tough and for tests there are practice tests to review.

Mr. Siassi is an EXCELLENT professor. Before his class, I had not been in a math class in 10yrs. I had major anxiety because I knew I did not take a refresher to bring me up to speed. He came highly recommended. Firm on attendance, great teaching techniques. Although I failed 1st test, passed other test with A's. He's helpful! Wish he taught CAL1

Mr Siassi is an EXCELLENT professor. He came high recommended. I had anxiety, b/c I had not taken any math classes in 10yrs. He lectures from textbook and overhead. Then breaks down the formulas for his students to understand on the chalk board. Class participation he encourages. Group study and assignments are very HELPFUL. Everyone passed!

LOVE HIM! Absolutely the best prof. to take for math online! He is soo helpful, very clear in instruction and always available to help. Took him for Algebra and Stats and now for liberal arts math. He's the easiest online professor by far. Only three tests...but there is a LOT of hw.

The best teacher you can take for Inter/College Algebra. I highly recommend him if you are scared of math! There is a lot of homework but it really helps, as he allows unlimited amount of tries. I learned better this way. His tests are 10 questions and he gives you a practice test before each one thats similar to the real tests. Thank you Tony!

Took Him college alg and now liberal arts. yes you get five sections for the whole semester and per section is 120-200 questions but you get a month to complete it. his test is 5-10 days after the section is due. practice the test b4 taking it bc its the exact same questions w/ diff answers. Easy A. Take online. Don't be afraid bc u will pass =)!!!

Took college algebra online, you have to pay for mymathlab and keep up with the weekly discussions to get a good grade. Easy if you're experienced in online courses. Do not take this class online if your not willing to put in the work it requires like logging in everyday. EVERYDAY

I took this Calc class online after not having a math class in 15 years. There was a TON of homework, but I think that's needed in math. You have to post questions which took time but it was helpful. I watched some videos, but really learned the material from the homework. He gave pretests that you can take multiple times if needed. Take this class

Great profesor! Very helpful and caring. Taking his class online, had issues with the testing center because they wouldnt let me use my own calculator. He let me retake the first one and went over my second and gave me credit, where I had a mistake because of the use of a different calculator. A lot of work but with helpful tools to solve it.

One of the best math classes I've taken. Math is not easy to take online, especially, but Professor Siassi makes it easy to understand and has great communication skills. The practice tests are exactly what's on the test, so use them to your advantage. TONS of homework but very helpful, the program breaks the problems down and explains step by step

Awesome Professor. He actually said in his syllabus that he doesn't give extra credit. However, he did! He doesn't respond to e-mails sometimes..so don't count on a quick response. He even allowed us to take test 2 and 3 online (3 in total tests) Doesn't use the book fyi but he says that in his syllabus.

Very nice and understanding teacher. Tough class, but it would be a lot harder if you take someone else. Really glad I took it with this guy!

One of the best professor at pbsc hands down! His work is clear as well as his grading system easy class if you do the work. Only 3 test. The home work assignments and discussion posts are graded oh and do the practice test! It helps ALOT he grades easily and answers email almost immediately. If I could I would definitely take him again!!!

Take him! Homework is difficult but you have time to do it so just make sure you do it and get 10. Tests are difficult. STUDY THE PRACTICE TESTS AND YOU WILL PASS do discussions every week 1 min for the whole course. you will pass if you do this!

He is a great professor. I really love his classes!!!! I learned so much! Personally, I hate math, but in his class I started to love math... definitely he knows what he is doing.

LOTS OF HOMEWORK. The first week was crazy but do not give up! I actually liked the online class because I could do it in my own pace and MyMathLab would just teach me the math. He only gave us 3 tests and one of them was take home. It is an easy course. You have to be organized though, he is helpful only if you work hard! Excellent Professor

Don't leave the homework for the last minute because some have 60 math problems and then others have over 100. The questions all come with helpful buttons that you can either see an example question worked out or the computer will work it out with you step by step. The tests are taken at the testing center with only one chance

Tony Siassi is a great Teacher, I took him in summer, I hate math, but I passed with an "A "in this class, The key is Do his Home Work he gives a lot of H-W must be done thru Pearson Math Lab, do it and gives 3-tests, 10 Questions each, if you do his practice test you'll pass the 3-tests in this class, and H-W counts as 100 points also

Second time taking him, love his class and how he does things. I have never been able to pass math literally getting an F but since I have taken him I have passed with Bs! 5 hw assignments(they're long) 3 tests (10 questions) DO THE REVIEW and 100 discussion boards, nothing crazy, asking questions and answering for other students. TAKE HIM !

Amazing professor. He responds quickly to emails if you have any questions or concerns. I took him online. It was a risk, but he made it easy and worked with me throughout the whole semester. He did warn us on his syllabus that his online classes does get more work than people who actually goes to his class! Would take him again!

TAKE THIS CLASS. This class is about doing the homework on my mathlab (which is about an average of 80 problems each). And then post 10 discussions per chapter. The tests are ten questions and taken at the testing center and are open notes. He responds to emails . If you half ass this class, you will get a B.

Great teacher, you know exactly what to expect. The homework is very time consuming. The tests are taken in the testing center, but he gives a practice test that is very similar to the graded exam. 10 discussion posts a week which are actually helpful. I'll be taking Calc with him this summer. Don't buy textbook.

Took precalc online during the summer & it was easy. He tells you EXACTLY what is required of you. Tests online were open note & book and he was always there to help if you need it. You must submit 10 weekly discussion posts for each chapter. The workload is heavy, but if you manage your time you can easily get an A in the class.

One of the best teachers at PBSC. He truly wants you to learn the topic and to get a good grade. As long as you practice and do the homework, he is willing to work with you. If you need help he's more than happy to assist you.

This class is mostly lecture styled. The homework has a LOT of questions with multiple parts to each question. If you get stuck the Mathlab help button is of great usage. It was kind of challenging for me because math is not my best subject but overall the class isn't bad. If he see's that you are trying he will be lenient.

Very straight forward class. Read the syllabus ahead of time for clear outline. A LOT OF HOMEWORK so it is important to set aside time for this class, but tests were open note/open book so it made the course a lot easier. YOU MUST BE DISCIPLINED TO TAKE THIS COURSE, but if you follow his calendar you should pass with an A!

Professor Siassi mostly leaves the teaching up to MathXL videos and the Khan Academy but you know exactly what is expected of you. Take and retake the pre-tests, the graded tests will almost be identical. Heavy homework load but if you take advantage of the pre-tests and do all homework no reason you should have lower than A for your grade.

I've take 3 online courses with him. He's great, very hands on and will get back to you very quickly. All the homework is on MyMathLab and you need to do two discussions. Take him he's great.

First math online class that I've taken. Very assignment heavy, but when you self teach; expect it to learn the material. Had a bit of trouble getting the concept through some of the videos but Khan Academy kept me up to speed. 10 post per week on Discussion Boards. Highly recommend doing all practice tests before exams. Would take him again.

Had to do 5 discussions every week (really easy). Had to go to the testing center to take exams even though it was an online course. Only 4 exams which were open notes but there was a lot of homework. He allowed us to retake test 4 if we got anything under a 100. There is no extra credit. Overall, it was an easy class.

This class is a breeze for an online Calculus course. I got a D on the first exam, got 100% on the last two, did the homeworks, posted 10x a week in discussions, and ended up with an A. He responds to emails quickly and the class is designed to help you do well on the exams. Do the homeworks (which don't count for a lot) for practice!!!

I took Prof. Siassi for college MAC 1105, STA 2023, MAC 1140, and MAC 2233, ad I got A's for everyone of them. Overall, his grading criteria is clear and straightforward. However, expect to spend time his homework. To be successful, you have to love the math and work hard.

You work hard you will earn an A if you slack I promise you will the online course. Don't think this is an easy A. Practice tests are ALMOST the same as the real test so copy them to use for notes very simple.

Professor Siassi is a good professor, just do your online assignments and exams; they are not hard. He is very flexible with the course schedule, his online classes are the best if you work full time, or have a busy life. He uses MyMathLab in his online modules. Homework assignments are long, but you learn a lot through repetition.

The amount of homework in this class is insane. You have to keep up with it or you will doom yourself. However, the homework will help you pass the tests. The practice tests are also a good indicator of what will be on the test. Go to the SLS to get help if you need it. There is no extra credit in his class.

I decided to review once I saw some of the negative ones here. Yes, there is homework assignments but they are not hard and they prepare you for the test. There is also a practice exam that is literally the exact material that will be on the test. If you do your assignments and use the practice exam you receive an A. Pretty straightforward.

Professor Siassi is really great!! He goes over several examples and provides all the notes necessary for the class on blackboard to print and use in class. You cannot skip his class or you will get lost and if you miss too many he removes you from the course. He's a funny guy. 10/10. If you do the homework and review the notes there no way to fail

This online class was great because he made everything clear, even sent out constant reminders on assignments and exams. If you do your hw and take some notes, you'll do fine on the exams. Textbook is needed for certain formulas that can't be seen on PP, I used the ebook. Overall it was a very good class.

I took him online. Here's the online class: 3 sections on MyMathlab - like 120 hw problems and a test with an identical practice test but different numbers. How to get an A: Do all or most hw (100-90%) Lean practice quiz and print it out. Take open note test in testing center with the step by stem instructions you print. How can you not get an A??

HW 100 points of the grade, discussions 100, tests 800. Open notebook tests and the practice tests are almost identical to the real tests (just different numbers). I got a 50% on the first test and got 100% on the last two. That gave me a 70% for the class. With the discussions and hw im looking at a b or a for the final grade.

Straight forward professor, lots of homework through my math lab. Easy to complete the class with a good grade. Just prepare for a lot of work for the program.

If you want to become competent in mathematics he's the guy. But if you want an easy grade this is not the class. Math requires practice !!!!

I took this class fully online, so there were no meeting times. When I had questions, he answered them quickly and clearly. He chunks the MyMathLab homework all into one, so each homework has about 90 to 100 questions. He has pre-exams which are very helpful for the actual exams. Overall, organized class with clear instructions.

Professor Siassi's class was plenty challenging but he was super easy to reach out to and was always ready to help. His assignments are graded by points and as long as you have 700 points by the end of the class you've passed w a C. His hw assignments range from 60-100 questions each but some of them are multiple-choice and very self-explanatory.

This is one of the greatest professors I've ever taken, I have truly become a statistician. His homework assignments are very self-explanatory and simple to do. He sends out constant non-duplicate messages to give you questions to answer on your discussion posts so you always have practice work to do.

Just do your homework! This is a college level math course, it's not meant to be easy. But I promise you, if you do your homework and practice tests, you will pass! It's open note, open book! Any time I had a question on the content, I reached out to Professor Siassi and he helped me immediately, one time even creating a bespoke lecture for me.

He wants his students to succeed, and he advocated for us to get the help we needed to pass. We could use our notebooks on tests, and depending on the work you put in, he could be lenient on due dates. You're graded based on the total points you gained from assignments and quizzes, which were relatively easy but time-consuming.

Professor tony is a caring teacher and he cares about his student success. I took his class in previous semester for MFG1107, he made sure that all the students understand the concepts of the lessons we were taught. Great professor and highly recommended to take him.
