I've had six religion professors, and he's the best one, and I've had some good ones. What stands out about Bro. Morrill is how he helps the students apply the scriptures. When student's make comments, he says, "Find it in scripture." It's really stretching me to actually know and apply the gosepel. He's funny as heck and never not happy.

Brother Morrill is by far one of my favorite professors now. He is new to BYUI and very open to suggestions on how to run his class. Extremely funny but knows when to be serious, keeping the spirit very strong in the room. I want to take a class form him every semester now!

I love Brother Morrill! He's always positive and happy. His assignments aren't ridiculous and they help you with the papers you have to write each week (don't let that deter you; they're really not that bad). His lectures are always inspirational and he has wonderful comments. It's a class discussion. I would definitely take him again!

Brother Morrill is BY FAR my favorite professor. He's like your favorite sarcastic uncle. He really cares about ALL of his students. He is extremely funny and easy going. All of his students love him. He is wonderful at making us laugh while still being spiritual. The homework is usually really easily, and he grades it charitably.

I love this class. He is a very funny teacher that makes it his responsibility to know each and every student by name. His assignments make you think deeper about the articles of faith and basic doctrines of the church. The Foundations of the Restoration class i took was an hour long, twice a week. TAKE HIS CLASS YOU WONT REGRET IT!

Bro Morrill is seriously AWESOME. The readings aren't long and the lessons go along with exactly what you read. He also takes lots of time for his students through email and meeting with you during his office hours to go over any questions you have about the gospel- even when its not relevant to the class. Would definitely take from him again!!!

SUPA HOT FIYA! He is so down to Earth and likes to explain the gospel from all sides but always is able to show how it is true even amongst opposition from others. Great class to participate in missionary work and really lets you know all the beliefs of the church and how we can share them with others easily.

Bro M is so funny! He always shares funny stories and adds how they apply to the lesson. Each day he has you answer a fun question for roll like "What is your favorite type of bread." His classes are enjoyable and he is so passionate about the lesson. You won't regret taking this class.

Holy Moly Brother Morrill! He is a fantastic teacher. I felt the spirit in his class so many times. He wants you to know that you are a child of God. He answers any questions you have and is personable. I have no problem skipping classes, but I never wanted to skip his class. He doesn't take late work so keep up with iLearn!

There are prepare assignments and ponder & prove assignments where you answer a few questions, which are sometimes tricky and time-consuming. No technology allowed. Two major projects where you write out and fulfill a detailed plan of how you will live a particular principle for two weeks. You get 2 free absences, then it hurts you.

Brother Morrill is so awesome! You won't regret taking his class. His class is so inspirational and he's so full of knowledge. He teaches amazing lectures. I did not miss a class because I love how he teaches so much. I've never understood things about the church really well until I took his class. Just do your work and take notes. Take his class!

Super easy and very spiritual. I always felt the spirit in his class. Makes u laugh everyday. U have small assignments that you print out and bring to class just so u can remember what u wrote. He requires notes, but large or s note small dont matter. Final is just all your papers that you did throughout the semester and what you learned. Easy A.

Bro Morrill is super easy. 2 assignments a week only, you need to print it off and take it to class so you can remember what you did. Only requires small notes, which can be a sentence and he'll accept, your mid-term is just living the gospel and showing how it changed you. The easiest and most rewarding religion class I have ever taken. He is so good at explaining controversial subjects. This class was not as overwhelming like other classes and I get overwhelmed very easy. You just have to prepare before each class for homework but then you talk about them so you have everything you need for the essays.

He is the kind of teacher that learns all of the students names. I took Foundations of the Restoration from him, and learned new things even though I'm a return missionary. I did not get tired or bored in his class even though it was a 7:45 class. And that wasn't because I'm a morning person.

Brother Morrill is hilarious and is really smart. He makes you understand the Doctrine and Covenants like you have never understood before. He really cares and memorizes everyone's name. Easiest 225 class ever. Other teachers give u a ton of work, he breaks it down to help you do it all easily. Super spiritual, he will strengthen your testimony! Clear grading criteria, 2 HW assignments weekly, n weekend is a paper on those two assignments, super easy. Overall, do your HW, go to class, take notes, n print out HW when u go to class.

Brother Morrill is my favorite teacher! Hes energetic and facilitates an environment where everyone feels like they can participate. Literally every assignment in class is for your benefit so you WANT to do it, plus it's just scripture study. If you need to strengthen your testimony take this teacher, he cares so much and makes every class so fun!

You were graded on your ability to answer questions over the reading. Questions were easy to answer and there weren't many right or Wong questions. They were mostly thought provoking. Very class oriented and class discussions were fun. Easy grader. Great person. He knows his stuff but conveys it in a great way

"That's AWESOME!" Brother Morrill is hilarious. He loves to ask questions that will really make you really think about what you believe. There were days when his lectures seriously blew my mind. He gave A LOT of homework, but he promised to modify the load in future semesters. He's a super lenient grader, though. Just cover the basics!

Brother Morrill is the best professor I have ever had. He has so much to offer his classes, and he truly loves and cares about his students. I wish I could take him again for the rest of my college career. He talks about the gospel in a way that makes you have new perspective. I never left the class without feeling uplifted and inspired.

He is so well read with the scriptures and uses it to get us thinking and find our own answers to our questions. He truly cares about you and your learning. A short paper is due before each class which can be tedious at times, but that's the only homework. There are a handful of papers to do, but super easy if you do the before class stuff.

Brother Morrill is my favorite religion professor I have had so far. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Do the pre class assignments and show up to class. Then theres a couple other things here and there. Nothing that isn't super manageable. Not hard to get a good grade. He is a great guy and really cares about you!

I loved Brother Morrill. He cares about what hes doing and hes really good at it. One of my favorite things about his teaching style is that he presented new information, a lot of religion classes seem to be the same information reworded in different ways. There was a lot of homework, but it wasnt too bad and really helped prepare you for class.

There were a lot of quizzes and since it was over the pearl of great price and the book is so small, there was a lot of other reading and research you had to do. It was very inspiring and I would highly recommend this class to anyone.

Participation is really important, but if there is a real reason, he is very understanding. He gives amazing lectures that leave you telling everyone about the amazing class you had. It was some work reading, writing prepare assignments, then printing them out to take to class everyday, but it was worthwhile. I truly loved his class! It helped me grow spiritually. We had 4 relatively easy 2-page papers due. He wants you to share and put in effort. If you do that, it's a great experience. He teaches with the Spirit & knowledge.

Brother Morrill has a great balance between strict and laid back. If you simply try in his you will pass. He is exemplary in a religious setting because he helps you think of both sides. He creates a lot of, "AHA," moments. I had numerous conversations with him after class about various topics.

Incredible teacher that ties modern subjects with modern revelation. Well versed in the Gospel and holds his own and responds well with "deep" questions. Doesn't delve too deep in a subject but he does leave plenty of room for personal thought and development that can lead to deeper understanding of solid doctrine. Puts learning before grades.

Best religion teacher without a doubt. There's no other professor at this school that can make me want to take their class at 7:45 a.m., so that should tell you everything you need to know. Classes are always open to questions and he will let the class go whatever direction it ends up in. He lets the class do its own thing and just guides it along.

I freaking love him. This class was amazing and he loves hearing our ideas and thoughts. He also is pretty easy going with the grades and as long as you do the work you get the credit for it.

Most interesting religion class I've taken and I would take his other classes too. Lectures are very informative and he gets to know everyone's name in the first week. Always in a good mood and leads excellent discussions in class. You can tell he takes the gospel seriously but also has a humorous side which you learn from the very beginning.

I learned SO MUCH in his class! He encouraged good participation and he was so inspiring. Throughout the semester he had us ask anonymous questions about 'the hard/deep topics'. And he answered them! He was super funny, but never unkind. I had some questions about a project we had to do, and he made himself available to work with me. He's the best!

Class time is fun and informative, no "test" besides an interview final (don't stress if you are present during class). homework assignments are always the same and take 25-60 minutes depending on how much you want to learn!!!!!

Brother Morrill is the MAN. His class discussions are the best: I learned so much about the Restoration, I wish I had taken him before my mission! I also appreciate the workload: like, there's a good amount of homework, but it won't murder you in your sleep (unlike some religion courses :P) His biggest priority is strengthening your testimony!

He definitely has a very 'seminary teacher' vibe. He is cool and chill. He has some good insights. Maybe a bit narrow minded in his teachings, but that might just be the religion class. He doesn't always have his course or homework set up more than a week in advance. You have 3-4 readings every week that take some time. Sure, I'd take it again.

Such a good class, the spirit is always there and he's such a funny guy. He has such an infectious laugh too. This class has the assignment due on the day of class @ 2! Not too hard but not super super easy, a good balance! Recommend taking him if you can! taking him again next semester too!

I love Brother Morrill!! You should do the reading (especially from the student manual) because there's a short quiz at the start of each class, but they're really easy and you have the chance to retake them. He is funny and I really felt the Spirit in his class. You gotta take him!

Homework is due before each class. It is lengthy and time consuming, but really easy. He grades more on effort than accuracy. Papers are due at the beginning of the semester. By the end, it was weekly assignments and preparation for the final, which was a ten minute conversation with him. Big on scriptural evidence. Great learning for new converts.

I took The Eternal Family class with Brother Morril and it has been one of my favorite classes!!! After every single class I went to I just felt so inspired and felt like my testimony was stronger. He also loves questions which I loved. He is seriously the best.

The subject matter is obviously a little controversial but he did an amazing job clarifying and explaining doctrine, and answered tons of questions I had about the church. My testimony is stronger after taking his class.

I'm taking his eternal family class. His assignments are easy and if you don't do them he explains the entire thing next period. He uses PowerPoint/class discussion to lecture. He is genuine and kind. If you reach out to him he'll make time to meet with you and answer your questions. You will not regret taking his class.

I cannot recommend Brother Morrill enough!!! I have learned SO much from his class and he does an incredible job at keeping everyones attention. I promise that you will not be bored in his class! He teaches some incredible principles and valuable things that I'll use for life. I would probably take every religion class with him if I could!

This was by far my favourite class this semester. Brother Morrill is an incredible professor, and I wish I could have him as a professor for every religion class. Bro Morrill is the best religion teacher of my 6 semesters of religion classes by alot. The assignments are a little more involved. However, a week's worth won't take more than an hour and a half. Lectures are engaging and personable. Save eternal families and foundations of the restoration for this guy. I wish I did. Top notch

Before class, there was almost always an assignment that was due, a long with a weekly reflection assignment, a project, and maybe a random assignment here and there. I loved how spiritual Brother Morrill is and how knowledgeable he is in the gospel, but keep in mind he cold calls. Attendance matters and there will be a big penalty on late work.

I took Brother Morrill's Eternal Families Class (REL 200C) and I absolutely loved it!! He literally gives such insightful lectures for the family a proclamation for the world that it's as if you thought you understood the Proclamation but then he gives you a set of glasses and you all of a sudden see everything much more clearly! TAKE THIS CLASS!

If you truly want to learn and grow your faith, then you have no reason to not take this class. He will help your faith and action grow!

I LOVED THIS CLASS. Brother Morrill has a talent for teaching doctrine in a whole new way that just makes one see everything in a different light. It's such an insightful and spiritual experience. There's always reading and journal entries, but they aren't hard. It takes about 30-45 minutes prior to class depending on the topic. Take this class!!!

Brother Morrill has assignments due before class that takes maybe 45 mins -1 hour. part of your grade is showing up. Not your typical final just a 5 min talk he cares about the students. He learned our names on the same day. most got an A. Side note: make sure to have at least 3 scripture references. he gives you a tool to look up some references

This Eternal Family Class changed me. If you are considering taking it with Brother Morrill, DO IT!!! I took a morning class with him, and I never skipped once because his lessons are so eye opening, and I never wanted to miss it. He does a great job facilitating spirit-guided discussions. I felt very comfortable participating and he is hilarious.

His class blew my mind every time. He taught some deep and complex doctrine in a way that it always made so much sense. I was always excited to go to his class. The class overall was pretty easy. Make sure to include scriptures or other references in the assignments and you'll be golden every time.

(The Eternal Family) Brother Morrill is one of the best teachers! expands your learning and the way you think about or view life. You won't get bored in this class, I wish it were longer. 3 homework assignments a week, they are easy and have to heavily reference where you are getting your info. I cannot say this enough, this teacher is absolutely exceptional. this is BY FAR the best professor to take Eternal families from. The way he taught us truly changed my life. From what I heard about other eternal families classes, his curriculum and assignments provide more opportunities for personal conversion and deeper understanding.

Brother Morrill is very kind and always in a good mood, which was a big help considering I took his class at 7:45am. The homework was consistent each week (3 assignments per week) with no quizzes/tests all year. Only hard part is attendance is mandatory- you get up to 3 missed classes but past that each missed day is 7.5% off your final grade.

Bro Morrill makes you think. The class really puts a different perspective on things. There's a prep assignment for every class, make sure you do it before or you'll get marked down for late work!

Mr Morril's lectures are amazing. He dives into complex by relevant issues and allows a lot of thought-provoking discussion. he makes an effort to know the names of everyone in class and lectures in a very engaging way. I am definitely going to take him again for my Eternal Family class.

Brother Morrill explains the Family well, and he is open to controversial topics as well. Before every class, there is a reading assignment. The readings are usually a couple of verses and a talk, following a reading assignment. It usually takes around 1 hour to finish. There is a final exam, which is a 5-min teaching session in his office.

Taking Eternal Families from Professor Morrill not only amplified but transformed my knowledge and testimony of the gospel into something better and stronger. He is incredibly intelligent and helps us find answers on our own through inspired class discussions. There is a good amount of homework but what you get out of the class is what you put in.

I did horribly in this class but that was entirely my fault. Brother Morrill is an incredibly forgiving and talented teacher. I took the Special Topics in Religion class, but that wasn't a drop down option.

Brother Morrill is one of my favorite teachers. He truly cares about all of the students and takes time to be one on one with everyone as much as he can. His teaching style is very direct, engaging, and clear. The eternal family class is the best religion class so far for me!

I liked brother Morril, he is very friendly. He has a good way to teach this topics, and make it more fun, however. There is a lot of church culture involved in the class, and for me as a convert was very hard to understand, I did not like that, including the many times he repeats how good is to start family while young, I think its a wrong message

Brother Morrill is undoubtedly the most phenomenal professor I have ever had. His lectures were interactive and fascinating, and I looked forward to class every single week. He is funny and the assignments aren't difficult, just study your scriptures! He makes gospel concepts fun and applicable, I would take this class again in a heartbeat

Brother Morrill is an incredible teacher. I would highly recommend him to anyone taking Eternal Family. His course is challenging in all of the right ways. He is kind, loving, smart, and Christlike.

As a closeted student I was nervous this course would hurt my testimony and further me from the gospel. Instead my questions were answered, I felt God's love, and I have never been more sure of my faith and purpose. Brother Morrill is an incredible professor who teaches with truth and compassion. Don't be scared to take this class!

Overall, I believe Brother Morrill is an amazing lecturer, every lecture would end with me feeling the Spirit and almost always gaining some new perspective of the gospel I never had before. My only gripe is that if attendance is mandatory, he should not assign as many papers/projects as he did, as writing 3 papers a week killed my Spirit a bit.

He taught class in a very informative and inspiring way. I learned a lot from the difficult topics he went over. He's pretty good with questions. Class is mostly lectures and partner/class discussions. The homework is tedious and long, but the project and tests were easy. Overall a great teacher and class, just very long and unnecessary homework.

Brother Morrill was an AMAZING & funny professor! He was so knowledgeable about the Pearl of Great Price. We asked him sooo many questions and he had fantastic answers for them all. Only note: It is a little reading heavy—scriptures & corresponding student manual section. Read them!! You have daily quizzes that'll call you out if you don't lol

Brother Morrill is an amazing teacher! He is so passionate about what he is teaching and isn't afraid to answer any and all questions that students have. I am so sad that this class is over. I am hopeful that there is another class of his that I can take in the future.

Brother Morrill is the most amazing professor you'll ever have! He is kind, understanding, hilarious, and has the strongest testimony of Christ. His Eternal Family class is literally the best class I have ever taken so don't miss out!!!

He goes into detail and teaches methods to use for a deeper study. he grades with a strict requirement that they want to see, so don't skip the readings. The final was very simple and based on effort. You can only skip class three times before your grade starts to drop drastically and he tends to call on people, so make sure you prep for class.

Brother Morrill is genuinely the best professor I've ever had at BYU-I, he makes the classes so fun and engaging, it was the only class I actually looked forward to going to. Attendance is really important, if you miss more than like 4 days you basically get zero attendance credit for the whole semester, other than that, great class.
