I think dr. magrann is a very good teacher. she tries really hard to get u interested in the subject. She wants u to do well. not an easy class though but she makes it easier. she is a new teacher and is very open-minded. i am glad i had her as a teacher for anatomy.

Dr. Magrann is a wonderful anatomy professor! (she's also an actual medical doctor). I really appreciated how she goes out of her way to help students, with lecture notes and labeled anatomy pictures on her website. I felt like she wanted her students to succeed! She also has a dry, hilarious sense of humor.

Wonderful teacher-her top priority was making certain each student had what they needed to succeed. Very easy to talk to. Lectures were interesting & easy to go through. I feel very fortunate to have taken her class. She removed a lot of the stress from Anatomy!

All the other horror stories of insane anatomy teachers do not apply to her!!!! THIS IS A HARD CLASS--- but she makes it EASY. I walked away with memorization skills I will use the rest of my life! This teacher is ALWAYS on time, well planned lecture, clear in teaching, provides lecture transcripts, pp slides and ALWAYS willing to help.

Dr.Magrann not only teaches Anatomy, but she will also teach you study skills that will help you succeed in future courses(just follow her example on what she does for you on her lectures & labs handouts in future classes). Anatomy is alot of work, but put effort in you should be able to get at least a B(show up to class, pay attention and study!)

Just finished anatomy with Magrann. What an amazing teacher. Anatomy is not an easy class, but Magrann makes sure that you learn the whole time. You don't waste time with "busy work". She goes above and beyond any professor I have EVER had. She goes out of her way to make sure that the experience you get is great, and that you know all you need to.

The class itself is hard because of the amount of information that you need to retain for each exam/lab practicum;however, Dr. Magrann has all the tools you need to succeed online at her website, all the powerpoints for class an labs are there, plus she has flashcards ready for each subject in the class, Awesome, right? I recommend her!

Dr Magrann has a great website to retrieve info. but I do not recommend you take her class. She has a ton of mistakes on her lecture notes and her tests and she doesn't always give you credit if you get it wrong. I barely got a B and could've had a much better grade if she hadn't made so many mistakes. Don't frustrate yourself.

Great teacher with an amazing outlook on life. You do not need to purchase a textbook for her class she makes flashcards for her students, the flashcards are the test questions, study those and you will be fine. The only advice I have is don't fall behind because there's a lot of information. She has every tool available for you to get an A.

Amazing professor! I highly recommend. Anatomy is difficult and there is a lot of memorization required and I wouldn't recommend taking more than 12 units with this course. Most of ur time will be studying materials but with Magrann's effective teaching and clarity, u can succeed in this course if u do apply yourself. I am a health care professional and had to re-take Anatomy because the last time I took it was 18 years prior. Dr. Magrann is very helpful and made learning about Anatomy easier, especially compared to my previous instructor. The class was centered on understanding Anatomy and not just memorizing.

Dr. Magrann makes anatomy class interesting that she would show her students the latest technology, such as medical devices (she would bring an medical-artificial eye that can used on a patient to class, on the day she's having lecture about eye). She would show her students medical surgeries (heart operation, lasik surgery, cataract surgery etc)

Dr. Magrann has been one of the most caring, kind and helpful teachers I had ever had. Her materials are extremely organized and easy to follow. She is very helpful in class and very understanding. Took her last year for Anatomy and it was the best class ever! She made me really love the subject! The only thing is that some students were grouping together and collaborating on the exams which is not right for the rest of us! I got an A though all on my own. I think this was the first time she taught Bio 20 but she did a great job. I learned so much from her class. She uses flash cards on her website and whatever is on the flash cards are on the test. So always study the flash cards. She is clear in her lectures, her lab section was kind of difficult but as long as you study your labs you will do good.

Her lectures are engaging and informative and the exams and quizzes are only on flashcards that she give you at the beginning of the semester. Study the flashcards, attend all labs and lectures, and you will get an easy A.

100% recommend her, She is such a great professor, she cares about the students and she is helpful, i wish she has Anatomy and physio as well.

Her lectures are as short and to the point as possible. She gives a clear picture on what to study for test. she took a dying program and brought it back to life. Best professor ever!

Dr. Magrann always keeps you in the know, whenever she gets new info she'll immediately pass it on to her students. She responds to emails very quickly outside of school hours. Not a lot of homework given, but gives plenty of study material that you actually need to put time into.

Dr Magrann not only has high knowledge and experience in the field and share it with students, also with a great sense of responsibility and kindness she searches and gives the information and gudes us step by step to be prepare for internshipe. she is in permanant contact with her students to give them the latest information and news.

Her lectures are engaging and captivating with lecture materials systematically organized and simplified; this makes studying easy and encouraging. Dr. M. is always available to help. Her method of grading is clear. She is very resourceful, resilient, patient, inspiring and accommodating.

Easy if you can do all the discussion. Questions, quiz, and study for tests. Discussion questions can be quite time c9nsuming.

Professor magrann is a really good teacher who is definitely putting in a lot of effort and trying to help her students do well. She puts in a lot of time answering questions and gives extra credit because the in person tests are somewhat difficult. You do learn a lot but it all depends on how much effort you want to put in.

Love Dr. Magrann. She did an excellent job. Would like more critical thinking questions. Otherwise, she is very helpful in pushing and reminding students to do their very best.

Her teaching style is straight forward, clearly, well prepared exams, saving a lot of time for students to study. This class is a Healthcare one, so it requires a lot of memorization than critical thinking. She is an intelligent professor; Knowledge on teaching topics and teaching directly to the point. I wish she can teach all MLT courses.

The class Hematology is very challenging in lecture and labs. I really enjoyed reading the textbook, I have learned a lot in laboratories for example, blood smear, ABO blood typing. But my interested is doing blood smear for diagnosis malaria.

This class was very informative and really gives you a great understanding of not only the medical terms but also dives into the anatomy, physiology and diseases associated with the human body.

The class was very informative and useful if you go further into health care programs. I took anatomy class at Coastline Community and I loved her very much. I aced every test just by studying flashcards from her website. Highly recommended!

Communicates well. She was willing to change certain things to make things a little more easier for example she got rid of due dates on the quizzes so that people would be less likely to miss an assignment/fall behind. All in all, I would take her class again.

This was my first online course. I was nervous about it after reading about other teachers not responding or in a timely manner. However, with Dr. Magrann you do not have to worry at all! She always responded immediately and answered all my questions thoroughly. Her grading is clear and an easy A if you do the work and follow directions.

Took her Medical Terminology class online over the Summer. You are required to learn a lot of terms and definitions. If you want an A, you must study a lot. She gives you all the terms and definitions in handouts which is very helpful because you know exactly what to study. We also had a 3 discussion posts a week (1 post and 2 replies).

Very clear syllabus. Follow the instructions, and know what you need. Her flashcards are awesome. Online is the way to go for this class.

Very easy class! Just do all the assignments online/exams online. Pass the final with a C or better and you'll get an A! Also do the extra credit! The syllabus stated that the book is needed but I didn't even use my book. I would rent instead of buying the book.

Dr. Magrann is a fabulous professor! She is the only professor that replies back within one day. She is a dedicated professor and helps her students achieve! Try to take some time and read her bio/awards received. She offers quizlet flashcards and has a website with helpful information! Thank you for a wonderful experience & would take her again!

Because it was online Medical Terminology, we had to do weekly discussion boards with 2 responses. This class is not a lot of work, just tedious. Prof. Magrann has clear directions & responds to emails promptly. I suggest looking over all exams & do the practice final exam before taking the final (proctored online).

Tracey is a great professor who makes the material engaging. Attendance is mandatory, but the textbook is helpful. Managed to get an A with the aid of online tools like Unstuck AI on top of regular studying.
