She is extremely helpfull. She is very lighthearted and always cracking jokes. The class is very interesting. She is always willing to help.

Prof Davis is one of BHC's finest professors. She is very caring and makes her class VERY INTERESTING! I suggest taking her courses. Normally I don't enjoy profs, but she is one that I do!

Traci is one of the best profs at BHC. She knows her stuff and knows how to teach it so you learn it. Her class is fun but she expects you to learn. All you have to do is pay attention and do the assignments. It was a pleasure going to class every day.

AWESOME prof. I'd take her over and over again if I could. She is HILARIOUS-probably the funniest person I've ever met. You do have to do a fair amount of reading and studying for frequent quizzes and a couple tests but it's toatlly worth it. It's the only class you'll actually WANT to go to.

Dr. Davis is an engaging, intelligent, respectful instructor. Her classes tend to be difficult, but you will learn and you will be challenged. She is always willing to help clarify on lectures and assignments and is very straightforward in her expectations. A great Psych 101 instructor as well.

Dr. Traci Davis is the Psycholoy Professor that I would recommend. She uses expertise, examples and humor in her lectures. She is the opposite of boring. I get the impression that she is very good in her profession and loves what she does because she digs and researches until she gets to the root of the problem. I never wanted to miss this class.

Absolutely amazing! Her stories are interesting & insightful. She is entertaining & also very serious. She engages the students and is very encouraging. There was a ton of real life application for the material. It made me appreciate psych much more. Take her if you have the chance. I'd take any class that she's teaching just 'cause she's so good.

She works very well with students and she has an amazing way of getting everyone involved. She is awesome at teaching! Dr.Davis is one of the best profs iIve had at BHC.She is very clear as to what she wants out of her students. The book was not used often, but she has simple, understandable power point slides that she uses with her lectures.Very class-involved.Her shirts are hilarious.She actually knows what she is talking about. awesome! i laughed so much in her class, she used humor to associate with what she was teaching. final was a class effort but she could tell who was and wasnt studying. its really nice to have a professor at black hawk that actually wants to teach. she also gives you plenty of opportunities to make up tests and turn in paper. take this class!!!

this is the best BHC teacher ever! she makes the subject very fun and interesting to learn about. Obviously a great instructor. I really appreciated the fact she treated us like adults. Dr. Davis is a very entertaining woman, you will not be bored. To pass the tests you need to read and study the textbook outside of class.

Dr. Davis made learning a subject which I thought would be challenging, fun. I think that her hilarious stories helped me remember her lectures better. For the tests(usually multiple choice) you will have to open the book and read the chapters or you will miss questions. Davis is an awesome teacher and I would recommend her to anybody.

Davis so far is the best prof i've had! She makes her class enjoyable to attend and takes the time to explain her material. She uses alot of examples from her own life and uses some class participation.

Fantastic professor. Notes are presented very clearly and she gives fantastic/funny examples in class. Great teacher that really got me interested in the field of psychology so much that I made it my minor. If I could take a class with her again I would in a heartbeat!

Possibly the greatest teacher i have ever had in my career. Course was extremely easy, not really challenging. However, she keeps class entertaining with a ton of supplemental teaching aids. Youtube videos, anecdotes, experiments, etc. All very relevant to the lesson and interesting for the students. Textbook is very minimally used and you can probably get away with not buying it. Pretty cute, too.

Hands down best professor I've had thus far! Super approachable and understanding with life's issues. Very much respected by me and I will most definitely take another class from her even if it doesn't count towards my degree.

She almost always lets you have an "assist" on the exams (open notes, group quiz, etc). She also lets the class argue what they get wrong on the test. She is amazing! Learned a lot AND had fun!

Davis has very captivating lectures that incorporate humor, education, and relatability. In her Psych 200 class she covers the entire life span and you learn a lot about each phase. Her tests had some trick questions because she has you argue with her about the answers for credit. The tests are a combo of the book and lectures, so study both.

A top 5 professor at Black Hawk. Her classes are very easy to pass and A's are very obtainable too. Not only will you learn about psychology, but she teachers her students to question the world. She puts an emphasis on critically thinking and not being a sheep. Very nice and approachable. Strongly recommend!

Please take this class with Davis. She is the funniest and nicest person you will meet at BHC. Her lectures are very interesting and homework is minimal. Has open book exams. Very laid back. Bonus points if you get her to swear. Seriously, just take the class.

She is an amazing professor. When she says read the chapter, do your self a favor and do it. Will help you with anything you may need. Not very many test and gives you the opportunity to pick what days you want to take your exam. The class overall is easy, but the exams are hard if you don't study, do yourself a favor and study.

I took Davis online summer. It was decent although I would've much rather taken in class setting. Pretty easy class, takes some dedication. Readings were abundant & mostly interesting! Tests can be challenging especially since they are timed and some of them are long. One short paper, chapter quizzes & discussion boards round it out. Easy A overall

I struggled so hard in high school with Psych classes... but Davis made it so easy to understand everything and she even made it fun. I loved this class and wish I could take her again but I don't need anymore of her classes. TAKE DAVIS. SHES GREAT AND SO HELPFUL AND LITERALLY AWESOME!

Not realizing that this class was a step down from Sociology and Psych (both of which I had taken the previous semester), I signed up for this class. It ended up being a long review for me, but I think it would really help prepare students who plan to take psych and sociology classes. She's easy to listen to because she's passionate and relaxed.

She is by far one of the best professors I have ever had. She will bend over backwards to help you. She is clear on what she expects form you. T-Dizzle is one of the most helarious teachers I have ever taken. Come in with a very open mind and read your text. Keep the online thing you get with your books. She has pulled test questions from it.

I love her so much! She checks her emails often, so she answers emails usually within 24 hours. She makes class interesting. A couple of group projects, but they aren't hard and there is a lot of freedom when working on them.

Dr. D provided clear expectations and responded to emails. She graded assignments in a timely manner and provided opportunities to make corrections. I would highly recommend taking a class that Dr. D teaches. She is one of the best instructors at Black Hawk College.

I took Psych 101 online with Dr. D and it was a breeze. There were small discussion posts due every few weeks but it was mostly just sharing your thoughts for some easy points. The midterm paper and final were interesting concepts and were easy to write about. She's a very easy grader and i highly recommend her!
