Always in a great mood and you never feel like your being talked down to. She doesn't collect homework and her tests are very easy if you pay attention in class.

Sets a positive "can do," encouraging attitude. Never makes the students feel small or belittled. Always helpful and fair. She gives her best. Excellent teacher!
So far, I really like this teacher. She is always in a good mood, and is so helpful. She makes you feel comfortable and is very approachable. I don't like math, mostly because of some previous teachers psyching me out. But she makes me feel like it will be OK.
intimidating at first but don't drop the class. She is very good!
This lady rocks! Traci Froncillo is the best math teacher ever! She really wants to help students learn. She spends a tremendous amount of extra time at the math lab helping all who ask for it. She is very encouraging. If you can't learn it from her, just give up because you are not going to get it!
Great teacher. shes funny when she makes up her own problems and they dont work. She doesnt trick you on the tests. shes wonderful... stop reading and sign up for her class.
I got her by accident, but it was the best academic decision I made at TCC. She REALLY cares. She wont move on unless she feels everyone understands. The tests are as simple as they get and she gives partial credit on grading. If she adds something wrong on the board and you point it out the class gets a mark, after 10, the class gets exta credit.
She is definitely a great math teacher. Made math class fun and understandable.
Her class is very very reasonable. She was extremely clear and made the material easy to follow. This coming from someone who was quite rusty at math. Her tests are fairly easy as long as you keep up with the lessons. Shes an extremly nice lady and very approachable. I highly recommend taking her class.
I'VE BEEN TAKING THE CLASS FOR A MONTH AND SHE IS MY FAVE TEACHER AT TCC. SHE IS ALWAYS IN A CHEERFUL MOOD AND DOES NOT MAKE YOU FEEL STUPID LIKE OTHER MATH TEACHERS I HAVE HAD. HER TESTS ARE 10 QUESTIONS, SHORT AND SIMPLE, SHE DOESN'T TRY TO TRICK YOU & YOU GET CANDY ON TEST DAY!

if you want to spend the class hearing about her personal life and watching her mess up a problem 3 times before getting it right, then take her class. she was not a good teacher, and she was unfamiliar with what she was teaching. she spent more time correcting herself than actually teaching us the material.
I got an A and I didn't even do the homework, however, I didn't like her teaching style, goes too fast for other students, and she always messes up on problems. But she is an okay teacher. The test are really easy if you go to review day because she gives you practice problems to study. But she is a very cool teacher.
Really nice lady, but was not a clear instructor.I taught myself by doing the homework, not by learning in class. You must know questions to ask in order to learn. I feel sorry for those who "don't get" math easily. If this is you, take from someone else or plan to spend lots of time in the math lab. BTW, I got an A because tests were fairly easy.
SHE IS ONE OF THE NICEST TEACHERS I'VE HAD, BUT NOT ONE OF THE BRIGHTEST. LIKE SOMEONE SAID IN A PREVIOUS POST, SHE MESSED UP THE PROBLEMS 3 OR 4 TIMES BEFORE SHE GOT IT RIGHT, AND I HAD TO TEACH MY SELF HOW TO DO THE WORK. I LIKED THE WAY SHE GRADED OUR TESTS THOUGH.
Shes an awesome teacher! I was so horrible in math all throughout highschool but I got a high B in her class. Shes willing to work with you at anytime if you need help or have questions about a problem. If you do the homework then you will ace the tests. Keep all your tests because her final exam comes from them, which isn't hard.
Had to "teach yourself in math lab",then you obviously didn't ask questions in class...you're fault...NOT teacher's fault. If need extra help, she is very willing to spend extra time, even outside class. Not all students learn at same pace. It's STUDENTS responsibility to ask questions. Visualize...don't memorize! Definitely recommend her! Go math!
Mrs Froncillo is very helpful and really knows the material. It's not an easy course, but she makes it easy to understand if you do the homework. Come prepared to ask questions. She will go over it until you get it. I agree with visualize don't memorize. Once I learned that, it was easy. She is a great teacher and you should take her if you can.
I hate math, and it's my weakess subject...but she is an awesome teacher. I got an A in this class. She makes it "real" for her sstudents instead of abstract terms. She turns algebra into money and pizza :) If you must take algebra...TAKE HER!!! Great teacher. Also...do your homework if math is not your strong suit, it really does help.
She is a great teacher. She is not always on the ball though. She would make at least one mistake on the board a week. She was very nice and helpful.
Although she makes a lot of mistakes on the board, shes a good teacher. Her grading is very fair. I never do homework, but I do had to study for the test. Tip *Always go to the Review because she puts up example problems on the board that resembles the exams. And just study that* But she was the best math teachers out there at tcc!
This teacher is one in a million !! Probably one of my favorite ever. She wants everyone to do well. She'll give a great test review so you know what to study for, no surprises. If you go to class and do most of your homework you should do very well. Take her you won't be sorry!!!
A great teacher. I never did my homework -- I spent HOURS in the math lab before each test and got an 'A'. This isn't an easy class, but she is a great teacher! I'd take her again in a heartbeat!
She is a great teacher. The material is tough but she makes every class fun. If you want to pass calc take this teacher!!
She was fine at the beginning. No extra credit and she teaches it like you should already know it. I wouldn't recommend it if you need to understand what she is saying. Because you won't.
Not easy. Not hard. Just different. GET THE STUDY GUIDE. Learn the problems she assigns. GET THE STUDY GUIDE. Learn the problems she assigns. GET THE STUDY GUIDE. First test 100. Second test 96. Third Test 90. Fourth dropped. Fifth test 90. Best MTH teacher I have ever had. Highly recommended. Even if I dropped the final and got a B :)
She is a good teacher. I enjoyed her class. Very relaxed class. Homework was optional. Test were similiar to homework problems and problems she worked out on the board.
This instructor loves math and loves to see students learn math. She is personable, down to earth, and a superbly qualified teacher. Oh yes, and hot.
You're better off throwing her instruction straight out the window. Take her, but take all your notes on from the book! Do your homework, study a lot, and get all the tutoring and outside help that you can!
I don't really like math, by far my least favorite subject. I took her for College Alegebra and now again for Precalculus. While I still don't like math, she made it interesting. She loves teaching math. Don't skip homework or class, EVER!! If I had to take additional math classes, I would take as many as possible with her!
she is a nice teacher, she makes mistakes on the bored but she teaches very throughly. she's funny and easygoing. do ur hw, come on review days and you'll pass. class gets boring sometimes but the tests are easy. she doesnt let u out early and she never misses a day.
Good teacher. Don't miss class. Will miss a lot if you do. Her test is pretty much her review. DO YOUR HOMEWORK! If you do, you will ace the tests. She will not give make-up tests. Take her!
Terrible class--Do not take this class if you are not prepared to teach yourself the material. Teacher is ditzy and textbook only gives one example of each type of problem. Little is expected of students and you may pass but beware of being unprepared for higher level math courses. Easy is not always best.
Awesome professor! Do the homework and extra credit and you are fine! She does her best at making the class interesting! I certainly reccommend her!
can't use calculator

Froncillo was an EXCELLENT math teacher. i highly recommend her. DO THE HOMEWORK!! DO THE REVIEWS!! and you will make at least a B. i won't lie - it was a lot of work, but she was always there to help.
GREAT teacher! yes class is hard but if u pay attention and do your hw u will get an A.She gives practice tests that are similar to the real 1s.Was always available when u needed her. If you want to learn CALC take her!
I recommend her. She gives excellent reviews that are exactly like the test so you know what to expect. She is a nice woman with a good sense of humor.
She is a very nice teacher
traci is a very friendly teacher, very down to earth and expects you to do your best. but even she knows you can't do everything right everytime. she's a very sweet woman and very easy on the eyes. 5 tests and a final that counts twice: miss one test, and the final will replace it. the homework is easy if you pay attention.
Very nice & interested in her students succeeding. I ended up teaching myself most of this course though. I did make an A, but worked my tail off to get it. Too fast when working problems on the board and when asked, would show you again at same speed (too fast again). Test reviews were TERRIFIC though and probably the reason I was able to get A
she is a great teacher! she makes mistakes like any normal human being, but you can tell that its probably from all that math knowledge that is constantly going on in her brain. friendly, clear and teaches the material well. test are easy but i love math. ask and she will help. homework is not mandatory.
she is probablly the best math teacher i have ever had!......she cares and wants you to succeed!.....i hope to get her for all my maths!
Great teacher!!! She uses up to date methods you will carry on. Gives review just like the test. Great teacher. I took her for MTH 163. She is a great teacher. Do your homework, not that she grades it. She drops your lowest test grade.
Very friendly, likes to joke. Gives you all the information needed in order to pass her tests.
best math teacher ever! study guides are exactly like the test and home work isn't graded (but recommended in order to understand the work) she's very helpful and willing to go the extra mile with her students. you can tell she cares about her students and not the paycheck!
While this was my second time taking Traci for math, I knew what to expect from her class. It's very straight forward and she will tell you what you need to know the class before the test, so don't miss out any test reviews. Overall, a very good class to take if you need the credit, and a great teacher overall.
GREAT TEACHER! if you're going to take a math take it with her! I took precalc 2 with her and loved her! she is so understanding and is very helpful if you don't understand something. I do recommend you do the homework so you understand everything.
best math teacher ive ever had. Made Calculus fun and easy to learn. She is always willing to help whether in the math lab or in her office. aaaaaannnnndd she is b-e-a-utiful.
It's hard to pay attention in math if it doesnt come to you.....but she makes it easy, fun and understandable.....and her beauty just adds to it!.....I got a B in pre calc 2 and hardly tried!.....highly recommended work your other classes around her!!!!!!.........
SUPER EASY
SUPER EASY (j/k); Challenging subject with likeable prof; Came with 4.0 GPA and was humbled with first TCC "B." Secret to passing class is to show up, do HW, ask lots of ?s, use the math lab, and visit prof in her office (never did this, maybe would have helped me get my "A?"). Test review days were VERY helpful. Need more math profs like her!
Great teacher. Wonderful personality and sense of humor. Goes above and beyond to ensure that her students have every opportunity to succeed. No surprises on tests. Reviews are invaluable. If you don't do well, its on you.
Best math teacher I've had. I have always struggled in math, but she made it easy. All A's on the tests, test reviews matched tests. She's clear and doesn't make you feel stupid. Loved her!
Awesome Teacher! I highly recommend her.
AWESOME TEACHER!!!! I haven't had a math class in a long while and she made things so helpful. She is very informative and knowledgable about the subject. Makes it easy to ask "dumb questions" and is very inviting during her office hours. I wish I had her for all my math classes!!!!!
Great Prof. I was very scared of taking Pre-Calc I but managed to get an "A". Most of the time I understood exactly how she taught things, if not she was available for office hours to explain things. The practice tests are AWESOME and really help with the exams. Mr. Froncillo is friendly and makes math waaay less scary! I'm taking her next sem
Took for for Applied Calc and she is very sweet and helpful, though much of the material she drags the class through can be difficult. She gives ample time to prepare for exams with mock exams that emulate the real thing very well. She genuinely wants to help her students succeed!!! If you want an A, you'll have to earn right through the final!
She explains math well in a simple fashion. She's very personable. She really cares about the student. You just need to show up, do the homework, and study the test reviews. You'll pass if you do all this. I'm taking all the math courses that she teaches. She's awesome!
I took Prof. Froncillo for Pre-Calc I & II. She was is friendly and helpful. Welcomes in-class questions and and always available for office hours if you have ANY problems. The practice tests are extremely helpful!!! I went into my scared and now feel MUCH more confident :)
She is a very nice teacher but her classes drag. Instead of letting class out early she will give all these long examples. One thing that I disliked was she would give problems she even had trouble answering and then put hard problems on the test.
She is a good teacher and explains things well. The beginning of the semester was a good pace, but then it definitely picked up a lot after the 3rd exam. Only grades were 5 exams and 1 cummulative final. You will stay for the whole class for examples. Sample tests are exactly how the actual ones are. Do ALL HOMEWORK or you'll be lost.
took her for the summer. 3hr class, large class. she tries to explain the material, but she looses me in the material. only take her if you a good understanding of math.
Disorganized, usually late for class, and the textbook sucks. If you want someone to teach you the step-by-step method of solving, she is not you teacher. Take Gallo or Bentley if you want to understand the higher level math.
If you have to take a math class that she teaches work your schedule around hers. She is the best teacher at TCC. She only grades based on tests but gives you the study guide before that shows you exactly what type of questions will be on the test. Homework is not collected. She is very clear and gives no useless busy work. Very to the point.
I wish I had her for every Math class I've ever had in life. It would have made my life so much easier. She will always be my favorite Math teacher.
She's the best math teacher I've ever had! She takes Calculus and makes it understandable. You will need to be in class, and do the homework if you want to succeed. She's a sweet lady and really wants to help. Take her if you can!
Mrs.Traci Froncillo is a great Teacher. She has a positive attitude and does not make the material intimidating. Her relaxed fun attitude helped me not to have so much self doubt. She keeps lots of office hours and is always there ready to explain things in more detail. Calculus is allot of work but if you put in the time you can master it!
Love her! Teaches clearly, gives test review, no surprises. Homework is done online and you have plenty of time to get it done. Always willing to answer questions or go over concepts, even if the textbook doesn't because you should have already leaned it previously.
She is extremely nice and I actually do grasp some of the material, but at the same time I prefer Bentley. I guess I'm used to Bentley's teaching methods. It seemed like she couldn't solve the problem half of the time. Unfortunately, I know I failed the class. It was somewhat my fault, but it didn't help that she confused me at times in class.
She rarely knew what section we covered last or when our next trest was. She assigns homework problems on topics that were never covered in class. She goes off on irrelevant tangents and makes upher own problems that never work out to show what she wanted to show. She does provide you with a test review before each test. Tests are your only grade!
She was GREAT! Easily accessible after hours when you needed help. She was great with working problems out on the board and especially when grading tests. Great attitude and loved student interaction.
Traci is awesome. Her explanations are very clear, she makes up her own problems and answers questions kindly. If she's in her office she'll answer all your questions and she's pretty laid back. The tests (for which you have a review) are your only grade and she drops the lowest one.
I like Traci Froncillo. She is passionate about math and you can tell. I found myself relying on MyMathLab and youtube a lot this semester for clarity. I love she gives you shortcuts to figure problems out faster. So I combined all my resources. I'm pretty good at math anyway.Very nice and helpful. I got an A. DO YOUR HOMEWORK!
Great Professor! Be sure to work lots of homework problems and ask questions in class. She loves helping people learn in class or during office hours. She's also very down to earth, funny, and did i mention...BEAUTIFUL!!!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE her! Wish she tought Stats. She breaks everything down so it is much more easier to understand. She gives a study guide that is EXACTLY like the test. Same format of questions, just different numbers. If you hate math, take her, she may change your mind ! (:
Test reviews match the tests.
She is an amazing teacher I would recommend her to anyone taking math.
She dose not explain what will be covered in the chapter. She just dose problems and if you do not know what she is talking about to begin with you will most likely never get it unless you read your book. Also she dose not use my math lab and dose not grade homework so there is no feed back to how you are understanding the material until the test
Let me start by saying that I took this same class last semester with a different teacher and I failed. I actually think I might like math now and I'm positive I will be getting an A this time around. She repeats it constantly.. YOU HAVE TO DO YOUR HOMEWORK.. If you do you will pass! Plus her tests review is identical to the test.. so STUDY!
She likes to do math. She doesn't explain concepts very well, or even at all. She just does problems and expects you to understand it by doing it. She couldn't even really explain what you're trying to do by solving a diff eq. She knows how to get answers and she's pretty lenient on the grading, it just was not my style of learning.
HORRIBLE. DO NOT TAKE HER. TAKE MCKAIG OR BENTLEY! Does not know how to solve any equations correctly, always making mistakes, and has a horrible sense of humor. Never failed a class in my life before I took her for Diff EQ . Took Bentley and got a 'B' so it was definitely the teacher and not the material.
Good teacher. She really knows what shes doing so works really fast through problems in lecture. Homework is on your own and you don't turn it in but you still need to do it to understand the material for tests.
The tests come directly from the study guides. If you do the study guides and participate you will do well.
She's a great professor explains everything and then asks if you need help or a better explanation. Give plenty of opportunity for questions and review if needed. Lots of homework but necessary to become proficient but the work is not graded. Test review is exactly what you see on the test. Tests are 100% of your grade.
Good teacher and fair grader. Tells you from day one if you don't do the homework, you won't pass this class. Pretty straight forward. Explains steps well but expects you to know pre-requisite math. 100% of grade comes from tests and final exam. Do your homework and ask questions and you can easily pass with an A and understand the material.
I am terrible at math and ended this class with a B. She is an amazing teacher & as long as you do the test review (only 10 questions most of the time) you'll get 5 extra Credit points on your test. She does give homework, but it isn't graded & she doesn't check it, it is only to help you. She's a great teacher & as long as you try you will do well
She gives you review guides for every test and if you show her a completed one on review day she gives you extra points. Also, the review guides are basically the tests so if you study those you should be fine.
She shows a great understanding of the subject, but she teaches us her own way which is nothing like anything online or the book. She doesn't follow along with the way the book solves problems which makes it difficult to use the book as a reference (It's garbage anyway). Other teachers don't understand her methods She gets herself confused.. argg
Ms. Froncillo is one of the best teachers that I've ever had on this campus. Her lectures are really informative and she's always willing to answer your questions. She only grades tests, so it's important to complete your homework so that you get sufficient practice. I wish I could take her for all of my calculus classes.
She's a great teacher, she will help you understand a problem if you don't understand it
She is the absolute worst professor I have ever had. She does not teach the material clearly enough and often gets her own problems confused. Sucks at explaining things and the homework doesn't help. I got tutoring and that didn't even help. She grades you on 5 exams, no extra credit. Her study guides are not at all like the exams. Don't do it man.
She is a great professor who cares for her students. For a math class, this was an EASY A. TAKE HER! Homework isn't a requirement but it is assigned. It is up to you on how you go about it to pass the course. All I did was some of the homework and really study the test reviews and NEVER MISS A CLASS. Always ask questions if you don't get it!
Final exams at TCC are normally two hours but she gave a four hour exam that took four hours to complete. Scientists have found that we are supposed to focus for no more than two hours. No wonder why most people did poorly. Avoid!
If you want to teach yourself, take a class with Mrs. Froncillo. This professor is easily confused, unorganized, and has high expectations for her students. Also, she isn't able to get through entire lessons because she's easily distracted and goes on tangents about concepts outside of our subject. Don't waste your time or money.
Very good teacher and always ready to answer questions or review problems, even outside class. Lots of homework assigned bc you NEED to practice to get the concepts down, but she doesn't check for completion. Graded only by a few tests but forgiving w/ partial credit. Tends to make small mistakes in her arithmetic, so make sure to call it out early
The class is easy. I am usually good with math, so this class wasn't hard for me. The professor had google chat available. So if you have any questions about your homework, you can always reach her. However, the pace of class might be too fast for some of the students. I wish we have the chance to have practice questions done by ourselves while in
Unorgainized. Teacher was easily confused and had to be corrected by other students in class. Mean score of class was 64.93 in a class of 21 students. Very hard to understand. 6 tests and a final. Drops the lowest test.
This class was alright. I had to clarify a lot of things with outside resources, although she does make herself very accessible and that is great. Linear algebra is weird conceptually and the textbook and lectures had pretty shallow explanations. Her exams were very simple so long as you put in the effort. Just ask questions and you'll be ok
She often gets confused at her own problems and students correct her most of the time. Numerous students are are already failing, swapping and dropping classes. Half of the time, no one really knows what's going on and they teach themselves for hours.
I took her all online class and had a terrible experience and would not recommend her to anyone. She is a VERY tough grader and does not offer any extra credit and some of her study guide answers are straight up wrong. Her response time is somewhere around 2-5 days and don't bother asking for extra help because she won't provide anything useful.
She is an excellent teacher and a wealth of information. She gives out a ton of homework, but it's all required for the test. You will be graded using five tests and one final exam. Extra credit is not available, and there is no established format for grading her test. But bear in mind that it is not a simple A. I'd advise taking her class.
If you want to learn calculus, do NOT take her class. Lectures are disorganized and she often gets confused with arithmetic. Grades are based on 5 difficult tests with no extra credit. She expects you to know much of the material already and won't offer explanations.
I literally loved her class. She made math fun while making complex concepts seem easy. She grades pretty easy too, you just need to do all of your homework and be prepared to take notes for lecture. I would definitely take her class again. She is also so funny, and she lets classmates work on homework problems together. Great class.
Ms. Froncillo is an amazing instructor. She knows the material and has a great talent for teaching and explaining the different subjects in ways that the students can understand and relate to real life problems. Calculus is not an easy class, but she gives all of the guide to be successful in it, and she is supportive along the way. Is just on you.
Hard to understand what she is trying to teach, expects certain topics to be known already even if you have been out of school for a while, and when asked for help I was told to just drop the class. She did make videos which are easier to understand but overall not a great teacher.
Awful teacher. I have to self teach my self everything because she is so confusing.
Have fun teaching everything to your self because you aren't going to understand anything she is saying. My only saving grace were the test reviews that she does.
Calculus with Professor Froncillo can be challenging, but unstuckstudy and the textbook are great study aids. Attend lectures and work hard - it's worth it to learn the material well.
Traci is an exceptional professor and is the most important teacher I've had in my life. I've taken a few classes with her, and while her workload is substantial and her classes are challenging, if you put in the work, you'll do just fine. She does minimal review, so make sure you have time to brush up on old material
One of my favorite professors I've ever had, very disappointed I won't be able to take her for applied calculus. She cares about the success of her students, has a clear grading criteria, and as long as you do the homework and ask questions about it in class you'll get an A easily.
