I had her for an online class. She was so unhelpful in the first week I dropped the class because of her attitude!
She wants her students to really appreciate and understand the subject. Very open to student suggestions. If you are in it for the grade, don't take her classes. If you really want to learn something, she's a good teacher.
I like how Traci doesn't make memorizing facts the focus of the class. I learned a lot of interesting things and read some very interesting books in her class.
The weekly tests are easy and are 1/2 of grade. 2 lowest test scores thrown out and can take each test twice. There is no reason not to get full credit on the tests. However, the 2 papers require lots of reading and are tough to get an A. Also 1/2 grade.
Traci is a very easy teacher. The online quizzes make is so you don't even have to go to class. You have the book right in front of you the whole time, so there is no way to get a bad grade. I reccomend her to anyone.

Enjoyed her history class very much, and two years later she took the time to write to the dean of WOU describing the class so I didn't have to take an extra class just for "Diversity" credits. Way to go out of her way for a student!
Took two classes from her I liked it that much! She's clear and concise in her expectations. Sets up a good foundation for US History.
For on online class, it's pretty difficult. Most online classes at CCC don't require much work. If you just need a history credit, take one of the 110, 111, or 112 classes online from Mike Balyo. They're much easier. For her class, EVERYTHING is an essay. The midterm, the final, the final paper, you have to read a book too on the side. Busy work
I liked this class but a lot of reading
I liked this class but its alot of reading
She is a very helpful teacher. Due dates are very easy to understand and remain constant throughout the semester. I truly enjoyed taking her class and plan to take another history class with her. My class is online, and she was great about contacting students with any problems they may have. Lots of busy work, but what do you expect in history?
Highly dissapointed with the online class I took with Traci. She has a very know-it-all attitude that is a complete turn off. Assignments and quizzes were adequate, but discussions are little more than forced regurgitation of information. One quiz had 2 compound essay questions with a 20 min. time limit! Avoid if possible!
Took this class online and found it adequate. Yes one of the quizzes had two essay questions and their was a 20 min. time limit but there where only six questions on the quiz. If you do your reading, and there is allot, then you will be fine. I wish some more examples of what she was looking for in a paper where available. Not all of us have ta
While Tracy knows her stuff there are only 100 points available in the class so missing 10.1 points for an entire term gets you a B. She thinks this is a 400 level class instead on the 200 level it is supposed to be. If you want to learn history inside and out take her class, trying to get in a program and grades count, don't take Tracy.
Very nice teacher, easy class if you do the reading. Gives you a great study guide for every quiz. Very straight-forward with due dates. Great class.
Personally, I can't stand Traci. She is a good teacher and very helpful, but the way she speaks to her classes grates on my nerves. She acts like her students are in first grade, and her voice is extremely high pitched and uuugh! I get a headache every day listening to her. tests are HARD (even for a straight A student) Can't stand her!
She knows her stuff, but she seems clueless how to represent herself in a classroom. She treats the class like they're little kids, when she is the one acting like a little kid. She needs to chill out, and then maybe will appreciate her lectures more.
She is boring and hardly anything she goes over, is in the textbook, so you can't actually study for it later.
She comes off as arrogant. When she asks students for input, she always has to have the last word. It seems like she doesn't want to be out done.
I had her in an online class so I can't speak about her personality, but I do think it's wrong to say she is overly difficult or unfair. Yes, she's strict about due dates and each assignment carries alot of weight on the grade, BUT, the assignments were entirely reading and writing oriented, plus tests. Trust me, there are harder tasks than that.
She requires real work to obtain a good grade - I rarely have to study for classes, but I definitely needed to with her. She grades hard, but fairly. Definitely do not take her classes if you're looking for something easy, but do take her classes if you want to learn and really earn your grade. Quirky, good teacher.
Traci is a wonderful teacher. Homework exams are written every monday, and all tests are written as well. If your like me and you like too write rather than to do scan'trons, this is a great learning environment for you. She's interactive and really puts her heart into the subject.
Awesome teacher and class. Just dont forget about the weekly questions, easy points.
Online Class: Print out the online lectures and write out the answers to the study questions as well as underlining the key sections in the lectures you printed out. The midterm and final are a lot of work, but write out at least 4 out of the 5 essays completely. The worst part of the class is the tests. Be ready before taking them.
She doesn't have the expertise on American history that you'd expect from someone with a PhD in that field. Nevertheless, she's not a bad instructor. She's about what you'd expect of a community college instructor: friendly, relatively knowledgeable on the subject, treats her students like they're still in high school and helpful.
This teacher is NOT a man-hater! (she hates everbody) she is rude to her students to the point of being unprofessional, telling them to "remember who has the power in this relationship". She bereated several students for their messages, when I could see no insult at all. This teacher is just not worth it!
Passionate, creative, and a wonderful instructor.
Tracy seems to enjoy history quite a bit and knows a lot about it. However, she treats her students like they're high schoolers and rebukes anyone who disagrees with her. She thinks she knows more about history than anyone else. Don't take a class from Tracy if you're hoping to get an A.
worst experience ive ever had with an online class. She definitely thinks she is always right and its almost impossible to get an A on any of her tests even with having the book and lectures right in front of you. I sent her an email about a grade on a test and got a rude and condescending response! I wouldnt recommend her to anyone
This instructor is biased. She doesn't allow any research other than where she says. She gives an impossible amount of work for an online class. I would never reccomend her.
This professor should rethink her approach to online classes. Her interactions with students are appalling: condescending and unsympathetic. Many of her typed lectures have formatting errors with foreign characters and percent symbols (difficult to make sense of). She should know that her students are eager to learn and deserve her respect.
I was excited for this class...but what a let down. There are huge syntax issues with how she phrases questions. It's almost unrelenting; does she even want her students to succeed? Also, she could be more encouraging.
Abrasive yet professional. Has high expectations for you cause she wants you to learn. If you are sensitive about your feelings and get butt hurt she is not your teacher. Especially if you are one of those clowns the spend all of class on your phone. IF you want to learn and get a good grasp on history she is the bomb.
Tedious. She wants a regurgitation of the textbook and is not interested in personal opinions or experience. Everything is cut-and-dry, and not engaging whatsoever. She is unprofessional because of her abrasiveness; the two do not go together! Rude and disrespectful even in simple interactions. Not worth it- and I looked forward to this course!
For an online class, the experience was fairly awful. Other students' postings are correct: she is abrasive and not personable. Expect this course to be unnecessarily rigid and demanding. Also, almost every student's feedback for the final paper was the same. She expects the same, easy-to-grade paper from every student.
She is a talented teacher, but her expectations are so outlandish. Expects full attendance yet gives high grades to people that are never there. What other teacher will tell you, you are wrong for your opinion in a paper when the facts support it. You CAN and WILL learn from her but it is painful.
Very difficult class.. I have two children, two jobs, and took an online class hoping it would more flexible. Turns out that's not the case. I'm up until 2 in the morning minimum trying to read(which you MUST do to pass tests)/watch videos (1-3hours min.)/complete homework. There have been nights where I'm up until 7am. It was very stressful.
Rude. Expects you to know the information before that class lecture. New flash, I am not an expert on history, that is why I took this class. Never again will I take her classes, nor do I recommend her.
Took HST 201-203 online. Follow the directions and you'll get the grade. Videos in online lectures are often interesting and the class is laid out clearly.
Wants you to give 12hrs a week to the class! Tons of work, rude, if you ask for help or question something tells you to look in syllabus. Work itself not hard but a LOT of it. I would not recommend parents (like myself) to take this class.
Her grading system is very rigid. Weekly quizzes and she works straight from the book with no emphasis on trying to make the class interesing/fun. Would not recommend her.
Very smart and knows what she's talking about most times. Can be very rude, but has an interesting sense of humor that for some reason i liked. Must actually do hw and understand to pass. not too many large assignments. If you're bad at notetaking, this is not for you. Just talks the whole time and sometimes chooses at pplrandom

Traci is a very organized, intelligent and commanding teacher. As long as you take notes (A LOT), and do the reading you'll do fine. She lets you prepare in advance for the final, and use notes on the daily quizzes. She can be harsh/rude, but if you let her know that you care about your grade she'll help you out, but call you out if you're slacking.
This class was frustrating. She wants the final paper to be a simple formula-written paper so don't try to be fancy. Her reviews of your paper are audio and sound VERY rude and scathing, which upsets me. A brusque person. Liked the class content. Tests were too picky, asking things you'd find in one tiny line in text and it didn't feel relevant.
As many before me have said, she can be quite abrasive. That being said, there is not another history professor that knows the material like her. She is SO passionate about history it creates interest. Her tests aren't hard people, nothing that isn't on the study guide will be on the test. Do the work, you'll get an A. I skipped quizzes and got a C
One of my favorite teachers ever! She is very helpful, giving you the quiz questions before hand and mid-term and final question, she even tells you how to have your papers formatted and what she is looking for. She is a hard grader, but you will learn a lot. She is also funny and will help you when ever needed. I highly recommend her!
Worst teacher I have had at CCC. Her grading does not make sense, she gives the wrong lectures for where we are currently in the textbook, she has way too many rules for assignments, she eats during class, and I've called her out for teaching inaccurate information. I wish I could drop this class. I'm afraid her teaching will ruin my 4.0.
she is by far the worst teacher i have ever had. not ony i she cnfusing but her lass is a ecture with little to no involvement with the students. if you dont have your enegery drink to stay awake you might want to. how e is a teacher is beyond me and she doesn know facts about what she eaches, fyi traci goats are native to america.
Traci is one of those intructors you can never totally please. I would say it is near impossible to receive an A In her class or on major assaignments. She will always cut you just under. Any clairfication questions you ask are looked down on in her attitude. The text book reading is more interesting than her lectures. Little to no involvement.
Easy on the grading. Tough on the feedback.
I read a few of the other post on her and think, wow. She is tough on the criticism of you work but is easy on the grading. I am taking her next class hst202, because I know what to expect what is needed for an A. Come on people she let's you you do your final at home and bring it in on test day. You just got to do a little extra work.
Lectures are disenchanting, Feedback on assignments is rare. Responses to questions are inattentive ("refer to the assigned material, refer to syllabus") sums up most interaction a student can expect. Midterm and Final essay assignments are ridiculous! required to prepare 5 outlines prior to test. Then, create an essay from one in about 40 min.
Traci is very passionate about history and that makes her class very enjoyable. She really wants her students to understand the material throughly. She does what ever she can to make sure her students are successful. Before our midterm we played a game to quiz us on the material, it was a fun light hearted game that everyone participated in.
If you love history you will love Traci. Her entire history classes, HST 201-203 are a must take. She is very clear and precise with her lessons and very easy to understand. Once you get the knack of her lessons, you should be able to pass the class. Pay attention to the essay questions on the tests. She is very strict with her structure.
I took history this whole entire year from Ms. Hodgson, HST 201-203. I passed each trimester with an A. She is hard on your essay questions for the tests but if you answer the question with your essay response, you will be just fine. If you love history this class will be easy for you. If you hate history, good luck.
Horrible. She thinks that grading means looking for wrong answers. Grading means gauging levels of understanding. If a student clearly understands the content but had one incorrect word in an essay than give them a break. If you want an A. Be perfect. Less than that and you will be hoping for a low B.
Traci does not sugar coat U.S History which is something I really enjoy. Also important she gives you a link to download the TEXTBOOK FOR FREE. She is pretty tough with grading, but if you take notes and pay attention the quizzes will come easy. The midterm was also easy, as she provides a study sheet. I would take another class with her.
Not recommended. Lectures are way too long and test grading criteria are way too harsh. Just avoid it if you think you are good student, she will make you think again.
She really cares about what she's teaching and it shows through her lectures!
One of the BEST teachers I've ever had. She does tons of "hands on" learning. I wouldn't say it's an easy class, but it's one that I actually learned and will remember the content discussed. She is SO PASSIONATE about history, it makes the learning WAY more interesting.
I took 2 of Traci's US History classes, and got 'A's in both. After taking her online HST203 course, I decided to take 201 with her. Her format is well thought out & engaging, & there are no surprises. I see complaints here about her essay expectations. I found only the midterm/final exam essays to be difficult; others, not much. Great teacher.
If you want a professor passionate about what she teaches - Traci is it! She makes history come alive, takes a very academic view, and doesn't sugar coat past events. It's a pretty tough class, but she will help you in whatever way she can. I would highly recommend this class.
Average teacher, good feedback on essay questions in test. Not too harsh on grading either. Layout was easy to follow, expectations were clear. 9 sections, with a discussion question and a test for each section. Tests were 30 minutes, timed. Discussions were based on 1-hour documentaries, free online textbook. Midterm & final were heavily weighted.
lots of bad, the class is supposed to be on u.s. history yet she taught half the class on natives. after 10 weeks of listening to her talk about her self in the third person, as she taped her lectures, we ended just on the other side of the revolutionary war. its easy to pass her class but you will never get a A.
Very passionate about what she teaches and gets into "character" to make it easier to learn. She was a great instructor and appeals to all different types of learning, such as visual. Weekly quizzes about the chapter in the book, midterm/final were long and short essays. Reading assignment where you have to write a paper about the book.
Traci Hodgson is one of the best teachers I've ever had!! She is brilliant and keeps lectures interesting. I have never learned so much in a history course. She is really helpful in giving feedback on essay content and test answers. She cares so much about what she does, and is very clear on what she expects. 10/10 recommend.
WARNING! She asks daily questions. Listen to her in class and answer in small essay form. Midterm and final takes those questions 6 of them will be on test you must answer 4, no notes! Exception is you can answer all of them (about 20) and bring them to class to turn in. Hope this forewarning helps someone.
Oh my, this instructor is one you need to be careful about. I took her even after reading the comments made about her here. She only offers 100 pts total in the class and doesn't offer extra credit. She's very strict and wants things done in a certain way. But besides that, I found her reading lectures to be so amazing. I think that's what made
I've taken Traci three times because I absolutely love her classes! She is very passionate about what she's teaching. There's A LOT of reading involved, and the discussion assignments are also time consuming. Several units of reading per chapter, plus reading from the book. There's a lot of work, but if you put in the time, you'll definitely pass.
Does not give direct feedback, so you're pretty lost when it comes to getting a direct answer back. Not a good structured online class. Wouldn't take this professor again. Not a hard grader, so can get an easy A--But you won't learn much.
Traci is not a good online teacher at all. She is very strict in her grading and will dock points if she doesn't like the way something is done, without telling you this is the beginning. She provides a rubric for essay grading, but doesn't follow these and includes her own personal opinions on them. I will not take a class from her again. Ever.
Traci is not a good teacher at all. She grades based on wether or not she likes you and treats her students as if they are two years old. She grades much too hard with no previous direction and is not helpful. Do not recommend.
Traci is very knowledgeable about what she teaches, is well organized, and has clear expectations. YOU MUST READ CAREFULLY IF YOU WANT AN A. There are textbook readings and other assigned readings, followed by a quiz and a discussion every week. If you work hard and read everything carefully, you can get an A. I skipped some readings and got a B
This class was pretty easy, you have to read a full chapter out of the textbook every week and take a timed quiz every Monday, and you also have to read a book to write a paper on. Its a lot of reading and she talks the whole class period, but her midterm and final are somewhat easy considering she lets you prepare the essay questions before hand.
She treated the class like we were back in high school. Writing assignment every week, but as long as you followed the instructions you will get a good grade. Don't need to read the book. Doesn't help you in class or the assignments.
She has a chapter or two to read from an online textbook with a timed online quiz.. She has a power point she shows, but there are only pictures, and no words. You have to take good notes in class to know the answers of "today's questions" which make up the final and midterm. She is very petty and holds grudges.
Very rude.
I love history, always have. Traci clearly does too, and she knows history. That being said, I would NOT recommend her. Her quizzes are ridiculous. She did the classic "ask a question, give 3 correct answers, one might be slightly more correct and if you don't guess that one, you get it wrong" Ridiculous. She also seemed annoyed when I emailed.
so, i really wanted to like this class and this teacher, but by the end of the term i found my self dreading just being there each day. the class material it's self was interesting but that probably where the positives end. I had this instructer in person and i feel that the test book was more usfull then attending her classes.
Tracis class is not as hard as everyone is saying. There is lots of reading to do, but its because of the subject. Womens studies has to focus on how women have been pushed aside and underprivileged since the beginning of time. It covers a lot! There are weekly assignments, and she is an easy to moderate grader. Loved her lectures. I recommend!
I love her!!!
If you're going to take WS101 class HIGHLY advise taking it online. Class has all the hw assignments layed out, even exams. They don't take long to do and can be done weeks before they're due. You will use the textbook for hw, and it's all based on writing so take a writing class prior to WS.
While Traci was available if I ever emailed her, I found this class to be really frustrating because all of the material was NOT current. It is fall 2019 as I write and we used a textbook published in 2011. Many outside sources (documentaries, especially) were from 2013-15. In a class where current events matter, this is unacceptable.
My class may have been easy to pass, but it was not easy being there as Traci wouldn't be very respectful towards students. My fellow peers and I have all received often short and snappy comments from her. I know timeliness matters, but often times when people were one or two minutes late, they'd get shade thrown on them from her.
This instructor talks down to her students and is very unforgiving when it comes to late assignments. Based on the interactions I had with this instructor over email and from reading her responses to other students online, it is apparent that she is a rude person. Also, if you rely on Quizlet to help you with studying, do not take HST 269.
She's simply the worst professor I've ever had. She treats her students like they know nothing and thinks she knows everything. Super strict and terrible feedback on assignments. Don't recommend!!
I don't know why, but I hated this class and her style of teaching. She has so much small busy work and I found it really dumb, pointless, and boring. I get that corona and what not changes stuff, but there are still ways to be nice to your students and not act all high and mighty even in a simple email. Genuinely hated every single part of it.
Professor Hodgson is a solid professor. If you follow the syllabus and take her advice to read what you need to you will have a great time in class. She also requires you to participate in class, so do your work and you won't be surprised when she randomly calls on you to speak. She has great lectures and the class is very interesting.
as a person 5/10, as a teacher 2/10 She talks down to her students, assigns a bunch of little busy work, responds to emails quickly, must attend zoom class (worth 3 points each class), acts high and mighty, quizzes were short (less than 10 questions) but had some essay answers, homework is easy just unnecessary and a waste of time. it's a no for me
Basically this class is one quiz a week, one documentary summary a week, and two quizzes each for the midterm and final. I honestly didn't read anything until I clicked on the quiz. It's really simple if you're looking for a filler class.
Incredibly rude teacher throughout the class. Many students would simply ask questions and she would put them down for it, which is hilarious since most of the class is about how to have healthy student-professor interactions. I personally got an A in the class and even when she gave me a solid grade on the final she said I ignored her instructions
I took this class online, Winter term '21, due to Covid. I felt this class had a fair amount of work, but its college so its expected. If you make sure to read all required readings, watch weekly Docs, do the weekly discussions post, and ask for help when you struggle, you will do fine. Traci is helpful, easy to talk to, and wants to help students.
I don't know whether it was because this was an online course, but she never gave feedback unless she commented "ok" on a discussion post. She doesn't provide much help if you ask a question, and makes it seem like you were "dumb" for asking the question. Much like many other students said, she just overall does not treat her students well.
Be prepared to type out seven different outlines for the final just to receive a low B (if that). Words test questions so similarly that sets students up for failure. Not only that but she is incredibly disrespectful. She is hands down the worst professor at CCC and would not recommend her. Don't bother to ask her questions either.
Awful teacher, treats her students like they are dumb. shes rude and disrespectful really shouldnt teach. Never has communication with students. During my zoom class with her she will caught of students from talking and pretty much call them dumb in front of everyone. She should not be allowed to be a teacher
This class was extremely simple. Read the chapter, take the quiz (3 attempts), and do the discussion post for the week. The discussion is simple and actually the most fun part of the class because it usually involves watching a good documentary and posting about it. 3 grades: Quizzes, Discussions, and a final project (short paper)
I took her class remotely and although you do have to talk at least once every class the subjects we talk about is the homework that is due right before class. If you are not a fan of homework I would not take her class. Her class taught me a lot. And if you want a teacher who actually teaches history I would take her class.
The class was not too difficult. Just be ready to read at least 10 pages from the textbook throughout the week. The assignments were easy but not too easy usually it was watching a video of some sorts or listening to a podcast and writing a summary or answering specific questions. The quizzes were open book too.
This was a pretty straightforward class. You have a discussion post each week that covers a documentary, you give feedback, and you take the weekly quiz which you get three tries on. The final wasn't super daunting and it's something that you can be creative with. We didn't have Zoom, but she kept us up to date with any news/changes.
Weekly quizzes with unlimited tries 100%. Biweekly discussions. No midterm just final project (you choose format) Only 3 discussions in summer course so DONT MESS UP ONE DISCUSSION. One 33% dropped my grade from 100% to a 87%. She is also not flexible/negotiable with makeup/extra credit work so DONT MESS UP ONE DISCUSSION. Final was easy got an A.
If you're looking for an easy course, this one is for you! I loved taking Traci's class, HST202. I learned a lot about history from 1800 to the 1900s that I didn't know before.
Prof. Hodgson's class was easy to follow along. There was a weekly quiz (3 tries) based on a chapter in the textbook, weekly activity that was discussed in class, and class participation was graded as well. The final consisted of reading a book (from her list) and then writing and essay or creating a presentation based on a question about the book.
Prof. Hodgson's class was easy to follow. A weekly quiz (3 tries) based on a chapter in the textbook, weekly activities discussed in class, and class participation was also graded. The final consisted of reading a book (from her list) and writing an essay or creating a presentation based on a question about the book.
Hodgson is a good person overall, just be ready to do work. This class has a lot of assignments, just keep in mind they are simple assignments. Attendance is a must, you'll be graded on attendance, luckily she drops two days you miss and will drop two assignments with the lowest grade. One tip I have is to go to class engaged.
This class has a weekly quiz with three tries and a discussion post with a minimum of two replies. Midterm and final were both small papers written off a prompt she gave, both short with clear grading criteria. Overall this class was really easy but also fun to learn about. Traci is not involved much but its an online and is a good instructor.
If you can take this class with someone else, do it. Though she seemed nice, she was a stupid hard grader and her criteria for assignments were not clear at all. I spent hours on assignments and would cheer if I got a 60% because even that was hard. Also, you only get one attempt for quizzes and they are waited very high for your final grade.
Traci yaps and yaps the entire almost 2-hour class, she gives you a 5-minute break but sometimes cuts it short. She will also excuse you from class 5 minutes late almost every time. She is extremely test-heavy and almost wants you to fail her tests. The median on our midterm was 72%, it was awful I barely passed with an 81 percent B on it.
Hilarious is used facetiously. She is an incremental grader, takes off fractions of points for arbitrary reasons. The prompts for our short essays were not clear or flat out bad. Very short in her replies and comes off as annoyed. Feedback was not my favorite. I enjoyed the topics, not the instructor.
Weekly quizzes were based on the textbook, but her lectures were not based on the textbook at all. She wrote the quizzes based on her memory and she would put in an incorrect answer and would not offer makeups. Does not offer clear grading criteria. Seemed annoyed while teaching. Rude for no reason.
Uses copy/paste rubric without reading her own guidelines. Waits weeks to grade work. Expect no feedback. Arbitrary removal of points.
If you actively participate in class and put forth an effort, the class is very easy. If you show up to lectures and sit on your phone, don't pay attention, and expect a free class, you're in the wrong place. Long lecture, tests are only done on what you learned in class (don't google answers for midterm/final).
Mrs. Hodgodson is extremely good at yapping, every class with her is extremely boring and extremely hard to follow along. That being said if you do somehow pay attention then I'm sure you will do fine in this class. Her midterm and final are both around 100 paragraphs prepared or 8 paragraphs written during the test with no notes.
Professor Hodgson was alright. Her lectures are a lot of yapping sometimes, and you're gonna have to do a lot of reading for this class. But she is mostly nice and wants you to succeed in her class, as long as you treat her with the same respect. Not a terrible class but I probably wouldn't take it again.
Traci's class was manageable with the help of resources like Unstuck AI. Quizzes were based on the textbook, but lectures went beyond it. Clear grading criteria would have been appreciated. Overall, an interesting topic, if not the instructor's teaching style.
Rude for absolutely no reason, generally disrespectful and full of herself. You'd think she wasn't teaching a joke course at a nothing college. But she is, she is indeed.
Attendance is not required, but I highly recommend going since so much information is given during the lecture. The instructor is very passionate about history and very knowledgeable; she will answer all the questions very informatively. A quiz is due weekly with the reading. Final projects, midterms, and finals are all heavily graded.
Mostly follows basic online class structure. A week's work consists of the reading, a quiz, and a written out assignment that typically took only about 2 hours a week. No midterm, but the final is big and timed. She graded my final very harshly and did not have good feedback at all. As long as you keep up with the class, it is an easy pass.
we have a quiz every Wednesday and a big assignment due on Fridays which takes 3 hours total. She is fine but I think there are better teachers
If you are an English major, you'll love this professor. She grades so harsh on assignments that take up to 4 hours per assignment every week. No resubmissions. No matter what I did she would find ways to lower my scores on assignments. One final thing: A sentence containing a semicolon is ONE sentence, not two. Find another teacher.
Teaches outlandish historical inaccuracies as fact, i.e. asserts that South Americans consented to forced copulation with colonists. Random point deduction. Expect revised history in this class. No advice given after grading. Poorly planned class structure, expect little to be related between study materials and homework.
