She was a good instructor with good lectures but her take home tests are a ****. They are very hard and take about 3 hrs to complete.

This is one intelligent lady! She showed an immense willingness to help her students and definitely seemed to care about them. The class was not EASY by any means but there was ample opportunity given for generous extra credit and Traci was always available to help students with concepts no matter how many times one asked!

Traci is the bomb!! Take ANY Psych class with her. She is really great...the tests are hard but she gives you plenty of homework points and BS points on the tests so it's really hard to not get a good grade. And you learn so much and have fun while doing it. Psych is my major so it was refreshing to have a class like this for once. I got an A!

Had her for 2 classes. It takes some time to get use to the way she teaches but she is awesome. Ask questions, she is very helpful.

I have never had a teacher take time out to help more than her it is evident that she cares. Traci is an awesome teacher, her test are very hard though. She also has a large vocabulary so listen closly.

Loved her. Really down to earth and easy to talk to. She uses ALOT of big words and it's kind of hard to get use to the she lectures at first. But if you focus on the concepts and use the study guides you'll do fine on the tests. She gives lots of extra credit which makes it an easy A if you try.

She uses very a lot of psych terms and large words I wasn't familiar with. Other than that she will take as much time as she needs to answer any question you may ask her which was very helpful.

The class was very hard to take online very time consuming. The tests were very difficult to figure out what the correct answers are.

I'm shocked to see negative reviews here. She gives you every opportunity to succeed in this class. You have to do the work, if you do, an A shouldn't be a problem. SHE PROVIDES DETAILED STUDY GUIDES FOR EVERY TEST! If you don't use them or complete them....it's your fault. I plan to take every class I can with her.

I love Tracy even though I failed her class because I thought it was hard! Her tests are killer if you don't listen but she's funny cute and is awesome in general knows what she's doing

Traci is a very nice person, down to earth, but her exams are no picnic! However, if you do the assignments they pay off plus she drops the lowest test grade and does offer extra credit!

Traci's lectures are very psychology vocab based. Word choices were confusing for others that were taking the course. She gives you an booklet at the beginning of the semester. Most quizzes and exams are based on the book. Read your chapters and pay attention in class, and you will do fine. She is really fun and great to chat with.

Hard class but a good teacher. She helps her students and her lectures are not that confusing. Her tests are hard, but she gives you a study guide with everything on it. She also lets you use your notes on some tests. I liked her.

One of the best teachers I've ever had. If you do the work it is impossible not to learn. She makes you use your own independent critical thought to understand the topics by writing about them in your own words, which can be hard~some don't like that. I thought it was a great class and She's by far tops out of the psych dept. here. Great Teacher

Traci is passionate and personable. She lectures and writes her tests in grown up language (hard for some). However, her quizzes are taken in groups, her exams have great curves. Writing assignments are few and easy. Most the work is at the beginning of the semester so you can "coast through finals" (her words). Provides study guide for exams.

Very nice instructor. if you have a crisis she wont mind you leaving class. will give quizzes after going over every chapter. Tests are usually straight forward, will almost always have 1 essay question pertaining to lecture so paying attention is mandatory. will provide printed out notes and a study guide. fill it out and you will survive.

Very good instructor, no need to get the book since she gives you all the notes. If you go to class and listen, you will know what is going on. No group projects, no lengthy papers.

Traci is a great teacher, you don't need to get the book since she gives you packets for the class (book might be helpful to have), lots of random quizzes that I don't care for but they aren't hard only 10 questions. Lectures are interesting and she wants to get to know you.

Traci is by far one of the sweetest professors I've ever had and clearly cares about her students. Her class was more difficult than I was expecting but if you fill out the study guide packet for every chapter and actually study it then you will do just fine! But you definitely need the book for it because the slides are kind of all over the place

Traci is a good teacher. Don't understand all the negative reviews.. Study the quizzes and the chapter reviews in the packet and you'll be all set. Be sure to read the chapter before class.. Quizzes are straight from it. She also grades on a curve for most exams. Really personable and nice. Would take again.

She is such a sweet teacher! And she is very nice and helpful. The tests are long but that's how it is for every online class. I would recommend her.

She has a lot of quizzes but is a great teacher. Her lectures are interesting and fun. I recommend her to everybody. And she is not a hard grader.

I usually don't like my teachers, but she's AMAZING. She's really laid back and gives extra credit often. If a quiz is out of 14, there a 90% chance she'll make it out of ten and give the other ones as extra credit. Even the tests are curbed in your favor. Honestly the people who failed either didn't have the textbook or never did study guides.

She is an amazing professor. She is very helpful and is easy to reach outside of class, although she says the book is needed i made it through the course just fine without one. She gives little homework, the test are sometimes difficult but she usually throws out multiple questions the classes didn't do well on. Final is all True or False.

Really nice woman, gave a TON of extra credit. Even our tests were curbed. Also helped you catch up if you were gone.

Traci is a wonderful professor. I never enjoyed psychology until I took it with her. Always so welcoming and really cares about her students. Tests are tough if you don't study. Everything is curved! I would take her again.

Dr. Sacteleban is an extremely articulate and knowledgable teacher--she not only covers the subject matter, she also instills critical thinking and logic skills. These skills have proven invaluable in every walk of my life. I cannot suggest her enough!

I loved Professor Traci. She really let us engage in class together. I wasn't scared to ask questions or see her after class. Tests are clear and make sure when preparing for tests, to read over the quizzes she gives and ALWAYS do the study guide she puts on Blackboard.

She is very knowledgeable. She is also excellent with communicating with students. But the best part about her is that she teaches, and teaches the subject objectively. She does not force her views on to the class, and keeps the discussion focused on psychology.

She is a great teacher! I personally did not do the study guides, because they were a waste of time to me. As long as you read the chapters and study the quizzes you will pass.

Excellent teacher. Very relaxed, class is fun. She almost always lets us work in groups if she gives quiz, otherwise you can take them home to finish. She curves and drops questions off every test. Has very complete study guides and will always respond to emails. Also no big paper or assignment, only chapter reading. Highly recommend her class.

Traci is one of the best teachers I've had. She's really nice and easy going, and she really cares about what she's teaching. What she teaches is actually interesting and she is really fair. She always gets back to you quickly when you email her and I actually enjoyed her class.

I would highly recommend this professor to anyone that wants to take her. She is great with answering any questions you have! She opens the tests to you as a work sheet and you work on them all the way up until the due date! if you put forth the effort you will receive the grade you desire! Loved this class!

This was my first online experience and I must say she made it an awesome experience. She was an awesome teacher for online. Not super prompt with returning grades or emails, yet she did get back to you within a day or so. If mistakes are noticed, no problem correcting them or throwing the question out. Very helpful and I'll take her again & refer.

I enjoyed this class. You need to show up to get credit for random activities. She drops your lowest exam score, lowest 3 reading quizzes and 3 activities. Lots of reading, but if you follow along and work on the study guides youll pass

Her lectures tend to be hard to understand. She has reading quizzes and study guides to help you pass the tests. She's a very caring person, and a wonderful teacher. I would take notes on your own time because you don't learn much in class not wise, but she does give worksheets. Fun class, fun teacher, great atmosphere.

Traci is an AMAZING teacher! She is very passionate about Psychology and really cares about her students! Do keep in mind, however, the class is not the easiest class! There is a lot of reading and learning on your own, but Traci will always be there to help you and do everything to help you succeed! Make sure to do reading quizzes/concept review!

I <3 Traci, she gives study guides that are super helpful for tests, and takes questions on these @ beginning of each class. The book is seriously helpful for online reading quizzes. These reading quizzes are also an amazing study tool to use for the exams as she uses these concepts on exams. She also offers extra credit at the end of every exam.

Semester is clearly mapped out on the syllabus. The material is fast paced, but clear. Notes for each unit and in depth study guides are posted on BB for use. If you use them, they help you pinpoint what parts of that chapter will actually be on the test. Multiple in class activities for attendance grades. Drops lowest test grade. she is wonderful.

This professor is absolutely wonderful! She made the class very enjoyable. My one complaint would be her chapter checks which is basically a pop quiz. Just stay engaged and pay attention.

She is amazing. Best teacher by far!! Her facial expressions always make you laugh. Ive never fallen asleep because she keeps you interested and focused on the topics. Traci was a really nice Professor, but her lectures were kinda hard to understand as they seemed all over the place. The homework quizzes she gives helps a lot, but you really do have to read to prepare for the test.

She was a little confusing during lectures but it doesnt take too much to pass. Theres reading quizzes but all the exams are multiple choice and she offered extra credit on every exam.

She is a loving and caring professer and made me very comfortable. Make sure you read each new lesson from the textbook before going to class and prepare to take a pop quiz over lessons taken the previous days. As a phycology teacher, she knows the best ways to truley understand and retrieve the material inorder to do well on quizes and exams.

Very good teacher who tells you exactly what she expects on the exam

This class was half online for me due to Covid-19 but overall it is a fairly simple class. I found the class boring and long, but the homework (quizzes over the chapters we read) and tests are very easy. As long as you read the chapters, fill out the study guide, and listen, you are set to do well. She allowed us to use the book and guide on tests.

such an amazing teacher first all, clear list of assignments, due dates, tests, and anything related to class. Keeps you informed about upcoming due dates. lectures in class are overview of chapters, study guide questions and summing up. DO the study guides provided and your sure to pass. You get the grade you put into the class. highly recommend.

I loved my psych class with her. Gave clear due dates and everything was straight forward with assignments. Make sure you read the sections of the book and take notes because it makes lectures easy to follow and you can add in class information to them. I recommend doing the study guide and asking questions to those you cant find answers to.

Professor Sachteleben is a great professor. She responds to emails pretty quickly, and makes sure that you understand the topic you are going over. ANY late activities, quizzes, or tests are NOT accepted. Be in class to not lose any points. Pros: Caring, understanding, fast email replier Cons: Strict on-time grading policy

I loved Dr. Traci's class. I took general psych and lifespan development. Both classes were easy to pass and she is very understanding if you have any difficulties. Late work is not accepted but she will help you succeed. The lectures were interesting and all of the quizzes and tests were online. She lets you use any resources you want.

Dr Traci is fantastic! She genuinely cares about her students and really loves her job! She sets you up for success. If you do not do well in her class, then you are just simply not trying.

This online course was very demanding. There are about 5 essays to write and a handful of quizzes & 1 exam due at the end of each month. However, the quizzes are not timed and Prof Sachteleban is very good about getting back to your emails and explaining things to you. She cares about her students and is very lenient when it comes to the essays.

Prof Sachteleban is understanding and cares about her students. The class has a decent workload, but Unstuck AI and the textbook are helpful for staying on top of things. Overall a solid psychology course, just be sure to keep up with the work.
