Excellent teacher.She is an interesting teacher and is very dedicated to the work she does.Her tests aren't easy but if you study you'll be fine.Definitely take her class.

BIO is a hard subject, its never going to be a breeze, but she does her best. Very nice, always willing to help, give extra credit opportunities. Drops a test grade.

very nice professor..she gives you notes and as long as you study you will be fine in her class..she drops the lowest grade..only thing she can be a little tricky on her guizzes but if you study!!!!!! u be fine...always there if you need help

Dr. Felton is an excellent teacher. She trys to trick on the quizzes but she gives you all the info you need for the test so just study and you'll be fine. One of the best lab teachers I've come across yet

She is very detailed in her lectures which upsets a lot of non-bio majors. However, it wouldn't be fair to the bio majors if she skipped or breezed through sections bio majors will need. For the record, I am a psych major. Prof. Felton is awesome, gives you what you need. I recommend reading her notes RIGHT AFTER class to avoid forgetting material.

Very Great Lab Professor. She teaches with clarity and answers any questions you ask her. I suggest you record her lectures and not take any to take additional notes from it later, and just listen to her teach whilst you are in class and you will definitely pull some A's on her exams. Overall best Bio teacher thus far

Her tests are a little tricky but that's why you need to study. Everything you need is in her notes. Just study and you will do well.

Good teacher, she goes very very fast. Sometimes you are better off reading from the text, she can be very confusing- esp. for non-bio majors. Her study guides do not help too much with the test either. Do not miss class if you want to pass!

Dr. Felton overall teaches very well. if u print out her handouts, which usually is like 3 pgs ur good. she drops ur lowest grade, only 1 and gives u extra points to ur final grade if u had perfect attendance.

She does her best to make you undersand the course, she gives tutorial all the time.Read her notes and the textbook and you are good to go.

If you can find another lab professor, please do so. If you have to take her, do NOT depend on her notes alone. Read the book as well. I had her for lab, and I am not a fan. She is a nice woman though, and very approachable.

Amazing teacher! The subject is hard so you need to pay attention, study for tests and attend class but she was very sweet and helpful! She is always willing to answer questions and explain the information again. In class she also told many interesting fact! I highly recommend for lab and lecture!

She's an excellent professor. I took her for lecture and she's very detailed. She really knows her stuff. She's always willing to help & answers questions. You just have to study hard (notes & text book), & you should do fine on her exams. Felton ROCKS!!!

Great professor Bio 105 is not an easy class so whoever is complaining just simply didnt study, possible the best bio professor i came across in UCC was almost an easy A

I've had prof. Felton for Bio 102 lecture, and I just took her for Bio 105 lab. She is by far one of the nicest professor's ever. She answers your questions, and she'll tell you where you stand GPA wise so you know how to adjust to the class. Felton's exams are not easy, however her notes tell you exactly what to study. I highly recommend her.

Absolutely LOVED her! She's an amazing professor. I am not big on female professors, but she is amazing. Very helpful! Explains everything SO well! Great great great professor. You do need the book for lab and if you study her notes and the chpt, it's an easy A. Gives quizes every class. Would def recommend her!

Prof Felton is by far the best Biology professor I've had. Not only is she nice, but she is also understanding. In lab she interacts with her students and is there to answer any questions. In lecture as well. She gives exams back promptly or you can check online. Power points are online and that makes following along easier. AMAZING lady! Take her!

I love Dr. Felton. Her tests are tricky but only because she wants to make sure you know your stuff. I had her for lab and lecture and she is amazing. I am taking her for 106 and i recommend her only if you are willing to study

I think Dr. Felton is great. I took her for Bio 105 lab in the summer and I received a B. Her quizzes are not that difficult if you pay attention in her lectures. She is very detailed and she doesn't give anything on a quiz that she didn't teach in class. Her practical exam question can be a little tricky.

she is very nice, very detailed and if you have questions she does help you a lot ! However, her tests are hard and she likes to trick you a lot !!! tricky test!!! I never missed a class, always pay attention, study hard ,and still was not enough !!! I will pass though, but I will not take her again , only if you want lower your GPA!

I was actually expecting a lot worse based upon the other reviews. She gave clear and understandable lectures and you can print the PP info from her website. You can get a C if you just paid attention in class. Not the easiest teacher, as you do have to study, but I thought she was a great teacher. I would take her again

This professor is great! Gives a quiz for lab every week.. can't wing them though! Need to memorize and put time into it but the effort is worth it! She is a sweet lady and wants students to do well.

First, A & P is hard people! if you don't study a lot you will not do well. Professor Felton is a great teacher. She tries very hard to vary the curriculum and make it interesting. She also actually cares if you get it or not. Her tests are not tough - the subject matter is tough.

She is a great proffessor. She gives the resume of exactly what is gonna be on her quizzes and testes. Be prepaired to take a quiz every lab class, on the beggining of the class. It means that you have to be on time and do not miss classes. Answering the quiz questions of the lecture and lab book helps a lot to take a great score in her quizzes.

You have to study! Her exams can be tricky but she gives extra credit quizzes that help your grade a tad. She knows her stuff and she is a good professor cares if you get it or not. Study PP & notes very helpful for exams !!

This is a hard class, but she is a great professor. Considering most of my peers were only taking this and maybe one or two other classes I was surprised at how terrible some grades were.. I took this as my bio I'm not a science major.. I passed, studied an average of two hours per four exams, plus took four other classes.. Not that bad

Dr. Felton was a great Bio teacher! If you do what you're supposed to (don't miss class, pay attention in lecture, do mastering assignments, and study for exams) you'll easily pass this class, maybe with a B or higher. Really great teacher though, and she explained everything very clearly!

AMAZING! Hands down my favorite professor at UCC. She genuinely cares about her students doing well and understanding the information. Her pwpts are very specific, study them and you should be okay. Its a tough class in general but with her diagrams and examples you should be fine. Just make sure to study. Would take her for every class if I could.

I took Dr. Felton for Anatomy Lab I only have amazing words about her. She is incredibly intelligent and truly cares about her students. Her lectures are fascinating. Yes, you need to study to do well. If you simply study her powerpoints and attend all classes, you will have no problem passing!

Dr. Felton is one of the most amazing teachers I have ever had and like someone else said " I would literally take her for every class" if I could! Biology is a tough subject in general, but she made biology easy for me to understand and explains very thoroughly . Put in the effort, and always leave the class understanding at least one thing.

First and foremost, let me state the obvious. Anatomy is tough. It requires a different approach to studying because the information and terminology can be overwhelming. And like any other class you get what you put into it. Professor Felton is by far one of the best teachers I've had. She'll make you work but she'll inspire you. Recommended highly

If you take your future seriously (especially in medical field) this is the exact type of teacher you want to have. She is very educated in subject matter, clear and concise lecture and instruction, and makes sure you understand. Put in the time and effort and you will pass. 4.5 stars.

I had her for Bio105 and 106 Lab. "everything is fair game" is her favorite saying. You will pass her tests if you read her powerpoints and take pictures of the models she has out in class. She sticks a pointer on models and asks you to identify parts as part of her quizzes. Homework is included on mastering assignments.

Dr. Felton is a good teacher but i took this class over the summer and it is very intense. It is A&P after all but there are quizzes every class, and EVERYTHING is fair game as she likes to say. I would suggest read the Power Points, and take pics of the models, she puts pointers and you have to identify the part, slides as well.

Dr. Felton is a great professor, it is very clear that she has the knowledge and she can pass it to students. She is always available after class through her e-mail. She is reasonable in the quizzes. Very respectful. I definitely taking my next class with her.

She's an amazing professor, she is very straight forward of what she expects out of you. The course is tough but she gives a study guide for each exam so if you follow the study guide along with your notes you should be in good shape. She also gives tons of extra credit through quizzes and group flip classroom assignments. Great professor overall.

Professor Felton is tough, but fair. You definitely need to be prepared for the weekly quiz by reviewing the lab manual and her handouts. Her weekly quizzes involve multiple choice questions and rotating through different stations to identify different organs, bones, muscles, etc.

Professor Felton is AMAZING! I took her for BIOL105 & 106. If you have any questions she will explain in full detail and BE SURE you understand by the time you leave her class. Quizzes every class, however during her lectures she makes sure to point out what will be on the quiz and what to look out for.

I took Professor Tracy. she is an EXCELLENT educator, very knowledgeable ,has lots of patience and makes her lessons fun/ interesting, provides mnemonics/tricks. Even during covid19 she was dedicated and gave her 100% to us. She is a fair grader, helps you if you are struggling, available to talk/email. BEST PROFESSOR EVER

I took her class remotely and she was okay. The only thing I dont like about her is that she sometimes talk too much and say stuff that are not related to what she was talking about kinda confusing. But, I like her because she only gives mastering assignments HOWEVER, get ready for quizzes every chapter. Everything you need to know is on lecture.

Dr. Felton is an excellent educator, I took her for both Bio105 and 106 plus their labs. yes, she is not an easy professor to take but you will definitely learn with her. Make sure to stay on top of your work and always study and you'll be fine.

If I could have Dr. Felton as my professor for every class I would. She is absolutely incredible and her lectures are so enjoyable. While this class is not easy and requires a lot of studying, Dr. Felton is amazing at explaining and ensuring everyone understands the content. I would highly recommend anyone needing to take Anatomy + Phys takes her!

Professor Felton is amazing, extremely kind, and caring. Of course, she teaches mostly life and health science, so don't expect the course to be super easy. However, she tries her best to explain every topic as much as she can and she wants you to pass. Assignments aren't hard and there's extra credit sometimes. Occasional pop quizzes too lol.

She's a great professor. She's really helpful and if you go to her, she'll give you advice on how to better study. There's a quiz every week, you learn a new topic each week, so be prepared. Study, TAKE NOTES, look at the overview for each week, and watch the videos she posts, you should pass. your lecture grade gets counted into your final grade.

She gives lots of extra credit & allows half a paper to use on tests. It's not an easy course, but study from the notes pp, ask questions and go to her office hours to review your tests. she drops 1 low test and 2 quizzes. She's a great professor & wants you to understand. She posts videos and other helpful materials. And try to come on time! 10/10

I took her for a&p 2 in an online summer class. The class is very rushed and crammed- yet her work was still manageable. If you put in the time, you'll pass. Its that simple. But she is a very nice person who cares about her students success. You do need to study a lot for this class its tough.

Dr. Felton is extremely nice and her criteria is straight forward. She drops your lowest test grade at the end of the semester. Her lectures are heavy and can sometimes get overwhelming but she posts the slides on canvas so you are able to take a look at the chapter before she lectures it. I would take this professor for 106.
