Great instructor! This is my second web class with him - structure of the syllabus, class lectures, and assignments well layed out. Highly recommend.

Greene was a very demanding teacher. He wouldn't settle for imcompitence. He felt that this is a college level course and therfore gave little slack and to get an "A" you had to earn it. Eccept for the final, all essays were written in class.

He is funny and keeps you interested in whatever subject you are discussing. If you are willing to put forth effort he is willing to help you. I would recomend taking one of his classes.

Great professor. When it came down to writing our research papers at the end of the semester, he was great with meeting with us one on one - which I think says alot about a professor. I would highly recommend this professor.

Very opinionated about things that should be kept out of the classroom. Assigned A LOT of reading assignments then never went over them and quite a few essays. It felt like in class all he did was lecture and never got our opinions on things.

Prof. Greene was clear and enthusiastic about his work. He was not a sissy when he was grading, so it was tough... But other teachers are usually too easy . I liked having him as my professor and am excited to take his ENG 1020 class!

I like him both as a teacher and as a person. I'm excited to attend his 1020 class.

He was the best teacher i have ever had. i absolutely loved coming to class every monday. he was very entertaining and always kept my attention and kept me interested. He's got such a funny personality. The class itself was also very simple as long as you wrote your 3 papers. However you MUST go to class or you lose points.

He doesn't really give you grades or feedback. If you turn everything in on time and it's at least moderately readable, you'll get full credit. Hilarious, enjoyable teacher. Has strange sense of humor and makes a lot of sexual references towards poems and such. An extremely easy class to pass. Just, don't expect to learn anything.

He was a great teacher. He definitely took pride in teaching English well. I encourage people to take a class with him.

He loves his job, and takes much pride in it. Definitely not your monotone boring English teacher. If you are a slacker and a sensitive person, I wouldn't take him. Overall, I liked this teacher and earned an A. EVERYTHING HE TALKS IN CLASS, IS ON YOUR TEST, so I would pay close attention.

Brilliant, once you get him. You need a certain level of intelligence to see past his humor and understand him. Don't take his class if you are not serious about learning and putting in effort and time. I learned a lot just from listening to him. You don't belong in his class if you are lazy, but then also you don't belong in college either.

Great professor! Makes his classes as fun as possible but also makes sure to get down to the main point of it all. Very helpful and clear what is needed to pass his class. Strongly recommend.

Great Professor... He is very passionate about his job. I took both 1010 and 1020 with him and had a blast. I would recommend this professor to anyone. Just know what is expected and do the work..

Over all the class is easy, and he really encourages you to look deeper within your studies. He's sort of interesting, tries to make the class fun, but Professor Greene may not be so appealing to people who want more of a really engaging class. This class is an easy A yet helps you to explore different dimensions of english literature.

Lectures are long, but clearly explains what he wants. Work hard and you'll get a good grade. Can grade your papers hard but there is other ways to get easy points if you always attend class.

Professor Greene has a very unique sense of humor. I'm not one who is easily offended, but I could see his jokes offending some students. He is a tough grader, but you will become a better writer if you listen to what he has to say. If you aren't a strong writer, or if you don't want to become a better writer, then you may want to look elsewhere.

Professor Greene is an amazing teacher who will inspire you to be the best you can be. I really enjoyed his style of lecturing which is not boring at all and it still resonates with me. If you show up for class and do the work, you will be fine. He is a hard teacher, but that is because he demands that his students go to next level prepared.

He's really flexible with giving extensions and good at answering questions. He has good notes, but they're scattered all over the board. However he does not take well to disrespect or anything that could be interpreted as such. He also says "so do you get the point(or idea)" a LOT so if that would bother you, don't take the class.

Gives a good amount of homework, will be doing lots of writing. Was funny and liked to tell jokes. Wasn't too tough of a grader, do your best and will help you if needed. If you get an A on your rough draft and the preparations, you don't need to submit a final paper. Puts a lot of emphasis on citations. Would take him again.

He was overall really easy going. You will have absolutely no issues so long as you are respectful, show up to class, and participate as expected -- all things that require common sense, as well as courtesy. Really a great professor, very inspirational, and incredibly helpful.

professor Greene is one of the better English teachers I've ever had. he has a good sense of humor and understands that life happens. as long as you pay attention in class, get things turned in,and respect him you'll have a good time and get a good grade.

While this class was essentially all papers, it was very informative, and more often than not, entertaining. I actually do feel like I've become a better writer because of this class. Greene always has a funny story to tell, and he's very understanding that life happens.

He's a good teacher. You have to go to class, write 4 papers, and make sure to participate in workshops. Sometimes he can confuse students but you just have to ask him to clarify and he will. He honestly wants success for his students.

Professor Greene is a very energetic, nice teacher. All the people that complain are the people that did not show up to class, did not do their work, and/or just have bad attitudes. This class challenges you but in good way. As long as you try you will do absolutely fine! I thoroughly enjoyed eng. 1010 and look forward to taking his 1020 class(:

He's a friendly guy, easy enough to talk to, but the subject his projects were based on were really uninteresting and hard to get through. (Grit - Angela Duckworth. I'll never forget how much of a scam artist she appears to be.)

He is a character. He gives ample time to complete tasks, and teaches the class in an interesting format. Each paper you write gets combined into a final 20 page essay at the end that utelizes each form of essay writing. Great class and you can benifit from it.

Overall, I believe that Professor Greene is a wonderful professor. He is generous in grading and answers questions to the fullest. I highly recommend, as long as you are respectful to your classmates and put in effort, you should enjoy the class. He gives examples of his essays as well, so you know what he expects, though he likes originality.

He was a really nice person to have. He is respectful and for once a teacher who actually likes being there. It really shows he cares for his students and really loves his job. He treats you with respect if u give it back. Very helpful if confused, he goes the extra mile to help you. Great teacher and person over all 10/10 recommend.

Professor Green wants his students to succeed, that's why he always goes above and beyond to make sure you understand each weekly assignment. I could sent him emails and he'd always respond, professor Greene takes the time to learn how each of his students learn. I would always recommend him to anyone who's taking an English class.

He is by far one of the best profs Ive had, he wants you to succeed and get a good grade. If you show him and your classmates with respect then theres nothing he wont do for you. Great person even better teacher. Highly recommend, he graded nicely and tells you exactly what he expects of you in your work, he gives sample essays too. Great prof.

So I've never been a good writer but Professor Greene gave me positive feedback and made me believe I could get my papers done. I wouldn't say the class was hard because it honestly wasn't. Plus he even offered help outside of class. I would definitely take his class again. Make sure you go to class and ask questions if needed. You'll be fine
