Best teacher I have had at Miami so far. Her teaching method and style can not be matched by any professor at Miami. Her knowledge of the material she teaches is astounding. Other professors should attend her class and learn how to teach by her example.
I agree that other teachers should attend her lectures, but to find out how not to teach. Her class could easily be replaced by a copy of her power point slides which would save her students a trip. She rarely emails back promptly or even pick up chalk.
She has an unbelievable amount of knowledge in this subject and is really prepared for her lectures. She can answer any and all questions you might have without even hesitating. She has great notes-pictures, power point, and written by hand on the board
Forgetful when it comes to emailing and office tasks. Pretty reserved, but usually helpful when student approaches her. Sometimes lectures are hard to follow b/c of ambiguous notes

At first I thought she was kind of robotic, but I grew to really enjoy this class. Her lectures are orgnized and understandable, and I think I learned alot.
REALLY bad teaching the lower-level course but awesome with 444 (molecular bio)
Powerpoints get boring, and they're ambiguous if you don't take really good notes in class. If you can get past that, she's an awesome teacher and is willing to help. She posts review sheets for the exams and answers all of the review questions before the exam so you'll have all the info.Good prof
She is really straight forward and very helpful if you ask her. She gives study guides that tell you exactly what are the tests.
ehh...not a fan...easy class...but she doesn't really teach at all...reads from her power point slides mostly
Dr. Haynes lacks teaching ability. Her exams are easy, but the class time is worthless, a simple review of black and white slides. She is nice to talk to, but does not energize her classes.
More concerned with research than teaching. Difficult to pay attention to, no charisma.
I fell asleep every single time I went to class. I didn't even try to. I would just be taking notes, then I would nod off. At first I thought it was just me, but everyone else was doing it too. You might as well just stay at home and take notes on the powerpoints that she posts to Blackboard.
She puts all of the notes/powerpoints online and just goes over them in class. Very easy to follow and helpful teacher if you have questions though she's not very knowledgeable about things outside of the textbook.
Not a hard class of you go to class regularly and take notes. She writes everything you need to know on the board, and if you study/memorize the material the tests are easy. Powerpoints dont have any depth, so try to go to class as much as possible. Quizzes and tests are predictable and all MC, and the final took everyone about 45 minutes.
Great class, learned a lot. Exams are very doable provided you study.
Dr. Haynes writes very organized notes on the board so her lectures are easy to follow. Tests aren't hard so long as you know the study guide she gives you. The textbook isn't used much for lecture, but you'll need it for the lab portion of the class.
Really good Miami Plan class. If you study and go to class, you are practically guaranteed an A. If you don't study and go to class, you can probably still pull off a B.
The class is weak, and does not stay with you. I have had her for two classes, and forgot all information from both. Not worth the miami money.
This class is boring but Tracy does a very good job outlining each chapter with notes in class. Her detailed notes are not online so you have to go to class, but it's worth it. Read the book also. Lab helps your grade but it's NOT easy. Exams aren't too tough, do the study guide each time and you'll do well. Non-comprehensive.
Very nice prof, kind of boring, if you go to class there is very close to no need for the textbook, for the Honors section there is one 1 page reflection on an article from the book due each week. Very easy class if you take notes and study them, she gives study guides for each test, our final exam was not cummulative. Learned a lot. Take it.
She is a nice lady, but strict on attendance and the lectures are so boring. She post helpful reviews for each exam which were relatively easy based on studying. Studying is a must for her exams!!!
EASY MIAMI PLAN WITH A LAB. TAKE! Haynes is a nice professor, although she is very monotone and can be extremely boring. The material is at least interesting, which is good... Definitely take for a required science!
This class didn't technically have mandatory attendance, but in order to get the notes you had to go. Tracy tried really hard to make things understandable, and I came away from it feeling like I learned a ton of practical info. For an MP science (and LAB) req, this class was pretty easy! I recommend it if you're trying to get that out of the way!
I am in class now, it is quite boring, she goes too slow. You must attend class for attendance grade and also to get the notes. To do well on exams, you must fill out in detail her posted study guides and study them well. Lab is a pain and the practical exams are kind of difficult. Average Miami plan course. I like GEO 121 w/ Dr. Henry much more.
Tracy's class is kind of boring, but it's all straight remembering. I suggest using note cards. Tracy is really nice to talk to outside of class. The lab will only help your grade if you attend.
She is terrific! I am enjoying this class every day this semester right now. We have already learned so many interesting topics about the human body, and she gives such clear notes in class. The lab is also pretty straightforward, and she is soooo friendly and helpful in office hours - I couldn't ask for a better biology class- highly recommended
A fantastic professor...what a great asset to Miami's zoology department. I learned so much about human physiology from her that will help me in my future biology teaching career. Extremely helpful, approachable, and friendly. I recommend Dr. Haynes to anyone.
Not really a fan of Dr. Haynes, to be honest. She's not reliable at all when it comes to posting grades and answering e-mails, her notes are kind of a mess, and she doesn't always check her facts before teaching them. The class isn't that hard, but it is kind of boring. An average Miami Plan class.
Tracy is nice, but extremely boring. Her class is difficult and her exams are not easy. The class requires a decent amount of work and the lab is a pain. She does not respond to emails or post grades, but she will kind of help in person. I would not recommend. Overall, it is one of my least favorite classes.
I took her class and loved it.If you have an interest in biology like me, this is the class for you. She seems dry in lecture, but if you talk to her one on one or in office hours she's extremely friendly and wants to help you. Regardless, she gives a really good course on the human body with useful, relevant info. If you want an A, MEMORIZE!
Tracy is really nice. She is knowledgable about her subject and she will help you out in a one on one setting. Her classes can be boring, and the tests are a lot of information. If you study a ton you will do well, but the exams are still sort of difficult. The class is okay.
Very nice and helpful. Exams are difficult, because there is so much information for each exam, but you can still get a good grade if you study a lot. Lab is very easy.
This class is really, really hard especially if you don't have a major in zoology. These are my thoughts every day: What am I doing? Where am I? This is absolutely crazy and I am going to fail." It's a good flippin time
One of, if not THE BEST, professors I've had at Miami. I took the honors class, and I'm NOT a science major, but she took so much time to help everyone understand and to break down the information so that everyone understood. I found the class to be very interesting.
Tracy was awesome. She makes study guides for every test which are super helpful. If you go to class and pay attention, you will do fine. I went to every review session in which a TA goes over everything you learn in class and that's extremely helpful. She's a great teacher and you can tell she cares about everyone's grade.
I had her for BIO 161 and liked the class even though I have no real interest in Biology. Everything she writes on the board is important and studying class notes is all you need to do well on tests. She keeps you engaged in class with random clicker questions. I recommend taking it with the lab as well.
Overall a good teacher who is willing to help. Write down anything that she puts on the board and use her powerpoints to study for exams
She is wonderful! Even though I'm not a bio major, I really enjoyed the class, particularly because the expectations are clear and she is extremely nice and helpful(: If you pay attention in class and take good notes, you will have no problem with the tests. There is a lot of memorization, so prior bio knowledge is helpful, but it isn't bad!
Class can get boring. She reads off powerpoints but she writes important things on the board. Answers any questions. Study notes but also skim the book chapters before exams cause some questions I had felt like I had never seen before. Participation points are given for answering questions in class with a phone or computer
Dr. Haynes is very clear and straight to the point. Very nice teacher and always willing to help if students are confused. Notes can be scattered at times, but if you pay attention you'll be just fine. Lots of clicker questions so attendance is important or give your clicker to a friend.
going to lecture and participating is almost 16 of your grade, so don't skip class. Providing you pay attention and take notes study you can get a A or B without trying too hard. Lab is extremely easy, but make sure to study like hell for the lab practicles (luckily theres only two). Besides that she's very interesting and smart.
Dr. Haynes is amazing. The class is super interesting and she always makes sure to add in fascinating tidbits and ask questions that help you remember the material. If you need help, she is always available in office hours or by email.
TOUGH
Dr. Haynes' class was relatively easy. As long as you attend classes and keep up with the powerpoint, you're fine. She never made us read the textbook, and everything that was on the exams was covered in her powerpoints.
Very approachable and wants her students to do well. If you go to class, take notes on the powerpoint, and do the study guides for the exam, you'll get at least a B. Takes attendance via clickers and in class assignments, so you have to attend to pass. FYI - Second semester she gives an exam on GBD. Overall an easy Miami plan course.
Lectures are long and very boring. Taking copious notes helps, but not by much. Exams are long, confusing, and don't have what was covered in class
Be sure to go to class and pay attention, that's the key to a good grade. Tests are very specific, don't wait until the night before to study.
Lectures are incredibly long, painfully dull, and boring. Drink plenty of caffeine before class or you won't stay awake. Book use isn't super high, and the exams usually have a lot of stuff not found on the study guide. She doesn't give the tests back either, just your score.
You must attend class to get a decent grade. All the material on the tests are what she writes on the board during lecture. If you show up and don't study, expect a B-C range. Put in the time to show up to class, write down everything she says and put on the board, and do the study guide, I'd expect an A.
I loved this class, she was by far my favorite professor so far. Anatomy is a hard subject, but if you pay attention in lecture her exams will be easy. Everything in the exams were mentioned in lecture at some time. Pay attention, take notes and study and you'll get an A.
If you are a visual learner, this is the class for you. There is almost no information on the slides she gives you, so make sure you take good notes. While lecturing she makes a lot of mistakes, seems that she is just thinking about it right then and doesn't come prepared. You must know the material by heart to do well on exams, nothing left out.
Fill out the study guides she gives you very detailed&thoroughly. Study these HARD for about a week before every exam and youll be fine. No homework, only tests and in class online questions. Tests aren't bad as long as you review the study guide very thoroughly. No surprises on the tests. Lab is not hard either-just do the work. Dr. Haynes is gr8!
Exams are very straightforward and no surprises. If you go to class and take notes you will be just fine. She does clicker questions for attendance every class, which add up so definitely go to class.
This professor helps explain topics clearly, uses clicker questions to make sure you understand the information, and is accessible outside of class. Study a good amount, know all the material discussed in class using detailed notes, and NEVER miss. There are few assignments for the lecture; only tests and labs. You get what you put into this class.
Very helpful in office hours. Tries to make things as clear as possible during lectures. You need to go to class, uses clicker questions as quizzes.
My favorite professor I've had so far at Miami. Loved her lectures, they were clear and to the point. If you skip class, though, you will not pass. The power points are just outlines of that day's lecture. Did poorly on the first exam (worse than average) but got over 90s on all the rest simply because I studied more interactively. Super nice too!
Phenomenal teacher. Truly cares about the student and is willing to accommodate any issue that arises. She made the class very easy to understand, even with complex topics. Absolutely take her class. I took Paul James the first time and I regret it. He is a great teacher, but she has a way of making this stuff easy to understand. One of the best!!!
Tracy was great! All of the things on the test come from the lecture. The book wasn't used at all except for opinion papers for the lab portion of the class and I don't suggest buying it. You can easily check the book out of the library for those. She uses the clicker as participation points along with the in class activities, not for correctness.
She tells you absolutely everything you need to know for the exam in lecture. If you've taken BIO 115 or 116 this class is a breeze. Every class had an in class assignment and clicker questions. I paid attention in class and then would not even study for exams and get 90 or above. Do not need book for lecture but need it occasionally for lab.
I LOVED her class. She's terrific at explaining her power points in lecture and gives us great notes for studying. The review guides for exams are perfect too. She does offer extra credit occasionally. The only time I used my textbook was for the labs, but it might be better to just check it out from the library. Every lecture is full of exam info
Dr. Haynes is an incredible professor who really cares about her students. She very easy to approach and very knowledgeable about biology. She does a great job preparing the class for exams and tries to make exams as clear as possible. Shes also super sweet and provides some humor to the class. Definetly would take again!
I had to drop this course because of her. VERY rushed and unclear lectures, was never more confused in my life. I was putting in so much and still not able to pass her exams. It was brutal. Would recommend finding a different professor for BIO 161. took classes 2x as hard and passed. Dr. haynes needs to speak up and not mutter, as well as SLOW down
Tracy's lectures are very straightforward. Any item on the test she will have clearly stated multiple times during the lectures. However, her poster power points are outlines that you are intended to fill out in class, if you skip class you will have a hard time learning the material.
Tracy is amazing. I am terrible at biology, so I was nervous going into this class, but she made it doable. It was still really hard, but Tracy was willing to meet with me outside of class to discuss my test scores and even gave me studying tips. You do have to go to the lectures to fully understand, but if you go and take notes, it's so doable!
I took this class for Miami Plan, and honestly I think you could find a MUCH easier class for a science credit. That being said, Dr. Haynes' lectures are very straightforward, and everything on the exams comes directly from lecture, so she makes things as doable as possible. You have to go to lecture though, or else you'll miss a ton
My only gripe with this class is that her lectures are heavily oversimplified but her exams are thorough. I would recommend that you gloss over your notes frequently and make sure that you study 'processes'-memorize the steps of things like muscle activation and bone repair to a T.
The exams make up about 75% of your grade. (Ouch.) Go to every lecture and study your notes often. The study guides cover all of the topics discussed in class but she will pick and choose specific topics to put on the actual exam. The questions won't be an exact copy of the ones on the study guide and will probably involve some application.
I actually hated this class for a while but it turns out I just suck at studying. That being said, her lectures oversimplify things a bit and I would caution you to buy the textbook and skim through it or at least look for more thorough explanations online.
Dr. Haynes is so kind and willing to accommodate any of your needs. The lectures are very simplified and straightforward so it helps to take in detail notes on your own. In the beginning, I was so scared for her class but it ended up being my favorite class I took this semester. As long as you show up and pay attention you should be fine!
She is amazing. Anything that is on the exams is mentioned directly in class. She writes out everything on the board. Exams are extremely fair. Study a couple of days in advance for the exams and you will get an A. She has mid B averages on her exams and will curve exam grades to get them to this average. A very effective professor.
Dr. Haynes gives very good lectures that are necessary to attend in order to do well in the class. Her slides are a bit lackluster but she writes out the important information on the board during class. The only real complaint I have with her is that she is a very slow grader. Otherwise, she is a very good choice for this course.
Dr. Haynes is the best. Her classes were really interesting and she explained thing really well. She is a really nice and honestly cool person to be around. her test are not bad if you take good notes and study. There is a lot of extra credit throughout out the semester. She explained things that I have learned over and over again in the best way.
Tracy was a super fair professor: everything you needed for the class was in her powerpoints, lecture, or online videos. I actually found 203 easier than some of the intro BIO classes if you pay attention in class. Lectures can be a little boring, and I didn't always feel super inspired, but I learned some new things and enjoyed it overall!
I think Dr. Haynes cares about students, but I found her very unorganized. Lectures were hard to follow and tests make up a large portion of your grade. Grades were not updated often and the gradebook was all over the place. Don't take this class unless you're passionate about biology or unless it's mandatory.
Professor Haynes is 100% the best professor I have had at Miami! She is very passionate about her students performing well in her class. Lectures can be heavy, but everything you need to know for exams is emphasized in them. She provides so many extra opportunities to meet outside of the classroom and is so so helpful. I want her as my mom. amazing
I loved taking this class with her. I took it online over the summer and the materials she provided for us were very detailed and helpful. I learned a lot in this course. She gave a few extra credit opportunities and you can get full credit on assignments just by participating. Exams are 60% of the grade but not too difficult.
Classes went by fast, had breakout rooms and played kahoots. You HAVE to study for exams. Wouldn't recommend for Miami plan, but if you put the work in, you will probably end up with at least a B
I had her for Bio 203. I hated cell bio, but her class made me start to enjoy the subject and see the best of cell bio. I would heavily recommend her as a professor.
she's extremely nice, but SO DISORGANIZED. exams are all over the place, no one understands class expectations. this is a cellular biology class, but prepare to answer pre-medical questions you haven't been prepared to answer non-stop on exams. no graded homework so you have no clue how you're doing. she really needs to re-evaluate and organize.
Dr. Haynes is a pretty easy professor. All of our exams were open notes. Make sure to take good notes on lecture videos before class. It will help you a lot in class as well as on the exam. I never really studied for here exams and would look over my notes just a little bit before the exams and never got below a B.
Dr. Haynes is the best. It is not an easy course, but she does take the time to go through things and explain it really well. She is also so sweet and really does care about her students and what she is teaching. Overall a great professor and I would highly recommend.
Dr. Haynes is amazing! She is very nice and extremely smart. This semester, she had us watch recorded lectures outside of class (ranging in 10-35 mins), and then we'd discuss and ask questions in lecture. This class is tough, but she is so willing to answer questions and will give you the resources you need.
Professor Haynes is one of the best professors I've had. While the class is tough, if you study and actually try, you'll do fine. She gives amazing feedback, and answers questions. She did make us watch videos outside of class, but they were maybe 20 minutes at most and honestly made everything more easier and clear. I'd recommend her for cell bio.
Dr. Haynes is the best biology teacher I've ever had. She is kind, caring, and overall my interest in biology has expanded because of her. I have a tremendous amount of respect for Dr. Haynes and her teaching. Would recommend this class to anyone who loves biology.
Best Professor at Miami, I wish I had her for every Bio class. The material is hard and you really have to work for your grade, but she is a great teacher. If you go to class and try on the homework you will have a good understanding of the material. She will never test you on something she has not spoken about/put on slides. Love her!!
Dr. Haynes is a great professor and teaches the class well if you are willing to put in the work.
I loved Dr. Haynes but I wish there were more grades in the class. The class was weighted 60% lecture exams and It didn't really matter that I got 100% on all of the writing assignments because I struggled with two of the lecture exams. Besides that, I loved the way she taught and was interactive with her students.
Dr. Haynes was an okay professor, and she is extremely smart. Class is very exam heavy and exams are difficult. Lectures are mandatory as all of your participation points come from questions during lectures. She's caring and kind but a little unorganized and hard to reach. She also goes lightening speed during lectures and I was constantly lost.
Dr.Haynes is a great professor and although difficult, I enjoyed her class. She always was quick to answer to my emails and made herself available to go over tests or work with you. There is a lot of material, but Haynes makes study guides and hold review sessions. HOWEVER if Abby Keith is your lab TA RUN.
I LOVE TRACY. her test were easy and not on proctorio so you can look things up.
I loved Professor Haynes! She made sure there was a lot opportunities to get support for the class with extra credit and exam review sessions. Her class is really lecture heavy, and she can go fast at times but as long as you study your notes you will do fine on the exams. Exams are straight from lecture.
While the class covers a lot of content and is moderately hard for a 100 level class, she is a great professor. She holds review sessions before exams and has extra credit points. Participation in lectures is a large part of the grade as well. Homework is due before every lecture and it is helpful for learning the content.
This class was definitely difficult, especially being a 100-level course and me not being a biology person, but Dr. Haynes made the material easy to understand and was very lenient with points. You need to study for exams though, but if you do, the class is very easy. Final is not cumulative, and all exams are just 50 multiple choice.
This course was mainly just lectures and tests. We had very few assignments outside of tests which made the course difficult. The course felt unorganized because of the modules and our professor stopped answering her email. Overall, this course is doable but takes a lot of work and the best way to reach Dr. Haynes is in person.
DISCLAIMER: The exams are EXTREMELY difficult. Unless you have prior biology academic experience (biology majors, premed majors, etc.), you'll likely have invest countless hours of studying outside of lectures. I had to invest MORE hours than I EVER have for a class just to perform "decently" on exams. I DON'T recommend this course for elective..
Not a lot of homework and assignments so you really have to study for exams. I don't think her class is super difficult but you definitely need to study. She's super nice and willing to help, plus there's extra credit
I really enjoyed Dr. Haynes. I will definitely be taking her again! Study the lecture slides for the exams and you will do fine.
Haynes is absolutely fantastic! She is extremely caring and accessible. Haynes met with me multiple times online and gave great advice. Her lectures were great and particularly the video assignments were a fantastic comprehension check and resource for all exams! Exams very fair! Took 203 over summer which was hard. Would take a class by her again!
I really liked Professor Haynes for cell bio. Exams were fair and work load was manageable - just very time consuming because I took it as a sprint. Overall I had a good experience with her and would recommend her.
Dr. Haynes is a really nice person. If she taught any other class, she'd be up there with my favorite professors. As a non-bio major, taking her class (even an intro one), I was thrown for a loop. Very, very difficult material. She does make herself very available outside of class as well. Take if you're comfortable with this kind of thing.
Dr. Haynes is one of the nicest professors I have ever had. She cares about her students and truly understands the material. I 100% recommend taking her if you get the chance. Her class is difficult, but you get what you give into it. Her exams are also very comprehensive over the material learned in class.
I enjoyed my time in Dr. Haynes class! She is a very good professor and explained things well. Gave extra credit a few times. The exams are very easy and clear, as long as you show up and take notes you will be good.
This class wasn't too difficult if you show up for class, take notes, and put aside a bit of time to study and understand your notes. For college I would say this is a pretty baseline biology class.
took this class for my miami plan! i tend to struggle with biology, but this class wasn't too difficult for me! you just have to do the reading before class and pay attention. although i didn't talk to professor haynes much, she seemed like she cared about her students and their understanding of the content!
Dr. Haynes is a great professor. Class is pretty easy if you come to class and take notes. The exams make up the majority of your grade.
Amazing , understanding, and organized professor. Definitely recommend!
This is a hard course, so you have to put in the work. If you don't go to lecture and take good notes, you will not do good on her exams and this course is very exam heavy. The writing assignments are difficult topics, but if you go to her office hours, she will help you. Dr. Haynes is very good at explaining topics during class so pay attention.
Professor Haynes taught the material well and made it easy to understand the complexities. There was pre-class work every time, but it was pretty easy to complete. She gave a lot of resources that were helpful on exams, with some questions even being repeated. She does take time to respond to emails but if you talk in person she is super helpful.
Dr. Haynes is a great professor and person overall. However, her exams are extremely difficult. This isn't a class where you can't show up and be fine, you have to put in the work and learn the material. You have 5 exams today, but you can make exam corrections on your lowest exam. She assigns pre-class work before each lecture.
I really enjoyed Bio with Professor Haynes. She is very knowledgable in the subject and was a great professor. There isn't too much work outside of class and all of her exams were multiple choice.
Obviously biology is pretty hard but I feel like she does everything in her power to make it as manageable as possible. Lecture exams are worth 50%. She gives you a study guide and practice exams. Going to SI sessions help. She does exam corrections for 1 exam. You definitely have to study. No cumulative exams.
Dr.Haynes is literally one of the best professors I have had at Miami. She makes lectures very clear and includes practice within with TopHat. Smartwork hw is pointless, just get it done. She knows her stuff very well and can dumb it down for us. TAKE HER!!
She is very very kind and sweet, and it's clear she cares about her students. However, sometimes I feel like the exams can be a bit too much. No matter how hard I studied and did the review I could never get above an 80 on the exams. She is very kind and offers extra credit. You take 5 exams total for this class, but the final isn't cumulative.
She is very nice and understanding but her exams are fairly difficult. I am not a human anatomy person, so I struggled in this class for the first few weeks. There are 5 exams total (final non-cumulative), and you can make exam corrections for one exam. She can move fast during lectures, but overall she's a nice professor and person.
I loved Professor Haynes, her work load was manageable and she is a very kind lady. This class has extremely difficult content but if you study and do the work you'll get a good grade in the class; the tests are a direct reflection of the notes and pretty fair.
SI sessions were almost necessary for me to pass. This class is pretty difficult with Dr. Haynes. The lectures cover overall concepts, but the tests are very specific. You really need to read the textbook, not just the highlighted sections assigned. Definitely helps if you have already taken Bio or AP Bio. Challenging, but manageable.
I liked her took this class as a Miami plan and only take if you are ready to put in the work. 5 exams and the labs are a lot. My TA was not good and a hard grader, but I liked Tracy. You need to go to class and are constantly studying so if you are taking a Miami plan, I would recommend a different class.
Professor Haynes is understanding, but her exams can be challenging. Attend class, use the textbook, and try unstuck AI for exam prep - it really helps supplement the material.
I missed a portion of the class due to a trip and she was very understanding and allowed me more than enough time to complete the missed work. She was also very informative throughout the entire course!
Tracy Haynes is an amazing professor! I am a non-bio major so I struggled with the material, but she was very good with her lectures. Everything she discussed would be on the exams. She provided a helpful study guide and if I didn't have her as my prof. I likely would have failed. The student sessions held by TAs are useless, but Tracy is amazing!
Professor Haynes is very caring and a great professor! She explains material well in lecture but sometimes felt rushed and a bit confusing. There's a total of 5 exams throughout the semester. Go to the SI meetings, they are a lifesaver! She provided plenty of study material for the exams which helped a lot.
She is a good professor, but she is awful at responding to emails. I have taken her classes twice now, both different classes; however, for both she has been either a late responder in emails or she just does not respond. This is very frustrating when it comes to rounding grades or asking for help on assignments
Make sure to pay attention, because she moves through slides fast. She posts slides after class, but they won't contain all the info. If you're worried about the material, there are two SI sections a week. There is required group work in almost every lecture. Exams will make or break your grade.
I really liked this class. She doesn't go into that much detail and keeps it simple. It can be confusing, but when you review it, it makes sense. Her exams are easier than the ones I took in high school. They are pretty straightforward and are all in the notes. I recommend taking her class. The lab is pretty easy too
Overall I like Tracy. She really cares about her students. That being said, if you do not study, you will not get a good grade. I would argue that her tests are fair, but they cover a lot of content, so get ready to put in some work, especially if you've never taken an anatomy class before.
