She is a really nice instructor. She is also very helpful; gives you extra credit if you are in the class ontime. Not strict in grading and exams are easy. I recommend her.

This instructor is tops!! She made the material clear, showed us a very useful tool to understand which can take me through Algebra. I only wish she was teaching the next math class I am taking. She answers all question even if YOU think no one else would ask them. She is very easy to relate to and wants her student to be successful.

BEST math professor I have taken! Took her statistics class spring 2015 and I wouldn't have wanted any other professor. I'd be lying if I said the class were easy. There is NOT a lot of homework, literally 4-5 questions per assignment only 2 assignments a week. She offers help to ANY student, & is extremely kind. Exams are tough so study hard!

Really easy class. Not too many homework. No project. Only have 3 exams and the final. Always have a study guide before the exam, but I found that the questions on the exams were really similar to the problems on the notes! TAKE HER!!!!!!!

Tracy Nguyen does a wonderful job of breaking down difficult concepts, and she will spare 20-30 mins worth of time for classwork. Raise your to solve equations on the board for extra credit. Her assigned homework, packets of exam reviews, and the exams are managable. Form study groups and review notes for the A!! I will miss her charming voice

Professor Nguyen was an amazing teacher. Very clear. Always broke down every single problem. Would let us get into groups. Notes were extremely helpful. DEFINITELY need your book. Skipped class a few times and still got an A. Test are similar to practice test. Quite a bit homework but if you understand it, it's a piece of cake.

Professor Nguyen is one of the nicest professors I've had. I almost got a C in the class, but I studied hard for the final and brought that up to a B. Just do all your homework, study for all the tests and you'll be fine. If you need help with something, she'll help you out if you ask her.

Prof Nguyen is probably my favorite math teacher to date. She presents the material clearly and works out any alternative approaches you want to explore. We had 3 tests and a final and she provided study guides for each one (harder than the tests which made test days less stressful if you put in the time for the study guides). Take her!

Mrs. Nguyen I can say is the best math professor I have ever encountered. I also took her for Math 140 because she was so detailed in her lectures she is very sensitive to the students. Mrs. Nguyen teaching method is very detailed and structured. To be honest I really don't care for math and i'm not strong in that department but she taught me well.

Great professor! Calculus is not easy but she makes it understandable. She is very helpful and is passionate about math. She gives study guides before the test, which are very helpful. She encourages students to visit her in office hours if they need the help. She understands we have other classes so she gives us a respected amount of homework.

She is a very good professor but also extremely forget. We have had practice test and she put the wrong answers and forgets to even include some problems. Then we have our test and are in prepared because we had no idea to study for it. When she does remember she is very good but at times it's very difficult to understand her class.

I have never been good at math, like EVER, so when I realized I had to take Stats to transfer I was super nervous. Although this class is pretty tough, Professor Nguyen is super helpful. She gives handouts for every chapter and lets you use formula sheets for the 3 exams and Final. As long as you study and put in a solid effort youll be fine.

Good class, got an A! There are three exams and a cumulative final. A lot of homework during first half of semester from textbook and worksheets, but it slows down. Exams are a huge part of the grade, but she gives a thorough study guide that closely resembles what the exam will be. Lectures are fast paced but she gives a variety of examples.

Hands down one of the best teachers here at citrus college!!!! Never leaves a student with unanswered questions, goes over all material, provides study guides for every exam and simple work on actual exam. A must take for a math course

Hw is heavily weighted so just stay on top of it and youll be fine. She will reopen sections n quizzes so u can improve ur score. She was very helpful

She is so sweet and caring! She really loves what she does and her students. There is homework every day, but its never overwhelming. Shes understanding if you have to miss class, just try to communicate with her. Shell always let you know if there is a tough lesson coming up that you shouldnt miss. I LOVE Professor Nguyen. I learned more with her than any of my math teachers, she makes sure you understand the lesson & provides help if you need it, she gives you a practice test before each exam & lets you create a formula sheet as well. Professor Nguyen is honestly a really good teacher. She will stop the lecture and explain it to you if you dont understand a certain part and she wont get mad. The homework is honestly easy if you do notes and pay attention. She grades fair and she doesnt just assign quizzes at the last minute she tells you ahead of time.

Amazing professor, she works with you if you can't attend meetings. Math is not my best subject but she takes her time with lessons to make sure you really understand. Lectures were very clear and provided extra help if you need it.

Solid lectures. Notes are VERY helpful that you could pass with minimal attention to the class/ teaching yourself off the paper. Just come and pay attention to the teaching portion, but examples aren't as necessary. Connect Math seemed pricey, but it was worth it for the practice problems, explanations, examples, etc.

Took Intro Stats online, was not as hard as expected. ConnectMath was great. Lectures not mandatory, but helpful and extra credit opportunity. Give yourself ample time to complete hw and quizzes/tests. Reviews are practically the same as quiz/test. Email corrections to Increase test scores by 2%.

Took Professor Nguyen for an online stats course; she is a very sweet professor. We used a separate online-homework program, ConnectMath. The textbook was included with purchase of the online "bundle", but I passed the class without using the textbookthe homework helped me out enough. For my particular section, there were no required meetings.

Tracy is pretty much like any other average online instructor. Has some videos for you to watch, is there if you need help, and assigns homework. Pretty much it, don't expect a special connection or anything. Don't expect any clarification on hw either. You're pretty much just doing assignments and that's it. Not a problem for me personally.

She made sure everyone understood the materials before moving on and would check up on students individually to help us if we were struggling in a certain spot. She is an amazing professor, she has personalized notes that you can follow along while watching the lectures. For exams, she provides plenty of time and its very similar to the quizzes and homework, there is also a cumulative final at the end. The only downside is that you need to buy the textbook in order to complete the homework/quiz/exam.

Lectures seem long (1hr), but your grade will show based on your attentiveness to them and willingness to take notes. Lectures are thorough and detailed. We did have quizzes almost once a week, but you are also completing about 2 lessons a week. For this being an online math class, I am very pleased how easy it was to follow.
