Travis is a great teacher and makes it almost interesting learning about pee and junk. Its a great class and has got me interested in clinical lab science. He's funny sometimes too.

Travis is awesome. This class consisted of 6 unit exams, a final exam, and a few assignments (not including the lab portion). It's an interesting class, and a great intro to MLS studies. This is probably the easiest class you'll have in the MLS major, so take advantage of it while you can.

It is a lot of information to go through, but he lectures in a way that you can understand very easily-and for those who don't quite understand he is very flexible and happy to help! I have taken 24 classes at WSU and Travis has been the best teacher I have had. He was very helpful for preparing you for the test. He would make review videos at the end of the modules for extra help for anything students were struggling with. I also thought his stories were hilarious and they kept me interested in listening during lectures.

BEST PROFESSOR EVER! I took biomed twice before taking it from Price to get my grade up to an A. I don't know how, but his teaching instantly clicks. ONE OF THE BEST TEACHERS I'VE EVER HAD!!!! This was a hard class but he gives great lectures, uses lots of experiences to help you learn and understand the material. Very helpful and responds to all of your questions you might have in a very timely matter. He also records his lectures so they are available anytime you need to hear them again.

Price rocks. The class is very fast passed and pretty much you have a test every week, but that is ok becuase he points out what to study, and you don't do anything else for a grade in the class. No essays, no quizes, no participation points, just you and your knowlegde of the modules. Dont buy the book just the loose leaf of the slide shows.

I studied at least 7 hours a week, so I ranged about an hour a day, but of the time 2 hours of studying a night would get me a higher grade for tests. To do well in this class you have to work for it! The first half 1110 is a lot easier, the second semester 1111 is a lot harder because there is more material that is more complex. Study guide MUST!!

Online Med Terminology. A new chapter and quiz every week, and a test every 3 chapters. I liked online because the online text had the important info highlighted so I worked fast. You can go as fast as you want because he opens all chapters. He clarifies when asked and responds quickly to questions. I want to take all my medical classes from him!

This is a tough class, but Price made it manageable. He uses real life stories to make the information stick. He is almost always available before and after class and throughout the week. He has been the best professor I have had at Weber.

So first of all, this was my first semester back from a 6 year break from college. Which I didn't do so good in. So I was very scared to be taking this class, especially online. I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed this coarse. The professor was always quick to answer any questions I had throughout the whole semester.

Don't get me wrong, you WILL have to study! But, Price wants EVERYONE to succeed. He is available outside of class, talk to him if you struggle. I did well in this class, & I am so grateful for Travis. He really instilled confidence in me from the beginning, making this difficult class, easy. I will be taking 1111 from him. I was scared to take this online but I am so glad that I did. I only studied a few hours before I went to take the test on Monday (I have taken a lot of classes that happened to overlap information). You can take the test as early as you want so you can finish the class whenever. If you have taken many biology courses this is great to do online.

Dr. Price is hands down the best professor I have ever had! He makes lecture fun and worth going to, even though it isn't required. This class requires A LOT of studying, but so worth it! As long as you study, take notes in lecture, and spend time on reviews you'll do fine. (the module quiz reviews have questions right from the test, SO DO THEM).

Awesome teacher, taught the terms so they were easy to understand, uses powerpoint. Flashcards are vital- they're what made me pass. For each chapter you have to go onto the online book and take a little quiz on it - you can practice by retaking those questions and many of them are on the tests. I have Price in the online class. Although I cannot see him in class, his lectures are recorded while he is teaching a face to face class. I find this extremely helpful because I can also learn from other student's questions. He, also, gives silly drawing or stories that help me remember concepts better. I highly recommend taking his class.

Dr. Price is probably one of the best instructors that I have ever had. He has a talent for breaking down complex concepts and making them easy to understand without loosing content. He never hesitates to meet with student after class, and he takes joy in being able to answer the most bazar, odd, and off topic medical questions that students ask.

I honestly didn't get that much interaction with him since it was an online class and the reading is from a book, the homework is online labs, and the exams are in the testing center. But he did respond to a few of my emails, though usually took a couple days to do so. You need the study guide and access to the labs, but not the actual book.

Honestly there aren't too many professors better than Price. He makes hard concepts seem a lot more simple. Pathophysiology is just tough by nature and getting an A is hard but he'll do what he can to see you succeed. It looks like I'm not the only one who thinks Price is fantastic.

You have usually 3 sections to read and do homework on and then a test on those sections. He posts lectures online and gives you little ways/stories to remember terms. Funny and answers emails quickly!

Price is the BEST! I loved his class. He is the most loved teacher at weber state. Highly recommend if you are going into the medical field. I hardly showed up and I got an A in the class.

My 1110 professor didnt provide lecture videos and I barely passed, but I was so much more successful when I had lecture videos. The tests are pretty tough but the study guide you can buy helps a lot. Dr Price is very quick and thorough to respond to emailed questions.

He is very organized; for online students, this is a must! He's hilarious. This class is mainly tests and a lab quiz to go along with lab. He prepares you really well for the tests.

You will have a lot of tests but if you watch the lectures, study the study guide, and read the textbook, you should be fine! I took his online class and it was really convenient and his lectures were entertaining.

Highly recommend going to class, even though it's attendance based. The way he lectures is very helpful for visual learners. He draws on the power points to help better understand the material. I took from both Chug and Price and would recommend Price over Chug even, even though they are both great. Make sure to put a lot of time aside to study.

Dr. Price is AMAZING!!! I took HTHS 1110,1111 from him but couldn't get him for Patho- Talked to professor Chugg and was able to get Dr. Prices lectures for 2230. This was my very first college class, I am very glad to have started with Travis. He was very responsive to my emails his lectures were not mundane and boring he had allot of personal stories to bring things together, at least for me. All HTHS 1110/1111 professors use the same outline, slides, and objectives so expectations are clear. An exam every week. He is helpful to all of his students and the material is hard but not impossible. Study guides in this class are a gem, make sure to understand your objectives and the tests should be rather simple. Lots of memorization and a cumulative final.

Honestly the class itself is just difficult but Price teaches in a way that is easy to understand and gives you tricks to help you remember. I took It online. There is a lot of memorizing and reading but when you get word parts, suffixes, and prefixes down, its really easy to understand the terms from other chapters. The textbook is in smartbook online and its a really helpful system. This was by far my favorite class I took this semester. He answered my emails in a timely manner.

This class is difficult, but Price is extremely helpful and wants you to succeed. Every module has a lab quiz and an exam. The textbook is pretty useless, but the study guide is a must. Price throws together exam reviews and exam pre-tests. Lastly, his lectures are amazing. I recommend them over the objective lectures.

Travis Price is a decent man. He makes the class a welcoming environment to learn, and he makes his test strait forward and teaches right out of the study guide.

TAKE THIS CLASS. I took hths from Weber from other professors and did not do well. I chose to take it with Price to switch it up and did a lot better. His lectures are easy to understand and he drops a lot of hints. I got mid 90% on most exams.

Travis Price has by far been my favorite professor to date at Weber State! I have had him for Anat/Phys 1111, and for Patho, and they were both my favorite classes! This is a fairly difficult class, but with his teaching style, he makes things very relatable, using examples for complicated material that is easy to understand. Love him!!

Price is one of the best professor's I've ever had, and I had him just before/during the pandemic. You can tell he really cares about his students, even in large class sizes of HTHS 1110/1111. These courses do require a lot of studying outside of class, but he makes it seem a lot more manageable. He uses lots of analogies to help you grasp ideas.

After 1 semester in Dr. Price's class for 1110 I had to get into his class again for 1111 because he's amazing! He cares about what he teaches. I don't normally post on Rate My Professor but I feel the need to say that this is the best professor I had in this college. He made the lectures interesting, funny, and engaging. His lectures were never dry and he made you critically think about concepts in class. He tells a lot of stories that will help you remember things for the exams.

I did not understand an assignment and what most professors would do is tell me to "read the instructions again", Price made a video walkthrough of how to do it and I am so grateful I had him! There is an open book quiz almost every week, and the midterm and final are closed book, but only focus on the previous 5 chapters.

I took Dr. Price's Patho course online. He recorded his class lectures for this semester, so I was able to watch those on my own time. He is great at explaining difficult concepts. Most of your grade is based on exams, so you will need to study. This course is difficult, but if you put in the time, you'll do great! I would 100% take him again.

The main portion of your grade is the midterm and final, the only two exams. You will have weekly (ish) open note quizzes and small easy assignments throughout the week.

Also, there are 2 proctored tests and I highly recommend taking them at testing center to avoid getting a zero + having to retake the test because of proctorio flagging something small
