Taking Professor Seegmiller's law class is the best thing you can do for yourself! He relates the text to his real life experiences making the class more enjoyable and easy to understand. I loved his class. It was tough but there was never once a surprise as to what would be on a test or anything like that. He knows his stuff and teaches in a way that isn't the same old "study-take test-forget material" that I've always encountered in other classes.

Great class. Went into this semester thinking it was just another business class and for the first week or two it was. After sticking through the first two weeks the class became much more interesting. Seegmiller applied everything we were studying in class to real life situations. First day this class seemed scary and a lot of work but it was actually pretty fun and not too stressful. The grading is very fair and if you pay attention you'll get an A. He is really dedicated to the students success which is great. I wouldn't choose another professor to take bus law from, especially because of his real life experience.

Tough but Fair. If you work hard, and follow the syllabus, you'll get a good grade. Don't be worried about the rumors that his classes are extremely difficult, because he will work with you immensely to make sure you understand the material. Once he stayed until 11:00pm in office hours just to make sure that he met with all the students.

Listen closely to his stories, dress up everyday to save your grade, don't be nervous about your presentations, he's very forgiving. Willing to help you with anything! Tests are difficult... But so is life so just show up, pay attention, take notes, read a lil, and you'll be alright!

Great professor makes you actually like studying law!

This class is very easy to ace. Come to every class, do the reading, and prepare for test. He lectures are very interesting and will help you to remember the materials. You have to be completely incompetent in order to fail this class.

Don't mistake his easygoing in class for the tests. Tests are harder than you might expect from class. However, you are allowed to take a constitutional booklet with you to the tests with any notes you can squeeze into it. Very willing to help. Make appts for office hours, don't try to just catch him. LOTS of extra credit available. Recommended.

Travis is a well respected instructor with a plethora of experience - which helps immensely. At first, he was extremely intimidating but sticking through it was totally worth it. He wants to be your friend and offers an incredible amount of extra credit if life gets in the way. Do your best and you will be rewarded.

He is a good professor. The class isn't as hard as it seems like it will be when it first starts. The couple weeks of class seemed really overwhelming but as time went on, I realized that much work or too difficult.

To do well in this class you will need to attend class and read the texts. The online quizzes help a lot too. There is also some extra credit available.

Professor Seegmiller is a respected and a rather odd individual but I would like to point out the fact that he is dedicated to his students. He will literally go over key concepts of the test. The Constitution booklet and BVT Labs will be your best friend in the class. Take enough time to work on your presentation because it really matters to him.

Definitely take this class!!! This guy really truly cares about his students and this was more valuable to me than any of the information I learned. This class was not hard at all, but I learned a lot. He has tons of super cool and funny stories. This was the one class that I didn't miss even once.

Solid class with pertinent information for anyone looking to enter the business field. Has many great stories that are directly related to the subject. Also gives you many ways to be successful in and out of the class. And is the only the teacher that I have seen pull off the old school baseball cap which is impressive in it's self.

Tough but fair. A LOT of important content for future executives. He's genuinely interested in helping us excel, but his classes are so FULL that sometimes it can be hard to get much individual attention if you are not called-on that day. He was always available to me after class & during office hours. Earnest, energetic, caring and kind.

Travis and this class were the main reasons that I landed my dream job. He wrote me recommendations and advised me constantly about getting the best jobs. He helped me network and also got me a great internship using his unreal connections. This guy is the real deal. Take the time to get to know him and then his intense style won't bother you.

Seegmiller is a great professor. He makes a boring topic interesting by throwing in personal stories (even though they could be made up). Just dont expect more. He tries to pump you up by talking up his projects. Theyre all smoke in mirrors. His ego far outweighs his actual ambitions with respect to helping students in their career.

I took this class b/c Dr. Seegmiller is the highest rated prof. on this site at DSU. I'm not Pre-Law, but this class has turned out to be perfect. Read all the student reviews about this guy, below, very carefully, because they give a good picture of what you can expect. Took this class bc it was required for my major, ended up being my favorite class I've taken at DSU. This guy is amazing, and I found class enjoyable with his stories. Colorful guy with a lot of real-world experience. Go over the chapter vocab before class and he'll reinforce the theories in class. Totally possible to get an A with a little work.

Seegmiller is a fantastic teacher. On test he allows you to bring in a cue card. I struggle with test and math, but after each test I have gone over questions I missed. Each time he has always given me a few extra points. He knows the test can be confusing. Really willing to work with you, easy to get in contact with, and understands life happens.

Professor Seegmiller is my favorite professor I have ever had. He's had so many experiences that give him immense and unique credibility and his genuine care for his students is so evident. He will bend over backwards for anybody. Whether Business Law is super pertinent to your degree or not, I 100% recommend it and anything else taught by him!

What an awesome teacher! This class is pretty hard, but if you read (which you will do a lot of) you will do great. Seegmiller gives ample opportunity to receive the grade you feel you deserve and invaluable insight into real life. He is hilarious and such a great person to be around. INSPIRATIONAL! Professor Seegmiller's math class is the best class I have ever taken. He is engaging and helps explain math in a way that makes sense. I am usually not very good at math but he helped me to have a good understanding of the material. I would definitely take his class again.
