Tubre is awesome! Very funny and makes the course fun and interesting. Take the course just for the professor.

Tubre incorporates interesting and every-day situations with his teachings to make the class fun and intriguing (and so it makes more sense!). He is a great guy to get to know personally and I'd recommend this class. I learned A LOT from him. Gavin and Amber are cute, too!

Tubre is a wonderful prof! His class was one of the few classes I had this semester that I didn't dread going to for an hour and a half. He tells great stories, and makes the content interesting and true to real life situations. One of my favorite profs by far!

his class was my favorite all semester! he's funny and hot!! he's makes his lectures interesting and even tho i had him for a 3 hour class it was so much fun and i didn't hate goin to his class. take him if ur gonna take psych!!!!

I took the 3 hour jterm class with Tubre and normally cant even stay awake in an hour long class but there is no doubt he kept my attention between stories and VERY interesting discussions!

he is a great teacher. i would recommend him to any one. my favorite teacher on campus. his tests are hard but if you pay attention in class and read the book you will do well. we had some VERY interesting and funny discussions in class and it definetely not boring!!! TAKE HIM IF YOU GET THE CHANCE

I loved this class. If you attend class regularly and study for the tests, you can get good grades. There are also lots of opportunities for extra credit. You will not be bored in this class! :)

He's nice, but his lectures are kind of dull. He talks about sex almost constantly, and that annoyed me so much that I stopped going to class. He offers a lot of extra credit and the exams are easy. However, on the first day he informed us that most of us would get less than a C.

Very interesting discussion, keeps attention the duration. Read the book and attend class. Practice your singing too.

You need to go to his class to really get the big picture. He ties things together very well and uses interesting examples to make his points. Great sense of humor and he cares about his students.

As long as you study for the tests, you will do well. He is also an extremely interesting person and teaches well. Definitly take Travis!

Travis is simply THE GREATEST! Lots to be learned from any one of his classes. He uses terrific examples that regularly include sexuality--always keeps class VERY interesting. Plus I heard from... somewhere... that he might start giving away condoms to good students! (Trojans!) Now that's an incentive no other professor can match. Travis ROCKS!

Dry material, but Travis keeps things as interesting as he can. Attendance not mandatory, but def recommended to go to every class. His office door is always open if you need help with your experiment or research paper.

Very helpful teacher. Lectures are great. I will miss the course. I don't know where he comes up with his examples but they're hilarious.

Tubre is an excellent teacher. He effectively teaches using various techniques (lecturing, using the whiteboard, using powerpoint, using videos). I'd highly recommend taking any psychology class with him :-)

By far one of the greatest teachers in the UWRF system. Great lectures and just a teacher that loves his job. If all possible take Tubre for Psych you will not regret it!

I really enjoyed Dr. Tubre's class. He explains the course concepts fully and has a lot of knowledge on the material he teaches. Read the assigned readings and study the powerpoints and you will do well on the tests.

Makes the class fun with by telling stories that tie in with the material. He did a good job explaining things and I highly suggest you take a class with him!!

Overall I think he is a great professor because he is funny and interesting to listen to, but he's kind of a jerk.

I really enjoyed this Psyc class I took. He was funny and easy to follow. He made himself very available to people and he also gave a lot of extra credit. I will take him again if I have the chance.

Travis is an excellent teacher. he really knows how to get to his students' levels. he makes everything very clear and very understandable.

Great professor, very interesting

This class was the most difficult I've had with him. The material is complicated, but he explains it in a clear way. Make sure to study a lot. He is a helpful and engaging teacher.

Travis Tubre is an excellent professor. He has a clear understanding of the material and professes it in a way which is easy to understand. If you have a serious question he is more than willing to help and he will meet with you in his office whenever he has time. I highly recommend him for anyone in the psychology department.

His power points only have main points so you'll have to write down some stuff he says. But I never looked at the book except for the paper we wrote. TONS OF OPPORTUNITIES FOR EXTRA CREDIT. He's really funny...and understands that were college kids and what goes on. He's really cool and I would recommend taking his class.

Class was put together in a way that made it very easy for me to follow and do at my own pace. I didn't meet the teach since it was online, but he seemed really nice in our online and email communications. I would definitely recommend this class because I've had other online classes that were terrible. This one is fun and the guy is friendly

This is hard material. Tubre brought it down to our level. I didn't expect to enjoy the class but really did!

Tubre was fair and funny. Class was much better than I expected. Tubre helped me feel like I could learn the material even though there were parts that were harder than what I thought I could do.

Intro to Psych was my favorite class last semester! He made it fun by using connections that we understood. It was very entertaining, and I learned a lot. The tests are NOT hard, you have to study for them, but the wording is easy. Highly recommend Tubre!

The class is hard but I learned more from it than from any other psychology class. I never thought I would enjoy a class with so much math. Tubre makes it so tied to daily life as far as how testing affects me.

Took his online course because I needed summer credits. It was really well organized and he was incredibly helpful. I had a week where I was out of town and he created a custom schedule for me for that week. I would recommend this course to others looking for an online course.

Travis is a great professor but he is very opinionated, which most professors are. He is cocky about his accomplishments, it gets annoying after awhile. The tests are pretty hard but if you go to lectures every day you will do well (A or B range).

If you want a teacher that grades you for knowing the actual material he assigns, take his classes. He isnt afraid to speak the truth when needed. Ive never been to a class that i didnt feel like i could engage in. One of my favorite because hes straight to the point. And amazing advisor.

He is a very good teacher! You can skip class as much as you want, but it makes it harder to fully understand the material. You will probably have to read your book too. Overall it was a pretty good class and he was a nice guy! The tests do need to be studied for quite a bit.

Our material was really interesting. There was a lot of practical info about how tests affect us and those around us. Tubre is funny, even for very hard parts of the class.

Go to class! It isn't mandatory but he tells you info that will be on the exams that isn't in the book. In my opinion you didn't need to read the book if you took good notes in class. The class is graded on 3 exams. Go to class the day he hands back the exams because he has an extra credit quiz after you go through it.

Tubre is a very inspiring teacher and took the time to help me through a tough situation this sememster.

He is a really good professor and gives a lot of information in class. If you dont come to class, then you will probably do poorly on the exams. Just be ready to listen and be questioned about the topics discussed in class. This class was the hardest of the semester but the work paid off.

Professor Tubre is teaching in a very caring way with chances for students to attend in person or online. Hes supportive with deadlines and really seems to care about how we are all doing. His approach is helpful to me in a really tough time.

Dr. Tubre is a well-respected and generally liked professor within the Psychology Department at UW-RF. His teaching style is entertaining. You will do well in the class if you attend and study the material. When I took Measurement and Evaluation with him, he had a T.A. that met with students before the exams to do prep and this was SO helpful!

Professor Tubre is a very nice guy! He really cares about helping you do well in class. His lectures could be viewed in class or online, and is even recorded to view later. There are very few assignments, between 5-6. Try to do well on the first two tests. He usually always has a TA so go to their study sessions to help study for the tests.

I took his online class and have never met him in person, but he was thorough and considerate. He was also responsive. The quizzes were a bit challenging, but if you understood the material, you should be fine. There are not many assignments and are manageable for those who work.

Travis is an excellent professor, he truly knows his stuff. Very smart man and is good at what he does. Attendance isn't taken, but you need to show up to do good & make sure you grasp the topics covered. A little challenging, but I wouldn't say hard.

I have this teacher for introduction to psychology through the UW system. Even though the class is online I have never had a teacher who is more caring and supportive. I've gotten more feedback, encouragement and support from this teacher than any others I've had so far even in classes that aren't online. Highly recommend this teacher.

I took PS101 online for an early college credit class. Professor Tubre was wonderful; and very caring, provided awesome feedback on every assignment, and gave a very reasonable amount of homework. I would recommend taking any course with him.
