Very funny, always willing to help, made Calculus very easy to understand, which isn't an easy thing to do.

This guy is a breeze, don't listen to the cry babies. Anyone talking this course should know some basic math and that's really all u need. He teaches the new stuff very clearly and is very clear about how he'll test. I highly recommend him and I'd take him again for another math if I could.

Is o.k. Takes time to try to help you understand. Very nice to look at, but probably wouldn't take him again because he doesn't give pratice questions for the tests.

skeen is the man. he is a brick wall and hardly shows emotion but he's funny when he does. try to get this class if you can. i'd take him again but i hate math.

Great professor. Very approachable if you have questions. Tests are reasonable. If you are already good at math, he lets you do your thing. Always has study sessions before tests if you need that extra help. Has a lot of potential in the teaching profession. Take him if you can.

Mr. Skeen was an alright teacher. he was very helpful but he kind of taught fast. Didn't review over all the material. Many people failed. He's not interested in his students at all.

Yeah he's hot, but he sucks at teaching in class. He is an easy teacher and I would say he's better teaching one on one but explaining things to a group just didn't seem like his thing. If you were good at algebra in high school it is an easy A(you don't have to show up much either). If you aren't good with math you better ask for help after class!

You don't have to do any homework. He never takes roll so you dont really have to go to class either. He teaches really well in my opinion.

taught constantly from beginning to end no breaks nothing walked in with the marker in his hand did not put cap on it until 1 minute before class was over. but he is pretty hot!

He is very good teacher pretty easy if you just review his notes and study. He doesn't ever take the homework up and never takes roll so u don't ever have to go to class. But he does teach non stop and never lets u go early. All and all i would def. take him again because he was good and HOTT too!

easy teacher. hardly ever does take attendance. if it weren't for his random quizzes, I'd just come on test days since he gives you test dates and the chapters that are going to be on the tests.

He is nice looking and I found that he is a nice person. His fault is that he assumes everyone just graduated High School and that isn't fair to older students. He is very helpful, though if you just let him know you need help.

Professor Skeen is a great teacher. He explains things really clear. The night or morning before a test, I just ran over examples he gave when going over the lessons and always made at least an 85. I came out with an A in the class. I would highly recommend taking him. Very nice teacher as long as you don't get a smart mouth with him. TAKE HI

Yes he isn't bad to look at, but he is a really good teacher. He will answer any question you have and his quizzes are really simple if you do the homework. As long as you write down everything he does, you should do good in the class.

He is very blunt, which can seem sarcastic. He is brilliant and it shows in his teaching, which is clear and helpful. The tests are very fair as long as you do the effort of homework.

I think he is a great professor. I would recommend him to my friends for sure! Plus, he is hot! I was told that during his time at UGA he posed nude for an art class. I'd love to see that sketch!

Mr. Skeen is the best. Really helped me a lot. I came from foreign country (Russia) and he was always willing to work with me. He was particularly helpful during office hours. Definitely take this class.

Do not be late. Wants you to suceed. My low scores are my fault not his. I made stupid mistakes on tests. Yes, there are quizes every day. Good teacher but not for slackers. You will not slide by in the class you have to put in a lot of effort. IT IS MATH hello!

Mr. Skeen is a great instructor and a great guy. Attendance is required and being on time is a must. But, overall he is great. In response to to him posing nude at UGA, more power to him. He has the body!! I saw him in shorts once :). I've always wondered if he has a hairy chest!!! Definitely hot

This class is not hard if you had prior experience to Algebra in high school (most should have...) He teaches at a quick pace, but it is not hard to understand at all. He does not take up homework, but you should do it because some test questions come specifically from the textbook. I passed with a 99, not hard with the 10 extra points on tests.

This man is the reason im outta algebra finally..the first test I slacked off and got a 30 but i kept gettin 80's there afterand then he drops the lowest of you four test grades so make sure you be there for the test..makes math seem so simple..quizzes are from basically from the book so do the HW..take him i recommend it..

He is kind of cocky but I thought he was really good at explaining. His tests are pretty easy, just a lot of memorizing. The homework was not always representative of the material we covered in class.

I think Professor Skeen did a great job with his lectures. His class was an extension of my high school Algebra II class and his tests were very representative of what he taught us in class. I would definitely recommend him to anyone. Plus, he's very easy on the eyes!!!! Go UGA art students!!!!!!!

Professor Skeen was a wonderful teacher who knew his math. His lectures were very clear, representing everything on the tests. Do your homework so you can stay on top of everything. And he is SMOKIN HOT! (my friend took him 3 times in classes she didnt need just bc hes a stud)

I had professor Skeen during spring semester and he was amazing! He explained the material clearly during class and was always willing to help during his office hours. Plus he is HOT. I can understand why he was asked to be a nude model in college--he is very fit and handsome. Maybe he'll consider doing it at ASU :).

He had to be my worst math teacher that i have ever had in my life. He will go over like ten to fifteen chapters then he will say you have a test the following week. The test are only ten questions and no partial credit. He can't explain anything right, and he writes sloppy so it is sometimes hard to see what he is writing.

He's a really clear teacher, nice and funny too. The people that give him bad ratings have to be from the same idiots that i had in my math class. He doesn't require hw or the book for the class. he gives pop quizzes, but doesnt take attend. SHOW UP, or you'll take 0's for the quizzes. he drops the lowest test grade and the 3 lowest quizzes.takehim

Has an odd way of explaining things. Kind of an odd guy but seems to know what he is talking about. Does not require to do the homework but probably will help to get a good grade.

I thought professor skeen was a cool guy. I completely forgot to do the first quiz and still ended up with an A in the class. He is always willing to help. He does move pretty quickly but other than that he is a good professor. He is also pretty funny. (Math humor funny)

I had taken Skeen for Pre-Calc last semester and ended up with an A. I decided to take him again for Calculus and had a hard time. He does not check homework. His explanations are sort of weird. Pretty nice guy and will help you if you go to him and ask for it.

He is the best math teacher I have ever taken

Professor Skeen is amazing. He constantly checks in with the class ("Are you okay?") and really knows what he is talking about. He is funny (in a math way), but he can still relate math to those who don't easily understand. Follow his simple instructions (read this, do your homework) and you will love his class. I'd definitely recommend him!

Math in general has never been easy for me, however, he made sure that everyone in the class understood how to work every problem. The homework is optional, but if you do that and go to SI sessions, you should be able to get at least a B without any extra effort.

I came out of high school one of the bests at math. This course was very difficult. You do have to do work and study the work. Anything is fair game on tests and quizzes so you have to know everything. They aren't the easier problems either. Have to know what is going on and keep up.

He is a great math professor. He tries to get you to think about comprehending the problem and not just solving the problem. He will explain in detail how to solve a problem if you are confused. He may seem like he is treating you like your dumb but in the end it will help you a lot if you are not good in math like me. I HIGHLY recommend him!!

took him over the summer 2013 and he was a okay teacher. He gives you extra credit by doing the homework He also gives extra points.go over the homework and come in with questions so he can help you. The class is fast pace so you have to keep up. I took Math 1111 before and failed, but when I took him over the summer and passed with a B.

He is a good teacher. He helps you with the problems and breaks down everything so it's easier for you to understand. He always welcomes you to talk during office hours. He is very energetic during class.

Although Mr. Skeen isn't as efficient as my Calc I teacher, I think he is a decent instructor. Your grade will be proportional to the amount of work you put in. Take it seriously. Even though this will most likely be the most challenging math course you will take, an A is attainable if you really work. A lot of tests ?'s are from the textbook.

Tough teacher, but it didn't help that I spent the entire class sessions dreaming of what his Red Room looks like... Best advice, go to his office hours.

A lot of people complaining about him probably didn't put any work into the class. He allows extra credit if you do the mymathlab work and there's always questions on the test that are similar to the homework. He explains everything crystal clear and takes any questions. Made a 100 in this class, he was such a great teacher.

Students in my class would complain but honestly Professor Skeen was straight-forward with everything and always urged students to come to office hours. I went to office hours when I could or had a pressing question and he was always super helpful.
