He is a great Humanites teacher. He makes learning about art fun. He makes great study guides. He is the kind of professor that jokes in class and is always smiling. He gives you a second chance if you screw up:)
being an artist himself he knows what hes talking about, and talks about it with a passion. the lecture are kinda boring but interesting.we only wrote 2 papers 3 pgs each and personal responses on the reading. even if u dont like art i recommend him.
HE WAS A REALLY GREAT TEACHER. YOU ONLY HAVE TO DO TWO PAPERS IN HIS CLASS, BUT BASICALLY YOU MAKE IT ALL YOUR OWN BECAUSE IT'S WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT THE PAINTING JUST AS LONG AS YOU GET BACKED UP WITH RESEARCH. HIS CLASS IS ALOT OF FUN!!! I LEARNED ALOT!

Teaches about the art only. Really cool guy! Very funny and has a good sense of humor. Easy A!!!
I really enjoyed his class, we had fun, which was an important thing. He shares his own art, which is cool, and he allows for group discussion. He's a good teacher, and I recommend him to others!
I loved Mr. Tomengo's class! He is so funny, and he makes learning fun. I never had a boring day in his class, and he's cool because he wants YOUR opinion of the artist. The test's are pretty easy too. Take him!
TRENT TOMENGO ROCKS!!! AFRICAN AMERICAN HUMANITIES IS A VERY INTERESTING CLASS AND VERY FUN. DON'T MISS THIS CLASS. AT FIRST THE ART WORK WASN'T EXCITING BUT IT'S GETS BETTER. LOOK AT YOUR OWN HISTORY. THIS CLASS ROCKS...
Professor Tomengo is the man!! This guy is brillant about art and paintings. He loves what he does and provides his students with plenty of help and support. Very fair person and OUTSTANDING teacher. Why cant SCC have more teachers like Trent Tomengo?? YOU ARE THE MAN!!!
Tomengo is a genius when it comes to art. There are only 2 tests where you have to memorize stuff (hardest thing about the class) and 2 projects where you write your opinion about an artist (sounds hard, it's not). The rest of the class is lecture where he somehow finds stuff like aliens and sexual themes in 17/18th century art. Very entertaining!!
Professor Tomengo is A MUST professor to have. He has a gift of drawing you in to be interested in whatever it is that he is teaching about. His class is very organized and he cares about his students. HE IS THE BEST TEACHER EVER! - I'm not kidding, he's the best! HAVE NO DOUBTS - take the class.
Mr. Tomengo's style of teaching is very unique. He has a way of making the material interesting and funny. He makes learning the material fun and captivating. I highly recommend!!
He won't teach the humanities, just the art relating to his subject, but once you accept that he's awesome! I learned more about art from him than everywhere else together. He really has passion, helps students, and is clear. Warning, be sure you memorize well for the two tests.
He's very fun. He likes to poke fun at paintings just make the class laugh, but he has his serious side too, he just doesn't show it as often. All in all, I would reccommend everyone to take one of his classes!
His love for art radiates through him. He is very inspiring and a wonderful teacher...I am glad I had him as a teacher.
Great teacher, hilarious. Definitely would recommend!! :)
He is a GREAT teacher... really knows how to catch his students attention! I had no interest in this class to, it turned out to be my favorite class of the semester. I have already signed up for another one of his classes. He is a very fair teacher. Really cares about his students. I highly recommend taking any of Professor Tomengo's classes
the best teacher i have ever had
I love this professor. He is honest and real and he says what's on his mind. I would love to take another class with him.
Mr. Tomengo is the best! His class is always fun; he make you want to come to class! He's is understanding and will do his best to help you out, no matter what kinda rut your in. I did all my humanities classes with him, and i'm glad i did! Take him!!
I can honestly say Prof. Tomengo is one of my favorite teachers I have ever had! I took Renaissance/Baroque Humanities with him and I will definitely be taking the rest of my humanities classes with him! I always looked forward to his class, and I never missed one day. I definitely reccomend him for any humanities class! He's a GREAT teacher!!
I absolutely loved this class!! Best teacher i have ever had. He really makes learning fun. You won't want to miss a day. Will take him again for sure! One thing is for sure you will laugh in his class.
Mr. Tomengo is a GREAT teacher! He is so helpful. I had trouble with starting one of my papers, and he guided me step by step. You rarely find teachers like him. He is highly recommended. In addition, he is surely on my favorite teachers list.
professor Tomengo is a one of a kind. He loves what he does and makes you love what he teaches. He is very helpful, very clear, takes time to make sure everyone is on point. There are a couple of papers to be done in his class, he loves to have class discussions and you have to respond to the reading assignments. This class is fairly easy to pass i
BEST TEACHER EVER! WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM TO EVERYONE!!
HE IS A WONDERFUL TEACHER AND YOU WILL NEVER GET BORED IN HIS CLASS. HE GOES OVER THE MATERIAL TO HELP YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT WILL BE ON THE TEST AND IF YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW TO DO A PAPER HE WILL HELP YOU PERSONAL. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CLASS FOR EVERYONE EVEN IF YOU DO NOT NEED IT BECUASE YOU WILL LEARN THINGS YOU THINK YOU ALREADY KNEW :)
Mr Tomengo is an awesome teacher. Classroom discussions are lively and very interesting. He says what he wants to without sugar coating it. VERY FUNNY GUY! LOVED THIS CLASS. Try to GOOGLE his name.
This teacher has some hard tests (dates for like 50 works of art), but I learned SO much from this class that it was totally worth the 300 bucks. I would strongly recommend EVERYONE interested in art to take him. He's an amazing teacher who keeps you awake and interested and basically spells out the info for you. He's amazing and high recommended!
This is by far the best teacher at SCC. Not easy though. Test are difficult but class is awesome and time goes by fast! If you want get your moneys worth for a class... definitely take him!!!
This is the funniest and nicest guy teaching at SCC. He is very energetic and makes you interested in the art. Fantastic teacher! You do have to memorize like 100 paintings (name, artist, date, medium) but it is a lot easier than you think it will be.
Mr. Tomengo has to be one of the best teachers at SCC. I had no interest in the subject whatsoever, but he made the art fun. He's willing to work with you if you are having personal issues as long as you have documentation. He allows his students to debate and question everything. Plus, he is absolutely hilarious!! Never a dull moment in his class.
He's definitely one of the better teachers at SCC, but far from the best. He makes class fun, but I didn't really enjoy his class because many times his arguments were not really valid - also, he constantly makes unfunny, rude and sometimes obscene remarks and jokes. Over all, he's easy but not professional and not a teacher you'd expect in college
he rocks. the class was very dynamic. mr. tamengo is a great teacher. if you need to take an honors humanities, take a class with him. he will make you work but he will help you also.
This guy is so awesome!!! i absoulutely love his classes!!! i took him for african american humanities then again for renaissance which i hate that subject but i took it because i love his teaching style and his enthusiasm. he is so lively, realistic and funny. i would recommend him to anyone and i think he deserves teacher of the year award!!!
Very good teacher. Loves teaching and it shows. Goes by syllabus. Very organized and on point. Very informative, discussion based class. Take Tomengo!
This class is really hard, lots of slide memorization. Does not make you remember too many #'s. 2 essays that he grades pretty hard. i'm a good student and worked hard but i got a B. very good teacher, very passionate and loves his job. all art majors should take this class, much more fun than art history. I took the night class and loved it.
I didn't think Medieval Humanities would be interesting, but Professor Tomengo made it just plain fun - he comes up with ideas that make the material memorable. I look at buildings differently now because of his descriptions in class on architecture and style.
By far my favorite teacher ever. Never in my life have I met a teacher who is more passionate about their subject. The tests are quite difficult, simply because you have to memorize dates. Even if you don't get all the dates right you can still pass. He's awesome and he really taught me how to appreciate art. Take him, you'll learn something.
Mr. Tomengo is the type of teacher whom inspires you to want more from what you have learned. I am enlightened by the things which I had no idea where sterotypes being used still today. Anyone whom wants to learn things which can be used even years after should take his class. It's worth it.
awesome teacher. very passionate about what he is teaching. willing to help with anything. if you come to class pay attention take notes no way u wont pass. he makes class fun.!
Professor Tomengo delivers a university level quality of education at a community college rate. He stimulates your thoughts and makes you question your inner self. You will leave his class with questions on things you thought you had the answers for. He's great. I would take him again, just to pick his brain!!!
I really did not like Tomengo's class, couldn't wait for the semester to be over. The class really is not hard, except for the papers you have to write. He doesn't even know what he wants on the papers. first paper I got a F..2nd paper I got a D..and I know for a fact that i shouldn't have received that. He isn't a good teacher
Not sure about the previous comments, he is an excellent professor. I would take him again, given the chance. If you want to learn and have fun while doing it, you should take him. One of the best classes I've taken yet! It doesn't matter if you are white or not, this is a college level class taught with an exceptional professor.
TOMENGO IS THE BEST TEACHER THAT I'VE EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE.I LOOKED FORWARD TO ALL THE CLASS DISCUSSIONS.HE'S A VERY OUTSPOKEN BUT FUNNY MAN. VER SMART AND KNOWS HIS MATERIAL.DON'T TAKE THE CLASS IF YOU DON'T WANT TO WORK OR IF YOU ARE EASILY OFFENDED.AS FOR ME,I PLAN TO TAKE EVERY CLASS THAT I CAN WITH HIM.KEEP UP THE OUTSTANDING WORK MAN!
He honestly is the best instructor that I have encountered at SCC- If you are here to go to COLLEGE then take his class. You can't be a slacker but you can really learn alot from his lessons. And besides he is freakn hillarious! Nice guy and very helpful~ He loves his work and you will appreciate it by the end of the semester too! Thanks Mr.T
he is an awesome teacher and he really cares about his students. He always makes himself available if you need help. You fail this class or even get c or d it's because you choose to. I loved it!
Every day I am looking foward this class. It is very interesting and exiting. He loves his job and put a lot of passion into it.
I took his Honors African American course and it was amazing! He is provocative and interesting. I absolutely loved it. He is one of my fav professors
Fun guy, speaks his mind, very smart man; his is a very interesting teacher i enjoyed his class. I plan on taking him again
awesome teacher...not too much work...but he makes it soooo interesting...and you actually want to come to class everyday...come to class participate do ur homework and you'll pass!!!!
HE IS A GREAT PROFESSOR....JUST MAKE SURE YOU GO TO CLASS AND DO THE WORK....HE GRADES A LITTLE HARSH BUT IT JUST MAKES YOU WRITE BETTER...I ENJOYED HIS CLASS AND HE MADE HIS CLASS INTERESTING AND FUN..I LEARNED SO MUCH AND ACTUALLY PAID ATTENTION..ITS KIND OF HARD NOT TO HE IS LOUD AND VERY ENTERTAINING! I WOULD TAKE HIM AGAIN IF I HAD THE CHANCE!
All I can say is that he is a great teacher. He treats everyone with the same respect it doesnt matter what the color of your skin is.I am taking his class currently and for those who say that he is an uncle tom or that he wants to see a black person fail...then that person obviously didnt do their work. You do your work..then your fine.
Tomengo is very interesting. haha. I've taken him for African American Humanities and Renaissance/Baroque Humanities and there was never a dull moment. He really knows his stuff. Just overall the best humanities teacher at SCC.

TOMENGO IS THE BEST PROFESSOR I HAVE EVER HAD AT SEMINOLE. WHEN IT WAS TIME TO LEAVE HIS CLASS I WAS ALWAYS SHOCKED IT SEEMED LIKE I WAS THERE FOR TEN MINUTES RATHER THAN AN HOUR AND 15 MIN. HE KEEPS IT INTERESTING THE WHOLE TIME I LOVED THE CLASS AND WAS SAD IT ENDED!! AFRICAN AMERICAN HUMANITIES IS A MUST TAKE CLASS...IT IS THE BEST WITH TOMENGO
Loved his class!! Great teacher!!! He makes class so interesting... It's great to have a teacher who acutally loves what he is doing...
Do NOT believe all the junk written here about him. He is awful teacher as me and friends have noted each semester. Whoever moderates this site has deleted ALL negative comments about him....hmmmm....wonder what they got in return??? BEWARE ALL SMILEY FACES....someone is lying.
Wonderful man, wonderful classes and always a joy to learn from. Very receptive to students despite what people may say. Will give you a chance to point out faults and admits to them if they can be supported. I have taken 2 classes with him and plan to take a 3rd. I don't even need the 3rd class but simply because the man is so educational I will.
This class was by far fun and easy. There was never a day where is calling wasn't interesting. I promise you that when you take his class, you'll never be bored. Overall, he's a fun professor to take and you shouldn't have any problems getting an "A" in this class.
Tomengo was really amazing. He really does make class fun, and he's so funny. His papers are a little tough, and you really do need to study for the tests, but if you come to class everyday, do the homework, and participate, you can still get a decent grade. I'll be taking another class with him, most definitely.
I hated this class. If you have any integrity or moral character do not take this professor.
great professor, very enthusiastic. must buy book and write lots of papers. do your work and attend class, you should get an A
This professor should have his teaching creditionals stripped. He should be fired for his ridiculous ideas. He teaches his beliefs instead of truth. PLEASE NOTE: MOST NEGATIVE MESSAGES ABOUT HIM ARE REMOVED FROM THIS SITE. He states during the first few days of class he checks this site, so I am sure he has EVERYTHING to do with this! Truth hurts!
This profeessor will admit that his job has been put in jeopardy numerous times due to students complaints. Although he has managed to keep it, despite his offensive and belittling teaching methods. He must have a Tenure contract with the school. From my personal experience he does not educate, he discriminates. Be prepared for an offensive class.
This is the EASIEST class by far. You make daily responces based on your opinion, and all the quizes are open book! He's not a **** nor does he contradict himself, he simply play devils advocate for discussion ON PURPOSE and will tell you that! I HIGHLY recommend him! I hated the reading but he explains all the important parts! 2 test, 2 papers.
The class is always interesting. I recommend it for any race! The only thing I can say bad about it was there are two papers but they arent at all hard. There are also 2 test which are easy if your good at memorizing stuff (art work name and artist).
Professor Tomengo is a great teacher. People who call him a ****, are ****s themselves. TRUTH HURTS people. It is simple facts, not made up stuff. For the record, I AM NOT A PERSON OF COLOR. TAKE TRENT TOMENGO, you will not be sorry!
He was very good.
I took his Ren/Baroque Humanities class and it was so much fun. In-class was easy, only two tests, which (if you studied for) weren't that hard, I got a B on both. He has quizzes after every reading which add up, and two papers to write which I failed because... well they were ridiculously hard.
GREAT PROF. VERY INTERRESTING CLASS BUT ALOT OF WORK A QUIZ ALMOST EVERY CLASS 2 MAJOR TEST AND 2 MAJOR PAPERS OTHER THAN THAT LOVED THE CLASS
Tomengo is by far the BEST professor I have had in my college career. His classes are a LOT of fun, but don't be fooled because they are HARD. I highly recommend attending every class and taking detailed notes if you want to do well in ANY of his classes. He also uses the book a lot so you have to buy it AND read it if you plan to do well on tests!
This professor is excellent. If you are intelligent and open minded you will understand his method. He is passionate abt truth and clearly explains to u when he's stating his opinion. Is quizzes are easy is grading is hard but he offers extra credit. His religion is no concern to me I don't waver in my believe. Yet he mensions thgs in the Bible we over look and don't want to know. He shows u art some may be graphic like exposed bdy parts & dark story lines by white respected artists. Go figure!!
A fantastic teacher. He tells you exactly what to do and know to succeed in the class.
GREAT Teacher, not only will you only fail unless you want to, you will find interest in things you never thought really mattered. A true eye opener! Mr. Tomengo makes it FUN!
Great teacher, grades papers really hard, but if you do good on the quizzes and go to class you will get an A.
Professor Tomengo is the best professor I've had at Seminole State! I loved going to his class & really felt robbed because it took mit during the summer. He had to cut material because classes are shorter. If I could take it again, I'd do it! There's variety with his teaching style; he doesn't just lecture. More professors should adopt his style!
Very wonderful teacher!! Totally knows the arts of these time periods!! Enjoyed class everyday, wanting to come to class. A lot of memorization to be done for his tests, but a worth while memorizing. You will come out of the class an art genius. Great Professor. Highly recommended!
100% Great teacher! he teaches i took his AA Humanities course and I DEFINITELY will take the renaissance course ONLY because he teaches it. I looked forward to this class and it was my relief after frustrating classes. He tells you what you need do know for tests. No surprises It's an Easy A once YOU make the effort..don't procrastinate on essays!
I loved this class and never missed a day. He is a great professor and he gives you everything you need to get an A on the tests. He grades hard on his papers,so get A's on the test to balance it out if you are not good with papers like me. I got C's on the papers, A's on the tests and finished with an A. He's a rebel but it's sexy!!!!
I looked forward to this class each week! His teaching style should be adapted by other professors! He challenged me more than any other teacher has. I HIGHLY recommend this class!!
An exceptional teacher.. very passionate about his work..say what he means and means what he says. will challenge you to give and be your very best..if you do the work you will succeed..Study hard for test a lot of memorization..he is really sexy too..somewhat a bad boy :)
This class is awesome. Very happy i took this class because i learned a lot. However, this is NOT really an Easy A. 2 research papers and at least one quiz a week on readings with a written response. The tests require a lot of memorization and time. Overall the class is fun and enjoyable.
If you don't like Mr. T, then YOU ARE A FOOL! This man is amazing! He is funny as HECK, knows his info (especially being an artist himself), & is just a great all around guy. Tests are pretty easy if you pay attention. Papers are straight. I'd recommend to anyone, anywhere. This man is freaking amazing. He also teachers mid evil & ren & bar HUM too.
I absolutely loved this class with this teacher. He was funny and imparted a lot of knowledge, if I could take another class with him I would. You must read however, and make sure you read the guidelines for the paper and it's pretty easy so are test just make sure to study. If you at all can, you must take Mr. T.
Mr. Tomengo?s class is a Black Arts class.
He is a good teacher, but personally a mess. He has no time for any of his students, you cant talk to him before or after as he is in a hurry and has no time for anything. He comes to class 10 mins late usually and he is a very baised person and you either love him or hate him. Unorganized.Bad essay choices too.Easy class overall, good experience.
Mr. Tomegooo.!!!! This class was fun & you learn a lot. The 2 papers we had sucked but if you follow the guidelines you will do fine. You have short quizzes after ever reading and it is open book so that is a plus. I failed first test & paper & got an A.! HIGHLY recommended.
Mr. Tomegooo.!!!! This class was fun & you learn a lot. The 2 papers we had sucked but if you follow the guidelines you will do fine. You have short quizzes after readings but its open book so that is a plus. I failed first paper with a 59 & barely passed the first test with a 61 & got an A.! HIGHLY recommended. Participation COUNTS!!
Mr. Tomengo is very nice and knows his stuff but the class is not easy what so ever. It would be in your best interest to start studying the day after the first class, everyday until the test, not joking. Make sure you read the textbook.
BOTH MYSELF AND MY SON TOOK HIS CLASS OVER THE SUMMER OF 2009. WE CAME HOME AND HAD MANY DISCUSSIONS. HOW EXCITING...NOT ONLY WERE I BEING TAUGHT ALL THIS HISTORY ABOUT MY FOREFATHERS BUT ALSO MY SON TOO!PARENTS:MONEY WELL-INVESTED!PUBLIC SCHOOLS DIDN'T TEACH THIS.HOMEWORK EVERYDAY SO YOU MIGHT NOT WANT TO TAKE IT OVER THE SUMMER.VERY REWARDING!
YES,IT'S ME AGAIN!I ALSO TOOK HIS AFRICAN AMERICAN HUMANTITIES CLASS SINCE I ENJOYED HIS AFRICAN AMERICAN HISTORY CLASS.HIS DEDICATION, APPRECIATION,EXPECTATION AND EXHILIRATION ARE ALL HIGH. HE'S NOT TRYING TO WIN A POPULARITY CONTEST.HE KNOWS HIS STUFF AND IS THERE TO TEACH.YOU ARE ALWAYS WELCOMED TO ASK QUESTIONS.HE DOESN'T LOOK OVER YOU. THANKS
I took Tomengo's medieval humanities class and I had no idea what I was in for! He is my favorite teacher by far! I look forward to taking another one of his classes! I got an A, but it was challenging. Make appointments with him if you want a decent grade on your essays.
All I can say is that I highly recommend taking any class he teaches. This man CHANGED MY LIFE. I will never look at the world, politics or my surroundings in the same way. He is brilliant and a genius. People like him are my heroes. Officially my favorite teacher ever.
Mr. Tomego is an awesome teacher. He knows his history and welcomes your opinions as well. He keeps class interesting and has you looking forward to the next class. Don't mistake his funniness and niceness for easiness though. You have reponse papers do ALMOST everyday and there's alot of memorization required; but overall this is a GREAT class!!!!
Tomengo is full of energy and stories, however with that said he has bad time management and goes off on tangents that have nothing to do with the course. He expects every student to meet deadlines but cant seem to meet his own. He grades very difficult on the essays, pointless essays really. I will not be taking any other classes with him.
Tomengo is so much fun! He makes the subjects very interesting and points out everything you need for his tests. Easy class but the quizzes are tough. I would take another class with him.
The professor is very entertaining and very likeable, but the work load and the difficult level of this class are intense. Take this class if you only have time for it. There is a lot of reading and response and the tests are extremely hard.
African american humanities is life changing (even if you aren't black). The good news is attendance and open book quizzes account for 50% of the grade. The bad news is the other half comes from 2 supper hard pointless essays and 2 pretty hard memorization tests.Mr. Tomengo is hilarious which makes the subjects extremely interesting.
This class was good in the sense of voicing your own opinion, however, His assignments were unclear, his paper guidelines were useless. He is a VERY picky teacher. It seems that sometimes he shows favoritism towards other students. Take this class if you are good at being a "Teacher's Pet".
He is very entertaining and there is never a dull moment in class. The material is not difficult but you really have to memorize it. He has 12 open note quizzes (easy), 2 tests (lots of memorization), and two essays (research, pretty diffcult). It is not that bad but he is very picky and expects you to know what he teaches. He is very fun though!:)
I absolutely love Mr. Tomengo, he changed my life. If you are thinking about taking his African American Humanities class, dont think just do it! you wont regret it. You have to devote time to study and NOT write your papers at the last minute.
Mr Tomengo is a great professor. Took his Ren/Baroque humanities, got an A. The class is all lecture, but he is by no means boring. You will write response papers, have quizzes, two artist tests and two papers in his Ren/Bar humanities. If you like history, and like to be taught by people who LIKE what they are teaching, take him.
Dr. T is the man! He knows how to keep us active and learning -- one of the few professors that can do that! You can tell that he cares; and you can see that he enjoys doing what he does. He is an excellent role model. His class isn't that hard either, but he likes to give a challenge; so be prepared.
Excellent teacher. Take good notes from his art slides and put in some time studying, and you shouldn't have any trouble getting a good grade.
I had no interest in a humanities in art history prior to taking it. Turned out to be excellent class! Prof Tomengo is argumentative, tough, and opinionated all of which is to invoke thought! He wants you to learn! Would take him again in a heartbeat!
This man is awesome. I love going to class and hate if I have to miss for any reason. Loves to talk and make a spectacle of himself to get others to understand. Teaches material so everyone is interested. Always laughing in class, must study slides and notes to pass tests, gives you information straight from the book to highlight, follow it!
Tomengo is very fun and a good teacher. He loves art and his job. Take lots of notes and make flash cards for the tests, no joke. He grades a little tough on the papers, but is fair.
Tomengo is so far one of the top professors I've had. He is very funny and knows how to entertain while still teaching. Took this class for African American Humanities which he calls Black Humanities. Very down to Earth, and a man with good integrity & honesty. 2 Essays, 15+ quizzes, responses & 2 tests. Tests are harder and deeper than you expect.
He is very intelligent and passionate about his work. He knows how to teach and still be hilarious. You will learn a lot. There are Quizzes, 2 Tests, and 2 papers. He grades hard on papers. This class is fun, but it isn't for the weak willed. Must show up for class. Must do the homework. If you are serious about school, this class is perfect.
VERY INSPIRATIONAL TEACHER. HE ENGAGES HIS STUDENTS BRILLIANTLY. PREFERS DISCUSSING THE MATERIAL IN DEPTH MORE THAN ACTUALLY GOING OVER IT. I CRIED THE LAST DAY OF CLASS. VERY HELPFUL BUT GIVES NO FEEDBACK ON RESEARCH PAPERS. LOOK FOR HIM ON HIS OFFICE AND HE WILL CLARIFY EVERYTHING. CAN'T TELL IF EASY "A" OR TOO GOOD OF A CLASS TO NOT GET AN "A"
Professor Tomengo is seriously the best teacher you will ever take. The papers were not graded as hard as I thought they would be. You just have to make sure that you do not save them for last minute. DO THE READINGS! There is a quiz almost every class. There are two tests based on pure memorization of artwork, but if you study it is an easy A.
Loves what he's doing and does it well. Got me excited about the class even on days when I was feeling lazy. Totally recommend.
He is a very cool instructor. Very funny and animated! He make the class very fun for the students. His exams are easy, but there is a lot of memorization of slides that has to be done, for his exams. If you put in some time, it is very possible to get an A.
I took Tomengo's Renaissance humanities course in my second semester at Seminole State in Sanford. Tomengo is a great and dedicated teacher that focuses on each student plus makes sure that your able to understand the material. He is very funny and can sometimes get into the material very seriously.
Love this teacher! He is very passionate about teaching and it really makes the class amazing. Go to class & takes lots of notes. He teaches medieval, renaissance and baroque,& african american all his classes are great! LOVE LOVE LOVE this teacher and classes
June 2012. He is passionate. 2 midterms test, 8 quizzes must be done on Sakai and turn in before class, 8 papers with 125 words turn in before class in Sakai. 2 presentations papers with 750-1000. MUST READ THE BOOK!!! No extra credit. Attendance a must or points taken off, don't be late to class. Library a must after every class!!!
THIS TEACHER IS AN ABSOLUTE TAKE! HE IS VERY LENIENT AND VERY EXCITING AND INTERESTING! SIR I GIVE YOU THUMBS UP!!!!! HE IS REAL TO THE CORE AND JUST PLAIN DARN NICE!
awesome teacher. would love to take another one of his classes.
Took him for Renaissance & Baroque. He is a great teacher, he is very passionate about what he teaches. However, exams were a bit tough..Have to memorize 50 pieces of artwork and only have 14 on test. Overload.
I took Tomengo for Medieval Humanities, and to be honest going into this class I wasn't sure how I'd like it. But Tomengo makes the lesson's incredibly entertaining, he's pretty much insane. But the class was entertaining and he makes it fun. Just be ready to study art, and with two major paper and weekly paragraph papers it's not too bad.
Amazing Professor! I highly recommend this class. A lot of writing. The only thing I didn't care for were the timed quizzes, Other than that I loved everything about the class and the professor.
I took african American humanities with professor Tomengo and loved it, his class was so interesting I did not get bored enough to take my phone out and text in class, that says alot! He was very informative and passionate about it. I loved how blunt he was and he told it how it was! Timed quizzes and memorizing 50 images! Awesome professor!
Professor Tomengo was amazing!!! I wish that I had another humanities class to take and if I did I would definitely be taking one with him! He is passionate about the subject, funny and at times gets down and dirty but this is what I loved about him.Take him!! You wont regret it!
Great teacher. Inspired me for my own major. Extremely passionate and gives you breaks for everything. His syllabus might be intimidating, but once you get the hang of it its actually very helpful. Read the passages he asks you to word for word. His essays are tricky but if you ask for help he has no problem explaining exactly what he wants. Study!
Tomengo is a great professor. Always willing to help you when needed. Make sure you read the book and do the assignments. He will be strict if he has to as long as you attend class and do your work you'll pass for sure. I enjoyed his class a lot and I am taking him again for African American Humanities.
Took his class for my spring semester and he is such a trip. He makes class so interesting and he's hilarious. I never wanted to miss his class because he was so awesome! However! Those papers he makes you write are brutal. He killed both my essays that were approved by other professors, and you MUST memorize the book. Get those flash cards out!
He knows his material very well and helps you take a new perspective on art. He makes you memorize the dates, names, and artist names of a lot of works. Memorization is key! And books are a must to help you on test! And essays should not be written on the last minute! He also makes u read and write about the reading every week.
wow what can i say, best teacher ever! He knows what he is teaching, very funny, outspoken, loud talker but in good way. He will meet with students for help with essays. 2 exams, 2 essays, few online quizes. You have to be in class everyday, suggest some study group, he tells stories based off lecture. I had him for another humanities class!
Great professor!! He loves what he teaches. Like i go to church and some of the things that tomengo taught i didnt know, so its like he said " when u come to class is like coming to church" Have 2 essays, 2 slide tests, some quizes online openbook, and response to the reading. Overall i took him again for afri. amer. hum ^_^ i recommend him!!!!!!!
Professor Tomengo is amazing! He is extremely entertaining which makes what he's talking about really interesting. The class is divided into 2 parts, 2 tests, 2 essays, writing assignments and open book quizzes online. Really easy if you study! He is available for questions during office hours and I cant wait to take another course with him.
I love Professor Tomengo, I'm taking his Medieval class. He is very helpful when it comes to the research/argumentative paper, if you go and see him. Wish I could take even more classes with him.
Really fun professor. You have to do the readings, there are online quizzes and writing assignments every week, 2 essays, 2 exams.
Professor Tomengo is the BEST teacher I've ever had. He is very enthusiastic about his material, he is enjoyable because he loves his job! The class is fairly easy, you have to show up and you have to do the work, which is half a page response to a reading assignment followed by a quiz! He is blunt to the point and lots of fun!
Best prof! I wish professor Tomengo taugh history classes, too. One of the best, most instructive, yet fun classes I've ever taken. He enjoys what he does and that's why his class is a success. One can have a blast while learning. Although the class seems easy enough, slide tests require a lot of studying if one wants to succeed. AAA+++ professor.
Pompous, entitled and very clearly uninterested in his students' grades. He's said so himself. He is highly passionate and knowledgeable of art, which is commendable; however, when it comes to teaching humanities he is lacking. It isn't this alone but his outright denial of responsibility for the success of his students which proves most egregious.
Incredibly passionate teacher so the class was super fun. It's a lot of work (a lot of reading and quizzes, memorizing, studying), but if you enjoy the subject, then it's not a big deal. I will say this: don't take during the summer. It's WAY too much work for 6 weeks, esp with a 2nd class. You need the book, but it's cheap ($10-20).
He is an incredible professor but his class is not easy. He is hilarious and informative. I loved every lecture and the content is great. But you can't slack whatsoever. Two big essays, two exams where you have to memorize multiple artistartworkdates, and almost every class has a quiz and response for it. It is a lot of work and not an easy A.
Mr. Tomengo is an excellent teacher who is passionate about what he does. You can always arrange an office appointment to discuss your papers, projects, and up coming exam. Contrary to what was previously said, Mr Tomengo does care for his students and the success of his lecture delivery to his class. I would recommend Mr. Tomengo to anyone.
Mr. Tomengo is the best teacher ever! I took him for African American humanities, very funny and knows his stuff. Only 2 tests and 2 papers, I would without a doubt take him again! :)
Professor Tomengo is an AWESOME teacher! I had him for African American Humanities and I'm taking him again for another Humanities class. His tests include memorization, free response, and multiple choice (not too hard). You can tell he really enjoys teaching, as his teaching style is very entertaining and hilarious. I'd DEFINITELY recommend him
You have reading assignments, you opinion on it and a quiz following. You midterm and final are on the art you cover. They're a picture he shows and you need to come up with artist, title, time and medium with some multiple choice and essay questions. I would take a class with him again if I could. Loved his class, so helpful!
Best professor, took him for African American humanities. Reading assignments and a one page paper response to each reading. Quizzes to each reading (easy), 2 papers and 2 tests!
Trent is by far one of the most respected professors at Seminole. Expect to get frequent quizzes and 125+ word response essays. Memorization of the art is going to be a must for the tests. Hilarious, if you need clarity he'll explain. Gives extra-credit opportunities. All in all Trent is one cool down to earth dude, passionate about teaching.
Professor Tomengo may seems really hard in the beginning, but in actuality he's really easy. He's very thorough with his grading, gives you a lot of time to do your essays, makes you do writing response (keeps you on your toes) and offers extra credit through out the semester. I would recommend him!
He has to be one of the most amazing professors I have ever had. He makes you work for your grade. If you want an easy A this class is not for you. I received a high B but I worked for my grade. You need to learn your art and you need to go to class. If you don't go to class you will fail. Pay attention to what he says.
Professor Tomengo is probably the best choice for any Humanities related course. He is extremely funny, extremely intelligent, and shows so much care and interest in all of his lectures. I DEFINITELY recommend taking him!!
Trent Tomengo is extremely passionate at what he does! I had him for African American Humanities and he always made his lectures interesting. He knows his audience and just knows how to grab your attention. He's a very funny guy and always ends his lecture with something inspirational. Just read the book for his class and make sure you take notes
Tomengo is the best professor I have had in my two years of college. Not only does he make the material interesting he captivates the class. Each class was eventful , nothing stale he teaches very clearly. When your laughing and smiling your learning , he lights up the class room.
My experience in this class was 50/50; although he is a great looking guy and hilarious and very smart, his class can be tough. (I had him for African American Humanities )Pay attention to his slides and study all the artwork he displays in class, READ THE BOOK and TAKE NOTES. Overall he's a great professor and a great dresser ;) Highly recommend!
Professor Tomengo is the BEST professor I've ever had. He's very entertaining and intelligent. I would love to have the opportunity to take him again.
Tomengo really knows what he is talking about and how to explain it well. He also had really straightforward grading criteria. I had him for renaissance/baroque humanities and would definitely take him for any other class.
Professor Tomengo is the best. The key to passing his class is to study and read the text. I love this class.
An amazing teacher knows exactly how to explain and how to make you learn the material. While it's a tough class you learn a lot and it is worth your money. Enjoyed his lectures and his jokes.
Class will be easy if you study and pay attention. He's a great guy and very funny. Lectures are actually enjoyable and his personal stories are hilarious
AWESOME DUDE. Took African American Humanities as a white guy and I don't regret it.
Best Professor I ever had at Seminole State. You have to be willing to read from the textbook often because he gives 1-2 quizzes every week from the reading which is alright because after all, this is a college course. He makes class so entertaining and it doesn't hurt that he's nice to look at.
Tomengo gives the best lectures, makes the material fun to learn, and will make you laugh. There is a LOT of work, and 2 papers that require extensive research. I got an A but I had to earn it. Show up to class and pay attention and you will pass!
I love Tomengo! I had a blast in his African American humanities class, would take him again and again if given the chance. Amazing :)
Trent Tomengo was the best teacher I ever had throughout schools. He is passionate & a great person all around. Yes you do have to work: you do have a writing assignment every week, along with two slide exams and two papers, but if you do EXACTLY what he says & show up for his classes, easy A. Thank you Trent for being such a great teacher/person!
Great Humanities professor, All you have to do is show up to class, take notes, and then do the assignment that is due. Only two big tests and two big papers which are extremely easy to do if you just follow an extremely easy format for the paper and just memorize the slides for the test. Requires some studying in order to pass, pretty simple.
Very funny professor. If you don't do what he asks in the syllabus for the two formal papers you will not do so hot on them. Quizes are online.
LOTS OF READING AND TIMED QUIZZES. Although Tomengo is an awesome professor and such a nice guy, the quizzes are very difficult. There are 8 questions and you have 8 minutes to answer them based on the reading which is usually 15-20 pages a night. I personally had to read it 2-3 times before taking the quiz just to get a decent grade on them.
He is a fantastic professor and lecturer! I would definitely take him again.
I've taken tomengo twice and would never take another professor for humanities he was a great professor. His class is a great example of you get out what you put in. Meaning if you actually try, you'll make out well. I did terrible on the quizes cos i'm not good at that stuff and still got a b. Study hard for the tests but its worth it!!!
As a person, I really like him. He is very funny, make class interesting and is pretty cool. However, as a teacher, I DID NOT like him. Grades essays with barely any feedback and what is, is vague and useless. Large part of grade is on attendance and gives no lee-way toward it. He expects way too much of you for a simple humanities class.
Great lectures. Learned a lot from this class but the amount of work involved makes me question was it worth it. He is a very hard grader and grades are not clear until end of the term. He is a pretty likable person but a very hard teacher.
I absolutely loved this professor. Mr. Tomengo gives helpful feedback, grades fairly, and gives very well done lectures. Not to mention he is very fun and energetic. Would definitely recommend him to another student. Not too much work, but be ready to seriously crack down on his papers. Overall, not a hard class, and a great professor.
Mr. Tomengo is the best professor i've had thus far. There is no doubt in my mind that anyone that can put a little effort into this class then you can have a great experience and end with a great grade. He lights up the class and really gets everyone excited while providing valuable education. Overall, I'd recommend this class to anyone.
I absolutely LOVED professor Tomengo. He's very knowledgeable, passionate, and makes the learning environment very enjoyable. He is the best professor I have taken thus for. He opened my eyes to so many things and I truly appreciate that. He makes you expand your mind to bring out the best work he knows you can do. I highly recommend taking him
Tomengo was such an entertaining professor. He is an incredibly knowledgeable man and gives you all the tools to success. All you have to do is put in the work to study the information he gives you. He is very funny and the workload may seem overwhelming at first, but if you learn the artwork bit by bit you will be fine. The 2 artist essays suck.
Was very motivated to go to class, interested in the material especially the way he presented it. Good personality and professor. Be prepared to study and read. Assignments require critical thought and explanation.
Professor Tomengo was the absolute best. I recommend this class to my colleagues. I was never bored with the material and actually looked forward to returning to class. As an African American woman, I felt that I knew the basics or at least a little more than the basics about my culture. I did not. Thanks Mr. Tomengo.
Professor Tomengo is a cool teacher. As a person I really do like him. He makes the class interesting; however, the work he gives is too much. For every quiz you take you have to write a page response. The reading is really confusing so it is hard for me to write a response. But if you like this type of reading then go for it.
Professor Tomengo is the homie! I just took him for Fall 2017 in rennaisance/baroque humanities. It was a little bit more work than i had wanted but hes such a cool guy. You can tell he loves what he teaches as well. If youre into the art and its history at all, defientely take him. Id take him again for sure.
He is a wonderful person and definitely makes the class very interesting! However if you are looking for an easy class then i wouldn't recommend. He has reading for you to do every week and after the reading you have a timed quiz on canvas 8 questions in 8 mins , honestly really stressful! Has only 2 tests and 2 papers that are heavily graded.
Tomengo is an amazing professor. He made this class so interesting. There's reading and responses almost every night. There's two tests and two 750 word papers. He's a tough grader but if you follow the guidelines you should be okay. Make a PowerPoint of the pictures and study them every night! That's the only way to pass the tests.
Professor Tomengo's lectures are really incredible. However, be prepared to MEMORIZE. Memorization of artists, titles, mediums, and dates of works of art is absolutely crucial to get a good grade in this class. Read the book thoroughly! This class is a MASSIVE time commitment for all the studying required. Be prepared for that!!!
Your grade is divided by the first and second quarter. Each quarter is divided by 4 grades, that all add up to 400 points, divided by 4, and gets your quarter grades. Add both quarters to get final. First part is attendance and weekly response papers, (which are small). 2nd is difficult quizes (10 mins for 10 questions), A diffuclt test, and essay
He's super passionate about what he teaches and you can see it in his life's work. If you want a teacher that actually cares this is your man. Since he cares he also expects you to care, so half-done writing assignments won't cut it. There's a weekly reading with a weekly writing assignment and quiz that are based on the reading. He's an A1 choice.
Tomengo might be the worst professor I've had. Though he can be funny, too many times has he made a joke at women's expense. His style of teaching is all over the place. It's hard to know what to study and the quizzes are nearly impossible to complete in the allotted time. Essays are toughly graded and not much feedback is given. A lot of reading.
If you are good at memorizing than this class is for you. however you have to remember artist, title, medium, and date for 100 paintings total and have to write 2 essays that he grades very tough. This class was not a good choice.
One of the best professors I've had. He makes the subjects he teaches much more interesting. He's also quite hilarious. You do need to put effort into the class to pass and reading the textbook is necessary!
Tough class. Learn a lot. Professor is well informed and balanced. He truly cares about the students learning and creates a safe environment for us to do so.
Tomengo is great to listen to if you're interested in history and the humanities. As long as you do you're work you'll pass.
By far one of my favorite professors. Clear expectations for assignments & prompt at returning emails. Your grade is based on 4 things per each half: 6 reading responses (125 words long) from the questions he gives you, attendance/tardiness, argumentative essay, and the artwork exam. I am taking him again for my 2nd humanities class.
Do not take this class. He gives zero opportunity to fix your grade. Lots of reading and each reading assignment is 11-16 pages. After the reading assignments you take a 8 question quiz that is timed (8 minutes to complete) memorizing art, dates, artists, mediums for two major slide in class exams. A stupid hard writing assignment is given.
You are graded by mini assignments and quizzes and only two tests and papers. Extremely strict grading on the tests and papers, however. If you have any questions about your grade you are forced to meet him outside class in office hours.
Graded on mini writing assignments, 2 tests and 2 essays. I took this class for a humanities credit but he made it way harder than it should be. He teaches like we already know the material and is an extremely tough grader on the essays and tests which are the majority of your grade I do not recommend him at all.
Great professor. The class is always lecture based but he does a great job story telling and keeping you entertained mostly throughout the class. Definitely makes you work for you grade. Make sure to study and prepare for the 2 tests you have. 2 papers are decent, kind of hard. If taking humanities go with Tomengo, he's great at what he does.
This Professor is AMAZING! I was worried after reading the reviews but his lectures were great and I learned so much. The hardest part of the semester were the papers, he's a tough grader 750 words. Responses and quizzes due each chapter, two papers, two tests, NO final. He's really sweet and cares about his students. Take him!
The professor himself is a good guy, great humor, and pretty cool. Class lecture. Reading response every class and quiz every week, no makeup, written response. 2 papers, grades harsh, and 1 final all written response no makeup. Would not take again but nice guy.
He's my favorite professor. Ive taken 2 of his classes now and here are my best tips on how to excel in his class 1) come to class on time, every time 2) download quizlet (this will be a lifesaver with his slide tests) 3) ASK FOR HIS HELP ON THE ESSAYS 4) read and reread the pgs assigned before taking the quizzes 5) take all the EC offered
He is a really great guy and great lectures, but this is the most time-consuming class I have ever taken and I'm a health sciences major. He's a slow and tough grader. If you get 1 question wrong on all of the reading quizzes it's a B. I just feel like he makes the class unnecessarily hard. I wouldn't take this class again.
The Professor was a great person, however if your going for a traditional history class this might not be a good choice because this class is setup more like an art history class. Get ready to remember pictures of architecture and more, you'll need to be remembering the name, time period, medium, and the actual date it was made. Tough exams!!!
I took this class online so I am not sure how in person class is but, the amount of work is unreal. This is one of the last classes I'm taking and I have never come across a teacher with this much work load. Multiple assignments due each week, quizzes, more than one discussion more than one lecture. You have to have nothing going on to get an A.
I absolutely adore Professor Tomingo. Not only is he a fantastic teacher, but he's also an artist himself. The lecture videos are pleasant to listen too, and he tells you exactly what he wants from you. There's a moderate amount of work, almost all of which is written assignments, but they're small and not difficult. I cannot recommend him enough.
Lots of homework and due at the end of the week. Two exams, no textbook because it got pulled, but need to memorize artwork, not actual facts about the era. Needed to know Medium, date, artist, and title. Not about Medieval history.
Good guy and one of the few online classes where the teacher regularly had video lectures and not just readings. Work can be kind of heavy some weeks and light on others and he can be pretty hard on grading, especially the short writing assignments. Need to buy painting supplies and paint something. Midterm and final require LOTS of memorization.
Professor Tomengo is a great person but a tough grader. It can be very hard to understand exactly what he's asking for. Work levels are light some weeks and crazy the next. There's a final painting at the end of the class and two tests. The tests require LOTS of memorization. DO THE EXTRA CREDIT!!
Want to learn from a professor that is passionate about teaching & delivers lectures in a way that helps you retain the information and enjoy learning, then Professor Tomengo is whom you should choose. I took his African American Humanities online during COVID and after I graduated, I went back to audit his Baroque class just to get the experience
Honestly Mr. Tomengo was one of the best professors I had at Seminole State. He was so accommodating when something came up,you could tell he cares about his students and what he teaches. There was a passion in the way he taught that a lot of professors don't have. There are a lot of discussions, readings, and written responses.Just put in the effort.
Great professor who makes the class really amazing. Professor Tomengo is so understanding and does everything in his power to help you pass the already easy class. If you're looking for a good professor who teaches really interesting classes, he's your guy!
Tomengo is really great, you can tell how passionate he is about what he teaches if you attend the lectures. If you have the opportunity to take a class with him, you should absolutely take it. I always looked forward to coming into his class. I'm taking another class he teaches this semester. Highly recommend.
This is more of an ART class then actual history IMO. He gives LOTS of lectures and you have to take a lot of notes but the class overall is not hard as long as you listen to what he's telling you. He tells you exactly what's going to be on the test, so memorizing is a must, and there's a lot to memorize.
Great personality and a great guy. You will learn some valuable information, but there was a crazy amount of reading and a lot of work. Would not take again just because of the amount of work that he gives.
Assignments and lectures are proofed so that you can't skip through; expect to take your time with this course if you take him. Immense amounts of memorization as well. I found him to be very critical and grades too harshly. Definitely asking too much from students for this class that he has to know the majority of people only take for the credit.
There is a lot to learn but its so educational and informative. I was ready for each lecture every week because everything caught my attention. Was not a boring class at all. Easy if you study take notes. There is a bit of reading to do in order to write the discussions. Study for the tests.
He changes lives and changes people's opinions based on what he knows and what he has experienced.I will never forget him because he changed my life for the better. His lectures are so amazing, he breaks topics down so well and he shows genuine care towards his students. If I could take his class again, I would most definitely be in school forever.
I'd definitely take Professor Tomengo again, it's just that he likes to excuse lots of assignments that I make great scores on. He screwed my grade by not going by HIS syllabus to accept grades, no matter the fashion of the scores I make.
Definitely get ready to read. Lectures are very informative. In the beginning I had thoughts about dropping the class so glad I didn't I ended the class with a high B.
He is really passionate about art, I took Renaissance and Baroque. He truly loves what he teaches and you can tell, I honestly learned so much. That being said it is a lot of work, he requires memorization. Tests are loosely proctored. He is very serious, not very nice, but I learned so much and I appreciate everything he does.
Taking Professor Tomengo's class was a bit challenging. However, he is an amazing person and wants you to succeed in his class. He is a tough grader and the exams are hefty but once you become accustomed to his style, the class isn't that bad.
Would not recommend what so ever ! Harsh Grader! I submitted almost all my assignments correctly! Still received a F for many assignments! Ended up failing the class because of it and I asked him could I correct it before the semester ended ! Waste of time and $.
This is the first and probably only review I will ever write. I dont have anything against this prof I j cant stand his course structure, his lectures are long and boring, half of the videos are pauses and "um" and then out of nowhere he just drops questions mid-video with no context about tidbits of info, theres more ran out of room dont take this
Incredible professor for African American humanities
Professor Tomengo's class is challenging but rewarding. Expect heavy workloads, tough grading, and loads of memorization. Unstuck study was a lifesaver for exam prep - great alternative to ChatGPT.
Assignments vary from week to week, and can usually be completed within 2 hours if you really want to. My main complaint of the class are the exams- lots of memorizing (over 30 different art works when you only get tested on a few, as well as term definitions word for word). Decent class, I just think the exams are a bit excessive.
Terrible professor. Only teaches through bland power points that only has pictures, you have to answer the same three questions every week, you can't work ahead, he doesn't even follow his own grading criteria. half of the stuff on the exams aren't even things he taught or are things he barely went over so you don't actually know what to study.
DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR! Cannot work ahead, grades unfairly and inaccurately, doesn't give clear directions or helpful feedback, memorization for HOURS, proctored exams, long powerpoints, boring videos, midterm/final for art pro, lengthy fill in the blank useless questions, shopping for paint supplies, & ZOOM MEETINGS FOR PROJECTS. WASTE OF $
A strict grader and not lenient to late assignments or extensions.
TERRIBLE!!! Such horrible feed back, strict grader. Makes you spend money on a project for a class that doesn't even matter!!! Never ever ever ever ever again.
This class is pretty straightforward. He gives repetitive assignments, and 2 exams use web camera proctoring. He is a very tough grader on the first project. However, my recommendation is to use the same brand for the paint, as mixing brands and colors can cause issues. But the work that you need to remember is a lot.
The assignments are always posted late, but they're super easy and quick assignments. The unit exams are proctored and it's a lot of memorization. Very nice professor and helps a lot of needed!
The class itself is pretty chill it's in person and mostly just long lectures, nothing too wild. My only real issue is with the final project. We had to make an abstract painting based on our own emotions, but the grading didn't make sense. I got told mine “Wasn't deep enough,” even though it's literally supposed to be personal and subjective.
Three months in, and he only graded two things. It would have been three, but he decided one day to excuse one of the easy quizzes, so everyone's grades have dropped a significant amount. I'm sure he has other great classes, but for this specific one, he has been nothing but awful. Does not grade for months. Easy tests, but it's a tough grader.
The teacher is nice and his lectures are entertaining, but the assignments for the week tend to come out late. He's very clear on his expectations and he explains the instructions for each assignment very well. The class is graded on 4 module exams and the rest of the assignments are ungraded, but it's basically like a mini version of the real exam
