Good teacher and good notes. Notes are done on powerpoint and includes many images and videos to get the concepts across. If you attend class and pay attention you sure to do great. Exams are relatively easy, as long as you know the material. Overall an excellent professor, and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to take a psychology course.

I had Rod Schmaltz & Trevor both for 104. Trevor was a decent lecturer and cracked jokes. But, so much textbook reading! I found the 2 midterms to be difficult & felt like the questions were more situational then what we covered in class/textbook. It was tougher than I was expecting so I likely won't be taking another psych class because of it

He is very nice and cracks some jokes here and there, however his lectures were not the greatest. He goes quick and talks about the topics briefly. He also pretty much reads off the slides. You pretty much have to read the painfully long textbook chapters to do well in this class.

Had Hamilton and Schmaltz. Hamilton was more monotone but had some fun stories though. Schmalz was a fun prof, cracked jokes pretty often and was very engaging. Only down side was that the notes didn't help as much since it was lecture heavy. I had to read the textbook and go along with my notes to be able to understand. Midterms/final were fair.

Trevor is a great professor! He is very kind and wants his students to do well. He is very passionate about neuroscience which is great if you are thinking of going into that field. Exams are very textbook-heavy, so make sure you read and memorize terms in the textbook. Otherwise, will 100% take his classes again!

If you don't attend the lectures you won't know content that might come up on the exam. The midterms and finals are super easy if you read the textbook and pay attention in class. The lectures are enjoyable and they almost always find a way to include the students with something, he did bring a brain in a jar to a lecture one time, that was cool!

Trevor is very knowledgeable and keeps the material interesting. His lectures cover some things not covered in the textbook so definitely attend class. Quizzes and assignments are very fair in assessment and grading. Overall would take a course with him again.

Dr. Hamilton is very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the subject. He explains things very clearly with white board drawing and good analogies. You will have to do a bit of additional reading because it will show up on quizzes and exams. His exams and quizzes are not difficult and reflect the class material well. He is also pretty funny
