Enjoyed this class! Teacher made chemistry less intimidating than it's supposed to be. Takes time to walk you through any homework problems you may have. Is a very approachable and people-friendly guy. He was my favorite Chemistry teacher out of all the bad Chem. teachers I had before him. I highly reccommend him for anybody needing a Chemistry!

Dr. Roberti was pretty cool, the class itself is not easy so be ready to study! Make sure you show up to class, there is a lot of information each week and if you miss a lecture you will miss a big part of the test. Dr. R has a dry sense of humor and laughs at his own jokes but he is a really cool professor and is helpful when you don't understand.

I learned a lot in his class - his lectures were clear and he was very good at answering my questions. Chemistry is tough and lots of work but I feel like I learned a lot. I would recommend this class to anyone.

Really nice, and funny guy. He gives great feedback on your work, he is not tough on grading. He is extremely helpful. Sometimes concepts he explains are not very clear, but that comes with most chemistry professors. Definitely would take again!

Great teacher, Always willing to help, and even helped even more in 2X. Labs are fun and easy, tests are tough. Fair grader and always makes sure everyone understands the lectures before moving on, although sometimes he skims over his own lectures and gets confused, very funny, and does as much as he can to help students pass. would take again.

So glad I took Professor Roberti's class. He's great, and a very fair grader. Chem 2A requires a lot of formula memorization. It's not hard, but you definitely have to study and get the formulas down. I recommend not taking any other hard classes while enrolled in this one. Also make sure you take chem 2x to get the extra help you need.

Dr. Roberti is one of the best instructors I have ever had. He is super patient with people who aren't strong in math - and there's a LOT of math in chem - and explains things very well. Love this guy! But this is a tough class and the pace during a 16-week semester is insane. It would be difficult to take this class with a full load.

He has a phD & is very knowledgeable about chemistry, but is also so goofy and personable. His class is extremely organized, lectures are online for later use. Go to class, do the online hw & take Chem 2x because it's an extra unit for a study period where he answers Q's/no work is due. This is the first hard class I've enjoyed at Sierra & got an A

Roberti is an amazing chemistry teacher. I have never taken Chem before, not even in high school so I was a bit nervous taking on this class. It turned out to be a positive and motivating experience. He is highly organized and efficient. He is very approachable and lectures are very clear. Make sure you go to lab, they are a big part of your grade

Had prof. Roberti for CHEM A, my first chem class ever. He was great! Got high A in the class. Lots of students whined and complained but everything seemed fairly easy and straightforward. I feel very prepared for gen chem series. Just show up to lecture/lab and do the reading/homework! He was good prof, students were just flakey. EC on exams.

He is really passionate about Chem and that made the class more enjoyable. But his lectures, Chem2xworksheet and textbook readings do not always match up with what is on his tests. He loves true/false and has plenty of challenging multiple choice questions on tests (Too many I say). Chem is tough and with Roberti it is challenging, but manageable.

I needed Chem 2A for my major and I am so glad I got him as a professor. He is very passionate about chemistry and will always help you out if you're struggling. Going to all lectures is great but he does post his power points on canvas. As long as you pay attention the tests aren't too bad either.

Dr. Roberti has every quality you want in a science teacher. He is VERY clear about how he grades and whats coming on tests/quizzes. He explains everything very well and gives an incredible amount of feedback. He also gives a large amount of partial credit and extra credit. You WILL NOT find a better chem teacher, take him!

Professor Roberti is one of the most amazing professors I have had to date. He is a very supportive professor who cares to see students succeed. Throughout the semester he sets you up for success for the drug study due near the end of the semester. He is generous with his grading, but will also hold you to standards. Definitely take him!

By far my favorite teacher at Sierra college. I was not looking forward to taking chemisty but he made it so worth it. I would take him for every single class if I could. In fact, I told him since he didnt teach the other classes I neededI was switching my career

He's a good teacher, but if you have never taken chemistry some stuff may be difficult to understand. Homework and labs are okay, some are super easy. Exams are difficult, and he makes it harder because he doesn't give any study guide and does not allow any notecards. But he is willing to explain things if you don't get it.

Long as you study outside of class a little your golden, the man offers extra credit that go towards your quizzes and is a pretty lenient grader. Idk how he gets bad reviews but if you cant pass his class and are a nursing major I suggest you change your career.

He is goofy and always happy even at 7 am.... Chem is not an easy subject and yes, you will have to work at it and seriously study. Syllabus is extremely clear. Everyday he puts up a slide detailing what is due and what is coming up, take a picture of it to refer back to. Lots of work and quizzes, but completely possible to get an "A" if you try

I had professor roberti everyday for the last 8 weeks, and Im not sure I would have made it with anyone else teaching this course. Hes a gem! He makes understandin chem easy, and his grading is off the hook. Its not test heavy, so even if you dont do well on some tests you can still leave with a B! He is such a great guy. TAKE HIM! DO IT!!!!!

Your grade isn't just dependent on exam grades, you can still get a B even if you don't do very well on the tests. He offers extra credit on homework assignments, there was one group project but it wasn't difficult (plus you get the whole semester to do it) and he was always happy during lecture. He's knowledgeable and genuinely wants you to learn.

Professor Roberti is one of the most amazing professors I've met at Sierra. He is super sweet and funny, you'll be looking forward to seeing him every day! He is very approachable and he is very happy to answer any of your questions, no matter how basic it is. TAKE HIM! IT'S A VERY WISE DECISION!

Prof Roberti is super sweet! His lectures are long because there are tons of materials to cover but he makes it a little bit more bearable with his side jokes and puns here and there. He'll gladly answer any of your questions. Just listen to him during lecture, do the lab work, do the OWL hw, and you'll pass with an A! TAKE HIS CLASS! NO RAGRETS!

Professor Roberti is hands down one of the best professors I have encountered in my pursuit of education. He takes a difficult and sometimes boring subject and brings it to life! His passion for the subject and for his students' success is inspiring. He truly wants to see you succeed. He presents the material in an easy to understand

Professor Roberti's class was my first chem class since highschool. My grade was significantly better! I went from a C+ in highschool chem to achieving an A+ (99%). His tests are directly from the lectures he gives in class and the worksheets done in lab. Easy A if you put in a little memorization time.

I took this introductory course with another professor before Roberti and he actually takes the time to explain everything. Passing with a B and that is after missing a couple lectures. He does give a lot of homework but it is there to prep you before each exam. Solid class I wish he could be my chem professor for all chemistry levels.

Holy Cow! Lightning speed lecturing, lots of homework, and labs galore! But, He knows his stuff and cares about his students. Find a good set of lab partners, Teamwork makes the dream work! He explains things very clearly and you can tell he gets excited to teach! Final is cumulative, plan accordingly. Best Chem Prof.!

Prof Roberti is an amazing professor who is such an unique character you will giggle or full blown laugh every class. Long chapter hmwk but it really prepares you for the quizzes&tests. 4 unit exams with 1 final. With normal & proper amount of studying the class is easy. Highly recommend for anyone going into 2A/1 series Chem, really prepares you.

Love this man! He made Chem 2A one of my most favorite (but stressful) classes. Yes chem tests are hard, but he gives you study guides! Study these and you are set. Lots of hw, but they prepare you for the test. Chem isn't easy in general but Roberti makes this class dumbed down (for the better). Plus he is so hilarious. Take him please!

Professor Roberti was AMAZING!! I am not a chemistry person by any means, I had to work for my grade for sure in his class, but he was great support. Lots of homework but it is online. His tests are hard, but he gives you study guides that help a lot. Thankfully he has lots of opportunities for grades so a bad test wont kill you. Highly recommend!

This man rules. So helpful, fair and approachable. Took high school chemistry and this was a breeze. At the end of the tests there are problems for extra credit. Also gave EC on labs that were well done. Didn't use the textbook. Get a good lab group. Go to lectures and ask Qs. Be motivated, study lots, do HW, and you'll get an A. This class was fun

Roberti is the ideal prof for any science class! He genuinely wants you to understand and succeed. His explanations are thorough and he actually enjoys teaching. His tests have extra credit problems. He also gives great feedback on assignments and exams. Chem is not an easy class, so make sure to put in the work, but Roberti makes it way easier!

Professor Roberti makes chemistry fun and easy to learn. He does all that he can to make sure his students pass with flying colors! Unfortunately I only got to experience class with him for the first half of the semester due to moving to remote instruction because of the pandemic but he did a great job at compensating and moving to distance!

This class was my hardest so far but he made it interesting and great. You have quizzes, labs, unit exams, one final exam, and one group project. He is really organized and caring.

Roberti is an AMAZING educator. He explains concepts and course content very well and breaks things down to a basic level for a full understanding. He engages with students through lively lectures and labs and is always available for help. ATTN Nursing/Allied Health students: He will set you up with a great foundation for your education.

Professor Roberti is a pretty solid choice. He does tend to ramble and talk in circles sometimes, which lengthens his video lectures, but he gives you all the info you need to perform well. Everything is straight forward and you'll do well as long as you watch the lectures and do the homework. He seems to have transitioned to online classes well.

I am so happy that I took Professor Roberti's class. I was surprised that I was passing! Lectures can be long, but he gives great tips for memorizing the material. There is a tutor readily available if you don't understand what is going on. A lot of work, stay on top of it. Take the support class. Practice, practice, PRACTICE!

Don't take this class if you aren't willing to put in the work. He isn't an easy instructor. That said he sets you up for success and is very organized. This class isn't easy. Put in the work and effort and you will pass. He isn't going to pass you just cause you do the assignments you actually need to put effort.

I actually really enjoyed taking Roberti's class. Work load is a lot in a given week but don't think that's specific to him. Watch lectures, read the text, and attend every tutoring session with chem tutor if you can. He's really helpful if you reach out or attend office hours. Study guides he gives are AMAZINGLY helpful for exams. No complaints.

This class is difficult and there are many long boring lecture videos to watch. But Professor Roberti really wants his students to succeed and he hosts zooms where he goes over homework/exams which was super helpful. Overall great teacher just a hard class.

Class was tough but he mentioned time and time again that this class was going to be a class you have to commit to. His lectures are very long, but he does base all his exams on those lectures. He also provided printed out slides of the lectures so you didn't have to write down all the notes from scratch. Stay on top of assignments and you'll pass.

Great Proffesor. If you study hard you can get A. He offers opportunities to get extra points. Video lectures are not short. He repeats materials on his lectures. It is sometimes boring, but really helpful for your understanding. I wish he taught other science classes like physiology and microbiology. I would take him for sure for those classes too

Prof Roberti is such a sweet dude, he is so full of joy and makes jokes all the time. Ive never understood chem until his class. He will loose sleep to ensure his students understand the material and understand how to do every problem outline via videos on canvas. He gives you everything you need in order to succeed! Best teacher ever!

I'm a little over halfway through the semester and can't tell if I like him or not. He is very lecture heavy and incredibly judgmental of his students' grades. However, he is the smartest chemist I have ever met and really knows his stuff, and is more than happy to pass on his knowledge. I recommend 15-20 hours a week in order to succeed.

Chem 2A is a challenging course, so be prepared to put in the work! Trevor's lectures are long, but thorough and his test/quiz questions are taken from them. I HIGHLY recommend taking his 2X class, as you'll get extra help and worksheets that will prepare you for the upcoming week's quizzes. Trevor ended up being one of my favorite professors!

Amazing teacher. Extremely caring and is always available if you have a question. The class was MUCH easier than I thought it would be and I think it was in large part due to him. He gives lots of extra credit on quizzes I think the highest I got was around 112% Highly recommend Roberti along with Clemmings if you need to take chem 1A.

This is a hard class, especially in the summer. Expect to spend a lot of time studying. He does have long lectures (and likes to see who viewed it). The pop quizzes are regular weekly quizzes. He has a unique personality, and is not a stereotypical professor. But, he is accessible and offers a lot of help and additional resources!

If you will start working hard from the beginning of the semester, you'll do good. There will be a lot of homework. Lectures are bored, but everything was clear. He helped me a lot during office hours. Doesn't respond to emails quickly.

Roberti is a good professor. He offers extra credit on all his quizzes and tests. Pearson homework docks you for a little bit incorrectness, but he bumps up your overall homework grade by 10% so if you don't get an A in the homework you are doing something wrong. He clearly cares.

Is this class hard? Yes, honestly harder than Ochem in my opinion. But that's because its an intro course that takes a lot of time, and to be honest, I didn't understand his lectures much; he would zone out a lot. BUT, the Pearson videos you do for homework, they will carry you to the finish line. DO THE HOMEWORK OR YOU WILL FAIL!!!

Reading the book is the key to success in order to make the most of his lectures. Taking good notes and lots of practice with the concepts is important to do well because he has pop quizzes. Provides ample extra credit, even in exams. This class will not be an easy A because the content and pace of the class can be quick. Go to office hours.
