I don't know how she is as a teacher, but as an advisor she is terrible. Very unprofessional. Will tell me that she will be in her office at a specific time, and then not show up. I've yet to meet her after two years.
She was a good teacher. The course is hard but i liked her. She gives three major tests and they are hard but easy if u take good notes.
She was my favorite teacher, funny lady and made everything seem so easy, explained economics well, i even made it my minor because of her......take her!!!
She was very good in class. she explained everything in great detail. if your dont understand, she would explain it over and over till you got it. not a very hard teacher, just have to review notes daily

can you say thumbs up thats all i learned in class. She can make a graph faster than lightning and cant explain it. She is also very bad at math
THUMBS WHAT
I had no interest in economics until Prof. Snyder. She is great... a little improvement in efficiency needed, but a great professor... she explains the material very well and is extremely helpful. Just come to class, take notes, and study well.... you'll get an A.
Great professor.....takes time to explain if you are having trouble.......nice.......study your notes and you will get an A.....She made me love economics and now it is my minor.
She knows her economics but needs more experience and knowledge beyond economics.
hard class..makes me never want to take a business class again.
very nice lady..but the class is hard. I would take it only if I had previously knowledge in business.
who gave this woman her doctorate it must of been a NOVA program one weekend an month i put forth extra effort in this class and gave it my best shot, did all the extra credit papers and lectures and it didnt count for****. after i found out i failed i contacted her and never heard back she sucks
She is mad easy if U take notes, her tests are straight from the notes, very cool teacher class tends to get boring, got B in both classes and didn't even study. In Micro just do a group project and U are set for the semester...
Excellent.
She is one of the easist Prof. in Economics along with Prof. Paul Swanson, study from the notes Prof. Synder's class and U will do fine trust me its coming from a slacker.

She is a good teacher and posts the notes online so if you miss a class you are safe. The semester long project sucks but if you keep up with it you should have no problem. Tests are sort of hard but she is there to give extra help and always tries to make sure the class understands the material
She is usually great at keeping the class interested in the material. She gives a semester-long project in place of several small assignments. If you like that better then you will like her class.
Great Professor!!! She makes the class interactive and gives interesting lectures. She really knows her stuff and her humor is hilarious. Great dresser for a teacher too.
Very nice teacher. If you put forth the effort you will get an A. Material is confusing but she does her best to explain. Take home Midterm wasn't bad either. Overall, I would recommended to take for any Econ course.
She's a great teacher. Attendance isn't mandatory, and she posts all of her class notes on Black Board. Make sure you take the economic indicator project seriously. It's not fun or easy trying to do 5 months worth of work in one day, but I got a B on it. It's a great class and she's a great professor.
if you are reading this you are ****ing screwed this is by far the worst econ teacher at willy p. she makes you purchase the wall street journal everyday that pile becomes knee high at the end of the semester then you do a huge report that u will get graded unfairly in take my advice get the **** out
She is a very good teacher and is very nice, fun, and (in my opinion) beautiful.
Really nice and not bad to look at for prof standards
take someone else
turned a boring topic into an interesting class.
Great Class
She tells you to purchase the wall street journal. if you live on campus you don't get half of them. then she shows you how to get the information online. she constantly goes off topic in class. teaches you a whole chapter the day before the test. she tells you to read her notes on blackboard, but then says they haven't been updated in years.
Are you kidding? She is the best teach in the bus. school. She keeps u interested. The wall st. journal can all be read online so if ur smart u can share an acct with sumone + her mid. and final are take home and all the ans. are on blackboard.Shes super nice and witty and she gives u notice ahead of time if shes cancels class plus no penalty for late
she wrote these BS rating under this
excellent prof...attendance not necessary...hard subject but if u take good notes and study u'll pass..TAKE ECONOMICS INDICATORS PROJECT SERIOUSLY!!!!
Attendance not necessary, but if you don't go, you're probably not gonna do well. Nice lady, but admits she fails 1/3 of her students and you get the grade you earn. The two projects were kind of a hassle too.

I only went to class the Day before a test for the review, attendance is not mandatory she doest care, just do the test and do well. Study the info from the review, she gives all the questions basically with the answers for the review.
Snyder was always a fun class...she used every day material to explain economics... tests are right out of here notes (you dont have to go to class, but you should for the notes)...oh yea..and she's smokin!!
Great professor. Tests are right out of her notes so go to class even if its not mandatory. plus she everything posted on blackboard incase you miss a class. just take good notes and trust me you get an A in this class
Great teacher...she's got several degrees, and btw - VERY hot
She is alright but tests are so strange. you get 4-5 questions. if you mess up 1 of them, you get 20-25 points off immediately. she gives partial credit though. 2 tests. 2 papers based on wall street journal. very easy explanation but tests are a killer. hope she changes test structure one day.
She is incredibly fair. Show up to class, take her notes b/c her exams are directly from them. Her explanation of the material is crystal clear and she's got a bubbly personality so class isn't really boring. Overall, she's great!
I had took Online summer courses. It was hard. But she put online lectures and reply to email fast. Midterm and Exam are hard. But if you do the homework that really help. She is nice professor.
Online Summer class. As long as you keep us with reading there is no reason why you shouldnt do well. She is very helpful and really wants you to learn and do well. Midterm, Final and homework make up your grade.
Shes very fair and i love her personality! shes funny and she definitely keeps you awake with her corny but funny jokes. tests are a little hard but straight off her powerpoints, study the notes and you'll be fine. got a B+ in her class and i hate microeconomics.
Best professor there is!!!very fair grader loves football i got a B for her exams and she gives lots of reviews and help and I only take all econ with her the best.
This teacher is the best teacher i had so far. She makes everything so easy. If you have to take Macro or Micro economics, TAKE HER! she explains all the stuff that is on the test. Just pay attention and take notes of what she is saying and you will pass. I got an A-... She gives 3 exams and some homework to do. The exams are pretty easy
Taking as an online summer class. Everything is based of online Tegrity lessons, which are very helpful. If you do something incorrectly or ask for clarification, she will email you back quickly and do her best to explain everything to you. She gives more than enough time to do midterm, final & homework (was 10 total). Great teacher for this class.
Economics is her passion. She is very helpful and explains the topics into great detail. 3 tests, a wsj project, graph project, and a final but it is on her powerpoint slides from bb
Dr. Snyder is wonderful. She is very good at what she does. She's very helpful, presents material clearly, and utilizes BB well. We had a take home midterm and final, WSJ journals, a paper, and a few in class assignments, I'd take her again if I could. Highly recommended for an enriching experience.
3 Exams she makes up each worth 30% and in-class assignments that are worth 10%. She focuses heavy on graphing, can't stress that enough. Lecture notes are also provided and a good guide to her exams. Attendance wasn't required but obviously beneficial to go. Professor is very nice and hyper, tries to grab your attention.
Serioulsy Swtich your Macro Class. Im a good student who studies and had a 3.5. 5 out of the 35 in class passed her tests. An the project she makes you do its so hard and confusing. SWITCH OUT NOW WHILE YOU HAVE THE CHANCE!!!
Loved her, she makes a bunch of goofy jokes but she knows her econ, class is 3 tests and a project.
To get quickly to the point, if you attend class, LISTEN (everything that is on the exams she tells you ahead of time), take notes and ask questions, you'll receive the easiest A. Her class requires you understand the material, but she is always there for help. If you fail, it's you, not her. Funny, helpful and intelligent. Easy A (if you try).
Tricia Snyder is an awesome professor. Very smart, helps out a lot, willing to help make coursework understandable. The10 page paper was hard but it was totally worth it. Did pretty well and I'm not a super hard worker at all. I had her for Econ issues.
She goes over everything multiple times and when she reviews for exams she basically tells you what will be on them. However if you miss an exam (no matter what the reason) you do not get to take it again. There are two big projects handed in at the end and don't try and do them last minute. She tells you about them on the first day.
TAKE THIS TEACHER FOR ALL YOUR ECONOMICS CLASSES. I absolutely LOVE her. I took her for Macro and she was so clear about everything, I understood everything! I am taking Micro this semester and I regret my decision IMMENSELY that I didn't take her again! She tells you everything on the tests, there are a few projects, but she's great!
Learned so much from her. She made me excited about my major. Easy class if you study. But the material is relateable and interesting
She's probably the best professor I've had in my 1.5 years here. Show up, take notes, pay attention, study briefly, receive A+. 2 midterms, one final, non-cumulative. Well-spoken, understanding, clear. From a guy's perspective, she's a sight for sore eyes. Really helps me pay attention.
honestly, I thought I was going to walk into this class and fail but this professor really helped me not only with understanding macro but actually applying it to real life. she gives you real life advice along with interesting lectures and doesn't stop until you understand everything. shes funny and makes the boring topic a little more interesting
Professor Snyder def. knows her stuff. She is actively discussing topics that are present day, and she also breaches upon older economic methods. 2 tests, journals, and a presentation, and I am looking forward to taking her next semester because there is much to be learned from her during class time.
I was a very big fan of Dr. Snyder until I took this class. The workload was vigorous and she really did not let up. Her midterm exam was followed by the final exam in 2 weeks time. She was late in getting back most of the assignments and I found that it was over her head in returning things and marking them down to be graded. Skip.
Be careful with this class (online). Her grading and feedback are really vague, so you never know what you really did wrong in the assignments in time to not repeat the mistakes for the midterm/final. I would avoid.
awesome teacher. she is so nice, caring and sweet its hard to say anything bad about her. There no tests, a few easy homework assignments and a few final projects that were due the last day of class. When she assigns the wall street journal article projects don't wait till the last minute like I did. Start early its really simple just a lot of work
Snyder is such good professor and really respects her students and really wants them all to pass. She's strict with her rules, but they are only there for the students benefit. Definitely take her if you want to LEARN your studies. She makes corny jokes and is always lively in class, which is a plus. AMAZING PROFESSOR AND HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is taking econ 2010, she super funny and knows how to keep the class interesting. Her test are pretty easy if your good at memorizing things. She gives you exactly what you need to study and what will be on her test so if you do study, this class is a for sure A or B
Took her for intermediate macro (econ301).. joke of a class. class consisted of a midterm, final, group project, and individual current events. the exams they were take home, and she gave us the questions before hand. current events took no brians. group project we hardly finished it and did half of it wrong and my group got a 92. overall- EASY A
Joke of a class, we were given A's and B's for haphazard work.
Professor Snyder is an amazing professor. She loves teaching and loves to get students involved in discussions in class. Her assignments may seem like a lot of work but she gives you enough time to complete them. If you have to do journal entries then do them every week rather than the end of the semester.
Class isn't really hard but the take home midterm and take home final are very long. The project is a lot of work and pretty long as well. You'll definitely learn in this class and she is funny and makes the topics interesting. Class is optional after awhile but it is definitely worth attending because if not you will miss a lot of information.
Professor Snyder is a great easy and laidback Professor. All you have to do is show up and you will definitely get an A or B. All of her exams are take home, so as long as you pay attention in class youre good. She is also humorous and tries to make class interesting. Her lectures are good as well. Would definitely take her for all Econ
I took Prof. Snyder's MBA course. It was fantastic! She truly cares about you learning and understanding the topic/material. She tries to make class fun and enjoyable. There is a group project and presentation. My advice is get a study group because that is what literally helped me pass the class. Great experience! One of the best Economics prof!
Great choice for a professor really its an easy A or B
Professor is a great! Her classes were enjoyable and informative. She did an optional zoom with us every week which helped a lot. There's a lot of work but she is very flexible with due dates and thoughtful. Definitely would recommend!
She gives 2 hw and a discussion boards a week, uploads recorded lectures and power points, and 3 exams. Replies to emails quickly, very helpful, and helps with assignments. Would recommend anyone and everyone to take for a very easy grade. No book required.
Dr. Snyder is by far one of the best professors I have ever had. I learned so much from her and enjoyed her lectures. She treated her students with respect and genuinely tried to make sure her students learned. Dr. Snyder is well versed in all things ECON. If you can, take her class - it is HIGHLY recommended. You will enjoy it and learn a lot
Professor Snyder is the best professor I have ever had. She is very clear in what is expected, will go over anything you need help with, very understanding about having a life outside of school, and very personable. I learned so much from her and would recommend taking her classes.
Professor Snyder is one of the best professors, I actually learned a lot in her class. Does not take attendance but sometimes will make you turn in class assignments.
Professor Snyder is great. If you go to her online classes that she has once a week, she will go over the homework. The homework is basically the exams so if you do well on those, you will be fine! I highly suggest taking her because you will actually learn a lot.
Very confusing because she didn't teach at all, just gave videos from other semesters. Class I took was async and couldn't take it in person (HIGHLY recommend you do) so all the instructions online was so weird, she never assigned any specific date (like week 1,2). After you understand how to do the assignments, it's very easy but get tutoring!
Class was awesome. It was all online and her previous semester's classes were pre-recorded and posted. Her homework was directly correlated to what she taught in class and her information was engaging and helpful. Great class, also a fair and easy grader. 2 homework assignments per week, 1 discussion board post, 1 quiz, 2 exams for the semester.
Her lectures that she posts are great and the assignments and material are very manageable and teach you a lot. You have to put in effort but I thoroughly enjoyed her class.
Dr. Tricia Snyder is GOAT!!!!! She knows how to teach, is organized, is knowledgeable, and always slides in a good joke. The modules have a heavy amount of learning content, so do not underestimate it! You must stay on track and watch her videos and slides from START to FINISH. She makes learning exciting and relatable. She is a MUST TAKE!!!!!
Dr. Snyder was amazing! Class lectures are pre-recorded and made available for the entire semester. Although you can complete all the modules simultaneously, I would not recommend it. Go with the class schedule; you will do well on three exams. (no midterm or final) Great communication outside of class and quick responses. I recommend this class.
I had a hard time wrapping my head around micro. Its a tough subject to learn online on your own. The class could have been a bit more organized. I got through it mostly by just trying to emulate the homework from material posted or outside sources. IDK, maybe micro is the same no matter where you take it.
