The greatest professor I have had at Delta so far. She makes learning fun. She is very helpful when writing papers, and is very friendly to her students.

She personally goes over every paper with you. You have no choice but to get an A. She is an excellent teacher.

very open teacher nice and cool

I had her for the internet course. I never meant her but she seems very nice. The class was easy for me. She lists all the assignments and instructions for each section clearly. Papers were not bad at all, she gives you many options for topics. Good.

I had Trish for ENG 111 online. What a great experience. This was my first experience with college, and have been out of school for 14 years. Trish made me feel very comfortable. I would suggest any student taking ENG 111 to take her class.

Don't believe the negative comment. I'm not a Lit major, but "O" taught me to appreciate it through music, movies & discussion. She don't play though--this is a real college class. Losers beware!

I thought she was hard to but she helped me pass. EZ on the eyez and I like to listen to her talk.

Took both classes online. She was very helpful and responded quickly to questions. Did a good job of responding to disc. board posts as well. Very good teacher, I would recommend her to anyone!

Professor O'Connor was my favorite instructor at Delta. I took her for both my ENG classes and I even took British Lit. (which I hadn't the slightest interest in) because she was teaching it. She's very down to earth and extremely helpful. I would recommend her (and have) to anyone who hasn't taken their 111 and 112 classes yet. Fantastic!

It is a easy class, but very fun!!

This class was very easy, and i love the teacher. she was great. Advice, Read the book, its not hard and the movie is nothing like the book.

I dont think i really like the class all that much, but oconnor is not a bad teacher. The class overall is not that easy, but not too hard.

The O is a very good teacher. You work in groups a lot. She might seem tough but just give her a chance and give Seabiscuit a chance too! it might seem boring but she goes over everything right before the quiz so she just gave you the answers just listen to the discussion.

I had her quite a few years ago, but I'm sure she's still a fantastic professor. She's a very affluent and personable woman. The classes weren't that difficult for me, but even if you're not a good writer she's very helpful. One of the best instructors I've ever had.

i loved having trish as a teacher. she really enjoys what she does and wants her students to do good. seabiscuit is kind of boring at first but read it because it has good life lessons. pay attention during class discussions because she tells you exactly what is one the quiz before you take it. this was my best class so far. definatly take trish!!

Trish makes class always fun. She is willing to help you out if you had trouble on a assignment and explains stuff clearly. That is why I took her again for the 2nd time. I recommand her to anyone who is taking English.

The best English teacher I ever had.

I would recommend this class for people who need to tune. Ms. O'Connor is fun and if you have any questions on essays ask and she is there to help you. Always take notes when she is writing on the board and take side margin notes in the books for the semester. Overall, she is a great professor that explains everything step by step. Great Prefossor

Take notes. Be ontime go to every session. Ms. O'Connor and her asst. was will help for me and others. When you answer a question just remember to say cha ching. There is exams so read all your notes because that is the exam so study very hard and you will make it. Always ask questions.

Excellent Teacher!! She is more than willing to help you if you communicate with her. The class is very easy if you come to class and do the Homework. The homework is not hard. You read sections in the textbook and answer questions. She teaches you skills that you don't even need to read the whole reading. Her writing assignments are easy also.

Prof. O'Connor is one of the best instructor I ever had for English class. She teaches you proper English and you can see a significant change at the end of the semester. She super and outstanding professor.

Miss O'Connor I hate to lose her she is friendly, you can talk about lots of things with her and I am greatly going to miss her I wish I could have her for my higher level english courses. I also had her for 090 in the fall and she has a great personality and is very helpful.

Took British Lit online. There are 14 online quizzes and 15 discussion posts. You could choose one of the multiple readings to discuss and then comment twice on others posts. No tests. Course was pretty easy to get an A and transfers to meet English requirements at SVSU. All readings available online, no books.

Amazing professor. If you can get her, do it!

I took British Literature from her and it was the easiest class ever! Minimal homework (1 quiz, 1 Discussion post, 2 comments per week). If I could have worked ahead I could have done this class in 2 weeks easily. The only down side is that she takes a long time to grade. It took 1 month before I got my first assignment graded.

Trish was a great instructor for my online ENG111 course. The material was fair as long as you read the text and used the resources provided. The writing assignments aren't too difficult and Trish is there to help whenever needed. She considers herself your "coach" instead of professor which is accurate, as she is very helpful and encouraging.

She is really caring and you can tell she loves teaching. Her homework is pretty easy. The only problem I had with her is she doesnt really grade work until the end of the semester so you dont know what grade you have.

I love Prof O'Connor. She is easy to talk to and is really passionate about English and really works to make sure you enjoy the material. She is super helpful when it comes to your projects. If you ask she will help you edit and perfect. There is online discussions and quizzes but as long as you show up to class and put in the hard work you're ok.

Only quizzes and discussion boards. Discussion boards are pretty long and there is a lot of reading. But if you make the time, you can do well! No books too they are all available online.

She has been an excellent prof. she helps in anyway she can, gives you her personal cell in case you need anything and will get back to you in a timely manner. She does care if you pass and will help you succeed! Discussion boards are sometimes long and quizzes every week. Can get overwhelming but it is fairly easy.

Great class. Discussion posts take a fair amount of effort but relying on the rubric and topic criteria an A is easy. By going just one step further than basic requirements the result is 100% every time.

Prof Trish is AMAZING. I absolutely adore her. She is so helpful. I was scared to take her class because I have never had to do college writing, and she made it easy for me to understand and helped 110% along the way. She is very clear and if you don't understand, ASK HER. She will communicate with you.

I took this class as a spring class, but there wasn't any more work per week than my fall or winter classes. Professor O'Connor doesn't use a textbook and there are only 2 essays to write. Quizzes and discussion boards are an easy A. Rubrics are specific and grading criteria is clear. This is an easy class to pass, I'd recommend it to anyone.

Trish was wonderful! All of the weekly tasks were outlined and very clear. She offered great feedback and cared about you. Trish made me remember why I love writing. I learned a lot during my short time with her and appreciated that there wasn't a textbook!

Professor Trish provided detailed weekly roadmaps that outlined homework expectations and deadlines for the week. She was very accessible and kind by phone and even gave me some extra time on my deadlines when I needed it. She also provides excellent feedback throughout the semester. I hope to get her in any other English classes I take. 10/10

She's very good professor. Great feedback. And she's very helpful and also has good road maps to explain the work. This was a good class and I did just fine with the accelerated course. It's super easy and you actually learn something!!! Love her.
