Professor very accommodating and clearly cares about the students in his class. Labs are done biweekly but the reports are time consuming. Show up understand the labs and complete them. If an extension is needed he is receptive and gives opportunity for that. Had a pizza party last official class for the students! Will be taking him in the summer.

It's a lab course and it heavily depends on the TA as labs are at 45%. I had a great TA so I have no complaints. Pala's lectures are really straightforward, it's hard to mess up in this class. But again if you get a good TA then it's an easy A!

Absolute G. Very lecture heavy but he knows the course material. Exams are fairly difficult but he always tells you what kind of problems you should expect. Still gives projects for a 1 month long summer class. Overall hes a very fair professor who actually cares about the class hes teaching.

Took this class over the summer. Pace was a little overwhelming, but overall, I think it went well, and I enjoyed it. Lots of note-taking, hw is textbook problem. Final project and final exam

Reddy is a good Professor and if you attend class, pay attention and do good on the group project. You will do good in his class. He also teaches a lot of valuable knowledge outside of school of the engineering world and could be very useful for your engineering career.

Good professor! The whiteboard lectures are great, and I definitely learned. If you plan to take a 6-9 with him, be aware he works elsewhere and will probably reschedule to 6:30 or else be late. I enjoyed the class and would recommend.

I took his ME316 class for the Summer 2023 session. Initially I was worried I wouldn't get the material right away. Professor was very understanding and made every lecture easy to understand. I'd say, homework is essential for this course. It makes the exams easier to approach. Pay close attention, and take notes. This course was amazing.

Class is very straightforward and easy! Labs are done in groups and the theory is based on the textbook and the lecture/slides the week before. Alternates the due dates of labs and homeworks, usually due by the next class. The grading is fair and the professor encourages questions. He also gives clues about what's going to be on the exams!!

Reddy is a very outgoing and easy professor to take for Mech Lab I. Labs are conducted within a group and the reports are due the following week. He's super chill and understanding. Don't be afraid to ask for extensions. The problem with ME 406 is the vague rubrics that change with every lab. Grading is pretty arbitrary. Not a big deal as long as you hand in everything complete and on time.

Pala's lab us straight-forward. If you come to class every week, do the lab and sample calculations you'll be fine. His tests are reasonable but he tells you what to expect on each one. He is also very flexible with due dates and is willing to accommodate as long as you have a good reason.

He is a very fair professor when it comes to grading and his lectures are brief and usually finished by around 8-8:30pm (considering a 6-10pm class). As for the lab reports, the grading criteria is very specific and clear as to what it wants, just complete those requirements and you will get a good grade. Please take him for Mech Lab 1, hes great

Amazing Professor

Overall good professor who tries to make it easy to pass the class and you can easily get a good grade if you put in the effort. Has clear rubrics and guidelines for all reports and will help with and review your own calculations and graphs. Grading for reports aren't too bad, you'll do fine as long as you follow the rubric.

His slides contain everything you need to pass the exams. Don't miss class; during the lectures, he will give you hints about what will be on the exam, and you are allowed one cheat sheet. Also, do all the labs.

Professor Pala has been very helpful this semester, he really wants to help students in any way he can help. The slides are very helpful and he's very lenient with due dates of lab reports. Would highly recommend for Mech Lab 1.

Professor Reddy is one of my favorite professors I've had at Njit. He cares about you and wants you to succeed. I missed a few assignments due to school-sanctioned events and he took his time to help me get credit for them. Take him if you can. I looked forward to class every week.

Reddy is a great professor. He is always willing to help you with any questions and he tries to help you understand the material as much as possible. For ME 405 just make sure to follow the lab manual and the lab grading criteria and you'll get an A.

Lots of labs and lab reports, but they are relatively straight forward and the grading is lenient. Exams are not too difficult if you pay attention to lecture. Some of the lecture notes and topics are slightly confusing, so be prepared to spend some time figuring stuff out. He's a nice guy and cares about what he teaches, would take him again.

He is a bit soft spoken, and with his accent it can be difficult to understand him at times, but it doesn't impact his teachings at all. Overall great professor, had him for ME343 and ME406. Class-wise, gives a lot of lectures. Soft-spoken but otherwise very enthusiastic to teach. If you let him know ahead of time, he will give extensions for lab reports.
