EXCELLENT TEACHER

Mr. Bryant is a very good math teacher. I can say if I ever have to take any other math classes, I will be in his class. He is very helpful, funny at times and does not want his student to fail.

I really enjoyed this class despite an difficult semester for me. I think he is a great patience, and understanding professor. I wish I can take him with me with me to my four year college to assist me with my upper math classes.. However, I will still call him up for assistance when needed.. Great professor!

I like Mr. Bryant he was a good teacher and after a slow start it was a really good class i suggest that anyone taking him for trig should really pay attention we they get to chaper 6, because he speeds up a lot.

Mr. Bryant, is a great professor. I for one do not like Math, its challenging, and stressful if you havent taken a math course regulary. But, Mr. Bryant, is awesome. I seem to understand when he lectures in class.. He is an awesome person as well as teacher..

I took Professor Bryant for both 110 and 111. He's a extremely nice, helpful guy. He explains the material well and made Trigonometry a breeze for me! Would recommend him to anyone.

Mr. Bryant is AWESOME! I took him for both of my required math classes this year and I am actually really gonna miss him after this semester. He is helpful, funny, and explains the material well. Do your work, because as in any math class it is cumulative. Overall, my favorite professor at BRCC.

Very nice guy & very easy to talk too. Good at explaining concepts. Beware of chapter 6, it becomes a different class after that.

AMAZING PROFESSOR!Extrmely heplful and also very nice and concerned with his students success.Really knows his math and gives numerous examples for clarity.Always makes sure students comprehend b4 moving on.Uses lots of real life analogies to make connections which are very helpful.Would recommend him to anyone and would take him for any math class

TAKE THIS CLASS! He is the first math instructor that was able to make math understandable and clear. He moves a bit slow, but that can be good for some students. He truly cares about the students. I have seen that firsthand. Don't text in his class, show up, take good notes, do the homework and you'll be more than fine.

Professor Bryant is hands down the best math instructor at BRCC. He will go out of his way to help students succeed in his class, and takes their success personally. Explains concepts clearly, always willing to meet with students for extra help, and the nicest guy you could ever meet. Take him, you won't regret it.

Mr. Bryant is one of the best math professors at BRCC. He takes his time when explaining concepts, gives bonus points, and review concepts over and over until you understand. He moves slowly but as a nontraditional student this was helpful in my success in the class. He hates texting while in class.

He is very thorough and clear with notes and does a lot of examples, and color codes the steps. His homework assignments are given weekly, but not very intensive. His tests are pretty easy and he gives bonus questions. Take him! Especially if you aren't good in math.

Material is difficult, But Mr. Bryant makes it very doable. Great teacher.

Easy to understand. Gives a few bonus points here and there. He comes on time to class. Overall a good professor.

He's probably the best choice for Math211. A great teacher and makes the course very understandable and manageable. There are four tests.(all with one bonus question) The tests are short and if you study enough you will pass them all. Hardly used my textbook but an ebook of it came with the Webassign.

Good teacher. Not easy, but fair. Explains the material in an easy-to-understand manner (or at least as easy as it can be explained). Text book, or at least online access code purchase is required to complete the homework assignments. I would suggest getting the textbook too though

Be ready to take notes. Tests are 10 questions with bonuses sometimes. The average in my class was a high C, for the people that always showed up. I have a B as of right now with two more tests to go. He's a great teacher that you can tell loves math. I'd recommend him to anyone.

Professor Bryant is an engaging instructor. Starts out the first half of the semester at a comfortable pace but then picks up speed and drops the explanations in forms of rules. Although I took notes, the last two chapters work explanation was instead of writing down the rules, "here let me show you". I needed to write the rules. I struggled.

I've taken College Algebra once already and received a D. I will be receiving a B this semester. Bryant is easy to understand & answers questions without making anyone feel silly. He does give HW on a reg basis & his "study guides" are quizzes, FYI, but in the end I understand it all so much better. I recommend him to anyone w difficulty in math!!

Mr. Bryant was a GREAT instructor, math is my weakest subjects but he assisted me the entire semester, even after lectures, during his office hours he took out the time necessary to help me understand the material more. He's not the easiest grader, but that's because his test aren't hard at all, just study and do all homework necessary.!

If you are not great at math he is able to make sure you are able to grasp a topic and is available to assist out side of the class. Very kind and helpful.

I took Troy Bryant for Calculus one in the summer of 2016.. Awesome professor. he goes above and beyond to make sure you understand the material and explains each step thoroughly.. he is considerate when it comes to grading, just make sure you go to class and do your homework on time.

Professor Bryant is an amazing professor! He shows you step-by-step to do every problem in his class and provides a study guide homework that is equivalent to the test so expect your grade to be earned on the work you put in. A friendly and funny professor, He wanted to open a ski club in Baton Rouge. I would take him again given the chance.

AMAZING TEACHER! his teaching is great but his exams are hard as hell. If you are good in math you should be good and if you have questions or even want one on one, he is willing to go over material with you in his office hours But i personally am not good in math and his exams killed me. Doesn't give any bonus opportunities.

He grades fair and is open to any questions or concerns and doesn't make you feel stupid. He'd rather you just pass and retain info! Homework is online but the lectures are informative, so you rarely use the book. All else fails- he'll spend as much time as you need in office hours or what ever else he can fit it. Totally recommend this guy!

I took Professor Bryant for college algebra (Math 1113). very patient. Takes time explaining things to students who don't understand even the most basic of concepts. Encourages questions, but his tests are hard bc they are only 10 questions 1 bonus, and you must show ALL work, so coming from an online class I missed a lot of points bc of that.

Math is not my strongest subject but he made it more understandable. He is very caring and will thoroughly re-explain a problem if need be. He is one of the best math teachers i have ever had.

Math has never been my strong point, and I'm coming out of this semester with an A. Mr. Bryant teaches in a way that's easy to understand. Show up to class, do the homework and go over the study guide 2 or 3 times and you'll be fine.

Mr. Bryant has been the easiest math professor Ive had! This is coming from someone who has only taken remedial math classes and took him for college algebra. Those classes did help but he pieces everything together and it makes the work so much easier! You do have to put in work and show up to class or you wont pass! Wish I could take him again.

This is my second time taking his class and I absolutely love him! I wish he was teaching Statistics! He takes his time with every student!

Bryant is hands down one of the best Algebra teachers BRCC has to offer! He is not only skilled in breaking down concepts but is kind & patient; something much needed for those, like myself, who struggle greatly on the subject. Students are never made to feel inferior. Tips: make class, do hw, take notes , practice, don't hesitate to ask quest.

Professor Bryant is absolutely great. He makes sure all of his students under the material he is lecturing. There hasnt been one zoom session that he handles lightly. He goes over every single thing in detail. I would recommend him to anyone! All he assigns is mymathlab assignments and test to cover certain chapters

Professor Bryant gives an abundance of notes that are easy to understand. He explains everything very clearly and will go out of his way to explain anything in class if you don't understand. He is extremely fair with the schedule and due dates. Unfortunately, he does not respond to emails.

Super down-to-earth. I had him for Cal 1. He explains concepts slowly and with a smile on his face every day. The grading is test heavy, but he drops your lowest grade and there is plenty of MyMathLab stuff to even out your grade. If you don't understand a concept or are having trouble with homework, he gladly makes extra office time for you.

Troy was cool. I took him online. He only gives chapter HW and 2 exams. Lots of HW, doesn't post lectures, basically have to figure it out on your own but with math apps, it was a breeze. Exams are not proctored. Required to upload scratch work. He is a slow grader and slow responder. Required a textbook but didn't need it. I would take him again.

Professor Bryant is an great choice when scheduling math classes. I took him for Calculus 1 and plan to take him for calculus 2. The COURSE IS HARD, If you expect to do well, also expect to study outside of class. Unless you have a photographic memory, there is a lot to memorize in this course. He provides test prep material for upcoming exams.

Mr Bryant sends out his own personal lectures, some are very long but he break it down so well i actually was able to understand math for the first time. Exams we not proctored. He is very helpful and always responded fast. Study exams are exaclty like the midterm/final

Mr. Bryant is THE BEST MATH professor in this college. I took him for Plane Trig and I wish I had taken him for calculus. His lectures are very thorough and detailed. He goes over problems that are on the homework in class so when you get to the homework you know what you are doing. He grades fairly and offers bonus points for certain things.

The lectures were really engaging and funny. He frequently gave extra time on assignments and always required our shown work. At the end of the semester, he reopened the MML assignments and gave 30 bonus points even wrote formulas during each test. His class was perfect except written assignments don't get graded until the last day of the semester.

Genuine and caring professor who puts a lot of effort into his lectures. He does a great job explaining these concepts in a format that's concise and accessible. He also does a great job responding to emails quickly and in a caring way.

Show up. Ask questions. Do the Study Guides until you get an A and you will pass this class. Excellent professor.
