trudi is the only professor i have had who was very personable and cared about her students. so what if she doesn't teach by the book, psychology isn't by the book in the real world. she's amazing.

This is the easiest class you will ever take.

Very nice lady, class goes by very quick, you get to watch lots of movies :) She is a great professor, very helpful, easy, and understanding...I reccomend the class!!!

GREAT PROF! She's SO enthusiastic about teaching and life itself that it's impossible to be excited for her class. You have to do a lot of reading on your own, but come one it's college! But if you do have questions, she'll go over them with you.

Easy--no homework, 3 regular tests made of 50 multiple choice questions, no midterm or final, no papers. Some test questions are tricky but the average tests grades for the class were around 86. She tells you the pages to study for the tests--easy take it

This class sucked. I only opened the book twice: both times for the take home exams. Total "easy A" class. Waste of time (especially at 8am)

She is such a sweet lady and cares about her students very much! She explains everything very well. Didn't even open the book or attend lectures for the first test and got a B! NO FINAL and tests aren't cummulative. Don't even bother reading the book.

This class if definitely easy. Listen to the TAs they are very helpful, going to class isn't. If you're truely interested in psychology try a different teacher but for the average student this is an easy slacker class --- although 3 tests making up your entire grade isn't so cool!

VERY EASY! Its your basic psych class-interesting material but not hard at all. Tests avgs were about B+ every time. Shes not the greatest teacher, but its definately easy enough to just read the book. Lots of movies, can get away with sleeping through lecture.

this class is easy ...you don't have to go very often and can read the book and still maintain a good grade..i don't understand y so many ppl complained abt her..i actually like her as a teacher and she always includes her personal stories to make it more interesting

Take this class for an easy A. She's clear and helpful too, you won't regret it, unless you are a psych major

I really enjoyed this class. Feinstein truly loves what she does--she cares a lot about her students and always enhances her lectures with personal stories or encourages the class to contribute their own. highly recommended!

Phoebe from friends @ age 70. She looks n walks like a little T-Rex. All tests r multiple choice, questions are pretty easy as long as you read the book. She repeats some lectures twice or even 3 times without knowing it. Class is basically stuff from the book plus her short stories. Easy A/A-

it's obvious that she knows a lot of the field- but she's not the type to bombard you. keeps the class interesting and wants to see her students pass (with flying colors..) def a grade booster

Take this psych class if you can! Tests are directly from the book and she tells you exactly what will be on it. Little effort can earn you atleast a B. She is a crazy lady, but it makes class interesting (if you go).

If anyone cannot appreciate a teacher like this...you all don't know what college life is all about. Why would anyone be so rude as to complain about a teacher who holds the perfect "day after a heavy night of drinking class" where you can still get an A. -Very sweet woman-deserves some respect!

she's an easy professor as long as you go to class. Her tests are her words. You can almost hear her saying things while you take the test. Don't bother reading the text, just go to class and listen...you will walk out with an "A"

Professor Feinstein is one of the nicest and sweetest professors I've had at BU. She genuinely cares about her students, however many don't attempt to get to know her. She's takes too much crap from a few extremely rude kids (aka a certain someone who called her out in front of the entire class, rude doesn't even describe it). I'd recommend her.

She's a very sweet woman and her class is really easy if you have any semblance of a good student. Going to class and casually reading will guarantee you an A. She's very willing to help you understand concepts and the TA's were great too.

3 tests, each 50 multiple choice. no quizzes, midterm, final, or papers. attendance not taken at lectures. while all the work is studying for a test 3 times and this is "easy", don't be fooled into thinking that's an automatic A. the tests are fair, but getting 6 questions wrong each test = B. hard to control your grade. prof and TAs are nice.

This woman is wonderful. She has great stories/examples for many of the ideas she talks about in lecture and it is a very interesting class. although everything is rather basic, it's a great overall review and a lot of fun. she is definitely the best general psych professor from what i hear about the others. plus, she's such a happy, bouncy person

What a joy this class was. No stress or pressure. Didn't crack the book once. We watched a lot of really interesting movies. TAKE THIS CLASS.

Professor interacts with class and makes class fun by asking the class to provide real life examples; go to lecture and take good notes because many questions come from notes but use book as reinforcer; class is easy if you study - 3 multiple choice exams and no final; recommend this class but it is important to go to lecture

The lectures are basically straight from the book, so if you can choose to either read the book or go to lecture and get a decent grade. Not easy to get an A because of BU's curve and the size of the class, but she bumps people up if they're on the verge of getting a higher grade. TFs are very helpful though they have very few office hours.

This class is easy in the sense that all you have to do is go to class and take 3 tests, but as previously mentioned if you miss 6 on the test you have a B. It's an easy course, but don't expect an A unless you put a lot of time and effort into it. I got a B- and didn't open the book until the night before each test.

Oh trudi..what can i say about her, she is the best psych prof ever, you basically have 3 tests, no final, everything comes straight from the book and she tells you exactly what pages to study and what not to study. Tests are extremely easy ans straightforward. Very nice woman and she's not too bad to look at either......she's a hottie

The material is really interesting and you get to watch some interesting movies as well. She tries to make it easy for students by telling them everything they need to know. Pretty low key stress-wise although its pretty hard to get an A. I really enjoyed the class, though.

She repeats herself A LOT, but she tries to keep the material interesting with her personal stories. Loved her class but it is hard to get an A.

Feinstein is nice, but boring as heck. I can't imagine how anyone could get less than a B in this class unless they never picked up the book. This was an easy A-. Read, go to class a couple times a week. 98% of her lecture is painfully quoted word for word from the text, but that leaves no questions about what to study.

She lectured very slowly so everyone can copy exactly what she is saying into their notes. Very easy class, tests are based off exactly what pages she tells you study before each test. Don't need to go to class often, just the one before the test and then read the book.

Love her to death. Class was relatively easy, I got a solid B-plus without cracking the textbook until a few nights before the test. Sweet, sweet lady if you go see her outside of class. Highly recommend this class!

psych of the family (summer) best course i've taken @ bu. Rediculously easy grader, open book tests. Easiest "paper" i've ever written...she gave us like 15 essay questions to answer at home. the books are good (novels). I got a solid A in the class, it was interesting, she's adorable, she's understanding, and the class is fun.

sweetest lady EVER! doesnt know too much about psychology but teaches as much as you need to know for the exams. very interesting class discussions, videos etc. will even give you extra time on exams if you come late-she s that nice. I dont know about other courses but for psych 101 take her.

Class ridiculously easy. Dictates the notes to you word for word and tells you exactly what pages to study. Rambles on sometimes, but if you go to every class, take notes, read the book, and study, you'll do fine. Some test questions are confusing sometimes, so make sure you carefully think things over. 3 non-cumulative multiple choice tests.

I love Trudi! She's the best! Anyone who says anything otherwise has a stick up their butts and should shut their mouth! The class is easy, I admit, but why complain about that? Her videos and lectures are interesting and she's the most adorable lady on the planet. TAKE HER!

trudi is amazing!! This was my first psych class and she made me want to major in the subject. she really wants all of her student to succeed. The classes are intersting and movies are fun, and even if you dont make it to all the classes you can still do well on the tests. take this class!!!

She doesn't take attendance, but to do well in the class, you really have to go and take good notes. Do the readings too because she sometimes takes random facts from there and puts them on the test. She's a really good lecturer.

Overall the class is a really great introduction to Psychology. If you read the textbook you're set, as most of the lectures are based on the textbook. The videos presented in class are definitely really fascinating. Sometimes Feinstein teaches too much to the book or repeats parts of lectures, which can be frustrating. Test questions are often very ambiguous.

Trudi is a great professor and a lot of fun. She's relatively easy as long as you read from the text book (every chapter). She goes on tangents occasionally, but the class was great and really made me interested in psych.

Great class, very relaxed and easy. Trudi is a good teacher- she clearly loves the subject and I was never lost or confused. She is an excellent professor and the class is really good overall. I would highly recommend taking it.

Definitely take PS101 with Feinstein, it's an easy GPA booster. She sticks to the textbook in lectures and does go off in tangents and can be inapproachable, but I still really enjoyed the course, it made me want to minor in Psych...

She is a great professor and really upbeat and sweet. She loves what she teaches and loves her class too. She is very, very clear on the information and reading the book helps instill that information. Her exams are straightforward and if you know the info. you should do fine! She is a great person and a great professor!

This professor was honestly great. Sure she's repititious and she goes on tangents about anecdotes, but it's the stories she tells in class that make it interesting and help you remember the concepts. Excellen, fun, interesting teacher

Very kind and funny. You aren't required to go to class and you almost don't need to as she pulls her material straight from the textbook. However, she emphasizes what will be on the test, which is helpful. The tests aren't hard as long as you study. You don't need to analyze, just know the basics.

Prof. Feinstein is really sweet and class always flies by. Occasionally she goes on little tangents but they're always interesting and funny. Her exams aren't difficult and you can get by well as long as you read the text and pay attention to points she highlights during class. A great professor for freshmen.

Trudi is an excellent teacher. She's cool and understanding and before her class I had no interest in Psych. She's funny and has interesting stories and she's always in a good mood. TAKE THIS CLASS

fantastic, informative, if quite easy, teacher. everything she explained in class was so clear there was no reason the crack a textbook. she provides very clear explanations of topics while integrating anecdotes to keep things interesting. despite the ease of a course, as a psych major I still think its a great introduction

When I first signed up for Feinstein I was told she is really easy and such a sweetheart. Now, I realize she is not THAT easy! Her tests were mc but a tad confusing - lots of reading because the textbook are most of the test. She also surprised me cuz she was not that understanding. I was a little bit dissapointed in the end. I'm at fault too tho!

Some questions on the exam are a little misleading, but I went in to her when we got results for the first exam and explained my case. She was totally understanding- willing to give me that question in case it mattered in my grade. Others went in to her at the end of the semester just so they would bump up their score, which didnt work. I got an A.

Likes to use the same jokes over and over and have people raise their hands if...constantly. Overall a funny little old lady. Pay attention to lecture and exams will be easy.

This was a super easy class and the material was really clear. She teaches pretty much straight from the book. Prof Feinstein is a really nice and optimistic person though and the required readings were interesting.

The tests are pretty straight forward from her powerpoints. Three midterms and no final exam. It's not a hard class. I recommend her!

Decent, interesting, easy professor. I went to every lecture, and she basically lectures the textbook chapters on ppt. Although I hardly read the textbook, very few questions on the exam (which are mult choice) come from textbook readings. If you go to class and study, you'll do fine. Readings would be helpful, but not required in my opinion.

i loved this class! it was my favorite one fall semester. feinstein is very sweet and lively. this class is not for psych majors if you are looking for intense detail. her class is more of a simple introduction for those who have to take the course. bring a laptop and just follow her powerpoint slides and you should do fine, use book as a ref.

A very sweet lady who cannot teach. She reads off the powerpoint but the material comes straight from the book so you don't even have to read. It is a super easy class, make sure you come to lecture if you don't read, and take notes, exams are super easy!

Sweetest lady! Class is pretty easy and she makes it interesting with personal examples. Shes very personable and nice, just dont be late to class. You dont need to read the books, just look over the textbook before the exam and make sure to know everything from your notes. Its easier than AP Psych. And tests arent cumulative which is a godsend

Feinstein is good if you want to do well in the class. The tests are all multiple choice, and all from the notes and the book. The textbook is irrelevant to the tests, aside from reviewing topics covered in the lecture. She talks endlessly on her personal life stories rather than the actual lecture, but if you can endure that you will be fine.

LOVE HER! She's a little loopy at times but so sweet and so much fun. Easy class. Take!
