It is a self-paced class, so it is not too bad, she is a pretty good instructor.

I am soooo learning much more than turning on the computer . I think she is one of the best teachers on campus, she knows her stuff but isn't full of herself like some. She really cares and has a good sense of humor.

I thought she taught the class well, it was fairly well laid out, and she was pretty helpful. This class was fairly easy, but you did have to pace yourself to get throught the book.

Trudy is GREAT...you will learn in her class and must pace yourself, but it is really not difficult. Also took 105 & did not expect to learn anything new, but I did! She's the best! I really don't understand the lower rating for her at all!!

just do assignments out the books, turn in anytime before the tests.

Funny prof once you get to know her. Good sense of humor. Fairly easy class, don't get behind! Get everything in before tests and you'll be alright. Doesn't seem like she knows what she's talking about, but is willing to learn to help you out.readtolearn

Easiest A in the world!

Really cool, very helpful. She brought in uncrustables for the whole class to sample because it was in our chapter, to me that was an indication that she's into the class and not just the paycheck.

The tests are made of questions from each homwork sheet...really easy. The class only lasts 15 minutes at the most and then you can leave. She doesn't really "teach" you anything...its mostly filling out multiple choice homwork papers and those questions are on teh test. REALLY easy A+

It is like having a sub every day

Shes a real sweetheart and I enjoy her class. She makes her class easy but that helps because its an easy A. Shes fun and outgoing and someone you could talk to about anything!

Awesome teacher! The class is very simple and she does everything possible to get you an A. A worksheet everyday and then a quiz every two chapters with a cheat sheet. Really simple...DEF will take her again!

If you need a break from your average hard as heck classes take Trudy. She does keep you busy but gives you every chance on earth to get an A. She uses the text. Lectures are short. We often got let out early if we were all caught up. Tests are straight from book. EASY! You will love this professor!

Really a great teacher. She has a great sense of humor and very helpful if you need help. She uses the book so you don't waste your money on buying a book a professor never uses. She lectures and gives worksheets to really make it sink in. If you do the reading, go to class, study you will do OK

Trudy is an amazing teacher. I have enjoyed every class. As long as you turn in your assignments each day you will be getting an A. Plus i don't think i've ever been in that class longer than 25 min.

Short classes even when their only supposed to be 50 minutes. MEMORIZE THE STUDY GUIDES AND YOULL GET AN A ON TESTS

Easiest class i have taken at ferris. homework is fill in the blank sheets from the book that you can do in class in groups. tests are exact copies of homework only they are blank. doesnt lecture a lot. lets you just do the homework and then leave. you are never there for the whole class period, just about 20min or so

so easy. the test questions are directly from the worksheets, and the projects are simple reasearch. If you don't get an A, then you shouldn't be in college.

Take this professor. This is such a good class, it teachs you about real life issues in real estate and this is such a good blow off class. I recommend all seniors with senioritis to take this class. I swear you will love and hate this class all in one, and the only thing you have to do is be prepared to go to class every morning.

I absolutely loved Trudy!! I took her for Business 122 and again for Management 301 because I couldn't get enough of her and her teaching style. She has an excellent way of keeping you interested in the topic and also, has great incentives for coming to class! If you don't get an A in her classes, then you clearly should not be in college.

So easy. I have an 8 o'clock, so I don't go to class very often, maybe once a week, and just turn in the assignments over WebCT. I'm still getting a very high A in the class. If you've ever had a class on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, or use those quite often than this class will be a no brainer.

VERRY HELPFUL. i missed a lot of class and she went out of her way to help. i highly recommend her.

EASY CLASS. She never teaches, you just go at your own pace; following the step by step instructions in the book. The class can be frusterating though if youre like me and dont like computers. It's still easy tho...just a headache. Nice lady.

Trudy is amazing. I would have taken her for every class if given the opportunity. She seems like a soft old woman at first, but she has a lot of real world experience. Talk to her, get to know her, she'll remember you and want to get to know you too.

Easy A! She is very nice and when you do the work ahead of time, you don't need to show up to class. The only times you do show up is when they give you the project instructions and tests. Other than that, it's fun and easy.

Easy class. No lectures besides what the projects are about & the first two lessons. Has her assistants do basically everything for her while she just watches the class. She's a really nice lady though to talk to. I would recommend taking it with her. No matter who you take it with the code for the program ISYS uses is $80 or more.

So easy. Probably the easiest class I've taken in college. She will help if needed, but help is rarely, if ever, needed. Tons of busy work, but you get a check mark (AKA an A) just for completing the assignment.

I spent a lot of time working on the assignments, but Mrs. Borst made the class flow and made it understandable and I saw how it related to real situations. I was dreading the project but in the end it was a very rewarding experience.

She teaches an introductory database class. All of the assignments are straight from the book. Just do the work and you will get a good grade. She is very nice and has a tendency to give you full credit when you hand in assignments late. She also works with students should any issue arise.

TEDIOUS but easy A and actually useful information. There is homework due every single class. The first half of the semester we would get out 45 minutes early every day. There's no textbook, just a free online resource which is nice. SUPER easy grader, just complete all of the assignments and you'll get an A.

This is an Easy A class. Theres a lot of book work. The take home quizzes are easy. Only had 1 test. The database work is easy since you're following the instructions from the book. The final exam is a project based in what you learned overall. Shes a true sweetheart and very helpful.

I loved Trudy! She is always willing to help if you are willing to complete your work. She ensures a positive environment for her students to work in. I am not tech savvy by any means, but she is ready to help whenever! Just do not take advantage of her, she will catch on...! She is a smart lady.

Trudy was the spunkiest professor I've ever had and I LOVED IT! Her energetic personality made learning Access interesting. The course work was not the easiest. However, Trudy gave more than enough time to submit work and was always willing to help if a student was stuck. She truly does care about making sure students succeed!

Very useful class, instructor makes it interesting. She involves the students thoughts and experiences. I liked the variety of work and lectures. I learned a lot now I just have to apply the will power to do! She also has a great sense of humor and is always upbeat. Would recommend this class.

What a sweetheart. She knows how mundane Office products can be sometimes, and she does her best to make it somewhat fun. During class time, she mostly leaves students alone so that they can complete that week's worth of work. She's always delighted to answer questions, and makes time to individually ask every student how they're performing.

Trudy is seriously my favorite professor at Ferris. She's easy going, and tries to really make sure you understand the material. Just make sure you have the book and you should do just fine, plus she is super helpful whenever you need it! She really knows what she's doing and gives full credit, even if you turn in late work.

The work in Testout can be tedious but the projects are more interesting. Trudy is great and very helpful. Advice is to stay on track and spend the time doing testout and the tests.

Probably the best class you can take for yourself. Very useful and insightful information for a good financial future. Classes are enjoyable and relaxed. I was talking to some of my family about some of the information and they were impressed and asked me questions regarding 401(k), IRA and Roth's etc., compounding interest and rule of 72!

This was my favorite class this semester. I really don't like computers and I asked a lot of questions, but she was always respectful and caring in her answers and help. It was a lot of work, especially the final project, but I feel so accomplished and proud of myself. I really like her teaching style and humor.

Professor Borst is a great teacher, she is always willing to help, but if you are doing well and ahead in the TestOut assignments your attendance is optional, but I usually still attended and I think that helped me to manage my time and get my assignments in. She demonstrates and goes over the Projects and that really helped me.

I wasn't looking forward to this class, but it ended up being my favorite. Loved Mrs. Borst's teaching style and she is so good at helping and explaining when you need help.

This was my favorite class this semester. Learned a lot about personal finance in an enjoyable way. Wasn't one size fits all, varied activities and subjects of personal finance. I will be using much of the information soon, as I graduate in May. Teacher was great! Recommend this class.

Trudy is a total sweetie! Her class is really useful, and she knows the subject matter well. The material is completely online and can be done on your own time, so she doesn't always enforce attendance. The only thing you need to watch out for is sometimes the grading criteria isn't clear, the rubric and the directions aren't always the same.

I didn't know anything about Access, but Mrs. Borst was so helpful. She gave you a chance to correct errors in your work so the next module could build on that one correctly. I just turned in my final, it isn't graded yet, but I feel really good and proud of it. I came a long way from not knowing anything about Access to being creating a database!

Really a great class, she makes it seem so easy but yet very good and useful information. Also, the class is fun and relaxed.

Trudy teaches you about databases in general and specifically we used and learned Microsoft Access to get a grasp of the database concept. She laid out clear assignments and instructions and give great help as needed. I am really enjoying the class and impressed with my progress.

This was a difficult class for me, especially since I had a lot of medical issues. I would have failed if Trudy wasn't so helpful in getting me caught up and understanding the material. I had no experience with Access and didn't really understand what a database was and wasn't so good with computers either.

Trudy is such a good professor. She is an easy grader. You do have some readings and study guides, but they are very easy to do. There are some tests, but they are worth the same or less than homework assignments and are very common sense tests. Very easy professor and the class is an easy A as long as you pay attention at the bare minimum.

She was very great and an easy grader. Class had a lot of homework but if you get it done you should get an A. Would definitely recommend taking her classes.

I liked how it wasn't just from the Textbook but included the everyday decisions and goals and priorities you need to make. How personal finance is 24/7. She stressed the "personal" part of personal finance. Need to gear it towards your goals. She adds humor to the class also.

She is a wonderful professor, 10/10 would recommend. She helps if you have any questions, along helps you to get points back on certain assignments if you did badly. She makes it her goal that everyone passes with a good grade. Love Trudy very much, and take her classes you will learn a lot.
