She is a great, caring teacher, that I highly recommend. She explains the material very well so you can understand. Her notes help you alot to review. And if you like working in groups, she does a lot of group work in class.

MRS. MEYERS is one of the BEST teachers at El Camino. I really enjoyed her class. She explains everything very clearly, she is also very patient and understanding. She is also a very leanent grader. Everyone else I know who took her class loved her.

Professor Meyer is a genius when it comes to figuring out the easiest way to solve a difficult math problem. She's very friendly and gives good advice for future math classes. This is one teacher you should not hesitate to take.

Trudy is one of the best math teachers @ El Camino, although her class is not easy. She collects the HW randomly, which forces you to do it. She is a nice person, but don't get on her bad side. She evaluates her students every three chapters. The first two chapters are in quizzes and the last chapter is in the exam along with the previous chapters

This is one hard class! She does not try to tell you any differently and she does not try to look like a genius by having everything worked out ahead of time. She is VERY available. Wish I had started going to her office sooner!

Professor Meyers is a very good teacher. She's very laid back. ALthough she's forgetful at times, she's very helpful. All the people complaining about her that are in math 70 are lower need a reality check. If you can't even pass basic math with Professor Meyers or with any professor than you're a true moron. Decent class. Although some of the topics she explains in class are hard to understand, she is more than willing to help you during office hours. Although rater below is bit harsh, if you can't pass basic math with a C or higher than college might be too hard for you.

This is a teacher who made me realize how much I enjoy math! Very good at what she does. Trudy is by far the best math teacher here...If you think you aren't good at math, she will show you a way that makes sense to you. I am not kidding.

Very good teacher. Her test are normal test but she gives students partial credit on the problem.Some math teachers will mark the whole problem wrong but not her she gives partial credit. highly recommend her for math

Took class in summer. She is faaaar better than teacher I had in fall (Avakyan). Highly recommend to students who hasn't taken a math class in years. Just always be on time, and you do great in class! She gave a [easy] quiz every day in the 1st 5 mins (don't be late!!!). Easy way to get a good grade!

Well, I guess it's a very fickle thing with this teacher. She is extremely helpful if you are willing to show the effort, she practically gives you what is on the test. But, she requires a lot of out-of-class time in order to have the fullest educational experience. Overall a very great teacher, and very understanding. Do not show up late.

VERY dedicated teacher. if you have trouble with math classes TAKE HER CLASS. she gives these "gateway" tests that will make you relearn the basics that you have messed up over the years so that you will do better all around in the class. requires a lot of work, but its WORTH IT. go to her during office hours for help, she's very receptive and cool

SO much fun, i loved this class. Math was fun for me for the first time! Her teaching methods rock, she is easy, and gives you plenty of chances to raise your grade. Homework can be made up and she is understanding. Just don't be late or turn your cell phone on, be respectful and she will totally have your back. A great teacher!

HER! Had an A+ in the class.....

Very patient and very nice! i had her early in the morning during winter and although the class was hard and i wasnt doing that great, she was very encouraging and helpful thoughout the semester! I didnt get a good grade but not because of her.i should have studied more. I HIGHLY recommend her!

If you took a math class prior to this take her class. Despite my shortcoming I learned a lot. She really went all out of her way to help us even welcoming us into her home.She was good about encouraging us to read ahead.She didn't grade more than 10-20 problems per section. But you had to be accurate or do additional ones.Timed tests:1 hour.

Trudy extremely helpful. gave me a strong foundation to continue with. I HATED math until now, i actually get it now. Works with educo. which givs you opportunity to correct homeworks for 100% scores on quizzes also. In class exams u are given opportunity to correct your missed problems for half credit. Highly recommend.

She has a unique style of teaching that attempts to bring abstract and concept based math theories into some semblance of practicality. She is not only knowledgeable but helpful to a fault. She will put as much effort in to teaching as the student does for learning. This is full contact education...no spoon feeding allowed!

SHE HAS A SPECIAL TYPE OF TEACHING BUT HER GROUP WORK HELPS PUT A LOT. SPECIALLY THE ACTIVITIES IN CLASS. YOU HAVE TO STAY ON TOP OF CLASSWORK BECAUSE IF YOU DONT YOU CAN EASILY FALLBACK BEHIND. AND ALWAYS GO TO SI SESSIONS THEY HELP YOU ALOT AND SOME QUESTIONS ARE IN THE EXAM PLUS SHE LETS YOU RETAKE THE EXAM 3 TIMES.

She is a very helpful teacher, make sure to read before going to lecture, it will help you. She did quite a bit to help our grades and brings a good attitude to the class. She is a bit forgetful sometimes, oh well :P

At the time when I took her 170 class I felt lost, but she really teaches you the most important aspects that help in future classes. She can go around in circles to explain something, but she is very willing to help. Because of her I was able to help my fellow student in 180 with Trig because of her. I actually learned.

At the beginning of class it was very difficult, a lot of other students complain about her teaching. But if you actually go to her office hours she will really help you out and she also gives great advice. We didn't have a textbook, she just gave us packets. The access code you will need to purchase. Attendance is a MUST! Great math prof.!

She is a really nice and caring teacher. Alot of the class time is spent working with other classmates, so this is good for someone who like doing group work. The homework is done online. So you need to purchase the a NEW book that has the online access code so you can do your homework. If you do not do your homework you will definitely fail.

If I had not passed it was my own fault. The professor actually reached out to her students. She offered to talk to me in my time of depression. She helped me get through my tough times. I never thought a professor with a warm heart existed. She is the reason why I passed math and all my other classes. I wish we had more professors that cared.

It's up to you if you want to pass Trudy makes sense and makes sure that you are understanding how she's explaining the material but it's up to you too speak up and say yes I do or no I don't understand and if you don't she would do anything possible to help any student

Trudy is alright to be honest. I wouldn't take again, but I wouldn't try and AVOID her. Encourages asking questions, gives out plenty of information via notes, encourages you to work with your class, even using a group chat remotely. The only problem I have is her use of the respondus browser. It slows my PC to a crawl and cripples me during tests.

Trudy is a sweetheart, she is really nice and easygoing but she does not know how to teach or anything about mathematics at all. She's retired now so nobody will read this review but I remember she would have to watch YouTube videos to find out how to teach a particular topic. She's really nice overall but kills your grade last minute with final.
