Professor Rivero has to be my favorite math teacher ever! Not only is his lectures not boring, but he explains everything as simple as possible. He lets you have notes and use your book for tests!!! TAKE HIM!! YOU CANNOT FAIL. AND IF YOU DO, i dont even know how that is possible....

Mr. Rivero is clearly passionate about math and follows through to make sure all of us in his class understand the material. I would highly recommend taking one or more f his classes.

He always responds to emails very quickly and is genuinely concerned about whether or not we are understanding the material. Take his class!

He's a good teacher. There are 5 tests but they are easy because it is open book. He gives you a worksheet and it is similar to the tests. The hw is online on MyMathLab. Easy A. He laughs a lot though.

He obviously loves math and has a great way of getting us interested in the material. Responds to emails very quickly and is always willing to go above and beyond to help us out.

Prof. Trymain really made math fun as you can see his passion through lectures. Honestly, I didn't show up to class all the time and still passed with an A+. For every unit test (4) and exams (2), he let you use a cheat sheet and gave you a practice test to study from which was basically a replica. Just do the work and study and you will pass.

Professor Rivero had to have been THE most interesting teacher I have ever had the pleasure of being lectured by. His energy was amazing, his teaching methods were on point, his way of grading assignments kept you on your feet. He made the class challenging without actually making YOU feel challenged. That takes skill.

Works somewhat fast but also explains whats being taught. Super easy going professor, definitely will make sure you understand whats going on. There is homework weekly but working on it as you go through the lessons with the class should keep it fresh in your mind.

He is legit one of the best professors I have ever had. His teaching is clear and makes the curriculum easy. He gives lots of example and at the end if the day, he lets you use a page of notes for tests so its really just an easy A.

Professor Rivera managed to make a Friday morning 3hr block enjoyable. I really enjoyed his class and would recommend as a structured and personable teacher. He puts a lot of effort into making class exciting. He gives test every few chapters but allows students to use a reference sheet which helps a lot. All homework is online. No quizzes.

Professor Rivero was amazing. He stayed the night of the final review after everyone left with another student and me. He really wanted us to understand the material. He explains everything really well. Homework can keep being taken until you get the grade you want. 4 tests and a final. Not difficult at all.

I've always been so bad at math and being honest with this professor it felt so easy. He explains in a way everyone understands. He doesn't gives extra credit but you have hw for every section and quizzes in which both you have infinite amount of times to complete also a page of notes for the test and 2 for the final.

This guy is great. I would suggest him to everyone. He is a bit everywhere (ADHD), but he provides clear understanding and can get through to anyone. The first think you'll notice is his hyperactive personality. He is quite funny and entertaining; the eccentric type who really loves mathematics. He even has a tattoo on his leg of a SUM symbol. I took him so that class would be fun, and that is what I got. Also, he is very careful to explain every part of the lecture in easy-to-understand terms.

i took stats online and was scared at first but this prof made it super easy! he provided really good videos explaining everything. We had homework & quizzes for every chapter and then a test covering 2 chapters. the test was always just like the quizzes and h.w, just different numbers. He also makes his h.w and quizzes unlimited amount of attempts

Great professor. I took this class online and it was not heavy in homework. You can pretty much go at your own pace. Only reason I received a B was because I waited until the last minute and rushed through the chapters. His videos discussing the chapter are very direct and helpful. You wont regret taking this class.

Honestly best teacher I've ever had! It's hard for me to understand certain materials and in his class I understood EVERYTHING! He explains everything so well and he drops the lowest test grades at the end of the semester so that helps out a lot! As long as you do all your homework and quizzes you'll pass the class.

Very straight forward online class. 3 tests in the testing center each worth 20%. hw and quizzes online with unlimited tries. Tests were similar to quizzes/hw. Sometimes moves too quickly tho The tests are structured *exactly* like the reviews, which he hands out at least a week in advance (& theyre available online all semester). I took the class flex(summer b). His lectures were thorough. Three tests throughout the whole term & 2 weeks to take them. The HW assignments have a help tab with step-by-step explanations for questions you get wrong that helped me out the MOST! The review for tests are also helpful. Youre allowed a scientific calculator & formula sheets at tests.

This professor is actually great! For each test, there is like 9 or 10 assignments that need to be done, they are on math lab, you can redo the assignment till you get a 100 on them, and you get unlimited tries. The homework is always available to do weeks in advance as well! He is good at teaching and lets you have a full page of notes on tests!

Trymain has been one of the best professor that I've had thus far. This class is an easy A as long as you actually pay attention. Trymain makes this class interesting, easy and super flexible. So its on you if your going to pass.

I'm not a math person, but I enjoyed this class and currently have 100%. Lectures are thorough and easy to follow. HW is via mystatlab w/ unlimited attempts to get 100%. Four exams plus a cumulative final worth 30% of your grade. Allows full front/back sheet of notes for each reg. exam, and two for the final. Great professor. Highly recommended!

Such a fun and great professor! I typically hate math classes but he made stats enjoyable and super easy to manage. He lets you use a blank sheet of paper for notes on the exams which is great. The exams are also just like the study guides. I highly recommend taking him!

The tests and homework is 100% based on textbooks. So, if you take good notes, you're going to do really well on tests. Homework also is not too long. He even has videos to clarify if you have questions. Great professor!

One of the best teachers i have had, i definitely recommend him for students who struggle understanding math because he is very good at explaining, and he is able to work with students around their schedules if needed. Recently, I prayed for the direction of choosing an instructor to teach this course of MATH 1106. My prayers were answered. Prof T, provided the formula sheets for you to print out for exam. The math assignment problems were the ones you would or will use in the REAL world. This will be my recommended professor!

Professor Rivero was honestly one of the best math professors I have ever taken. I am so glad I took College Math with him. This semester was most definitely not the best for me but his class was so simple and easy to understand that I did not stress about it once. Please do make sure to not procrastinate, break the chapters down daily.

While there will be a lot of assignments, the # of questions can range from 4-20 and it can usually be finished in less than an hour. One project you can do with a partner. He explains the math well.

Stats was very fun with him, don't show to class and it won't matter but he knows his students well and will less likely help you if you don't come in as often. Gives hw and tests.

He's the best math professor I've ever had. Please don't be afraid to ask him anything. He's very understanding and goes through everything step by step. He's also easy to take online (had to switch because of COVID-19) and it wasn't a terrible switch. Homework questions have unlimited attempts. The calculator is going to be your best friend too.

I took this class online due to COVD-19. It is a fast course so expect it to have lots of homework and spend lots of time watching it videos so you are able to dohomework. It was fairly easy and thats a lot to say from me i suck at math. Ended up with a 89% and with the EC i got a 90%.

Professor Rivero is honestly the best professor that you can take online. There is a lot of videos to watch and really well explained. The homwork, quizzes and test are the same just with different numbers which makes it really to do. He reminds you of deadlines. You also have more than enough time to go through every unit. I totally recommend him.

This instructor teaches amazingly well. If you don't know math, this guy's for you. This is a very easy "A" IF you watch his teaching videos and do your homework. For each test he has reviews so you're never surprised with anything. I'd choose this instructor again in a heartbeat.

. I was always terrible math no matter how hard i would study. This is first time that i have not only gotten A in math but actually know how to do the work. He not only explains by goes step by step explaining not just how but the why as well. He gives a review each exam that is nearly identical to his actual exams and allows 1 pages of notes.

I'm terrible at math, but surprisingly, I passed this class. I rate the online learning experience a 4, but as a professor, he is a 5. Although he works fast (my opinion btw), his stuff are easy and simple. Watch the videos, do the homework, practice quizzes (3 attempts each quiz), then the unit test. I'd love to have him again.

Great teacher. Makes the topic easier to digest by breaking it down into short videos and gives everyone the chance to go back and redo assignments towards the end of the semester. I only got a B because I got a little lazy the last two chapters. Would definitely recommend for a stats teacher

Homework isn't particularly heavy. However, it's important that you understand the work (especially for the proctored exams). There are three proctored exams and two that are not proctored, together with the homework and a quiz for each exam. Professor Rivero is open to finding solutions if you are borderline between two grades.

With online math classes, it's pretty straight-forward. Professor Rivero gave 3 due dates, so manage your time (or just sit down and do homework 3 times over the course of a semester). His test review videos are helpful! He seems funny though, since one of his test questions was about students eating anywhere from 12 to 58 Hot Pockets in a week!

Professor Rivero is very funny and helps you with anything you need. His tests are most of your final grade, but he explains the material well and if you do the homework you should be able to pass easily with an A. Do not put the homework last minute it is too much to do in one day!

This is the second time I took Professor Rivero. First for Algebra then statistics. I had to beg to get into his class because statistics filled up right away. He is THE MOST AMAZING teacher! I never thought I would be able to pass a statistics class but because of the professors videos and explanation. Take him. You WILL NOT regret it!

I took Professor Rivero Spring 2021 Online for Statistics. I'll get right to the point. 3 tests each test covers 2 chapters. Honorlock yes, but he allows you 1 cheat sheet. 1 quiz per chapter no honorlock needed for those. And 1 assignment per section using some code online. Basic simple to the point. Easiest math class ever. Highly recommend!

He was a good professor, clear with what he asked for. His lecture videos were short (1-5 minutes), concise, and I found him to be funny. Tests, in my opinion, were the easiest, quizzes tended to be harder.

Professor Rivero was the best math teacher I've ever had. Every section was perfectly condensed in his videos and you're given the exact examples and formulas you need to solve the problems. The homework is also exactly what you've learned and that carries over onto the quizzes/tests. As long as you do the work and take notes, you'll pass easily.

I won't say much but TAKE HIM, WRITE NOTES, DO THE HW, DO THE DISCUSSIONS. BEST TEACHER I HAVE TAKEN. HE HAS cool/funny/understandable LECTURES, SHORT HOMEWORKS, 4-5 QUIZZES AND 3 ATTEMPTS ON EACH ONE, 5 TESTS THAT HAVE NO MORE THAN 12 QUESTIONS, AND NO FINAL EXAM. Take him bruh, you won't regret it! Lol, I cant stress this enough.

Took the class online, the professor makes short videos that explain everything. Everything is on MathLab, there is one test for each of the five units. Classwork is done every three weeks. Professor is serious and doesn't take excuses, but the class doesn't require much effort and I was still learning with the videos. EASY class, no extra credit.

This teacher is the best, I truly enjoy math with him. You have 2 quizzes per chapter and 1 exam every 3 weeks. His class is easy, and very straightforward. You can get ahead in the class if you want. I took his class while having a full-time job and was very easy to keep up with assignments. No extra credit, no second chances.

I really enjoyed taking this class with this professor. You are given videos to watch and the homework has unlimited attempts. There are 5 quizzes and you have 3 attempts on each. There are 5 tests and no final. You can work ahead on the homework and quizzes which is great. Really recommend!

Prof Rivero's class was very straightforward and he gives explanations that are clearly understood along with each chapter. There were only three units each with two chapters and it was honestly one of the easier math classes I have probably ever taken. Would definitely recommend for those who struggle with math concepts and need clear explanations

He's a good teacher but everything is due at 11:59 am instead of pm. If you remember that you'll pass the class. It's on a third company website that answers could be found on google and have "Help Me With This Question". I ended up missing the deadline for a test and it dropped my grade. I passed with a 70 but it is an Easy A class.

I highly recommend this prof he explain to material well for everyone to understand. theres a handful of homework for each unit but DO NOT LEAVE IT FOR LAST MINUTE. its way too much to complete in one day. the hw is due every 2-3 weeks so if u do 1 hw assignment every 1-2 days u should be fine.3 out of the 5 test are proctored. he also curves grade

USES HONORLOCK. All homework assignments, quizzes, and tests are due at 11:59 AM twice a month. Fairly easy work, however tests are on honorlock which is annoying. Also do not fall behind on assignments.

I had the pleasure of taking Professor Riveros stats class. He teaches the course very well and as long as you watch the lectures you will do good in his class. I wish all my Math teachers were like this!

Take him!!! The semester is almost over and my grade is a 99%. The class has 5 Units, each with about 5-8 homework assignments, a quiz, and a test. 3 out of 5 tests are proctored using honorlock, but even then he will let you use a full page of notes! Homework has unlimited attempts, quizzes have 3 attempts and tests have 1 attempt and are timed.

One of the best online professors I've had. His class was very structures and built upon five units. I would recommend this teacher to anyone who dislikes (or likes) math.

Highly recommend him. The class structure is easy to follow. He gives you 2-3 weeks to complete the hw, discussion, & quiz per 2-3 chapters. They are no more than 12 questions. Exams are based on the hw/quiz, and yes, he does utilize honorlock for the exam. But you'll be fine. 1 handwritten notes allowed :)

Great lectures, I took the hybrid course on summer term B, and I'm not a math person and I passed with a B+! I would have gotten an A but unfortunately I got a little overwhelmed at the end of the summer term with other courses I was taking plus I am a new mom and I got some lower scores on the tests; However, Professor and course are AMAZING!

took this professor for liberal arts 1. asked him towards the end of the semester to boost my grade so i could get a B, and he did it. tests and homework were through pearson, and only the tests were proctored by honorlock. other than that, he was very easy going. he also gives three weeks to do homework and tests.

Lectures are easy to understand and interactive. He also grades test in like 2min after you hand it to him and hes kinda goofy.

Professor Rivero was great! Lectures are explained clearly, and he takes his time to break things down into the most understandable terms! Study guides are provided and reviewed to help with exams as well. I would 100% recommend this professor.

Mr. Rivero's class was the first math class I can say I enjoyed. He has an energetic demeanor and seems to love what he teaches. His lectures explain everything very clearly and he happily answers questions. If I had him as a teacher for all of my math classes, math would be my major.

Im scared and not good at algebra, geometry and math family. This liberal arts math class was different, professor Trymain made it so easy for me to understand, with easy examples and HomeWork. I would have selected him prior if would have known. I do recommend this professor strongly. Also, he gives you enough time to submit homework.

Whatever you do TAKE THIS PROFFESSOR!! I really dislike math and he made it so easy(too easy) he literally breaks down everything honestly if you don not get an A or B you probably did not put in the work he makes it extremely easy for you to stay with an A.

He is a fantastic professor. Taking math with him was easy and understandable, and I am not a math person, but I understood every process perfectly in his class. He is goofy and always has great energy explaining with suitable examples. He gives a lot of homework but they are easy and help you to understand more the topic! TAKE HIM, HE IS AMAZING!

If you are not a math person, take him. He makes it so easy to understand and follow along. In person, he is funny and very attentive. Online videos available in case you need to review. Homework is easy and there are 3 test in total (they account for the majority of your grade). I honestly have learned so much from this man. 10/10.

I never passed math in my life. When I took this class, I got an A+. This professor is definitely a must take! The reviews of tests are exactly what comes for the test and he gives extra credit on the test as well. He's an easy going person, never had any issues with him. Has a bubbly personality and makes this class a breeze. The best!

He utilizes pearson, there were mostly 3 assignments a week. He is funny and kind and helpful even on the exam. The Review paper is literally like the test. Write all the questions down on the provided sheet/ packet he provided and allows the use of. Its very hard not to pass this class, just put in the needed effort (not much) and you can pass :)

Best professor I have had. He wants everyone to do well. I haven't taken math in years and I'm not a math person! He made it so EASY. The review before the test is basically the test. There are 3 exams worth 20% of your grade ea. & homework (unlimited attempts) and few quizzes. If you are looking for a good professor, its him! SIGN UP NOW!!!

AMAZING professor, he's truly the nicest professor i've ever had. He gets things done in class and you will leave each class sure of what the chapter is on. He will answer each and everyone of your doubts, and the hw is due the day of the test , so you get a LOT of time to get it done

Professor Rivero is an amazing professor. Unlimited attempts for homework's, 3 attempts for quizzes, & gives great feedback if necessary. What you do for homework is 99.9% the same thing you'll see on quizzes & exams with different numbers. Very straight forward & no nonsense. Syllabus clearly conveys expectations for the course & he sticks to it.

I was nervous for this class but he made everything so easy. Unlimited attempts for the homeworks, 4 discussion posts based on the chapters, 3 attempts for each quizz and 3 proctored tests. If you have questions, don't hesitate to ask him but I don't think you'll need to because the material is easy to learn. Take him! He's great.

Professor Rivero provides clear assignments with multiple attempts, promoting stress-free learning. However, the high volume (15-20 questions each) and inflexible deadlines can be overwhelming for working students. Despite this, he's a supportive educator. To improve, I suggest adjusting assignment frequency/length and offering flexible deadlines.

Took this class in three months and didn't know what to expect but super helpful in teaching and explaining. Honestly felt like a chill high school math class. For each module every assignment is basically watching videos and answering questions, super helpful and easy to understand. Easy class

What an incredible professor! I'm not great at math, but he explained everything at a perfect pace. I got a question wrong on the exam, and when I asked for help, he patiently walked me through everything I struggled with. Attendance isn't mandatory, so I didn't feel bad missing class while sick.

Professor Rivero makes this math class a breeze! He's super engaging and breaks down concepts clearly. Unlimited homework tries and review sessions before tests are game-changers. Paired with Unstuckstudy, I aced this course.

He gives you exactly what you need for each unit, wouldn't recommend taking first thing in the morning though as he had a little more energy than everyone. The homework assignments give you unlimited tries but can be so time consuming so I say start them right away or you'll find yourself doing them for hours. Super chill guy with some silly jokes.

He's a great professor. I took him in MGF1130 & MAC1140. I like the way he explains math, he makes it easier to understand with different exercises. You have to pay a code to do the homework/quizzes that are a lot, but will help you to understand more the chapters. He also permit having a paper for the test. A silly professor with a lot of energy!

Super easy work, you have homework, quizes, and tests all on the same week every 2 weeks so it isn't time consuming at all. Super nice guy also

So this professor is super easy. On first day he will say that he will not open any late assignments but trust me he will if you request him. Attendance is not even mandatory. Out of 15 class meetings I went to only 3 and still passed the class. For in person classes he still posts his videos online. He is the easiest professor I have come across.

Great professor. Helps you out anytime you need his help. He is very easy going. You wont regret taking his class.

Professor Rivero overall was a good professor. He will give you 3 weeks to complete around 6-7 HW, quiz, & test. The tests honor lock proctored. He will put videos up to explain the work but his explanations aren't the best. It was kind of hard for me to learn with him. But, he gives you extra credit and answers fast. Lenient&nice.

This class is simple if you buy the access code early. I took it online. As long as you do the assignments you will pass -this is coming from someone who is awful at math but got an A. You can try the homework unlimited times for a better grade. Professor responds quickly and allows accommodations like using scratch paper and pencil for test.

Fall 2024. Funny and teaches well. He gives out homework but gives you about 2-3 weeks to finish it. 3 big tests that make the grade. GO TO CLASS because lectures have good info you'll want to remember homework and tests give you a sheet of paper to use as a cheat sheet for tests Good feedback is there to help if you have any questions or doubts.

Bro, I finished the whole semester in a day.. It's That Easy! You can just take the class if you want an A+ cause that's basically what you paid for. you literally can do the 15-day trial for pearson and just complete the class within that; save yourself some money.

I would absolutely recommend this course from this professor to any friend. He truly cares about his students and goes out of his way to make sure everyone understands the material.He's patient, respectful, and genuinely wants his students to succeed. I would take his class 20 times over with him as my professor.

Three major proctored exams but you can use a one pager. He responds within minutes. He's not the best explaining but is not a hard class if you put effort. He gives you a fair time to complete everything. Very easy class I would take him again without a doubt.

Although he uses honorlock, there is nothing to worry about. Class structured so that everything learned is almost exactly like the exam. Allowed a front/back page of notes in case you need extra help understanding the info. Plenty of time to complete assignments and Professor Rivero gives constant reminders. Videos genuinely helped. Great class.

Professor Rivero is literally the GOAT, he is very understanding that you have a life outside of being in school, he responds to emails fast, and he allows you to work ahead on assignments. Honorlock is a requirement for exams only but if you study you'll be good. Take him you WONT regret it, very chill class and he gives extra credit.

This was such a great class. I am terrible at math and for the first time ever I received a 92% in a math course. He is also very kind and is adamant on letting him know of any issues inside and out of the class. He wants to be that kind of teacher and guide he would have hoped for when he struggled. 10/10.

Took this course online and he was a good teacher. Just watch the videos and take notes and you should be good. I divided my hw by weeks since I work full time. I did about 3 assignments a week to not feel overloaded. Super easy and you can redo hw until you get a good score. I would definitely take this class again with him

If there was a book on the most relaxed professor, Professor R's name would be in there! This guy was nothing short of amazing! He was very accessible outside of class, and when I needed extra help he pulled me for zoom! He's great I wouldn't suggest anyone else tbh. You can tell when someone loves what they do, and he shows it! Watch the lectures!

This professor is amazing!!!!!!! He gives you plenty of time to complete assignments and learn at your own pace. His explanation videos are super clear, and even though I've always struggled with math, he made it feel easy. I ended up getting an A in the class. Definitely one of the best professors I've had.

I took him for Fall 25. I love him, actually! He covers all topics in class, and taking notes was super easy. 3 Unit Test, so no Final or Midterms. He reviews the test questions and lets us with a page of notes to use during the test (front and back). He talks a lot and always has a positive attitude. HW will always be on ALEKS.

Absolutely amazing professor!! Easy to understand work, informative lectures, easy homework, and he even lets you take a note sheet for the big tests! This class was a breeze while still being educational. Highly recommend for anyone taking a math class!

Prof.Trymain was great! super awesome. Clear teaching criteria. Answered my emails asap and ws very flexible when i had technical difficulties. Assignments close after due date but if needed he will re-open. He is great, would recommend.

Just want to say , I'd take it again in less than a heart beat. He breaks down every lecture into baby steps so we could all understand and if you don't them you can ask. Everything is posted, he lets you do 1 full page back and front for each exam (3) All quizzes and homework are done online. TAKE HIM!!!! I repeat TAKE HIM!!!!!! He's funny too

This is the best math professor I have ever had. I've always struggled in math and this class helped me understand it better. The material was easy to understand and the lectures were 2-5min videos. But there is Honorlock on the tests. Besides that it's good a class. I definitely recommend taking him.
