He is a geat teacher. I was not very interested in Govt, but I liked his class. I had him for a flex class, so we did a lot of work per week but it wasn't anything stressful. His popquizes are easy if you listen to his letures.

He is a great professor and very understanding. It was a hard class for me because i don't know anything about Gov. but he changed that. So far i have an A, he gave us the study guide for Final which is the same thing as the final. Just do it and you will get an A. I wish he taught Sociology too :/

If you hate writing take him! All the other government teachers have essay questions on their tests. You write one term paper on your topic of choice. 3 tests all multiple choice but you need to study. I didn't study for anything but he always assigned extra assignments to boost your test grade. He's nice and very understanding. I got a B

I dropped my original politics class and by chance (luck) got into this one. He?s much easier than most political science professor. He explains well in/before/ after class, but don?t expect help outside of class.

I went to every class and got an A. He puts the notes online and the homework is easy. You would have to be a fool not get an A in his class. he gives you a chance to makeup hw you missed at the end of the semester. He is a great professor and hes easy on the eyes. Take this class! If you want to actually learn and get an A then take Professor Branz. He is HILARIOUS and really nice. He's pretty lenient on most things and is easy to talk to. He is super easy! If you have him for U.S. Government, he has a lot of homework, but, it is SUPER easy!! and it counts as much as one test grade by the end of the semester. He also has test reviews a day before the exam and goes over EVERYTHING that will be on the test.

Great teacher!! Keep up with the vocabulary and take notes during lectures and you'll pass with flying colors. Print a syllabus with the schedule and make sure you know what vocabulary chapter is due next! Lecture powerpoints on the website so you can look at home. Test reviews explain everything on tests the day before. Easy class, great teacher!

Pretty cute and young. There are only 2 tests, midterm and final. The hw is vocab and that counts as 1 test grade. No quizzes. One term paper, you get to choose your topic. He likes to ramble on and makes jokes to himself. It's kinda funny and awkward cause no one laughs. Definitely take his class

Tyler Branz is a pretty good teacher, hard to pay attention to because he is somewhat boring. I received an A in his class. No notes on midterm or final, only two test. Also the homework counts as one test grade. There are three papers and a term paper. Take his class if you have a good attention span!

You will learn US Government, should gain interest for the subject, be explained everything thoroughly, and overall enjoy Mr. Branz's class! He is a little awkward and not too friendly, but he knows his subject well. To get an 'A': complete the essays, complete the homework, study his exam reviews, attend class, and briefly read the textbook.

I did not know anything about US Government and I can truly say Professor Branz taught me so much about federalism, senate and etc. Quizzes are only easy if you study but he explains everything so well that even if you do not want to read a book but listen during the class you will pass. He is an amazing teacher. Homework is simple, he tries to keep everything simple. You only have one essay to complete. The hardest part of his class is the exams. He requires you to complete 30 multiple-choice questions and 6 essay question. Most of his grade is based on the test, so if you hating test grades avoid this class.

TAKE HIM! His paper is only worth 20 point, and it only has to be two pages. He has 4 tests6 and they're easy. All you have to do is memorize and study his power points and you'll get an A on the tests.

This is by far the best proffessor I have ever had, I took the summer class for 6 weeks and even though it was at a fast pace. He made government easy to understand! Work wise: 3 "exams" 20 questions with 3 extended response but you chose from 7 choices. he bases exam ext rsp questions off of study guide. 3 papers, but they are quick and easy!

He's a really good professor, i would definitely take him if i were you. i'm really picky about my professors and i'm glad i took him. He's really nice, responds to my emails quick, and he's just so cute. He tries to make little jokes here and there and they're actually funny. There are 3 tests; Exam 1, Exam 2, and the final and there's one paper.

Only 3 tests, and they're super easy. It's multiple choice except three long response questions, but they're basically taken from the weekly study guides and you get to choose the three questions out of five options. I'm not that interested in US Gov, but he's pretty cute and funny so I show up to class anyway :P

Professor Branz is a one-of-a-kind professor. He makes government interesting by putting his own twists on lectures, as well as using examples from our current government to teach material. The lectures may seem long, but they are the key in acing the class. The book helps for further explanation, but you do not need it. He is a great (cute) guy.

This class is the same format as his other classes. Three test, three essays, and a few questions due every week on blackboard. The only difference is that these test are only free response essay type questions, no multiple choice. Regardless, it wasn't difficult and the class was very interesting. Great Professor.

Just took him for State/Local Gov. and he is one of the best. 3 essays in total, make sure to do research and follow guideline. 3 tests total that consists 3-4 chapters per test. As long as you read the book and attend class, which he explains the topics much clearer, youll do fine. There is also weekly assignment of 4 to 6 questions. Do take him!

Took back in spring of 2016 Pretty solid professor. Read the chapters remember the key points and you will do good on the exams. Hw every week. His lectures are interesting and he has a lil sense of humor. Btw i think Jay Cutler from the Chicago Bears is his long lost twin. I forgot to tell him that last semester.

Professor Branz is a very laid back professor. I really admire his engaging teaching style. The study guides help to understand the chapters and come to class prepared to ask questions. Also, he really wants us to succeed and learn not only in class, but for life. I am taking him again next semester, so definitely I recommend him.

As long as you actually read the chapters and put thought into your responses this is an easy class! He replies to emails pretty quickly when you have questions and is pretty down to earth. Make sure you know how to properly cite in MLA format before doing any of your responses because he will take credit off.

I took international politics online with this professor. The class was not hard, but there was a good amount of homework and reading. The professor is good at answering any questions and provides helpful powerpoints. Make sure you have MLA citation down for this class and get ready to write.

Great professor. I had a lot of medical challenges this semester and he assisted me through all of them. Very caring Professor and wants to make sure you succeed! He has some discussions and journals to do that require MLA and he assisted me in how to do MLA. I am a older student that used APA in all my studies. He was a great help! Easy class!

Be ready to read the book cover to cover! You will need it to pass the tests, which were not difficult at all if you read the chapters. Writing is to MLA format in discussion style work instead of long papers which was nice. Class to me was laid out very well and not rushed at all. Great professor for an online one.

Prof. Branz, is a really simple teacher. Just make sure to do the study guides cause those are worth 20% of the grade and he checks for completion. PARTICIPATE in class. Study those notes and maybe a little study group before class should help you pass those tests. Don't undermine the test. The course is easy if you make it easy for yourself.

This was an online class so I never actually got to meet him. His class consisted of study guides (guaranteed A) and either a discussion or written response assignment while also watching a video each week. If you just do the work you should get an A. There are 3 tests but they are fairly simple. He seems very nice and I would take him again.

He's an easy A, but his class is pretty boring. He's a very straight forward teacher, he just lectures the whole time and reads from the slides. He usually lets class out early every day. The study guides are so simple and so are the tests. It is impossible not to get a A or do well in this class. If this matters, he is fairly good looking.

I took Professor Branz for INR 2002 online and he was by far one of the best professors I've had at Valencia. There's weekly study guide questions and either a journal entry or discusion board, all easy and answers are in the textbook. 3 test and you get two attempts, just do the work and you'll pass! Also make sure you cite your sources !

Professor Branz was great! If you do the work, THE RIGHT WAY, then you will get an A. I just took the final and I'm ending his class with a 102%, I got a lot of extra credit because my responses where appropriate and college level. Although, if you can't get an A in his class you should rethink your work and study ethic. You need the book to pass.

BEST PROFESSOR. only 3 tests and study guides for each chapter (Really easy) . the lectures are not that long, but he makes them fun. All you have to do is sit and listen. Took him for politics... he's super obsessed with John Green for some reason. he makes awkward jokes but its kinda cute. good professor, good content, if you read the book you pass. 5% attendance grade. Tests are worth 60%. about 5 long reflections that aren't worth a lot of points. Study guides due every week but they're short.

Great class to online. Branz relies heavily on the textbook for students to make outlines for tests. The course isn't laid out the best but you can manage. He doesn't ever send out reminders on what to do for each week so that is on you to look for. Other than that I recommend taking him for an easy A, just complete the work.

I love this guy as an educator, he really knows what he's talking about and he's more than happy to answer questions in depth. Pretty much you write your own detailed notes based on the chapter before every week and he lectures you on the chapter to add to your notes. 3 exams based off the textbook and notes. Do well on the tests and you'll pass.

If you need to fulfill your social science req take this class with Branz. I took the 10 wk course and you have to do a study guide (due Wed) and a journal or discussion (due Fri) every week. It's an Easy A. Only 3 test the whole semester which are very easy with 2 attempts & no final. you need the book i rented it on amazon for $30ish

You don't "need" to show up to class but his lectures are probably one of the best. And his powerpoints are so much better than the textbook but he likes feedback and questions so read the chapter and take notes. Chill guy. Gives easy tests (nothing out of the scope of book). I took this class for the summer (Term A ), the class was 6 weeks long, so the work was a bit hefty; 4 assignments a week, but he was an easy grader, so you were guaranteed an A in the study guides and journals and there were a lot of extra credit opportunities 10/10 would recommend! TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!!!!

His class is easy. There are 10 study guides ( an outine based on a chapter assigned in the textbook). There are 14 modules and every module week there a different activity such as a quizz ( based on resources he give us), a dicussion or a journal entry ( required to have proper MLA citations.) There 3 exams with 40 questions with 75 minute allow.

Professor Branz is a cool guy and gives lectures that are mostly "serious" and informative but he also has a sense of humor and often jokes around. Exams aren't too difficult as long as you study. His "study guides" are somewhat of a pain in the a** but they are there to help you ahead of the exams.

I recommend International Politics the course because it makes you think outside of just American history and learn about how different countries interact. I recommend Professor Branz because he assigns a reasonable amount of work and as long as you complete the assignments, you will get a good grade. He is a very chill professor, just do the work.

It was a really nice class, study guides due every week and the tests are easy if you study (not proctored). My only issue was that their was an essay due every week which was really tiring but made it through. Most of the essays were easy and simple so don't worry too much. Also get ready to read a lot for the study guides.

Surprisingly, it was an extremely interesting class for me, however, you need to take time and energy in this class. Three multiple choice exams (75 minutes, 40 questions, not proctored, 2 attempts!), discussion boards, study guides, and essays (1-4 pages long almost every week). Essays were very time-consuming, yet most topics were interesting.

Professor Branz is a very chill dude. his class is very lectured heavily with his powerpoints which are quite informative. Overall his class was very easy but he had quite of bit assignments which are a bit annoying but overall easy to do just you got to put the time into it. I would give him a 7/10. He assigns study guides due each week, so you'll have to read the textbook a lot. Most of the answers can be found online tho. Only one essay, and 4 or 5 quizzes in the course. He does offer extra credit, and will automatically bump your grade. No honor lock or proctored exams thankfully.

Branz was a good professor. Weekly assignments, but prepare yourself to spend time reading and typing notes on every chapter - very time consuming. Two chances at quizzes and tests (not proctored and encourages use of notes), and a plethora of extra credit. No way to fail his class, great communication through canvas.

I took this online as a Dual Enrollment student and it's mostly just notes(tedious but doable)due Wednesday and a small paper or short quiz questions due Friday each week. It's easy if you have good time management skills and a good work ethic. Tests are open notes and timed; Flash cards definitely help!

This professor is great! He has 1 to 2 assignments due per week. You have unlimited attempts on quizzes and 2 attempts during exams. The other assignments were you had to analyze court cases which is fairly easy as he provides the needed resources. He also grades very fair.

Class is fairly easy, 2 assignments a week. As you get deeper into the semester there are 4 papers one every other week 5 pages long, he grades them very easy I would start Sunday and have it in by 11:59 and get an A. The only reason I got a B was because I missed the final, easy A just do the work.

MUST READ BEFORE TAKING! this is super easy, 1 case brief a week, its just simple copy pasting and takes 2 mins for an easy 100%. Im convinced the professor doesnt even read your submmissions and grades them on completion. Tests and quizes have unlimited attempts. And research papers are super easy, dont worry about formatting, hes super lenient.

Mr. Branz is a good professor, I took his U.S. Government class. He teaches in a practical way that you can understand with real-life examples, you have to read and write a lot but nothing too bad. However, you "have" to buy a book but you can find anything realted to the class for free, and I would've liked more feedback from him.
