very clear and straight forward; very cute but stern with class which is good
He returns papers whenever he feels like it. You might be waiting a week to get a test paper back. He also puts twenty questions on a test and you take about 5 tests and that's what your grade consists of besides a few unexpected 3 question quizzes.
He's a basketball coach so he teaches his academic students as if they were basketball players. Forget about going over tests after you take them and don't expect them back for at least a week. If he's got a game or practice, don't expect his help.
This teacher stinks. He doesn't appear to care whether students pass or not. He doesn't seem to have enough time for his students, unless you're an athlete.
Works with students. If you go to his office his is really helpful. Most people thinks he is mean, but he very helpful.
Any teacher who tells you they don't have time to answer your questions is worthless. That sums this guy up in one word. Maybe if you're a jock, or maybe it depends upon how your perceptions are coloured, you might get some help. Don't depend upon it.
He is a horrible teacher and person. He is always making some sort of a joke that his students must be on drugs and that's why they aren't doing as well as they should.

Clear in explinations
He never gave the class his full attention and he didn't show enthusiasm
I felt like I was out there clueless for most of the session. I was also not impressed with his response time on questions.
Gives tests that are entirely impossible to complete, on material not completely covered in class. Doesn't always know his stuff and yet expects us to know it.
horrible, horrible, horrible. If I wanted to teach myself I would not have paid for this class, infortunately my gpa is hinged upon this class. how can someone so unprepared and unknowledgeable be given a professorship???
He should not be allowed to teach. He is more concerned with basketball. He taught right out of the book. What a waste of time and money. He doesn't introduce any new material or try a different approach towards a problem. He is not flexible either.
Should be more careful about sitting in the restaurant at Tyrone Mall with his man friend, talking about his students. Never know when the spouse or parents of one of them is sitting in the booth behind them.(Him) Worthless teacher.
He has to be the WORST prof ever. When paying for an education I expect them to teach and offer some assistance. He offers neither. Forget about being courteous and helpfull. Although working hard to pass, I was not prepared for college algebra.
As finals approach, it is discouraging to go to a class where 2 out of 3 examples the professor is unable to successfully complete. Is there an F-CAT for teachers?
Clinton was an awful, forgetful, and just plain poor quality professor. Ebonics aside, he has no positive energy, he looks and acts like he absolutly hates his job. Don't take him if you need to learn anything, because you won't in his class!
clinton needs to stick to what he knows, basketball, cause it's not math. His class is good only for basketball players, seeing how they get special attention from him, and never have to take the impossible tests with the rest of the class.
I took him twice and the first time he was okay, pre algebra type of a class then I took him for pre calc and he didn't know anything. We had to show him how to solve the porblems. It was horrible! I did better by 4 letter grades in applied calc!
terrible teacher...his voice puts you to sleep...his tests dont cover anything he reviews...terrible class, avoid at all costs
I actually liked Mr.Clinton. He did not tolerate slackers. He told you what you need to do and you were expected to do your work, if you wanted a good grade. He is pretty okay to me.
please dont take this fool. horrible teacher
Horrible teacher ever has no idea what he is talking about he should be the one learning it
Terrible teacher I got out fast!!!
He was horrible, never showed any kind of emotion not even a smile. Walked in right when clas was suppose to start then went right to work. Taught everything the hard way.
Clinton is ok, he just doesn't play in class. he wants you to work for it. he is cool with grading too, but you must be on your feet. take him if you don't mind prof's that don't have jokes!
he is a hard teacher. He teaches everything the hard way and he doesn't help if you don't understand something. His tests are completely off from what he does in class. And if you have a question and ask it he gets so confused it's like he doesn't know what is going on or what he is teaching.
HE IS EMPATHIC TO PROBLEMS YOU MAY BE HAVING IN THE CLASS AND DOESN'T CARE IF YOU PASS OR NOT
mr clinton is a cool teacher he just doesnt play if u like actually learning in the class then take him
ATROCIOUS Proffesor!!! If you feel you are able to do math begore this class;you will recive a punch to the gut after completing this course. Clinton is a horrible teacher who had to have recieved his teaching deploma from a Sears catalog. 1+1= 2 bad 2 take!
Hes not a good teacher, he may be a good basketball coach, but not a math teacher. He sucks as a teacher.
I found Clinton to be a good taecher. It depands on a student whether you want to know or you don't. If you listen and do the homework - Clinton is a good teacher.
He is a very tough instructor, but if you are willing to work hard and buckle down you will go far in his class.
He is very intense. He knows what he is talking about, but expects way too much out of his students. I mean out of all of the students in this world, how many do you think want to major in math? Seriously we just want the grade.. we're going to forget it in a month anyway! You have to work for an A
Loves the sound of his voice. Knows what he is talking about. Doesn't collect hw. Test sometimes arent relevant to the reviews given. Does group work that helps. In my class, lots dropped him. Then about 70% left are failing. You choose.
Hard teacher. Purposly makes the test extra hard so you can not pass even if you understand the lesson you wont pass the tests. Not recommended.
eh no. He made me hate math more than I already do. I was so confused, he had no sense of humor and kinda made you feel stupid. I had a class of 24 in the start of the semester. I hung in till the last week of the class with 7 others. yes 7. So you tell me Ithink he is a waste of money and 3 credits
A big jerk when it come to helping
In his class it's a 50/50 shot. You will have to do your part plus some in order to succeed in his class. Nothing is a given here. If you are not willing to put forth the effort then he is defintely not the teacher for you. He is fair, but very serious.
He is not an easy teacher at all but as long as you pay attention and do your work you shouldn't have a problem. He's definately not a morning person and is quite serious. But not a bad teacher at all.
Mr. Clinton (aka "TC") is an excellent instructor. His philosophy is straight forward, if you don't do the work and make an honest effort you won't get a good grade. If you do show that you care, you grade will reflect that. Take his class, he is very understandable, and he cares for you!
Very hard, Tests are seriously hard. Tries to trick you on tests, not good. Not personable, don't expect a smile. Teaches directly , i mean directly out of book and is not prepared for class. I relearned everything at learning center and had a very tough time.
Very good professor. He's got a flat attitude, hardly ever smiles but is very fair if he sees you've dedicated time and effort to learn. He never picks homework but that doesn't mean you don't have to do it. If you want a good grade...practice and do the homework, he'll help you with the rest.
Very good teacher. I recommend this class if you really want to learn the material. You have to have a complete understanding or you won't pass. I think he's great and I take him whenever I get the chance. I'm majoring in math and it's important to know what I'm doing. His tests are hard, but if you study hard and do all the homework you will pass.
Don't rely on this guy alone to teach you. You definitely have to read the book and ask for outside help. He doesn't really explain how to work out the problem, he just goes through the problem and expects us to get it. He has no enthusiasm for the subject, I don't think he likes what he's doing. Don't take him if you need to work easy.
better embrace the learning support center, Clinton's class isn't impossible but his cold nature will make you want to avoid him. You'll need the tutors to succeed if you ain't math oriented.
I really understood the way he explained things. He would not be good for everyone but if you have questions you can always ask him
I liked this teacher alot. I took him for intermediate algebra and college algebra. If you want to make an A in his class you have to do the work and sort of know what you are doing before you do it. I liked math, so it was easy for me, but I had to tutor a kid that sat next to me. Overall... good!
Was very unclear in his explanations. Usually had to rethink what he was writing on the board to make sure he wasn't wrong...he did this often. He also gave back test super late...don't expect your grade the class after you took the test, maybe even later. Didn't show any interest in the students unless they were jocks. He's the basketball coach.
This teacher sucks more than any professor I've ever had, and I'm a 4.00 Phi Theta Kappa student and I'm almost done with my schooling. Run from him.
He's the worst instructor I've ever had. You are no good to him unless your a jock. He's the basketball coach...so, unless you play sports, don't take him. Plus, you will wait forever to receive your tests back from him and he doesn't go over the things you got wrong on the tests.
TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!~!!!!DO NOT TAKE!
He was very unhelpful, displayed a rude attitude most times, seemed uninterested in the subject, would confuse himself and tell us not to worry about it, but then it would be on the test.

Terrible, terrible, terrible! This teacher does not Teach! He expects you to know everything automatically. Very unclear, very unhelpful.
he is an OK teacher, gives back everything on time, explains things well, give notes and lectures good and doesnt "rush" into next sections, I would recommend him to anyone
He's the worst teacher I've ever had. He's unprepared for class and often times is unable to work the problems correctly. Twice he's issued tests and some of the problems were unsolvable. How frustrating that is when you spend 15 minutes on a test question that cannot be solved, more than likely the student will receive a much lower score than expe
Great teacher; will get straight to the point without any frills; is very clear at explaining; students sometimes don't take advantage of his office hours; he will work with you and clarify
Was very helpful after I talked with him in his office; He may appear as mean at times at class, but I think it comes from him being frustrated. I learned alot and would recommend him; HE DOES NOT COME TO PLAY, HE COMES TO TEACH SO DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!
This guy is a joke. My class was an hour and fifthteen minutes long and he only worked two problems and every time the answer was wrong. This **** spent more time looking for his mistakes then he did teaching. His class was a waste of my time and money. I am a straight a student and got a B in his class b/c he said I missed adaywhichwas notrue
Mr. Clinton is a good teacher this is my first year and he is very good but strict!
Horrible! spent more time talking about how cheap his tie was than actually teaching the class. He would tell us he would get back to us on something and would never get back to us and get upset when someone asked him about it again. Taught us how to play cames on our expensive calculators. The highest grade in the class was a C. Awful!
Do not take this teacher. Class is hard because he teaches the material wrong.
he is good you just have to make sure you study
Professor Clinton is one of the worst teachers I've had and I'm just about done. He doesn't care to help unless you're a jock and doesn't turn your tests back over to you for several classes after it's taken. Constantly messes up and doesn't know the answers to his own problems he's trying to work out on the board. I wonder who gave him his degree?
I dont even know where to start. This is one of the worst professors I've had in my life. He graded tests terribly and when you come to talk to him about it the only thing he says is "that's how I grade" He dosen't care how you do in the class. I really dont know who gave him that job.
He thinks he knows more than he does, he assumes that he is smarter than you. He teaches umpteen different classes plus coaches B-ball & his lack of preparation shows. Lazy. Terrible communication skills. If you approach him with any issue, he assumes that he is right and you are wrong. [You've been warned.]
This was one of the most difficult classes I have taken. First, the material is difficult, but also he does not know how to teach it correctly--he makes frequent mistakes, but expects us to get it right. His tests are horrible--not enough time in a 1 hr class. He subbed for my 1033 class once and I thought he was good--wrong!
he should not teach anywhere anyone at any time.
he is very stern, but he knows what he is doing/ Most of thestudents that I sat next to didnt even do their hw and had a complaint. Teaches well , but needs to slack up a little
This teacher was very good in class at breaking down the material and explaining it. One of the ratings by a student on this site needs to be disregarded. I know he didnt do homework. HE TOLD ME -- and he's wondering why he didnt do well.
Great teacher; students don't take advantage of his office hours; he will work with you and clarify. DO YOUR HOMEWORK
yes he is strict but he knows what he is doing and makes sure you do, too. he does seem frustrated at times, but is willing to help valid problems.
Professor Clinton knows his trig backwards and forwards and could probably work it in his sleep. However, he teaches it differently than the assigned text does, and it is SO CONFUSING! On the first test, I got all but one answer right and still had a D because he took off all these crazy points. MAKE SURE YOU LABEL EVERY AXIS AND EVERY TICK MARK!!!
He knows his stuff, however if he knows that you are failing his class, and you are still attending, he will look at you without saying it, "Dummy what are you still doing here." At this point you get scared to ask him questions. I dont want a teacher like that.
I would recommend this teacher for mature students. Clinton is straight forward and teaches in very clear manner. Doesn't small talk and is strictly business. If you pay attention, take notes and do your homework you should do well. Cell phones are a no no and punctuality is expected. If you want a social teacher or friend don't take him.
hard to get a hold of multiple issues with his online class
WORST TEACHER EVER!! not helpful, didnt do his job, and completely messed up the final with i almost failed because he wouldnt unlock it.
He is one of the best in the field. However, you as the student will have to do your part as well (be prepared, and practice practice practice, and if you don't understand something then duh ask). Thus you cannot train for a marathon in a day neither can you just float through this course without a little hard work and discipline.
Grading is strict, and class is not helpful. Makes you work in groups on the board, and he makes your mistakes look foolish. I do not understand his approach because he expects you to be an expert. Sometimes he will try to discourage and scare you, so only take his class for a challenge. You will have to teach yourself, and then go to class.
Horrible horrible teacher! He never communicates with you, the midterm and final had stuff we hadn't covered in class. I had A's and B's throughout the entire semester. Missed the final due to a death in the family out of state and he fails me without response to my e-mails. And wouldn't let me do retakes. Stay away!!!
He was very unhelpful. Would not answer any questions. I struggled in that class because he just wouldn't help. He would explain a few problems on the board and have you figure the rest on your own. Told me to 'Get a tutor' if I didn't get it.
How is a teacher this unhelpful the head of the math department? SPC needs to take a good hard look at Mr. Clinton's teaching ethics. My experience with him was that he is NOT about the success of the students... STAY AWAY!
Professor Clinton is a decent teacher but you will only do well in his class if you are already excelling in mathematics. He was a hard teacher because he does not truly teach the material and he expects you to be prepared and knowledgable with the material before hand. Slackers should avoid his class because he will leave you behind!
I took him for Physics and he grades 4 Tests and one can be replaced by the Final exam. He also grades 2 pop quizzes. Make sure you study the homework and the in class problems and you will do fine.
I saw his prior rates and it looks as if he has been off the grid; looks like he is back teaching and has changed his ways. doesn't smile a lot, but he is willing to help
The class went smooth after a couple of weeks. He told me that he hasn't taught the a physics class in a number years; he was a very fair teacher... i talk to him after class alot and noticed that hes very nice... i think he jus tries to stay profesional in class... do thework and you'll will be just fine
Prof. Clinton is a very stern man, but don't take that as a slight against you. He is a tough but fair grader(he will omit questions from a test if they are unfair in hindsight)who wants to see that you understand the process and aren't just guessing. If you stay up to date with the homework and are respectful you shouldn't have a problem passing.
This is the first time I joined the Laboratory but I was extremely disappointed in this professor ... He was an unhappy person and would apply that to his students ... I was extremely Trying to complete the reports in the best way but he always subtracted my points for silly reasons ... I have to submit 2 report articles every week but he grades ve
he was rude to me, and I was very sad and disappointed about it. He is the only professor in this summer class. I really hate him, my efforts become meaningless. Never take his class when you have another choice.
READ THIS DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS In his labs he grades you entirely too hard over silly errors. His lecture class was horrible the way he completes the problems are strange and he gives you a study guide for the test, but then tells you not to use it as a source of study. He is a hard person to speak to and i recommend you AVOID him at all cost!
If I knew there was another option for myself to take another physics professor even at another campus (not caring if I have to drive another half hour or so), I would have. His material is too complex and I also had him for physics I lab, he grades over silly mistakes. A very late grader. DO NOT TAKE HIM!
I don't agree with all the negative feedback regarding professor Clinton. He went over questions in class that were the same concepts reviewed in the homework and the exact same concepts seen on the test. His reviews even included some of the same questions verbatim that was on tests. Highly recommend to anyone willing to learn!
All students beware!Summer, consists of tutoring and self teaching thru the book! His grading is inaccurate!Even tho answers can be achieved multiple ways he will only take his way! Each question is 10% of tests!I had correct answers on my tests and he marked off wrong b/c I didn't do it his way and won't work with yu!Academic appeal is in the works.
Professor Tyrone has a sort of monotone voice but he is straight forward with how he teaches the material. He likes to teach in a more simplified manner which is good for people who are new to physics. He could go a little bit more in-depth into the concepts but overall he's a good teacher, people should give him more credit.
Harsh guy. Decent teacher. He pretty much just assumes you learned everything and understand it from the lecture, gives you the instructions and the materials and says go. Lets you work on labs as a group, but doesnt provide much guidance at all. Kind of rude when you address him.
I was harsh in my judgement of Professor Tyrone Clinton originally. I quickly found the weaknesses I saw in him were the weaknesses in me. He is ALWAYS there for you if you need him. However, he will not spoon feed his students. I went from thinking he was the toughest grader to the easiest. There is no figuring out this majestic man!
He seems like a nice person, was never rude to me. His teaching style is scattered and hard to follow. He often makes mistakes. He takes forever to post grades. He expects you to come to class knowing everything. Don't count on his practice tests to prepare for tests. DO NOT TAKE HIM. You'll regret it like I did.
Do not take him. He is very picky for lab. I have a 4.0 GPA with getting an A in all calc (1,2,3) classes and differential equations but somehow I failed to get an A in his physics 1 lab. He either likes you or hates you and he grades your labs accordingly. Most labs are duo based, aka you have a lab partner that you must depend on.
DO NOT TAKE HIM !!! He is always in a bad mood and rude to his students. He makes you feel stupid when you go ask him a question, like you should know everything. He does not care about each students' case. He will not help you out. Not just a bad teacher, but he's a really bad person. He has no emotions towards his students.
The absolute toughest and strictest grader I have ever had. You will not get 100% on anything no matter what. I have received A's and B+'s for my entire education and have actually enjoyed physics prior to this class. He will nit pick on every single thing in your lab reports. Lab reports are sometimes confusing and he doesn't explain things well.
Easy labs, felt a bit unprepared every time I entered class though. Seemed to jump into labs quite quickly with little explanation. You kind of have to fend for yourself or hope your lab partner knows what's going on. Group lab reports typed up in a satisfying format were nice, made you really have to analyze your experiments. Decent professor.
I'm pretty good at math but I could not understand what he was teaching. His lectures aren't even really lectures all he does is example problems but doesn't explain his steps or the rules to follow. Lets you have an index card for tests but its no help if you don't even know how to use the formulas. Had to withdraw so it wouldn't effect my GPA.
Professor is never prepared. The first day of class he didn't even have his syllabus updated from last term. It has taken him 3 to 4 weeks to grade labs. He said we'd need the text book, and no one has used it. If you ask him a question, he doesn't answer it directly. Pretty much you're on your own and the professor is very little help. Good luck.
At first, I wasn't very sure of this professor as he seemed very serious and didn't have very good ratings on here. However, as I was watching him teach, I realized he really does try his best to be as direct to his students. He won't baby you, but that's just what college is. THE TEXTBOOKS AREN'T NEEDED! Watch the vids he uploads and you'll b fine
Had him for both lecture and lab, definitely the most disorganized professor I've ever seen (in both classes). Email communication is painfully slow; takes a very long time grading tests, homework, and other assignments in both classes. Cameras on for zoom classes, randomly calls on you to answer questions, and test reviews do not help for tests.
it is so annoying how he uses different variables from what is shown online. All it will do is confuse the students. You gotta take him to understand what I mean and I hope you never do. It's annoying that I have to take this class for credit but I have him as a professor because, well, that was my only option unfortunately.
Professor Clinton teaches physics in a way that is understandable and easy to understand even if it is your first time taking physics (like me). He answers questions thoroughly, homework is bearable. Some homework questions are hard, so ask questions, he will explain them. Great experience overall.
He was awful
I was scared to take this class because of the reviews, but Professor Clinton was a great professor. He cares that you understand all the material, and makes sure everyone's questions are answered clearly. Tests are tough but physics is a hard class. He gives practice tests, and most questions appear on the test.
He has been the worst professor I've had at SPC. The way he chose to explain topics made the course significantly harder. I did not find him to be technologically savvy which hindered class and when I would ask questions his responses were not very helpful. Practice tests did not prepare me for exams. I taught myself most of the time.
Hes a nice professor and he really does try and answer any questions the students have but i would never take him again. He gives you test reviews yet only 2-3 questions from the review are on the actual test. He answers emails really late. His tests are heavy. You have to teach yourself most of the stuff taught in class.
I have never had to write a review for a professor, but this is by far the WORST teacher I have ever had. His tests are NOTHING like the review, it's the last day of the semester and he still hasn't put any hw grades in. Never responds to emails, makes a mistake on every single problem he works on. Super monotoned and only teaches by the textbook.
Just terrible.
I took the summer course of his physics class, and it wasn't as bad as the reviews. I'd say I did a moderate amount of studying and was able to pass with a B. Physics can be hard overall. My advice would be to practice on your own, look for outside sources, and refer back to what is shown in class, and you should be good.
Moderate class. His teaching was straight forward and he worked through the hard problems in class. The homework was chosen well so that it would reflect our learning. He made sure we had all the formulas we needed and let us use our own notecards on tests. Tests always had 1 really hard problem but were otherwise easy if you studied. Good professr
Professor Clinton is a very direct and helpful teacher. He was always available during lecture and after class to answer any questions and took the time to go through problems so that all of the students un
Professor Clinton is very direct & helpful. Hes always available during lecture and after class to answer questions and go through problems so all of the students understood.I took the summer course so it was very vigorous, but he was understanding and also gave plenty of options for extra points on tests.the homework is online (graded w/retakes)
With a lot of anguish I was able to get an A in this class. I feel like Prof Clinton wants the best for students, but he is just a really bad teacher. Get a tutor immediately. You will need one.
Professor Clinton is a professor that is clearly trying his best to teach, but just isn't very good at it. He has strict professionalism rules for class but constantly makes mistakes. Honestly I'm not convinced he has a strong grasp of what he teaches. Show up for lectures but don't pay attention go study yourself and you'll do fine.
Worst professor at SPC. Unclear and very confusing labs. They should fire him a long time ago. He can't teach!
SPC PLEASE FIRE THIS PROFESSOR. HE GRADE ASSIGMENTS UNFAIR!! VERY RACIST TOO!!!
The professor's teaching style makes it hard to figure out what will be on the tests, which cover 3-4 chapters with lots of homework and little overlap with reviews. He encourages participation and sometimes extends homework, but doesn't always clarify concepts or provide guidance, and the grading delays make it tough to plan.
Although Professor Clinton was a very tough grader, he was pretty accessible outside of class and was willing to double-check your lab report before submitting it.
Professor Clinton's teaching style can be hit-or-miss, but with dedication and the right study tools like Unstuck AI, the class is manageable. Practice tests don't fully prepare for exams, so be ready to put in the work. Overall, a challenging but worthwhile physics course.
The most unpleasant professor I've encountered at SPC. The course is very test-heavy with a solid 70% of your grade being spread across 3 tests, 15% on your final, and only 15% from homework. He barely replies to emails and makes the subject feel even more difficult than it already is. Also, the homework site gives no explanations.
AWFUL, 3 students dropped out his class within the first week, very dismissive, unorganized, tries to act like hes so professional, but is not professional himself. Belittles students, does not help with homework nor properly update it. Just overall horrible i dont know how he has this just, please bewarned and avoid
Would not take a class with him ever again! He isn't a good teacher, he makes you feel stupid when you don't understand something. He nitpicks grading and doesn't even give an explanation. He takes 1 hour to do 2 questions. Lectures are a waste of time because you learn nothing. His notes are all over the place, you might as well get a tutor.
Poor communication, calls on you in class and makes snarky comments if you don't know something he just introduced to the class. There are no additional sources to help you understand the material, you are just told to use a tutor. Tests are nothing like the review or homework. Material covered in class might confuse you more than you already are.
the worst professor of all time, i dont know how they let him teach hes a nightmare.
I had him last semester for physics 2, by far the worst professor I ever had. Really obnoxious and rude. Even if you're good at physics or math, dont take him. Save yourself the headache.
Clinton's 2.4 rating is unfair. He's tough, and his tests can be unpredictable, but he's kind, accessible, and teaches like a college professor. Gives decent practice tests. If you're not ready for a challenge, don't take him—but if you are, you'll learn a lot. If you cannot learn from a textbook do not take.
Professor Clinton was a good professor. If you're willing to study very hard and communicate with him, then I don't see why you would fail. The only downside is that the tests didn't always have questions that reflected what was on the practice test, homework, or lecture notes, but there weren't many of those questions at all on each test.
Tough grader, but very manageable to get an A if you work hard and seek help from him as needed.
Get ready to teach yourself physics. Clinton is awful at teaching and his tests consist 1/3 of the study guide and 1/3 of the homework and the final 3rd are question you have never seen before not to mention 8 question tests. Would take anyone else if u care about ur grade.
He is strict and fair, I think you should know a few things about his Physics class: - There are three tests and one final exam. - He allows you to carry one flash card as a cheat sheet in each tests and the final exam. - There are practice tests (the practice only cover some of the question on the test.) - He drops the lowest scoring test out of 3
Professor Clinton' PHY 2048 is challenging but manageable. I suggest to buy a binder to carry your formulas and constants. The most difficult part of his class concern torque and equilibrium, so get a tutor from your campus to help you understand it. Other than that, learn some time management skills for this class. I hope you'll pass with an A.
He's rude and refuses to pronounce names correctly. Tests have a few problems from review. He'll admit that you might need a tutor. No extra credit he just drops one test and his lecture he tries to work problems he made up but makes lots of mistakes so they're pointless.
Complete joke of a teacher. Do not take his class, SPC should be ashamed to have him on the teaching staff.
Tests and grading are beyond kind (provided you spend time doing your homework). Lectures are clear, and definitely help to build strong problem solving skills and good conceptual understanding. Idk why his rating is so poor. Probably because lots of people don't put sufficient effort.
He failed 70% of the class, does not care about his students at all. If you care about your grade do NOT take him. You have been warned.
First off Prof.Clinton is hard. and many would never take his class again. many failed I mean many. Prof. Clinton will prep you for University, Im now doing Phys 2 at UCF and its a breeze compared to Prof Clintons class. If you pay very close attention and ask questions, participate in class. Learn those vectors and how to decompose them well.
Clinton has got to be THE WORST EVER professor to ever exist. Doesn't know how to teach, doesn't even know how to solve his own problems (which is what he uses to teach you) so right off the bat you wont learn anything. He will call you out!! watch out! He is extremely rude, doesn't work with you. RUN FAR! HE WILL FAIL YOU! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!
Was the worst professor I've ever interacted with and had. Extremely rude, not helpful, won't answer emails, is gonna get smart with you and be ironic, won't help you to solve problems. So as you can understand, he's completely useless. He will 100% call you out. Don't waste your time and money taking him, he will make your semester living hell.
Easily the worst class I've taken. He talks in a monotone voice, gives super vague instructions, and never explains what you did wrong. No feedback, no forgiveness, just condescending attitude. Feels like you're in detention instead of a lab. I learned nothing from this course. This school needs to fire him asap.
Tough but fair. Final can be exempt. If you take final, lowest test is dropped. Ur own formula card is allowed on tests. Lectures are all practice problems. Calls on random ppl. If u are unprepared, he will nuke your GPA because tests (ONLY 3) are weighted 70% and are usually 10 questions each. NO CURVE, only bonus added (like +5 out of 55). No EC
By far the weakest instructor I've had at SPC. His intimidating demeanor masks his lack of care for students, and his long tenure doesn't show in this course. He's often corrected by students, seems focused on satisfying the bare minimum performance. Don't let his personality pressure you—stay firm and double-check that the work is graded fairly.
