I recently took english 2 with this teacher, and let me tell you that he is really good. He assigns 3 papers where we get to apply concepts we learned from the book plus an additional final paper. You must read a chapter a week but its okay, one must learn right? In class we discuss the chapter and then write a page about it.

Mr. Palmeno's class was different, the material learned really gets you to think of the world around you. You question what's really happening in your surroundings.

This class prepares you very well for the English 2 class. This is the class you want to take if you care about your education and achieve a great level of english.

Mr. Palmeno is a great professor. I took his ENG 1A class and it was great. This class does require a lot of work but if you put in the effort you'll be fine. All the lectures discussed in class are actually useful and clear. I suggest taking Mr. Palmeno for his ENG 1A or any of his classes.

Coming into Mr. Palmeno's class as my first English class in college, I didn't know what to expect, but he made the class enjoyable and fun to learn. The workload in the beginning is tough but don't give up! You will enjoy his lectures and his sense of humor. Be prepared to read a lot. Overall this class was enjoyable and take lots of notes!

If you're up for a challenge, Palmeno will give you just this. He's extremely informative and gives extremely interesting lectures. All of the assignments he gives are extremely straightforward. He does give lots of papers and there is a lot of reading, but you just have to be on top of things. I have never had a more challenging English class.

Mr. Palmeno gives lectures almost everyday in class that will help when you need to write an essay or complete an assignment. There are assignments due mostly every Friday, but if you pay attention in class and read whatever articles are assigned, the assignments should be very easy to complete.

If you cant stand reading this is not the class for you. As long as you do all your work you will be fine. He is intimidating at the beginning of the semester but he isnt a super hard grader. His reading assignments are interesting. I enjoyed his class and his film he showed at the end of the semester

Highly recommend Palmeno, after taking his English-1A and English-2 I have been able to think more independently. During lectures Palmeno brings up very interesting topics allowing for students to really think about what they are reading. Highly recommend and if I had to take more English classes I would definitely take Palmeno again.

I don't understand how people can give bad comments on this class. Having Palmeno for three different English courses, I can truly say his classes have been my all time favorite. Mr. Palmeno is a good Professor. He does give out lots of assignments and essays but they do significantly help your writing skills. He likes everything to be perfectly structured and labeled but other than that, it is an easy class to pass.

I LOVED his class. Very very easy if you like reading. Even if you don't, it'll be interesting for you. Very accessible if you miss a quiz. Be careful on the plagiarism though! He checks in almost every essay/assignment.
