Great treat to have a native speaker teach this class. She knows a lot of the cultural and historic background of the German-speaking countries. She is caring and fun, and not too demanding. Her tests are fair. If you come to class and pay attention you will get a good grade. Quizzes are announced, and there are practice sessions for tests.

Got a good grip on beginning German in this class. Emphasis on communication and cultural knowledge but grammar work as well (as is to be expected in a language class.) Instructor is clear and helpful, has fun relationship with class. Expectations are clear, tests are fair. Good class. Liked the instructor .

Linguistics isn't the most interesting subject but this teacher makes it somewhat fun and pretty easy to grasp. Her tests are REALLY easy and the study guides are pretty much all you need. She gives you an option of one 10 page paper or two 5 page papers on a topic of your choice. Good class and she wants you to get an A, hard not to.

This is an easy class, that a person can actually learn something in. Information is somewhat exciting and she does keep the class rather interesting. Only down side to her is that her voice is melodic...it put me to sleep...possibly one of the most beautiful voices ever. Also she frequently doesnt go to class leaving a person the oppurtonity to go home early if its your last class!

wonderful teacher. loves to reiterate lectures meaning if you miss a day of class, come the next day your caught up. easy tests, provides study guides that is amaizingly the same material you need to know on the test.. directly! once you got the concept, you can pretty much sleep in class after that and still get an A. cant stress EaSy

Her class is easy. She tells you whats going to be on the test. Gives you notes, outlines, and reviews it all before test. Easy A.

The best. Sunny disposition, super knowledgeable, kind, never puts anyone down, very approachable. She's clear, well organized, gives study guides. I took four courses with Ulrike, Linguistics and three Italian classes, although--unfortunately-- she no longer teaches the latter. Always remember her as a wonderful instructor.

For Intro. to Language. Very open-minded and open-ended teaching style. Taught lots without being too technical. At the beginning of each class she would present recent news items involving linguistics. Encouraged students to bring in articles. Loved discussion, but still taught. She is extremely sweet. Definitely my top favorites. Linguistics, at least to me, is an essential subject to learn and intriguing. Tests ?'s are pulled directly from study guide, but they can be tricky. There is few homework. She is lenient on due dates. Her accent is wonderful. As a person, she is like a loving mother, approachable, and caring.

She is an extremely sweet woman, who made this class interesting. There were 3 midterms (which were identical to the study guide and one was take home. She also drops the lowest score). She also gave us the options of doing our finals in groups or open book. I would recommend anyone to take her class out of the easiness and interest.

She gives out great notes and she doesnt even skip to the next slide until your done! haha I took this class just for the units and barely did anything and will probably end up with a B after finals. She is great at presenting the course material in a clear and interesting manner. Show up and follow the notes and hand outs and you will be more than half way to a high grade then each midterm will be a breeze because she does thorough review. We took the final in groups of 4 or 5. Great course, great instructor, easy A.

Prof. Christofori is awesome! attend class take notes she gives you study guides for exactly whats going to be on the test. Test are moderate easy. Final is a group final. Only one paper at the end of the semester. This is actaully an interesting class i learned alot!

Chistofori gives almost no homework, the exception being a 5 page term paper on a subject of your choice. There are 3 midterms but your lowest one is discarded. Even the final is a group final. She makes the subject VERY intersting. THERE IS NO GOOD REASON TO TAKE THIS CLASS WITH ANY OTHER TEACHER!!!

Professor Ulrike Christofori is a such a nice lady! I took her class during Fall Semester 2009, and it was my favorite class! Although she can be a little fast with her lessons, she is very thorough, entertaining, and informative. Feel free to ask for her help. I definitely recommend her for anyone taking the Humanities courses!

Christofori is so nice and helpful. Sometimes she gets a little lost in her lectures but it's so easy and interesting! There is a 6 page paper due but it's really not that bad. Other than that, the tests aren't to bad and her study guides are pretty helpful. She practically gives out the answers. I'd definitely recommend taking this class.

Humanities 4/Anthro 4 (it's the same class) was the easiest class I have ever taken at Delta. Christofori teaches well and definitely cares about her students. She seriously explains a lot during lecture but in a good way. You'll be surprised at how many answers you'll circle effortlessly once you have the test in your hands. Definitely an Easy A.

She does give quizzes but they're short and incredibly easy. She'll even drop your lowest grade for one. Her final was easy because we could work in groups. You don't need to read the chapters as long as you take really good notes off of her powerpoints. Everything from the study guide is on the tests. She lets you use a index card for the tests.

If you're going to take her online class, don't bother buying the book. It was not helpful at all. MAKE SURE to follow along with her modules. You're given two tries for quizzes and exams. I recommend having the modules open in tabs while doing your quiz/exam. You won't fail. She responds quickly and is very sweet.

There is not a lot of work to do. But you have to keep up with discussions. The topics can be boring. She is set in her beliefs and tells her students that all experts agree with her, which is untrue. So you have to agree to get a good grade. If get over that, then the class is easy.

This is hands down, the best instructor at Delta and her course is an excellent introduction to the study of linguistics. We had a great time in her class and she is a gifted lecturer. This professor gets my highest recommendation - The assignments and the exams are not difficult - if you do the work, you're going to do well.

I love her bro. Group final, no homework, easy lectures. She lets you out early so dont worry and come to class. The way she teaches makes the material stuck in your brain so you dont have to study as much. PLUS SHES FUNNY AS HELL

This course was fairly easy. There is a somewhat heavy workload but its manageable. She sometimes gives a few days after the due date to turn in assignments, but still, dont procrastinate! Quizzes are simple, make sure to have your need-to-know sheets filled out and in front of you.

And because she is willing to go out of her way to ensure that one understands a concept, she is supportive, too.

I really enjoyed Professor Christofori. She is great at engaging the class with the material. It is obvious how passionate she is about the subject she teaches. I wish I could take this class more than once. She is one of my favorite professors at Delta, hands down.

She is VERY nice, and wants you to pass her course! She is very flexible with due dates and not at all a tough grader. She explains very complex ideas in really simple terms, and will answer any questions that you have about the lecture. 3 short essays & weekly quizzes + discussion posts. It might be literally impossible to fail this class.

Prof. Ulrike Christofori gives really good lectures and you learn a lot in this ANTHR 4 class. I took this class online. She gives out documents with questions and you find the answers by reading, no physical textbooks required. She is very caring and gives you a lot of time to finish your work. Quizzes are given weekly, & based on the documents.

Professor C is an awesome linguistics professor. She's very caring and understanding to one's individual needs. She responds to e-mails very quickly. Take her linguistics class online its awesome. I learned a lot about cultural languages importance, being english speaking only.

Professor Ulrike is a great professor! I am normally a B / C student but her class was so interesting & she gives you opportunities to better your grades. The tests are easy but you have to read the lecture notes. The book is free and pay attention to the questions at the end of the cup. they're the of some same answers for the quizzes. GOODLUCK!

I LOVE THIS PROFESSOR! It was my first online summer course and I was so anxious, but she is amazing! Everything is listed: a weekly discussion, 2 modules(reading+quiz), 3 papers, and no final. It is self-paced so you can finish the whole course in 2 weeks if you wanted! The quizzes are basically in the modules, just fill out the lecture notes! 5/5

Professor Christofori is one of the most understanding professors I have had. She is always so open to giving extensions and helping her students. Not to mention her class isn't a hard one at all. If you want an easy experience, take her class.

take this professor if youre taking linguistics! i already had a love for it but her class made me realize how passionate i was about this subject. if you fill out the study guides while going through lectures, there is no chance of test failure. easy class and great professor who explained things well ! i recommend

A really nice professor! She is really caring about her students and will clearly explain the material. Quick with grading and gives (usually positive) feedback. For german, it is a 5 unit course, so there is a bit of work but deadlines are clear and you have plenty of time to complete work. Shoutout to her though I really like her :)

Professor Christoforis class was very interesting to learn from. I took the class for credit and if I had the chance to take her class again, I would do so. Although the quizzes were a little tough for me in my opinion, I still enjoyed her class. I recommend her if anyone wants to take linguistics.

The best decision I made was to take German I & German II with Professor Christofori. Her lectures were informative, her assignments were helpful, and I had the best time in both of her German classes! She wrote my study abroad letter to Germany, and I was not only accepted to the program but offered a scholarship. Kindest professor I've ever had!

This professor is amazing. She had pre-taped lectures for each module; she also provided a study guide for each module which helped with the exams. There is a free textbook available online but if you follow the study guide and watch the lectures you don't need the book. Each module was one week and included a quiz and discussion post.

She is a fantastic teacher. I would love to take a class with her again. I heard she was retiring and that is a great loss for the students.

Very easy as long as you fill out the lecture notes for each module. They contain everything you need to focus on for the module quiz, which is usually true/false. No formal exams, just 3 reflection papers throughout the semester. Super caring and interesting topics. Sends reminders each week. No brainer if you need GE credit.

Amazing professor. She is very accommodating towards life problems. Plus, she has the most interesting lectures, you'll learn so many new things in this class. You'll even learn new things about yourself! About a dozen lectures with a discussion/quiz and three papers. A very easy class if you pay attention to the lectures and take notes.

Christofori wants her students to excel. I found none of her assignments of her quizzes difficult, especially since she allows you to have study guides for her tests. You can even retake the test again. Overall, I learned a lot from this class and would definitely suggest learning more about yourself from taking this course!

The best professor I've had. The class is very easy as long as you do the lecture notes she provides for each module. The lectures are very enjoyable, and she overall seems very interested in the topic as well. I would take her class again if I could.

Ulrike is a super sweet professor. Her class is a bit of a challenge, but you will learn about topics in linguistics that are extremely interesting. She goes out of her way to make sure her students are comfortable and understand the material. There are 10 quizzes, 2 papers, nine discussions and a final reflection paper.

Professor Christofori was one of the best Delta professors I've taken. She was incredibly caring, and her lectures were inspiring. She made the content interesting and you could tell that she wanted everyone to understand each topic thoroughly. If you ever have an issue, she is quick to respond(sometimes within 25 minutes!) 10/10 would recommend!

Professor Christofori is one of the best professors I've had in a while. She is great at replying to emails, will tell you how to improve and is set on making all of her students succeed. There's a textbook required but it's free and easily accessible. There is 10 module quizzes that make up most of your grade. I would totally take her class again!

Super nice professor who cares a lot about her students - she WANTS you to succeed. She is also very enthusiastic about the material. 10 total modules and final is a 700 word min reflection. Very easy - got 100% on every assignment and extra credit. Module quizzes come DIRECTLY from lecture notes she provides. I learned a lot without the stress.

Professor Christofori is wonderful! She was very understanding when I had to ask for an extension on an assignment after the due date passed due to managing high school and college courses at the same time. She also really takes the time to read through papers. She is very inclusive in all her material. Her response time is also commendable.

Loved this course and professor. Really recommend taking!! Easy and manageable workload, she is really understanding and will you give you extensions. She responds fast. Her lectures are really easy and she breaks it down for you, she even provides a narration video of her reading the lesson.

Honestly one of the best professors I've ever had. The course was very well structured and all the modules were organized in a way that made everything easy to access and understand. There wasn't a huge workload as it was fairly simple to keep up with. She is a very caring and supportive professor that made the overall class experience amazing.

If you are taking ANTHR 4, please take her. Most of her assignments are short and very easy quizzes, discussions, and a few simple papers. It would be hard to fail her class due to how easy the work is. Also, the information in her modules is fascinating. I learned a lot from her. Overall, she is very sweet. I recommend!
