Dr. Uma has been by far my favorite professor here at Columbus State. She's a professor that tries her hardest to help you succeed. She gave a fair amount of extra credit but don't think you can skate by. Do the homework and quizzes, actually study for the exams and you will do great in her class.

I took Dr. Uma for Accounting II. Accounting is not an easy subject and it does require work. Dr. Uma is more than happy to help you succeed in her class in any way that she can. She is easy to talk to and explains the material well. She gives opportunities to help balance out your grade as well so that its not just based on the tests.

Dr. Uma is an awesome person and truly cares about her students and their education. I am a very involved learner and her lectures are pretty much the PowerPoints (this was a challenge for me). If you do need help go to her with specific questions; she wants you to do well. Overall I really enjoyed her as a professor!

Accounting can be tough be she makes it easier on people. Go to class and study the homework and quizzes and you'll pass the class easily. She has a great attitude about accounting and life in general.

Professor Uma is an amazing professor, you can tell she truly cares about teaching and her students as well. Accounting is not an easy course no matter who you take, but its great to have a professor that cares about you passing just as much as you do. I advise anyone to have her as a professor, she was there whenever I needed her.

I took her Principles of Accounting II class online. It requires plenty of study in order to understand the concepts. She is very clear regarding her expectations, and she holds students to the standards. She also responds promptly to e-mails and is very helpful and fair in resolving any problems. Participate in the discussions and study regularly.

Very approachable. This was my first online class and I have enjoyed the platform. Dr. Uma made the online work easy to understand and had a discussion section (accounting) that focused on topics relevant to my age group.

Do the work, commit to it the class, and Dr. Uma will work with you to make sure you understand the material and be prepared for tests and assignments. Not a free A, but an excellent teacher.

Dr. Uma is an exceptional teacher. She is fast with responds, and she uses Pearson as a tool for online classes. However, it is like you are in the classroom with her. There are special features where you can directly email her a questions on the online tool. Its pretty neat. Great class and teacher! I recommended Dr. Uma to my sister!

This course uses text, videos, and online Pearson MyAccountingLab to complete homework. This professor included a detailed excel sheet with a timeline to help students stay on track... if you follow the timeline you'll be GOLDEN! Professor Sridharan is also very friendly and encouraging, which is nice for a tough class.

Discussions included real life application and. Homework and quizzes helped me to understand concepts better, and if I still did not understand, I could easily review the PowerPoints, videos, and sites Dr. Uma shared. Dr. Uma provided all the materials for me to succeed and not only learn but retain the knowledge I've gained.

She took my fear away of taking a tough course online away! I was very pleased with the communication and support. It was the same amount of work I had for ACCT 2101 in class.

Dr. Uma gives a Recommended study plan. If you follow it you will have no problem with making an A. She communicates very well, and the material is very detailed. By far the best online teacher I have ever had.

I had a rough time with this course as I was always on military duty and crazy hours. Professor Uma stayed in constant contact with the class as a whole and me personally anytime I sent her an email/message. It is a very challenging course but she makes you stay on task and moves it right along.

She provides lectures, videos and power points for each chapter that needs to be completed which is very helpful since this is an online class. She provides us with study guides to assist us with our exams which is very very helpful. The only down side to the class was all that work cramped up into a 7 week semester.

I took this class as an on-line class and I would say she was really great at making sure we got the material. It was a hard class for me because of how much time I had to spend learning the material and having to work a full time job during the week. I wouldn't recommend taking this class on-line if you have a hard time teaching yourself.

This is my second time taking ACCT 2102 and I can definitely say I much prefer online classes. Dr. Uma made this class really easy and I understand accounting better than I did in the past. She was great at responding in a timely manner. If you have the option to take a class with her, I would definitely recommend choosing her, you won't regret it.

Professor was very helpful and understanding. All assignments had power points, videos and links to assist you with the chapter. The syllabus was very detailed and outlined the entire course for you.

This professor sends out instructions, and reminders which are very helpful considering I took the online version of this course. In order to understand the material you HAVE to be thorough with the material. This professor is great at answering questions in a timely manner.

I took Accounting II online with Uma Sridharan. Online courses do not have a lot of interaction with the professor however I felt like she was very organized and made learning the material through the online course easy to navigate through. She also provided numerous videos as supplemental resources to the book.

Professor was pretty good. No complaints. The course work was steady with plenty to do each week. The tests and coursework was all on myaccountlab but having the book handy helped a lot. The lectures helped but all you really needed was the book to pass coursework.

This was an online course and it used MyAccountingLab (MAL). Accounting is challenging but MAL makes it easy to manage. You have to read the textbook thoroughly, but it teaches you everything you need to know with ease. Also, Dr. Sridharan is awesome! She gives the perfect amount of homework and really cares about the success of her students.

Dr. Sridharan is a really great professor. She posts an insane amount of information on Cougarview to help with learning the subject, and you also have MyAccountingLab with the book for the class that gives you everything you need. She is very available if you need her, and gives clear deadlines and information. I would easily take her again!!!

She's a really informative online professor. She makes it clear when everything is due and when exams are coming up. She also emails back very quickly which is also a plus when you need help with something. You should take her online for accounting 2 it will be a breeze.

Dr. Uma is by far the most caring professor at CSU when it comes to students. She gives all students the tools and opportunities to pass. If you do not excel in any class Dr. Uma teaches it is because you did not complete your work or did not go to class. Dr. Uma is a very informative online professor at CSU. She lets you know when big assignments and exams are due and gives many opportunities to pass assignments. Dr. Sridharan online class is so easy, all tests, quizzes, and homework will be online and are open book. The only test that you will have to take in the class is the final exam. Easy online class, just be aware of deadlines.

Dr. Uma is a very outstanding professor and very accessible during the entire course. The course homework was easy to understand, but it is very important to study for the exams, which are timed. It was very helpful to revisit the homework assignment before exams. I would have preferred to taken both Accounting I and Accounting II with her.

Dr. Sridharan wants to know her students by name and will know them by the 3rd class. She wants class participation and interaction and she will do a great job to keep the topic as interesting as possible by helping to relate it to what is going on in the world today!

While the class is a bit more difficult because it is an online course and that does require more discipline, it wasn't harder than other classes. The professor was very involved with the classmates and knowledgeable of the information.

This class was by far one of my favorite. Dr. Uma is a great proffesor and i would love to take her again. Clear on grading material, quiz and homework every other week and three exams and a final.

Dr. Sridharan does well teaching accounting information systems. I learned a lot of new material that I have never seen. Getting to learn quickbooks was the best thing about the class.

Professor is one of those professors who want to see her students succeed. She really cares about her students and is very clear about what you need to take away from lectures. Accounting Information Systems is not one of the most fun classes you can take, but she tried to make it more bearable.

Teaches the class that there are other certification in accounting besides the CPA. Most all teachers always push the CPA and the CPA only.

Accounting 2 with Ms. Sridharan online is a great choice. She is super caring, and very helpful. She gives you enough time to complete the assignments. The online course is very easy. Make sure you log in everyday to make sure you dont miss assignments because you wont be able to go back to it. You have discussion so make sure you log onto CV daily as well. Overall, the online textbook and practice chapters made it easier for the homework and quizzes. Definitely try those before homework

This professor is very organized, you can count on there being a test every 3 chapters and a quiz with each chapter. There is a proctored exam, the school prefers it as the final, she had it scheduled for the 2nd exam and with open book! But make sure you check the syllabus, to make sure you don't miss anything (especially the discussions, oops..)

Professor Uma was my favorite professor this semester. I do not like accounting, however I wish I had another accounting class just so I could take her class again. I am terrible at testing and her class has helped me because every grade counts, not just the exams. Highly recommend you to fight to have this professor! She cares!

She definitely cares about her students but can be a bit passive aggressive when helping. She gave us second attempts at exams. The only thing that I would keep in mind is to show up to class on time. She will call you out if you do not show up on time.

The class was difficult, and I definitely had to study a lot. We had weekly quizzes and discussions. The discussions were pretty basic. The project was a bit difficult and the instructions of turning it in weren't pretty clear. I would take this professor again. Just make sure to show up and pay attention.

She cares and wants her students to pass. She opens most tests for a second attempt and allows a page of notes. You have a lot of other assignements to fall back on. She DOES NOT accept late work or take hardly any excuses for needing a time extention on anything. Just do the work and make good notes for the tests and you'll pass.

She was good, especially for taking Accounting 2 online. She gave out homework, and quizzes. There werealot of graded assignments besides the exams. She recorded her lecture of the material, and offered online meetings every monday (not required for attendance). All exams were fully locked down, but she allowed a full page of notes/formulas.
