Mrs. Kumar is rude and disrespectful to her students. She gives PJC a bad name. Students leave her classromm very upset every time. She picks on students in front of all the other students and degrades them as well.

Picks favorites and other students just do not have a chance for the rest of the semester. Very impolite

I thought this class would be my fave. Wrong!! She grades unfairly(2 students have the same answer yet different grades!), plays favorites, and is the rudest person I have ever met.

Every day I dread going to this class. I think I would rather be stabbed in the leg than to go and listen to this moron every day. Do not take this class for the love of god. If you value your sanity don not tkae this class.

Not a good teacher. She don't explain what she want and she tell how people do in the class to make people look bad.

I took this class online and it was horrible. I think I'm pretty proficient at excel already, but the stuff i didnt understand, i still don't understand. She posts powerpoint presentations that supposedly help, but they are just pages straight from the book. it takes her forever to answer emails..more than the 24 hrs that she says. do not take her

She is not a good teacher. She has no business teaching; the subject matter is simple, so the class is not hard. She was always nice to me, but she is downright rude to people who have any real difficulty grasping the subject matter (unless you go out of your way to be friendly, i.e. brown nose).

This woman cannot speak a word of english! She said the very first class that if you finished your work before class she would let you go..she doesn't even show the assignments until about an hour before the class! Then she lectures about what we're going to learn! It would be alright if we could understand her! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE & TEACHER!!!!

Unless you are an absolute WHIZ at spreadsheet DON'T take this class online. IMO the instruction was useless. Powerpoint slides: useless. No response to questions. I withdrew from class before midterm - not worth the stress! DON'T take Kumar because you need a good instructor to pass this class-you will not pass with just the book for help.

Teacher unhelpful!! Rude when answering emails. The ITLab is impossible to setup on the computer. Had to do most of the work for this class in Computer Lab. Be prepared to be unhappy!

Very, very bad instructor. Doesn't reply to emails. Isn't in office when suppose to be, so no answer on the phone. Very unorganized teacher. Instructions in emails are confusing. Homework not posted when it should be. No homework grades posted. You're basically on your own. Find another teacher!

She has an intense Indian accent which makes understanding her difficult. She cuts down students and makes you feel as if you were the dumbess person in the world for not understand what you're supposed to be doing. I love computers was looking forward to learning programming, now I want nothing to do with programming. This class was useless.

Literally, run for your lives!!! DO NOT take Professor Kumar. She is highly unorganized and very difficult to understand. Never returns phone calls or emails. I could go on and on. It was a nightmare.

The software used doesn't work half the time. She doesn't speak very clear English. I know a ton about computers and struggled in this class due to lack of direction. Would not advise others to take it. Seeking full refund ASAP. Looked forward to the class, disappointed greatly.

Awful, just plain awful. Prepare to die. Already have competent computer skills with Word, PowerPoint, etc. expecting an easy computer credit? Well guess again You are now basically an incompetent schmuck with computers who will now have to spend arduous amounts of time clicking on broken software. Stupid, lousy terms of skills we take for granted!

Not a good teacher. Unorganized and confusing. Doesnt assist well. If you don't understand she'll tell you "figure it out yourself". More than half the class dropped. Had a B but dropped because whIle I was passing I had no idea what I was doing. Left Disappointed,because I was really excited for the class. Not sure why she's still teaching

Let me start out by saying Ms. Kumar is a nice person. She's just a bit out of her depth and I'll never take another class from her again. As previously stated, she's not the most organized nor the best teacher. It took her an entire class period to try to show us how to create a program and she couldn't do it. Disappointing to say the least.

Vai Kumar was the most inspirational teacher I've ever had. When asked why we don't understand she said and i quote "why don't you understand, they are just loops." Apparently a search binary is a loop. Well, it is, but she doesn't give you the information to put in the loop, when asked for that, she repeats "its just a loooooop"

Wanna learn how to make useless flowcharts that have nothing to do with programming? Well here's your chance! Don't know how to do the work because the professor doesn't know how to teach and can't speak proper English? "Just use a loop!" as she would say. Just use a loop.

This Spreadsheet class was ridiculs. Mrs. Kumar was not able to help me or another student with our questions on the assignment. she did nothing. Sams( software you use for work) did the grading for her when you submit as well as the test. The homework and test in sams was very tedious and frustrating because you have to do it the way it wants you.

Very unprofessional and unhelpful. Netiquette should be used by professors as well as students. Use all caps in sentences & highlights them like your dumb. Argumentative when voicing your concern/questions to other students in chat. Should not be a professor if you don't like students or answering questions. Never taking a class again w/ her.

Teaches inaccurate information, Assigned homework that required using procedures not covered in class. When performing demonstrations on how to make flowchart programs, her programs often threw error messages and did not function correctly. Causes confusion among the students because explanations are either vague or incorrect.

Horrible teacher! She's basically learning the material alongside you. You're getting an error message? You are basically on your own. She was no help whatsoever. Would never take her again.

Turn around! Drop all classes with this teacher! She Doesnt teach anything that is on her tests! She doesnt care if u need help her answer is always "its in the the book"

Its impossible to understand half of Prof. Kumars lectures due to her broken English. You are made to do MANDATORY work that will not count to your grade. You basically self teach yourself and if you can't understand her then you're "on your own" - and you work on broken programs. DON'T take a class with this teacher. Big mistake on my part.

I am now 4 classes away from my bachelors degree and never in my time at PSC have I made below an A in any of my courses, I currently have a 72 in this class and am stressing on whether or not I am going to pass. Dr. Kumar is very unclear in her grading and gets very frustrated when you ask questions and try to rationalize with her.

She is very nice thats about all I can say about this instructor. If you have no programming experience I would not recommend her. You are pretty much on your own in this class. I learned way more about programming from the programming tutors at the trio building. I would highly recommend other instructors.

This teacher is horrible. She takes forever to respond( if ever) and when she does, it's to type in all caps. Absolutely zero feedback on anything. If you catch her in the wrong, she still argues. I called her out on an exam that she gave on the wrong chapters. She argued she was right and would send proof that night. I still hear crickets.

My first programming class ever was a total bust with this teacher. Her english is totally botched and difficult to understand and she NEVER explains technical concepts, but only gives broad "idea level" explanations of the material. If you take her, understand you are signing yourself up for a self-taught class. She's really nice though.

This teacher made me hate my degree. The lectures are long and worthless; you will learn better reading the book yourself. The book used in the class teaches you how to use a different database and syntax than what you will be using in class. She will attempt to teach the class syntax and tools that do not work or outdated. Never taking her again.

She is the worst teacher who you can barely understand and does not grade appropriately at all. You and another student can turn in the same thing and one will get a 60 the other a 40 but both can be right just not in her way.

Went from being an honors student and double minoring in both Nursing and Health Services Management to failing her class twice. She is not understanding by any means and has to get kicks from failing students. She is demeaning and will treat you like your stupid.

This instructor has terrible communication. Any attempt to ask for help about concepts will be met with "Read the Book", "you need to read the book", or "why didn't you read the book?". Terrible grading policies. Many pop quizzes. Homework is not actually homework because it is due by the end of class. Overall bad experience, would not recommend.

This teacher was awful. She was unapproachable, condescending and Zoom meetings were chaotic and uncontrolled. I have straight As except her class. Everyone in the class states the same: that they learned nothing from the class. I will NEVER take an online class again, especially not hers. Don't do it unless you want a serious drop in your GPA.

This Teacher Accused me of cheating 3 times. Never once did I cheat. She claimed I wrote too complex code, but it was the exact same code that she wrote on the board. Taking her class cost me 300$ and a failing grade. I worked my butt off In her class only for her to treat me terribly. she grades unfairly.

Every email I sent was responded to with a response only to my last question. She did not accommodate for my wifi issues at home. During my final I had a power outage and she couldn't care less. On CompTIA the class is still open yet she won't allow me to retake the final because the due date has past. Do NOT take Prof. Kumar for anything.

I took this teacher reluctantly because this course was a requirement for my degree and I'm just gonna plainly say it, this teacher is probably the worst I'll ever have. She ignores students that prove her wrong and when she makes a mistake she blames others including students. DONT TAKE THIS TEACHER
