much harder than it needs to be. Didn't learn anything useful for my effort
he actually used the term PREGGERS when refering to pregnancy..enough said!
You wanted us to study THAT sentence in 3 chapters. OK
can't understand him, he doesn't teach and then expects you to know 10 chapters
Much harder than it should be. He needs more grades and he's tough to understand
everyone else said it all
way harder than necessary. unclear test objectives. learned NOTHING

Super smart guy. Loves the Simpsons. If your in to learning he's great.
Looks like a cartoon character...if you do the tests online you should be fine for the real ones he gives...talks about completely random stupid things and didn't learn anything
He is a very nice, funny, smart man, but his teaching was kind of hard to understand.
He absolutely sucks. I did not learn a thing!. He never showed up about class, always talked about his damn family and his rich neighbors, and constantly lost test papers. He also would give very infair tests! Do not take this class.
I never had hate for someone like I had hate for this professor! He didn't show up for our theory final nor did he check our final projects! I've never had such discust before!
Try not to take him unless ur ready to teach yourself and still fail. Here's an idea buddy, give us a test on stuff we actually learned. oh wait! we never learn anything because all he talks about is things that have NOTHING to do with soc. of the family.
He is one of the worst--hands down. He was convinced that we were all going to die of the West Nile Virus. And how does that relate to Sociology of the Family?
very difficult. unorganized, did not TEACH anything. horrible grader. expects perfect in his essay assigment. hard final. VERY DIFFICULT. DO NOT TAKE HIM.
HORRIBLE teacher. Didn't learn a thing! He gives a writen opinion assignment and if you don't agree with the article, he serioulsy gives you an F on the paper, even though it is an opinion paper. He is very unorganized and just hard to try and talk to
worst teacher ever, he gave me the wrong test in class before and told me i altered my scantron and told me that was my grade. Found the test he gave me (the wrong one) and still got a D. He looks like cousin Balky from perfect strangers
hard to understand, boring class
you're only going to survive the class if you want to teach yourself. very hard to understand...boring teacher. lets just say I used up my three allowed absences by the second week. one of my worst teachers.

he sucks! he needs to get back on the boat to bombay! he's the only one who laughs at his jokes and his tests are hard. he has wicked ear hair! GOOO!!!
A lot of students dropped after the first day, because you can't understand him. His test are also really hard.
DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR! He is horrible. You cannot understand anything he says, and he doesnt teach things related to the class. His tests are very hard. All he does is laugh at his own jokes. Hes a terrible grader too.
He is a very intelligent man and I enjoyed most of his lectures. He tries to make jokes and make the subject fun but he wasn't always successful. The in class assignments helped my grade a lot but the tests were pretty hard. He curves a lot which helped.
This guy is ridiculous. His tests are barely from his lectures, all from the book. He grades unfairly and his assignments and not explained clearly. Worst professor I've had. Drop this class immediately.
He hardley lectured and filled many classes with not related material. He was a very frustrating professor. I would not take one of his courses agian.
Although he tends to get on tangens in his lecture, I feel he is a very knowing and helpful professor. He has an odd sense of humor that I always laugh at. For intro Sociology, Dr. DeSousa is a good professor.
very difficult to understand which makes it hard to pay attention in class. tests are hard and never about the lectures discussed in class.
Ok, his intentions are good, but the material is Ridiculously difficult! the tests are insane. You can go talk to him, and he will definately help you out. He is very inteligent, and sometimes believes that everyone else is just as smart
what a class...so incredibly hard. he moves quickly and doesnt cover what you need to know for the tests. His tests are impossible. Dont take him if you dont have to!
I graduated with a 3.9 Guess where the B came from? Memorize the damn book...sentence by sentence.
Never ever ever take this class. He's a good guy but teaches a lot of nothing. While his tests consist of everything. The whole school sucks, just like this teacher!
I actually enjoyed his class. I didn't do as well as I wanted but thats because I slacked off. He talks alot of**** thats actually really funny. He has good intentions and was s fun teacher.
very nice guy, very funny. while he lectured, he was very unclear as to what was class material and what were his random thoughts. i didn't study or pay attention and i got a C.
The main reason the class is so hard is because its EXTREMELY difficult to understand him. The tests require you to actually read the book, even the material we don't learn in class. For a three hour class, its very long but u only have to deal with it once a week.
I hate to dog this guy because he is really nice but he is ALL over the place. His lectures do not really help with your test. THE GOOD THING about him if you are willing to do extra credit there is a lot of opportunities. It is hard to understand him at times and forget about getting out of class early. If and when you do leave early he doesn'
Professor was nice but very hard to understand. Hardly ever let class out early.Tests were only from textbook material, so no need to take notes in class. When given a paper to write, just agree with whatever the author is talking about. If you don't you will probably have to rewrite the paper
Very thick accent. Difficult to understand. Helpful if you ask. Flexible with deadlines. Not too difficult of a grader.
It's the beginning of the semester & already I want to drop it this class. Lecs are so boring & serve little to no purpose. I took a 15min "intermission break" in his 50min class yesterday. Who cares about the History of Work anyway? I know I don't...I learned all that crap back in MCCC. There's no way in hell I'm sitting thru that s**t again!!
Instant amnesia walking into this class. I swear he breathes sleeping gas.
I deliberately arrive 15min late b/c his lecs consist of no relevant info on exams. He needs to make the course material more interesting when he lectures. Also, he should not go off on tangent during lectures. That's how students get bored fast. When you see 1 of them start counting ceiling tiles, you know you must change your lecture style...
Here's some great advice for free: BRING A PILLOW! This guy does not know how make the course material interesting. It's only 1/2way thru this semester and I have already found myself either showing up 15min into the lec or counting ceiling light squares. (see room OLD202) IF you can, don't take this guy's course(s).
[Looks around in room 202 in old Library during Desousa's lecture and realizes there's nothing interesting to do or listen to] Okay....where can I hang myself????
Somebody pls shoot me. Desousa's lecs are sooo boring. So boring that I try to think of new ways to escape from class. Tried everything: disappeared for other half of period, showed up late, etc. Has a whacked grading system:all decimal pts. Can't he round off a 79.8%? It's an 80%! Oh, btw Desousa: None of us read the book cuz we have no time!
Most of the other responses are very overdramatic, he's really not bad. If you show any interest at all in the material he teaches he will help you a lot. He puts lots of corny jokes into his lectures which although dumb keep you somewhat paying attention. Also, he tends to not lecture all that much after the first few weeks. Recommended.
It's hard to appear interested in any of this guy's lectures. 1 outta the 3 classes (if it's on a MWF) have nothing to do with the course material...AT ALL. He is a complete windbag & doesn't know how to make the subject material interesting. Stutters a lot. Goes off tangent. I can't wait til this semester's over!
I sooo want to drop this class...but I can't. For SOME reason, it counts as a business elective. This prof is a complete ass****. Last week, he gave a 3-pg quiz on a MONDAY. No notice the week b4 whatsoever. Half the class flunked as a result. His mission: make us fail. I have learned nothing at all in this class. Complete waste of a semester...
He's a horrible teacher. He has no notes on blackboard puts no notes up in class all he does is lecture and i have him for a 3hr class. He's rude and very closed minded. He always words his test questions weird.oh and not to be mean but he has a very strong indian accent and i never know what the hell he is saying...therefore don't take him!!!
Hate this Prof. Hate his boring lecs. Hate having to take this course....Haven't learned anything and it's almost the end of the semester. May he rot in hell for all eternity!
This prof is the most disorganized, lazy and close minded individual I have ever encountered. He rarely returns students' work and last semester, He forgot to give his SOC343 class the exam outline. Instead decides to give 10 Qs two days before final. I have told all of my advisors not to recommend you for this course, or any other you're teaching.
he did not teach at all. he gives tests on over two hundred pages of information. does not give reviews for anything! his tests are impossible! you will barely be able to understand a word he is saying because of his accent. too sarchastic. half of my class dropped out before half way through the semester.
As a grad from WCU, I can now say that his SOC343 course was a complete waste of time! I recall lecs in which he rambled on endlessly about nothing for 50min. Classes became so boring that I decided to take INTERMISSION brakes & visit my advisors just to shoot the breeze. That was fun:) I told all 3 of them not to recommend this guy for anything.
Dr. DeSousa is a flaming liberal so be prepared to listen to his political views every week. He seems like a nice man but his lectures rarely pertain to the material in the book. He gets off topic very easily, and always on the dumbest subjects. Be prepared to read alot. Take lots of notes and STUDY if you want a good grade.
Rude....He is rude, I learned nothing from his classes, and feel as though when most of the class is failing exams...something has to give, it cant all be the students faults. Be prepared to listen to him rant and rave about his views on the world, and not be concerned of yours...wish I had never had him, very dissapointed.
Learned nothing from him: I would've wrote a letter of complaint to the head of the SOC dept. Desousa has very poor teaching methods and his lectures lack structure. He's rude toward students & goes off on tangents during Lecs. I took intermission breaks to avoid him during my 50min lec. I told my advisor not to recommend him 4 anything or anyone.
How would u feel if u were assigned a chapter to read during one lec. U get assigned 4 more chapters to read during the next lec. Then, w/o any notice, Desousa will say "ok. Time for a quiz." and it ends up covering all chapters. Yeah, not fair. The ass did it on a monday to my class...oh, btw: 3/4 of the class failed that quiz... I wonder why.
He's nuts! A quiz is not supposed to be 5 pages long!! Let me clear this up for u Desousa: A standard quiz should be composed of no more than 20 questions. If it's more, than it is considered to be a test. If you doubt me, a former student of yours, voice your complaint to the head of the SOC department.
His accent takes some getting used to... but he's funny.
Such an interesting and cultured guy, I recommend the class just for the simple entertainment value of his "off-topic" lectures. Class does require studying of the text before multiple-choice tests. Not necessarily an easy "A" but is interesting, nonetheless.
If there were a course based solely on nothing…absolutely nothing…like NOT 101, then this guy would be teaching it. In every course he teaches at WCU, they are all centered around NOTHING-as are his exams.
Ok, so he's basically impossible to understand and you won't learn much, but I sleep through every class or just write down my name and leave, and I have an A. How? His tests are completely, 100% based off the book material. Pretty easy GPA booster if you ask me.
He is really hard to understand because of his accent, but over all he is very funny and nice. He reads straight from the text when he is teaching. Tests are kind of hard, he uses a lot of double negatives and the questions don't always make sense.
Nice teacher...but you get three test. All the test come directly from the text book. You must read the chapters to pass test b/c his lectures do not match with the test at all! Project at end is easy and every one gets 100% don't stress it. No homework or extra credit...all tests!!
Class is easy.. he speeds through notes way to quickly, alot of class discussions, watch great documentaries.
I don't know why everyone is complaining about him. He is so awesome. Smart and entertaining! The tests were a breeeeeeeeeeeeeeze
The class is very easy, though he makes it hard. He is a brute and a liar! Also, he is not approachable! If you have any questions talk to your classmate not him! He will either lie to you or yell at you and belittle you!
He is good but he is unorganized. make sure he is keeping up with your grades correctly.
One of the worst teachers West Chester has on its campus. I had a 95 average on tests and would have had a C- because he thought I did none of the assignments, which I had done. Horribly boring, I still know literally nothing about sociology and taught myself the night before. Keep your assignments on record or else he might screw you at the end.
awful professor. teaches based on his opinion (which is entirely different from the text). not helpful at all...would strongly recommend staying away from this class!!!!
He was extremely hard to understand. Went through notes WAY too fast. He laughs out of nervousness and you better read the book because when taking notes you can get 3 words down before he changes the slide. Make sure you read, do the study guides in order to pass this course. Good clas, just make sure you read. READ!! Lots of politcial debates
WORST PROFESSOR EVER!!! Horrible tests, horrible group assignments that are just busy work, he grades horribly, and god forbid you miss one class! DO NOT TAKE ANY OF HIS CLASSES!!!!!!!!!
He's a good guy and one of the fairest individuals I've met. A bit difficult to understand but very intelligent. He will also help you out if you see him privately. Grades very fairly and gives you a lot of extra credit opportunities. The class is difficult but the topic is interesting and worth your time. I feel like I actually learned something.
Painfully boring class. He DOESN'T want you to take notes, just LISTEN to him lecture. It's torture. But tests were pretty easy as long as your read the chapters. A lot of group work and random assignments.
He is a good teacher and is very intelligent. All these bad reviews are probably from people who didn't try in his class. You need to put out effort but if you see him privately, he knows that you care and will be helpful and nice.
This class was really interesting. Dr. DeSousa is really nice to all his students and even invited us to his house for dinner. I had fun taking this class and I learned a lot about India!!
I don't understand why DeSousa gets bad reviews. Sure, the readings in the class were hard but the tests and quizzes were not difficult at all. He even gives you a study guide to help you prepare. If you see him privately he is more than helpful.
DeSousa is an awful professor. He does not teach. He lectures about pointless information and gives little to no help on tests and group work. I figured I'd take his class because I needed Sociology as a gen ed but he treats it like a higher level course. It's ridiculous. Interesting to listen to, but horrible professor. DO NOT TAKE HIM.
Tangents, opinionated, inelligent, tough on essay grading, too much unnecessary busy work, funny.
Took this course out of interest in relation to my major and both of my minors. Very, VERY interesting class and man. Showed excellent documentaries, and introduced me to MOOCs, which has helped broadened my academic horizons. Knows what he's talking about, and I learned SO MUCH. Would definitely take him again.
He's not very helpful. Rambles about nothing quite a bit and skips around in the syllabus, then gets angry when people lose track of the ready. The subject matter can be interesting however his talking in circles takes away from the class.
Guy is really a nut. Test questions are confusing and opinionated. He's awkward as ever and rude.
Probably the worst class I have ever taken. The guy does not teach. He goes on about stories about nothing. Does not help you understand any of the readings. Gives no reason on the grades he gives you. DON"T TAKE THIS CLASS!!
Don't ever take his class. He grades super hard and doesn't teach. You can barley understand him and he puts the grades up right before the final. You will receive and unexpectedly low grade even though you worked hard. He doesn't budge on anything when you go to office hours. All around terrible professor and person.
If you are stuck with this imbecile of a teacher then you have to switch or drop immediately. As the other 240's stated below me, he rambles on about nothing and tests are weird because you take them and feel like you got an A, but you get them back to see an F. Can't understand a word he says because it never is English. Worst. Teacher. Ever.
Do not take this class. He is very opinionated and gives both sides of something without telling you which side is correct, so the multiple choice tests consisting of "all of the above," "none of the above," and "A and B" are ridiculous. The only way to pass them is to think about what he wants you to answer. I didn't learn at all.
I don't understand all of the negative comments about him. He's one of the most kind and smart professors here. He may "ramble", but its not rambling because it's in context with the point he's making. He is one of those professors who tells it like it is and is very enlightening. If you need help he's very willing because he loves what he does.
Awful teacher. Very critical of everyone. Makes quick judgements about everyone. Can be offensive. Hard to understand material. Does not offer good help. Tests are very confusing and he tries to make you think the wrong way about the questions. Does not teach the material well. Rarely even teaches, more so just laughs at himself the whole class.
Awful professor. Never take him. He's literally so bad. I promise. Trust me.
THE WORST. Loves to talk about himself, he thinks he's amazing. He's not.. Our SOC of the family classes consisted of our groups getting together and literally reading out loud to the class straight from the book (that he wrote and made a prophet on each sale btw) His test were ridiculous and awful.
I actually enjoyed this class a lot but it was very difficult. I think he is very funny but gets off topic a lot. You need to do the readings off the syllabus or you will fail and also take notes on his power points on the readings. The tests don't count for much of the grade its like 10% and there are three so Family Tree 30% is VERY important!
No help what so ever and I dreaded going to his class each day. He uses most of class time trying to make jokes. Everything he says is irrelevant.
He is no help whatsoever. Discussions in class are irrelevant to test questions. Gives you practice tests but does not give you answers or does not give you the answer if you ask him for further direction. I strongly suggest that you do not take this class.
If you have the option of taking a class with this professor, turn around and run. He is by far the worst professor I have ever had. He spends his lectures making jokes that only he thinks is funny, not very clear on what the actual material is. I studied more than I ever had for him and it didn't help anything. Just don't bother, you will hate it.
Awful professor. Lectures drag on and don't make any sense. I felt like we never talked about what we were supposed to have read. If you have common sense, you'll pass the class. Don't expect a good grade. Will never take this professor again.
Tests are hard but if you've actually read the material and the notes you'll be okay. Don't bother taking notes, he posts detailed powerpoints for every chapter. You don't have to attend class, just don't skip too many or you'll lose points. There's extra credit since everyone did badly, and he'll clarify if you ask. Confusing, but a nice guy.
Dr. Desousa is certainly not an easy professor. He is serious about attendance, and while there is no note taking, coming to class is important. If you're willing to put in the hard work, you'll pass easily. Make sure to read the essays before each test. The family tree is extremely important too, make sure to give yourself a lot of time to do it.
While he is a nice guy, his lectures do not reflect the material you're supposed to go over. If you read you may understand what is going on but if you get behind on your reading you'll be lost. He does provide useful study tools on a website but don't expect reviews or help from him directly. He takes his intro course seriously.
He was the worst. Heavy on attendance but lectures don't make sense and it's pointless to go. I studied exactly how he told us how to and get 70s. Assigns group projects along with assigning your groups. Awful professor who won't curve a test even though the whole class failed. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Spent most of the time talking about how evil America was and how great it was in India. Why did he move here then? Apparently got a 60% on group mini projects that we complete each week because I was absent a total of 2 classes ? Doesn't like when you leave to use the restroom. He makes openly deragotory remarks about race. How is he still there?
Professor DeSousa is a horrible professor. Lectures are terrible, does not prepare you for the tests, test guide are not even similar to the actual tests. The least he could do for my class (which half were failing and he curved every test) was give us extra credit opportunities.
Dr. DeSousa is a nice man, but his class is definitely difficult. I ended up with a good grade because I put numerous hours into outlining chapters and endless hours on my family tree. Definitely work hard on the tree, it is a large part of your grade. He offers extra credit, you'll need it. That being said I enjoyed his class, I liked Dr. D a lot.
I attended his office hours when I was doing poorly on tests due to the fact I didn't know what to study. So I asked what he suggested I should study and he told me to not worry about what he talks about in class. He would give out a practice test which was a few questions from the actual exam and I couldn't find the answers in the notes or text.
DONT TAKE HIM! He awkwardly laughs at himself all class. He just reads off a powerpoint and goes through them so fast you cant write it down fast enough. His tests are weird and make you think you did good but get it back and you did bad, they are all multiple choice. Avoid him at all costs. Dont bother getting the book
Read and Review Yourself. Thats it. Easy A. Most of us spent our time online instead of listening.
Very sweet, caring man. Has a strong indian accent but you get used to it quickly. I think he genuinely cares about what he teaches, and the sociology class itself is not hard whatsoever if you study for tests.
Hardest class I've ever taken. Did so horrible on the first 2 tests because he doesn't teach. Don't even bother reading the book, just do practice tests and go over his slides, but always go to class he always takes attendance and sometimes there is in class group work. Do not take this class. He does offer extra credit though, you'll need it.
I would not recommend this class. There are very few grades, and it is almost impossible to bring your grade up after not doing so well on a test. Class is pointless everyday and it is very tempting to skip, but attendance is taken daily for a participation grade. Some students are able to excel in this class, but most students do not.
His lectures are kind of dry so it was hard to pay attention at times. He does take attendance. Having the textbook really helped to outline his chapters though it wasnt necessary for everyone. Take his practice tests on D2L to help study for his tests
Big projects
He is a fine professor, I struggled with his accent and found his lectures to be seriously hard to pay attention to. With papers and projects, a lot of the students think he just gave a grade rather than reading what we were doing. The grades wouldn't make sense for the amount of work put in. As long as you study the study guide and make notecards!
Overall, not a good professor for a class that should be an easy gen ed. Forces you to work on group projects and everyone suffers if he assigns you a group of people who are lazy. Tests are sort of hard and so random, and his lectures are never helpful.
this dude should not be a professor he never answers his emails no matter the urgency and one test really dictates your whole semester. did bad on his first test and got B's on all the rest and still somehow failed. awful do not take this guy
His lectures are incredibly boring and pointless since most of the exam questions come out of nowhere or from the textbook. Gets off topic a lot. He will call you out for being on your phone or even for taking notes on a computer. I put so much time into the family tree and still got a B-. Avoid this class if you can!
Dr. Desousa is really unclear and inconsistent with how he grades. On the rare occasion when he does give feedback, it's weeks later and you've already turned in a few more assignments the same way. On some assignments, he expects more than he includes in the instructions and takes off points for that. Class is mostly group work instead of lecture
Graded off a spin wheel. Wouldn't explain the grades received and doesn't care why you miss a class he will not allow you to make up the assignment you missed.
he was a terrible professor, does not care about his students success. he graded hard with unclear reviews and instructions. he never answered emails and was unwilling to answer students questions.
was the worst professor that I've ever had, made me reconsider life every time I was in this class. It also doesn't help that you cant understand him at all.
I will never take this teacher again. You can tell that he just has no interest in the wellbeing and success of his students; his tests are on subjects that were never discussed in class, he's basically unreachable outside of class, and he constantly makes unfunny jokes in front of the classroom. His class gets a 0/10 from me dawg
DO NOT take this professor. I had all As in all of my classes and a D in his class because he does not teach what is on the exams at all. He does not care about student success. He put multiple wrong answers on the first exam and when students asked when he was going to fix it he said Ill get to it, and never did. The class average was a 66%.
If you don't have to take this class, DON'T. If you do, good luck. His lectures are pretty much useless, but at the same time, you need to show up for class. All of the tests are based off of the readings in the chapter. DO NOT depend on the powerpoint for studying. He doesn't help when you email him, and he doesn't give explanations for anything.
Great professor, had him for FYE.
Desousa is extremely disrespectful to his students and often make them question their answers or opinions. He says racist/sexist comments and often makes the class uncomfortable. He has very few assignments and often test grades are what make you or break you. During group presentations he is disrespectful and interrupts people while presenting.
Dickhead
Had to take him for FYE. worst prof ever! He is egotistical and stuck up. Whenever someone answers a question he publicly humiliates them and bashes their efforts. He will give you a zero for attendance if you use the bathroom so go before class. He makes me and everyone in the class uncomfortable. DON'T TAKE HIS CLASS unless it's mandatory.
Not accessible, cannot contact by email, singles out students with questions even if they have no answer and then will correct them trying to prove a point in front of the class, will give 0 on group projects without explaining what was wrong. Exams can be taken all on Quizlet though so that's the only benefit. Overall very boring, not worth taking
This is the worst class I've taken at WCU. No clear grading guidelines, no feedback, and takes weeks to even grade a test. He can be condescending to students and in no way cares about their success. We are going into the final having 2 grades in D2L, and the other assignments he didn't grade we'll likely never see/recieve feedback.
Absolutely awful experience with this Professor. Avoid him at all costs if you are thinking about dropping his course do it. Even if you are a good student this was a nightmare for a gen ed class. It wasn't crazy hard but test questions are subjective and he is stubborn and unpleasant to deal with.
dude straight up blows. bad person. thats really it. you can see what kind of guy he is by these reviews.
He rambles A LOT and lectures are boring
attendance is mandatory. a lot of his quiz questions come out of nowhere and leaves the class with a low average. he often picks on students and goes on political rants which gets uncomfortable. he scolds guys for being late but often excuses the girls
Avoid this professor at all costs. Lectures are useless, tests are unfair, and he is completely inaccessible. unstuckstudy might be helpful for studying, but this class is still a nightmare.
I had him for SOC 240/ Sociology of the family in Fall 2024. I was initially terrified looking at the reviews here, but he's actually a cool guy and his class was my favorite. If you're looking for a class to actually learn about recent events and the sociology aspect of it, I had a great experience.
Sure, he's not the best, but as long as you show some interest in the class you'll be fine. He rambles a lot, though -- easy to get him off topic if it's something he thinks is worth talking about. If reading a textbook is too hard for you, you should probably take a different class.
Let me start off by saying, the course overall wasn't horrible. But one, antagonizing students into cold calling and pressuring them to force answers out of them is just plain wrong. Test questions don't make sense, too many tests, attempted to give us a “pop quiz” and never gave it to us. Moves too fast. Very unorganized.
He has an accent that can be hard to understand. He also isn't a good professor. He goes over the lecture slides very fast and gets off topic, and talks about content that is not related to what we are learning. He also usually gives practice tests, but he didn't post it for one test because it was "pathetic and embarrassing"
You show up to class, you listen to what he says, and he tests you on it. Everything else is admissible; you just don't like his mannerisms. He provides real-life examples of concepts (good and bad), and I guess some people are too slow to realize he is talking about something, not spouting off his personal opinions.
boring , wouldn't take again
Do not take this professor's class. f you do get him, try and drop or switch. Does not answer emails, lectures are useless for studying for the test, and attendance is mandatory. Test questions are nothing like what you learn.
