Professor Reed goes above and beyond wanting her students to succeed. She gives such good feedback to help you improve your work and knowledge, and is willing to work around your schedule as long as you show effort. She communicates very well, is super understanding, and offers extra credit opportunities. I strongly suggest taking her course.

I loved her class, she goes above and beyond to help her students out. Just follow the rubric on discussion boards and remember that the min word count is 300. Her class is easy if you follow the rubric. If you need help she will happily assist you, just ASK for help.

Overall, this professor is super sweet and all her assignments are doable but take time. There's one assignment every 2 weeks. However, make sure you read the rubrics because if you don't follow them, you will lose points. If you do lose points, she allows you to correct it and gain the points back.

She is a very tough grader. I never got an 100% on her assignments besides tests. She provides very good feedback and is available most of the time. She gives enough time to complete assignments but they drain you.

Professor was tough for Sociology for a semester. Her pros would be that she provides positive feedback although it seems like the same message every-time. The professors cons would be the grading, I felt I was following the rubric fully and the professor would constantly give an absurd grade almost as if I did absolutely no work on the assignment.

i enjoyed this class a lot! the work can be time consuming, but it is pretty easy & the content is interesting. the only assignments are 2 exams & a discussion post every 2 weeks. she also offers easy extra credit. grading can be a little delayed, but she responds very quickly if you need help. just follow the rubric and you'll be fine!

She was a great teacher, allowed you to resubmit assignments for re-grading and offered a good amount of extra credit. I took her in-person class and she is a very sweet lady who you can tell is passionate about sociology

The class itself is incredibly easy & independent when it comes to study, be prepared to research and read on your own. Time consuming but not hard. Very harsh grading that does not exactly follow the rubric provided, but she will give you the opportunity to resubmit and have re-graded for full credit. 2 opportunities for 30 pts extra credit

Professor Reed's class isn't hard if you follow the grading rubric. She offers opportunities to improve your grade by allowing corrections on assignments. I find her assignments to be clear and easy to understand. If you need help don't hesitate to reach out to her. She cares about her students, and I would definitely take her class again.

I will say that I didn't really learn anything in this class. I'm ok with that since I needed to check it off a list. It was disappointing, and it's almost a joke that this class can be offered for credit at a college level. I'm not one to crap on profs, but she really doesn't do anything. If you want to learn, take someone else.

The only assignments are discussion posts, every 2 weeks. They are essay style and usually have a requirement of 400 words minimum. Along with your discussion post, two replies to peers were required for full points. Follow all of the discussion requirements to a T and show that you've read/watched the lecture material, and you'll do ok.

She was... ok. Took the fast class. This class is easy, so much so that I ignored the material until the essays were due every week, did the work within an hour of due date, and got an A. She is tough with grading writing but wants you to succeed and will work with you to help you meet grading criteria if you do poorly. Tests & quizzes are easy.

I took the fast-track course with 7 assignments (Discussions), 2 tests, and 2 extra credit assignments. She's really big on citations and you have to make it CLEAR that you watched all the videos and textbook readings. (I didn't watch or read all). The class was generally very easy just annoying. She lets you resubmit for higher grades.

The class was super easy but empty of true academic and intellectual content. Easy "A" but both the courses and the professor were lacking in depth and understanding of human nature and modern societies. It's no wonder colleges are not as respected as before...
