she doesnt explain the material and doesnt help if you dont understand something. her exams are very tricky, i dont recommend her

Took her many summers ago when she was pregnant. Very helpful.Goes over everything,including HW. Had students put questions on board at start of each class.I recommend her.Very supportive,and approachable.I aced the class and learned alot,and math is not my major.Got her to accessories. She's Nice

all of the bad reviews are right. it describes exactly how she is. those 2 or 3 good reviews she probably wrote herself. bad teacher.

She sucks guys. Eventhough i got good work because i knew most of stuff already she was teaching. But what i am concern about is rest of class because they seem like cursing her after every class. I hope she improves herself and help students to learn math rather about herlself.

This teacher was the worst professor I have ever come across. She speeds through all the material and is VERY unclear. If you need her help, she is useless. She says you can stay after class but once you tell her the problem she expects you to figure it out on your own. I eventually had to drop her class because there was no way I was passing!

i agree with those who said talks about personal life to much she even brought pictures to class and i still dont understand the math this math is suppose to be basic well bascially she sucks

Run don't take her. All she talks about is her life. Go over the material too fast. The class started with about 15 students and only 6 stayed until the end. Everyone dropped the course.

Do not take her, I repeat DO NOT TAKE HER!! She's horrible! She doesn't know how to teach. She copies straight from the textbook when teaching, doesn't give you a test review, gives you pop-quizzes and they count towards your overall gpa, checks hw and doesn't care if you do not understand a thing -- which you won't unless your a mathematician.

Stay away. She's a nightmare! Doesn't matter how hard u try, it won't help your grade. You'll learn more about her silly family life than math. She can't teach at all! Checks all HW, gives pop quizzes which count towards your final grade & doesn't give a review for tests. Also keep in mind her test are 10-12 pages long w/ 4-8 questions on each page

She is just a waste of time and money. You're better off taking someone else instead.

Stay away, she is awful! I took her for calculus and you will learn more about her prodigy son than you will about derivatives. Plus she did not curve grades and I had to take this course again because I did not learn anything!

Absolutely TERRIBLE Professor! She made an easy class troublesome by taking off points for some very dumb things! Avoid her AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!

HORRIBLE! Doesn't care. Doesn't matter how hard you try. Avoid this professor. She talks to the class like you're a bunch of children. Speaks in a little girl voice Pretends she's nice but doesn't teach. Expect to teach yourself math. Flies thru the problems to show off her skills. Can't teach. Won't explain. You'll learn more in Math Lab.

She went off on random tangents about her personal life, had horrible handwriting, and everyone left more confused then when they came in. She also assigned a lot of homework but due to her incomprehensible lectures you basically have to self-study for everything and its very easy to fall behind. Dont recommend, its more trouble than its worth.

We moved course online and she's the only professor I have that uses google meet. You can barely tell what she's writing on the notebook. Textbook is expensive. You have to self studying everything if you want to pass. Harsh grader. DO NOT TAKE HER!!

Gives us about 100+ math questions per week, requires us showing work and treats her class as if we dont have any other courses. Would not recommend at all, a complete waste of time and an extreme amount of busy work

The worst math professor I've taken. She assigns an insane amount of hw (100+ problems a week sometimes to do by the next class 2 days later). Her lectures are mandatory but the biggest waste of time, she goes over very basic math, rather than the work she assigns and goes on rants that get her very off-topic. Her grading criteria is very unclear.

Literally the worst class i have ever taken. Please do me a favor and dont enroll here unless you want to get cs for great work and eventually have to withdraw. She expects all work shown and over 100 math questions each class that she may or not may grade!

Dont even bother with this class, shes nice as a person but i dislike her as a prof. Gives hella hw doesnt help cause she barely teaches, basically taught myself all semester. Forces you to turn on your cams and if not will take off points of which QC apparently isnt legally allowed to enforce but she does it anyways....

Do not take this class if you have a life. She will assign hundreds of questions every lecture and chooses when she wants to grade the work or not. Lectures are mandatory but you gain absolutely NOTHING from them. She loves to go off topic and ramble about useless information no one cares about. Would never recommend her to anyone!

The worst professor I've ever had. If you don't do problems her way, then you're wrong. She gives so much homework, which is completely unnecessary. It's like she doesn't care if you have other classes. She goes off topic quite a bit. Participation matters a lot. I got 100 on all her assignments but didn't participate, and my grade dropped a lot.

Absolutely worst class and professor ever. She gives so much homework in both textbook ($80 book) and online. She has both online AND oral midterms/finals/quizzes. She was extremely rude. Could barely see her notes and barely explains, you'll have to teach yourself. Participation also matters. Don't recommend her at all.

if you thought you would find a class where your time and money was well spent, try again and invest yourself elsewhere. Had to drop this class to protect my 4.0 gpa :/ All i got from this class was more frequent sessions with my therapist.

Literally the NASTIEST dare i even say professor Ive ever seen. Classes felt like a Walmart version of remedial high school classes.

This class made me feel so uncomfy and just didn't provide me with a healthy learning environment despite the circumstances of online learning admits the pandemic.

She gives multiple sections of homework from the textbook just for one night in addition to online homework I pay attention in class and go to every lecture I do not find the work to be that difficult however the workload is draining. Cameras must be on for class and exam. asks for id for exam. oral exams as well and the semester just started :(

too much hw (daily + weekly long 30-50 long question webassigns). Very time consuming class..i got other classes helloooo. also camera on tests + oral exam cause "cheating". made me feel uneasy so i had to drop.

We really did not like her at all bc she is so rude and not understanding at all. Also she gives immense amount of hw which kept us away from studying other courses. We asked her to go easy on the hw and she said no. She is very inconsiderate. Also a very tough grader. You do well on exams and hw but still wont get good grades.

she gives way to much hw and dont check half the time. Rushes thru material. Takes off points for any little thing. Dont check things the correct way . She cant explain why my grade is a C+ but I have a 89 on the midterm and a 91 on the final . A 80 and 88 on Both oral. IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR GPA DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. I CANNOT BE MORE SERIOUS.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. i'm a senior and I have yet to meet a math professor who does oral exams & will fail you for hesitating even a little bit during the oral exam bc she thinks you are cheating. I had an A before the final & after the oral exam, she decided to not give me a grade & to this day i have yet to recieve it bc she assumes i cheated

DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR, insane amount of HW, unfair test grading, and one of the worst and most awkward classroom environments I’ve ever experienced.

Worst Professor ever. She assigns massive amounts of homework that is impossible to do if you're enrolled in 3 or more other classes. She doesn't teach or lecture at all! All she does is ask if anyone has any questions about the homework, and then she completes them silently without going over any of the steps thoroughly for us to understand.

She goes too fast, the only way that you would do well in her class is if you already know the material. She's worried about completing the curriculum rather than teaching the material. She has a limited amount of compassion so don't look to her for help or leniency if you have personal issues.

I remember taking her during the pandemic. Assigned well over 60 problems per week and didn't even go over how to do half of them. Had to rely on youtube to understand the material. Genuinely wouldn't recommend anyone taking her. Even if you're extremely passionate about math, this hag will make you hate it.

Save yourself the trouble of wasting your time with this trash teacher. Gives a lot of hw and is a harsh grader, you can get a way better grade with a better teacher.

The worst professor I ever had. She is not compassionate. She's a tough grader and assigns lengthy assignments every week. She speeds through the problems during class and doesn't give you a chance to grasp the info. She requires cameras on which is fine, but will knock off participation points if you turn it off. Random attendance checks. Terrible

Acts like this is your only class in the semester with tons of homework, 80 problems (lowballing) average per week. Little to no instruction given in class for the covered topics, so you will have to teach yourself majority of the material and practice for hours. Save your GPA and just take someone else's class next semester.

She assigns a great deal of homework, both online and in person. Don't bother emailing her since you'll never hear back. I recall she told us once that many of the people in her class were failing, and she advised us to drop out since it would harm our gpa, before adding that it was our option. I recommend that you take another instructor.

Most of the work that is given is not even on the test. The tests are very long. Handwriting is hard to read in class. She doesn't encourage the students when they are at a failing grade she recommends you drop the class instead and seems proud when she has people dropping her class. Save yourself from unnecessary stress.

Just terrible a terrible person. So inhumane she is a terrible a person. How come QC has someone like her as a person. She should not be teaching in general.

She doesn't know how to teach. She rushes through the criteria and then gives us an exam a few weeks later. She doesn't do math problems step by step and is very disorganized. She doesn't use Brightspace which means we don't know our grade and we don't know our progress in class. I would not recommend...

She is a difficult professor. Very crazy about the cheating part which I get. But her lectures make absolutely no sense, she gives terrible examples. Avoid her at all cost. Her homeworks are long, you basically have to teach yourself the content. And don't get me started on how she expects you to explain every single thing step by step on the exam.

Most of the students failed the class. It seems like she enjoys falling her students. When you try to look for her in office hours she would tell you to ask one of you classmates and have a very attitude like if you were bothering her. From what I know a teacher's job is to educate, I don't find this teacher very excited to educate.

avoid her, She uses Discord to give assignments, ALL SHE DOES IS EAT DURING CLASS AND NEVER TEACHES ANYTHING. She isn't organized. She doesn't remember to post the homework assignments. Many days she would post them the DAY WHEN IT IS DUE!! She blames her mistakes on the department. Quiz every week, and a lot of homework. she doesnt TEACH ANYTHING!

Terrible Math Prof. Don't take if you want to save your grade

Very tough grader, and she even said so herself. Plus it feels like she's going nuts at times. Expects a lot out of you and assigns a lot of work, don't take her..

She can be really nice, if you show her you care. But at times she can have an attitude and be rude. She's a really tough grader and loves giving pop quizzes. If you take her, my advice is never miss class, that's the only reason I passed the class. Also, everything is assigned through discord so definitely not ideal.

I know this is a mandatory class but she was so horrible, all the exams are insanely hard, we are all international students and half of us have never seen algebra in this way, how are we supposed to learn all of this in 1 month? and i'm pretty sure she's racist cuz she keeps saying really weird stuff and then talking about her russian husband..

My experience in this class was disappointing. The professor rarely explains problems clearly or gives direct answers. She has mocked students' accents and said, “this is America,” which feels disrespectful. This created an uncomfortable environment and made learning difficult.
