Dr. Morucci was, by far, my favorite professor this semester. He's funny and genuinely enjoys teaching music. He links all the listenings for the quizes and goes over exams the day before you actually take it. This class is ridiculously hard to fail. If you go to class and pay attention, you're able to get an A in his class.

Honestly the easiest class you will ever take at UNR. All of the answers to any type of quiz or test is given to you in the previous lecture and his test are open note. It is also pretty cool to take Music Appreciation from someone who grew up in Italy. He takes attendance, but I doubt he actually checks the sheet.

I believe Dr. Morucci is a great instructor. He was passionate and willing to help students outside of class if they missed assignments or had personal issues . Although some students were rude and disruptive in class he always tried to maintain the class engaging and productive. For sure, one of the kindest and knowledgeable professor here at UNR.

My first time taking a music appreciation class, and I am glad I took it with him. He is very prepared, organized, and made the class fun.

Although this is a music history class and there are a lot of information given during lecture, it was so far one of the most interesting classes I have taken. Dr. Morucci will help you to succeed because he is a nice and gifted instructor.

I love Professors Morucci's class. He is very funny and entertaining. The class is also fun and easy. Many students usually leave after quiz, which I don't recommend because its disrespectful and he usually goes over important things after quiz. He responds quickly to e-mails, questions, etc. I recommend this class.

Dr Morucci is a caring teacher. I have never seen an instructor so helpful to students after class. He uses a lot of extra office hours to let students make up quizzes and exams. Thanks to his power point slides, I had easy access to the material and I have learned a lot about music history

Fabulous teacher! He is very knowledgeable and passionate about what he teaches. He really wants every single on of his students to succeed and he will do everything in his power to help them.

The professor is humorous and patient with such an overwhelmingly huge class. He is passionate and to me, the material is very interesting. I also like that students can directly interact with what they're learning by listening to music and apply their knowledge.

This class is by far the most easiest class ever. If you need your fine arts credit I highly recommend taking this class with this professor. Why? He will literally give you every answer to every test. Also, you will have 5 listening quizzes consisting of 10 questions each(5 are the composers and 5 are the song) He gives you a list of the songs!

I really enjoyed MUS 121 with Dr. Morucci. The lectures are very interesting and he is entertaining. The quizzes were easy and he gives a very thorough study guide before each test. He does't assign a textbook and there was only one essay. I would highly recommend taking him for your fine arts credit.

This was the easiest class that I've ever taken. The quizzes are really easy, and he gives us the answers to the study guide which are also the answers to the exams. Two of the exams were also done online. However, the lectures are really long and boring, but he does try to make it more interesting.

Morucci makes this class as easy at possibly can be. He GIVES you the answers to the exams. He is super nice and helpful and makes the class bearable. You honestly cant fail. He does take attendance though which i cant entirely blame. I personally show up just to show him that i appreciate the easiness of the class.

Professor Morucci is the EASIEST professor I have ever had! He gives you all the answers to the exams and quizzes, and they are extremely easy. No homework at all and he is super funny!There is one paper in the class and it was pretty easy. Final is online and he still gives you all the answers to it. ITS LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FAIL!

The easiest class I have taken yet. He gives all the answers to the tests and the listening quizzes are easy. The only downfall of the class is that attendance is mandatory. He is very nice and the lectures are easy to follow along.

Attendance is mandatory but if you only showed up on review days you could get a 100% in the class. His study guides are word for word the tests. The final is online and super easy. The only downer of the class is you have to go to a musical concert and write a paper on it and review it. Best way to get your fine arts credit.

Professor Morucci is one of my best professors this semester. He literally gives you the exam questions to study for the exam. The quizzes are super easy too. Take this class.

He's a very caring professor and he knows exactly what he's talking about. He's passionate about what he lectures on and he is very understanding. He made many dad jokes that made me laugh.

If you want an Easy A, then this is that class.

He basically gives you the answers to his tests on review days. Attendance is mandatory and if you miss more than three classes he drops your grade by 1/3 of a grade. Other than that he is a really cool and nice teacher.

Easiest A ever! He is very flexible regarding the test dates, and gives the answers to every test on review days. The listening quizzes were so easy, you can study 20 mins before class and get a 100%. He is funny so going to class isn't dreadful. I wish all my professors were like him.

Aside from this being the easiest class you could ever take, Morucci is a great professor. He loves what he does and it truly shows. He's hilarious too, first week of class he played Umbrella by Rihanna (and sang along). He gives you everything you need to know for the listening quizzes and midterm/final. Really hard to get anything below an A.

There's one concert review that's 2-3 pages. He's very passionate about what he does. The class is boring, but you don't have to take notes or pay attention just zone out for 30 minutes and you'll get through it. He gives all the answers on review day. It's hard to get below an A. No more than 3 absences allowed.

Morucci is a really great professor, he teaches the material well and he wants to teach the material which in my opinion, is important. I think this class may be a bit more difficult for those who have little to no experience or background with classical music as this class is classical music heavy for a while. Study for your listening quizzes!

Super easy class. Good GPA boost if you need it. He goes over every single question the class before the test. Even for the final. The listening quizzes are pretty easy if you study.

Dr. Morucci is a great educator and is very patient with the students. His teaching assistant is good (although is still training).

Very easy A. 5 listening quizzes total, where he plays a piece via YouTube and you match the song title with the composer. He posts all the notes online if you ever need them. Legit has the test in front of him when he reviews, and he goes over each question and answer.

Very clear grading criteria. 5 listening quizzes in which are very easy. 2 tests and one final. one test and final were online and the answers we go over in the class before. Valerio is one of the greatest music appreciation professors at UNR. He makes it very easy to pass and nearly impossible to fail. Your grade will be based off of 2 exams, 5 listening quizzes, 1 concert review, as well as a final. He will take attendance; however, the class is super easy. Class is usually let out 30 minutes early.

Professor Morucci is the easiest and best professor to take for Music Appreciation. He posts all of the lectures online and clearly underlines and bolds everything that will be on the exam. He also gives study guides as well as the answers for exams that are word for word what you will see. Listening quizzes and concert review are super easy too.

Professor Morucci is one of the best Music Appreciation teachers at UNR. He clearly states what will be on the tests and quizzes. It is a pretty easy class and there is not much work that needs to be done.

Dr. Morucci was hilarious and he was definitely an expert in his field. His class was a breeze and he makes it easy for students to earn A's. I didn't go to many of the lectures, but beware that he sometimes takes attendance. Also, check the syllabus regularly so that you're prepared for the quizzes and tests. Overalls an easy A!

He gives you every question for the tests in the review sessions. He does random attendance but it is meaningless. Most classes are over in 30 min

Professor Morucci is by far the easiest professor I have ever taken. Just make sure to stay updates on the listening quizes and when the tests are and you will be fine. His lectures do provide very good information on what is on the test

Easiest college professor ever. He gives you the exact answers for the tests before each ( first test, midterm, and final.) Be sure to keep all of the notes for each of these tests as it is your final. He is extremely funny and will make class fun. The class is an hour and 15 but we never really went over 20-35.

He's a very laid back professor. Despite his chillness, he is very knowledgeable in his area of expertise. He played Umbrella from Rihanna and he's a funny guy, good sense of humor. The tests and listening quizzes were fairly easy.

Easy class. Every exam he gives you the answers in a "review" session before. Quizzes are simple, you have to listen to 7 different musical performances and be able to differentiate them in class. Provides scantrons. Only thing is he does not allow any electronic devices in class. However, he let us out early all the time. Class was 45 min.

This class was so easy! The material wasn't a problem because Morucci gives you all the answers for the tests, so no note taking. Attendance is a grade, but classes lasted less than the allotted time. The best part of the class, however, was listening to him passionately talk about music - not to mention hearing his Italian accent! Definitely take!

This was a huge class (fall 2018). Dr Morucci is a highly regarded music historian. He was very patient with the students, some of whom were very disrespectful. The material was interesting to me (history of music).

This professor was amazing, it is a huge class but he makes it very easy to be in contact with him and replies to emails very quick. He has 3 exams but if you go to the reviews he gives all the answers. There are 5 listening quizzes 2 weeks apart and you get the songs for the entire semester. Look over songs once, you'll pass.

This class was great! His lectures are fun and interesting. There are five listening quizzes, but as long as you prepare, they will be easy. There are two exams and a final and he gives all the answers during the lecture before the exam. During lecture, it is unnecessary to take notes, just listen. There is also a concert review but it is not hard.

This was the easiest class I have ever taken. Online due to COVID, but the only assignment was to watch a video every other week or so. The videos went over our quizzes and tests step by step, so it was impossible to not get 100% on every assessment. Final paper was only 2-3 pages long and was all opinion based. Easy class if you need the credit.

SUPER easy class. He is a really nice professor. Basically just show up on the test and quiz days because he posts all the material in the files on Canvas. His study guides for the exams are literally the exact word for word answers and questions on the actual exam.

If you need to knock out a CO7, this is the class for you. No textbook required, a total of 5 quizzes, 3 exams (including the final), and a two-paged paper. The 5 quizzes are "listening quizzes" where you memorize a selection of music. It's not that bad. Exams come with a study guide that's just like the exam. All in all, a very chill class.

Prof. Morucci had longer lectures on the material, but he hid jokes and little comments throughout that made them enjoyable to sit through. There were 5 listening quizzes that were incredibly easy, 3 online exams that were based on study guides posted to canvas, and a listening review paper that was based either on a concert on campus or two songs

He's the go-to for music appreciation. Clear-cut class and teaches you something about music even if you really don't care to learn about it.

Take this as an easy elective. I did mine online and finished almost the whole semester of work in 2 weeks. Super easy grader and as long as you do the work you will get an A.

Class was very easy and straightforward for the online version. One essay with an exam/discussion on alternating weeks. Everything was easy and pre-recorded so there was no need to reach out to Morucci directly. Probably one of the easiest class I have ever taken at UNR.

Discussions, one short paper, a few quizzes, and three exams. Lectures are straightforward and he gives a rubric to study specifically for all exams. Very doable class and easily a GPA booster. He's funny and very smart. Take him if you can.

Morucci is understanding and cares about his students. He genuinely just wants everyone to succeed in his class. Assignments are organized and easy to follow. I found it pretty easy to stay on top of the assignments/quizzes in the class, as well. If I needed another elective credit, I would definitely take another music course with Morucci.

I took Dr. Morucci's class because it was online, and it's truly been easily accessible and made my schedule more flexible. Although it's an online class, he doesn't overload you with homework or lectures. It's one lecture and usually one assignment (quiz or discussion). Also, for semester exams he gives you a week to study and answers for them.

One of the easiest classes you could take at UNR. Lessons plans are very clearly explained for every week. Prerecorded lecture videos and exam rubrics. He gives you the exam & quiz questions and outlines beforehand. Discussions on lecture material. Quizzes on compositions. Exams on lecture material. Super easy class and available by email.

A truly great prof. Anytime I had a problem he was quick to email me back, and was truly helpful. His lectures are prerecorded and easy to follow. Only a few tests and he gives VERY clear guides for them. Overall, had a great experience and would highly recommend taking his class

Dr. Morucci's MUS 121 is a breeze. He makes it very easy to get an A as long as you put in the effort to study for the tests. Definitely take this class! He is wonderful!

If you find a way to fail MUS121, I will APPLAUD you. Dr. Morucci grades very easily, nothing is complicated, and mostly self-paced. I finished this course by the 5th week.

Dr. Moruccis online music class was the easiest and funnest class I have taken. I took it online but his pre-recorded lectures were interesting and short. Few quizzes on the weekly song pieces we talked about that week. 2 exams, one final, one paper at the end of the semester. He gave very specfic study guides and set you up for success.

TAKE THIS CLASS. Morucci's online lectures were super clear and fast. His study guide review videos were amazing and definitely set you up for success. A couple listening quizzes on different music genres, 3 test, 1 short paper. Very fun easy class.

I never really write reviews but this dude was awesome. I did his wintermester music appreciation class and I recommend him and his class to EVERYONE. I was traveling a lot and had some assignments late and he was very understanding and considerate! He was very consistent in reaching out to let us know what was due, and all the work was easy

He gave all test answers in the lectures so if you study the questions you will pass! Very kind proffessor that sends out reminders to get things done (which has saved me a few times).

Prof. Morucci has short, straight to the point lectures. Assignments: bi-weekly discussions and listening quizzes, three proctored exams, and a paper. He provides almost word for word study guides for all quizzes and exams, as long as you study them you will get an A on the quizzes/exams. Overall, fun informative course on music!

was the lightest class of my term. never more than 2 assignments per week. all exams had a video lecture discussing what would be on the exam and the answers, very helpful. def would recommend to fulfill your CO7 requirments.
