I loved taking ADJ-1 with Lt. Graham. He brings in many people that work in various departments of law enforcement field to speak about their job. He explains everything thoroughly and clearly. If you ever need extra help or have additional questions he makes himself available. He has a passion for teaching and cares about his students.

He has a lot guest speakers, if this is your career of choice (criminal Justice) then this is the class for you. He answers and gives you so much information. He is responsive with texts, but doesn't buy the lies if you're not going to class. So save the excuses.

I loved his taking ADJ-1 class. He was very informative and was very straight up. He was very understanding with it came to assignments because his goal is to have everyone pass. He does group work and makes you talk but its not as bad as it seems. I definitely learned a lot in this class and I would definitely take this professor again.

Professor Graham is very well equipped to teach the Introduction to the Administration of Justice (ADJ-1) This learning experience was a great one considering Graham not only taught us the use of APA style format but also its importance. He was always lenient when it came to tardiness and absences, because the main goal is to pass.

Lieutenant Graham is a respected member of law enforcement and a great professor, I would greatly recommend the class. He appreciates students using critical thinking skills, and having an open mind in class. Putting in work and keeping up with attendance will secure you with an A. Class is thankfully open to free speech and discourse.

This is my first semester at Riverside City college and I took him for Winter and was nervous but I have to say his class was really easy. All of your assignment/quizzes are done in groups. We did four papers in APA Format. Overall, his lectures are interesting and inspirational. I would recommend taking his class!

So far Professor Graham has been my best teacher, answers questions very quickly. Answers every question the best he can. Is always available for discussion. Accepts everyones opinion. Very open minded teaching. Lots of knowledge to pass down if asked. Actually cares about the students learning and lectures arent boring.

If you need to take an Criminal Justice class I do recommend you choose Professor Val Graham. He is a great lecture everything you will read off the textbook he will repeat in a better understanding form. He actually makes the topic interesting as well. I was hesitated on choosing this major but I'm glad I continued it. He's understandable as well.

This class is easy, but there's a lot of valuable information that can be learned by taking his class. I took it completely on my own time, and passed his class. It was fast paced since I took it for his winter semester online, but I got it all done. I would definitely take it again.

This Professor is amazing. All answers to quizzes can be found in textbook. All short answer questions. Discussions and quizzes usually once a week. Very understanding person. Ended class with over a hundred percent due to extra credit. Would definitely recommend taking.

I have taken Professor Graham 3 times now for 3 different Criminal Justice courses and I have passes every single class. His work is straightforward and as long as you complete the assignments and read the text, you will most likely pass. He gives helpful feedback on assignments and essays! He definitely cares about his students.

Professor Graham is a great teacher. His lectures were very entertaining and engaged his students with great feedback. Online zoom meetings every Tuesday that were not mandatory but it's recommended if you want your questions answered. Quizzes were easy and many of the questions were in your own opinion.

I took Val Grams class during the Spring Semester for 2023 and I would absolutely take it again. The quizzes/ test are super easy. All the information can be found on the tex book. Any question or concerns you may have he will answer. I would absolutely recommend to take this class if you're looking into Law enforcement. One of the best on campus!

Attendance is not mandatory, but he does have guest speakers that you would not want to miss. All his quizzes are based on the textbook. Very easy to pass the class and get good grades on the quiz if you follow through the questions correctly. He does not give you a bad grade unless you really messed up. An A teacher that helps you when you needed!

Really great classes, I've taken him 3 semesters. If you're really into the subject, you will do great in his classes. Very clear on all information, very knowledgeable and patient. Extremely clear on assignments, test your critical thinking, and very clear on the readings. You will enjoy these classes.

This class is very easy; we only have 1 quiz a week based on one of the chapters from the book. What I don't like is that he says "attendance is mandatory" but then rambles on all class about random, kinda related things. He doesn't like you on your phone/computer, so you just have to sit there. He randomly has us do in-class assignments.

genuinely such an easy class. one assignment per week and it is only five questions. 2 discussion posts. 3 pretty straightforward and easy written assignment's. you need to really not try at all whatsoever to fail his class.

Easy A class, just do your reading quizzes on time. All assignments are just variations on open book reading quizzes anyways. Lectures are mandatory for hybrid and in person classes, but online I didn't have to take any of them live.

Dude his class is so easy, if y'all fail it it's a you problem. He let's you turn in work late af as long as you talk to him about extending the deadline. So easy.

This professor is great; Graham has many years on the job and explains the basics of any job. Not only does he explain the job of law enforcement extremely well, but he has insight into many jobs. As for his rubric, it's amazing, and he is very forgiving if late work is turned in and grades like a sergeant would.

Honestly, a great professor especially if you forget to turn assignments on time, he'll accept them if you email him. The homework is easy, and the instructions are very clear. His lectures teach you a lot while he especially helps you project your voice when talking to the class.
