He is an awesome person as well as a brilliant teacher. He has so much knowledge stored in his brain, it is hard not to want to soak it all up; not to mention he is easy on the eyes!

He has outlines and flashcards to study with. You can easily make an A and you don't have to study forever to learn the material. Very funny and down to earth. It's a great class to take in the a.m. b/c you'll be able to stay awake.

Material covered in class was not easy but challenging and interesting. He is very easygoing and doesn't mind helping people understand. Loves the Simpsons and rock bands. Has a really hot girlfriend too!!!!

He is a good Professor. Has an outline book you can get at the bookstore and just highlight during his lectures. Bookstore also has flashcards to use to study for his test. If you study these materials you will do well on his test, lots of the questions come right off the flashcards.

This is a very professional instructor who encourages the students’ abilities to learn. Lecturers are covered with specific detail and moderate personal influence. Over all he is a must take teacher; with the curriculum advanced, so studying is required.

Mr. Wigginton knew the material and always started on time. Sometimes he would take questions. I found the class fun and interesting, it could be the Presidental Election that went on this year. I like current events.

Very helpful teacher i was affraid of taking government because i dont like the subject but he made it very interesting and clear study the outline and you'll be just fine!! some people said studying his note cards was easier who knows!

Mr. Wigginton makes this course fun. Even for us "older" students. Study his outline and flash cards and you'll do great. I made A's of all his tests. He is a nice professor and friendly to his students. Very funny.

Final Exam is 100 questions, but he copys & pastes 25 questions from the previous 4 tests so you should recongize the questions and the answer to it. Great MAN!

He never puts down students for having outrageous ideas/ comments. In fact he graciously accepts them. I explained why Hitler had good ideas and that this US gov't. is based on corruption since 1775 and he told me that my arguments were logically sound. EXCELLENT TEACHER!

easy class, Mr. wiggington loves the simpsons, so be prepared to here about them. I highly recommed this class. dont buy the book all you need is his outline and flash cards.

Wigginton is really cool and funny but I thought his tests were hard. I studied the outlines and the notecards but I still didn't do that great on the tests..they were kind of tricky. He's really friendly though...but maybe that's just because I'm a cute girl!

No professor could possibly make govt. more interesting than he. He's funny and is organized. There are 4 tests per sem, 50 questions each. So the final is just 25 questions from each test. Study the outline and the flashcards for an A. Don't bother buying that way over-priced book.Best teacher

This teacher is the "God" of govt, ok, well maybe a "Ceasar" of govt! He's AWSOME! I hated govt, but not after his class. He's very comical, even when he's not trying to be, which made his already easy test even easier to take. Being in his class was a pleasure. Took Mr. Wigginton for both government classes. Very funny and keeps you interested in his lectures. Uses the Simpsons as a great reference. He could make it a little more challenging by adding an essay or two to his tests. But overall a great professor!!

The semester just ended and I'm already registered for his class next semester. I like to argue with him after class because his bell curve is just wrong (LOL). Pay attention to his lectures and his outline, study his outline (do the flash cards too), if you're really worried about it do the extra credit, watch The Simpsons... voila! Easy A!

One of the classes i looked forward to my first semester. Hilarious broguht politics into view by using current events to explain. Literaly tells you what is going ot be on the test. Would have been my favorite class had this annoying woman not been in the class

Good teacher; very funny. The only complaint I have is his review's. He started doing a power point review that wasen't as helpful as I thought after seeing my tests. If you study his notes and look over the powerpoint you'll make a B, without any effort...easily have a C.

Great Teacher very interesting and knowlegable took during mini and summer made an A in both classes and study the day before Final is very easy. No book required just buy the summary outline no need to buy the flash card. He also offers xtra credit he makes it impossible to fail. Believe it or not the mini was easier then the summer class.

I took him at UH and followed him @san jac he's awesome. Buy the outline read night before and make an A. He's awesome ask him to do his Nixon impersonation and why ****s need to need to know about interstate laws. He's so funny. Warning if you can't memorize don't take his class.

I took GOVT 1301 in the summer at 7:30 in the morning. He kept me awake with his interesting, funny lectures. Seriously, just buy the outline and get the gist of it. His tests are a piece of cake. If you listen in class and study the outline a little bit, then you'll make an A.

Good class, material gets interesting towards the end of the semester. His attitude is quite laid back and lenient, however if you talk during his lectures he'll get "uber pissed as hell will allow."

Great instructor, funny during lecture. He is also the Department Chair. You won't need the textbook although you will need the class outline authored by him(available at the bookstore). He also has powerpoint outlines available on blackboard. If you take good lecure notes you probably don't even need the outline book but its worth the money.

I absolutely LOVE this guy! So funny and I actually enjoyed going to class! This is a great professor!!! Come to class everyday because some exam questions will come from the lecture only, buy the note cards and the outline and you will be set. Some people will tell you that the notecards are useless but they are wrong. If you can answer the questions on the notecards then you can answer the questions on the test.

Just show up to his class everyday and you'll make an easy A. All you need to buy is his outline. Going through the outline may seem like it is a lot of information to study, but if you listen to the lectures then once you take the test it is a breeze.

By far the best teacher I've ever taken at San Jac. He teaches you what you need to know and he's test are from the outline. So attend class! Study and you'll make an A.
