By far, the best professor I've had. She not only makes class interesting but fun as well. Knows her subject and keeps you interested. She genuinely cares for her students and wants them to do well. Explains everything :) I wish she taught every single course in my major! I would recommend her for any child development class she teaches. A+++++++

Professor Bailey is awesome at teaching. The lectures are organized well, and the assignments are scientific and fun. She draws images, graphs and diagrams of important or complicated concepts making them easier to remember and understand, and she uses lots of current real-life examples that make the material relatable to whatever you're studying.

By far one of the best professors Ive had ! Any question you have she explains it thoroughly as well as her lectures. An easy A as long as you come to class and do your work which she explains how to do and gives great examples.

When I registered for the class I didnt think too much of it. But once I entered the class and begin listening to Mrs. Baileys lectures & experiences, her amount of knowledge and passion on this subject, it definitely shows. Shes a good professor and isnt strict her class is easy to pass just do the assignments and show up and youll be fine. Attendance is mandatory because each class counts for participation points and it does make a difference. The textbook is necessary for some in class assignments and to use as a reference to study and do some assignments

This was an amazing course and Vanessa is an awesome professor. She is extremely kind and understanding, as well as a good instructor. There was a strong emphasis on attendance as there was engaging class work that required participation. I enjoyed the class and did extremely well on the exams.

I enjoyed the class, it was fast paced and overall a good time. I feel like I gained a lot of knowledge considering it was a four week summer class. The amount of work in general was very reasonable, the notes taken in class do come a long way when it comes to studying for quizzes and exams.

Shes a really good teacher and she knows how to teach. She has certain guidelines to follow for the criteria of the class. If you miss a day just let her know in advance so she can help you get what you need or missed. Shes supportive and makes the class fun and interesting.

Mrs. Baiely is an awesome preofessor who I recommend everyone to take for child development .Her lectures are amazing and get alot of information out of them. I have taken her for other child development classes and has been an amazing experience. All her work is all common sense if you are present to class. Easy A and she is very helpful.

I really appreciated having Mrs. Bailee! I took her for 2 classes CHD 140 and 149 and I really enjoyed having her! She is very friendly and provides many real life examples making the time in class go fast and easy to remember the concept. She reminds you of the assignments that are due every week so there is no reason to not turn them in!

Its straight to the point and you arent struggling to understand the material. The assignment are always posted ahead of time to be planned out if needed too. She will communicate well with you if you need help or even for a simple question. A great teacher overall for Child Development!

This is the 2nd time Ive had V Bailey and most likely wont be my last, she is wonderful. She doesnt assign too much work and all her test are passable as long as you attend class and do the assignments, she usually always has a study guide for her test. Easy to talk to. Class is actually a lot of fun since lab work is basically arts n crafts.

This. Semester was flying by! Her labs were souch fun and we were allowed to get in touch with our inner child and express ourselves with little interference. Her lectures were well thought out and explained. I really love that she uses the notes section in her PowerPoints so we can grasp the lecture better when studying at home.

This is my second semester taking her for a different course, and shes awesome, very specific, has a timeline(big plus), works with you very well. And if we need any help with anything shes there, just message her and she will get back to you within hours.

I took Professor Bailey's Chld42 class during the summer for four weeks. I honestly thought since it was only four weeks that she was going to through lots and lots of homework at us. She was the most generous teacher ever. The homework was a piece of cake! I def recommend to take her class! I'd like to have her for more Chld Dev courses! 10/10!

She also provided the option to complete assignments for extra credit. We did have the average amount of assignments that needed to be completed so the work load was not extensive at all. Mrs. Bailey is a wonderful professor, her class was really easy but you have to work for it. she does offer extra credit towards the end of the semester. there is a group project for chapter check-ups and a final presentation towards the end of the semester. but I would take her again.

This was our first full semester online because of covid and Vanessa Bailey in my opinion, did the best job on organization. She had canvas set to where you would have a check mark to show you finished an assignment/module. The final was really easy as well. Overall great professor, you wont be disappointed.

This class is very organized. Every week assignments are due at the same time. Extra credit is available. I apprieciated the consistancy in assignments while being all online. It was one less thing to worry about. Only one big assignment, but she gives you access to the information from the start of the semester.

In the class I took there were no exams: the most important thing is keeping track of many smaller assignments and showing up for class. Professor Bailey is smart and down to earth, and she will explain complicated things in a way that makes sense.

Professor Baileys class had a simple and easy set up. I enjoyed her class. About 2 assignments weekly, discussion boards & 1 research paper. Super easy. What I didnt like was that her tests were incoherent to the study guides she provides. Other than that easy class! Passed it with an A.

Homework is far and few, a lot of it that you do is a simple discussion post that isn't bogged down by unnecessary bloat like many general ED classes can feel like sometimes. Her lectures are incredibly fun, and participation, while you don't have to do, enhances the whole experience. There is a paper, but nothing extremely formal is required.

Professor Bailey is the best teacher because she truelly cares about the industry and her students. Her teaching style is easy to follow by the use of PowerPoint with a lecture and hands-on projects to reinforce want we learned.
