Vanessa is an amazing professor and her teaching style is fun and energetic. She really cares about the students and always help us with our doubts in the class. Her slides are organized and she gives lots of examples to help me learn in class. I hope to have her as a professor again.

Im not very good at mathematics or accounting but I found her teaching style professional, friendly, strict but fair. She is very competent and relatively easy to follow. She was able to relate the subject matter to all the students in various ways. I would take another of her classes and recommend. She puts the Prof in professional!

Mrs. Li is teaching an accounting principles 1 course and it covers what I did in Grade 11 and 1/2 of grade 12 accounting classes. If you came straight from high school, its repetitive; if you came after a few years and never heard of accounts, this might be a fast paced tough course.

THIS SUBJECT IS REALLY VERY IMPORTANT. PLEASE DO NOT SKIP ANY CLASS OTHERWISE YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO UNDERSTAND ANYTHING AND WILL FAIL IN THIS SUBJECT.

She was very helpful, had breaks during class to ensure if we had questions that we could ask during that time. Was very knowledgeable about the subject and was very accessible outside of class time. She is also very understanding as there was a few hiccups throughout the semester.

She is very nice and cooperative. She is bit strict during class but seems good. Love the way she teaches and a respected professor.

Vanessa is a very straight-forward professor and I respect that. Her method of teaching, the quiz due prior to class, is not preferable as some people, including me, learn best when the teacher demonstrates and explains what is happening. Participation was the easiest part of the class and also made learning the content a lot easier as well.

In class participation, before class quiz and homework provides deep knowledge about particular concepts that proves to be beneficial in future.
