Great Professor. Thorough in his teaching methods and makes sure students receive all they need to get a B and higher. I highly recommend his class.
So first day of class--very mean and to the point. Several times commented on if you don't want to be here then leave, I don't want you here then. Miss a day full letter grade drop. So far scary! Hope he is nice and wants to make sure you have a B like the person mentioned. 9 quizzes 1 huge exam first quiz the next week of school. Wish me luck!
The material is hard. There are lots of quizes, two exams, and a couple of papers. This is not a cake class. We get more work in this class compared to any class i've taken.
Seriously easy material. He is tough and not too friendly, but he's to the point. Don't talk in his class he will start war. One of the easiest classes i've taken, very easy A. There are excercises in class done together, then he picks 20 for a quiz next class, you can't fail.
Very knowledgeable and doesn't put up with any nonsense during class. Enjoyed his class very much mostly because he created a "no BS" environment and I appreciated the heck out of that. The only people who had problems were those who did not behave appropriately during class. If you're there to learn, you will. More teachers should be like this guy
Great teacher! Extremely organized. He clearly explains course objectives so it is really up to the student to get an A. There was really no need to take notes as he would hand them out at the beginning of class. There would be a test every class period, but that only makes it easier for students to track their progress. This class was easy and fun
I do not enjoy this class much. He has an accent that is a little hard to inderstand, and doesn't make sense at times. This class is mostly him readign the notes to you then you read the book and take a test. If you do take this class read the notes, the book isn't much help! He's not the worst proffesor but could be a lot better. He's VERY strict!
I have been taking this class for about a month now and my first impression was, scary!! He was very strict and I was afraid to even breathe. But now I like his class and appreciate his to the point no nonsense style. We know exactly what is expected of us each and every class. I think if i do all my work as expected this will be an easy a.
Very helpful! He looks strict but he's really nice! He provides handouts for his students and helps any one to catch up when he or she misses something.
I was afraid at first because he was tough in the beginning of the semester. but he was actually just weeding out the bad apples, those who werent serious about learning.. he said that there weould be no make up tests.. but because no one wanted to test him, if someone needed a make up he gave it. he's a good teacher. i recommend his class
This teacher is great because he explains everything so that makes test easier to take. And the finial is worth as much as all the other test (totall of 10) that was great. Only 20 questions each.
it was an ok class.
Great professor. He expects adult behavior, which is nice for those of us who act like adults. You know exactly what he expects, and if you do the work, it's an easy A. I would take classes from him again.
If you miss a test, he lets you make it up. He is really nice. He has an accent but isnt that hard to understand. His tests are questions straight from the book. Very easy as long as you go over your notes.
Took this class in the summer. Very easy. He has an accent but it's not hard to understand him. Just sit there and listen to his lecture. the important part is the problems at the end of the lecture because he takes the qusetions for the test straight from the book.
Took this class in the summer. Very easy. He has an accent but it's not hard to understand him.
I took this class during the summer and it was pretty easy. He has a little bit of an accent, but it really isn't bad. Pay attention in class and be sure to do the review at the end, his questions came directly from them!!
easy class! just listen to the lectures and behave...tests are straight from the book & he gives you the answers...just behave!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND. One day is lecture, next day is review, 3rd day is test directly off review. Show up for review and test, gauranteed A if you don't be an ass in class, he couldn't make it easier. Class is never more than 40 mns.
Wow. This was the easiest college class I have ever taken. However, if you are expecting a class with some discussion and/or arguments this class will be a big dissapointment. If you are looking for an easy A, this is the class for you.
Totally easy class! just show up on the days when he is going over the exercises (homework) and just study the homework for the test and you'll pass! Even though he gives a lot of test (10 total) they are all multiple choice & only 20 questions each. He also has his EXACT lecture notes in the library if you miss a lecture day. I am getting an A!!
There are teachers who think everyone is taking their major, and those who know this is just a required class. This is the later teacher. He lectures what he needs to lecture and lets you out early. His grade is based on ten tests only. Basically, his schedule is: lecture day, review day, test day, repeat. Great if you just want to get it done.
This class is way easy. I got an A, but didn't learn a thing. Turned out to be a waste of time, so if you want to learn philosophy, take a different prof. If you just want to get the credits to fulfill a prerequiste, this prof is great.
This class is soo easy. He makes it as easy as possible. Class never lasts longer than 30-45 minutes. Test questions come straight from the activities in the book that you go over in class before the test. Easy A.
very easy class. class never lasts longer than 30-45 minutes. the questions to the test come straight from the activities in the book, which you go over in class before the test. very easy A.
The class is really interesting. Will be reading through the book, but there are lectures that you don't want to miss. Really great guy. Willing to talk to you after class on what was learned or more. I do stress that you should have questions before class if you want the most out of him, otherwise not a differcult teacher to have.Highly Recommend.
I took his PHIL 101 class years ago, and I thought he was a very good teacher. He clearly loves what he does, and his only downfall is that he knows too much about the topic. You can sense he is troubled because he wants to discuss Kant or Nietzsche, but can't on the level they teach at CSN. I recommend him.
i took his class because i was fairly interested in philosophy and by the end i couldn't get enough. hes a good teacher and knows what hes teaching.but if you want to talk to him one on one you better do it before or after class. class consists of 30-45 min lecture. every two classes is a test, but you get to use your notes.and better yet he create
this class is the best! basically every class day goes like this: lecture, review homework questions, test....thats it! he is like clock work!! seriously the homework questions he tells you from the book WILL be the only questions on the test. all you have to do is memorize the questions from the book becuase word-for-word they will be on the test.
He teaches one day a week, a 3 hour class. But you are only in class for 1 1/2 hours on lecture days and 30 minutes on test days, which are every 2 weeks. He gives you the questions and answers for the tests. There are no assignments, no discussions. The final is 20 questions and he gives you the q's and a's too. Take him! EASY A+
Prof. Munteanu was a great teacher. He doesn't make the class too difficult and the previous post explains how he teaches the class and what is required of you. He also wants each student to succeed. There is no question that he is the best professor to take for Phil 102.
This teacher is great, first week he goes over chapter 1 the second week he goes over chapter 2 and then the third week he gives two exams one on each chapter which are 20 questions each and easy and thats how it is for the rest of the semester. his lectures are short and he uses good examples to make it easier. i recomend taking him
Love this professor. I've had him for phil 101 and 102 and when I found out that he was teaching ENG 232 this semester I just had to take him. He is very nice and helpful and he wants all his students to suceed. Very Easy as well..I highly recommend him..
very easy teacher. you can't go wrong. nice guy. he wears the same outfit every class lmao not that has anything to do with the class. tests are all from the review exercises which he gives you the answer to. take this class for an A fursure
i took him for 101 and 102 he is very picky but he is a great teacher and i enjoyed both of his classes very much
Took him for both 101 and 102. Prof. Munteanu is a fantastic professor. He really tries to help students do well, and his expectations are not overly high. Very informative, explains concepts well, and I think he is the absolute best professor for Philosophy 101, and especially 102. Very highly recommended. You'd be a fool not to take him.
I re-arranged my summer & fall classes to get him again. My family not so happy, but how do you pass up an professor who gives it to you straight foward from the start? Attend class, don't have cell on, take notes, do the readings & you'll be fine. He encourages questions, don't be afraid to ask. He tries to make it interesting as he can.Good class
I took him for 3 semesters!PHIL102,PHIL101,and ENG223.He can be strict in class for wanting your undivided attention, but he'll make sure you don't leave the class without learning. He's my personal and academic mentor too.Gives great advice.Down to earth, very patient and helpful. It's good to have his courses while taking other hard classes.Easy A.
He is very helpful and will help you in any way he can if you dont understand something...If you study you will do fine in the test.
He is the best professor that I have encountered. He is very down to earth, wise and helpful. He is a great professor, because his goal is to help his students success, not intentionally make things difficult, setting you up for failure. I was not supposed to take this class, but first exchange, I decided he was put in my life for a reason.
TAKE HIM!9,take home 20 question m/c quizzes,1 final in class 20 m/c questions.SUPER EASY!You don't need to buy the book if you would rather rent it from the library and do the quizzes in the library. The way he has class is he lectures, gives out a test, no class the next class, repeat. Also he is a short lecturer.
He lectures for like 45 minutes tops, does exercises in book for an hour.Tests are 20 questions m/c.On test days all you do is take the tests. He gives out two at a time.Tests are the exercises he does in class and vocab from class.Write down answers from exercises and just study them.TAKE HIM!!!He is super helpful and I learned a lot.
Download short and long notes from angel, use short notes in class, tests are from exercises in book I am not using the current edition of book) which we go over in class. memorize them and concepts. NO texting! No talking while he is talking! Common courtesy expected.
This professor is great. I like his teaching style which I found very informative. Always let students ask any questions at the end of the lecture.
First of all, the professor is very intellectual but those lectures will not enlightened you in life if that is his motive. prospectively, his personality is very dull, despite that it can't compare and contrast other students point of view because he seemed to try so hard. Very stressful to listened but very insightful too.
Great teacher, fun and easy class, do the work for an easy A. Looking forward to have him as a future teacher in higher classes.
Nice guy! Always out early, short lecture! No class every 2 weeks for take home tests! Super easy!
Good teacher, explains EVERY single vocab term in PHIL 102 possible :P. Textbook is very very very mandatory. 1 chapter a week, on the third week you have the test on the previous 2 chapters. I LITERALLY studied 2 hours prior to test because all questions are exactly the same as the exercises in the book. Heavy accent BTW!!
This is 3rd semester taking him. I truly respect and admire him -- as an individual and educator. I have had the most interesting one-on-one conversations with him. He genuinely wants his students to learn and be successful. But he can't teach you if you aren't open to learning. Be respectful. Attendance is mandatory. Turn the phones off.
Attendance mandatory. Every class missed you drop one whole letter grade. Very helpful and detailed while teaching. Explains every last detail possible to help you understand. I wish all my professors were like him.
Very easy class. Studying is required to get an A but you can probably get a C or B without much effort.
Awesome teacher. really easy and interesting. I would recommend.
Attendance is deffinately mandatory. Kepp your phone silent, if it goes off in class he gets very offended. And absolutely no texing or you will be pointed out. He make the course easy to understand and will work with you to come in another day if absent. Altogether super easy class! Has accent but still understandable
Professor Munteanu is an amazing professor. He is very passionate about philosophy and it shows. Attendance is mandatory and he does not tolerate cell phones. He makes this class easy and clear to understand. If you do the exercises you will pass the class with an A. Take him if you have the option. He is the best professor I have had at CSN!
Although Prof M. has an accent he makes the class very manageable to pass! The whole semester looks like this: Lecture one class, Exercises from the book the next, and a test from the exercises in the next class. Study the exercises and know the key terms and there is no way you can fail if you go to every class. Highly recommend this class.
AMAZING Professor! Attendance is mandatory. NO CELL PHONES!!! 10 Quizzes. If you study the exercises from the book and have an idea of the terms, there's no way you can fail the test. He helps out if you have any trouble understanding the material. I would HIGHLY recommend you to take this Professor!!!!!3343
EASY A if you can be in class everyday! One missed class is a letter grade dropped! Be respectful, he is passionate about teaching his students;) No homework, exercises to review.. Only 10 tests, and they are only 20 questions each. This is a very simple class, just be there, pay attention, and the rest is common sense!:) HIGHLY recommend.
Great professor! He wants every student to excel. You will know exactly what to study in order to get an A. He covers test questions in class before each test. One of my best classes.
One of the best professors at CSN! He tells you exactly what you need to study to pass the tests and the final. You must come to class and take notes to succeed. He has great respect for the students in his class. Highly recommend Professor Munteanu!
Professer Munteanu is great! He realizes that students aren't philosophy majors, so he keeps it simple. Attendance is a must if you want to succeed.
Great professor! Attendance is mandatory.
Attendance is mandatory, and NO cell phones in class, but other than that, this was the easiest/best class I've taken. Prof. Munteanu gives you everything you need to pass the exams/final (seriously, he gives you the answers!), so all you need to do is show up and study.
Highly recommend!!!!!! He's a straight forward teacher who tells you what you need to know about philosophy and nothing extra. His tests are very easy and they're open notes and book. He gives you 2 sets of notes for each chapter!!!! Why not take him?!? I loved him
he is well into hes Philosophy. A VERY EASY PROFESOR TO UNDERSTAND!!! Open book, a little annoying but EASY!!!!! TAKE HIM!!!! if you want a good grade, TAKE HIM.
Great professor. Highly recomend him.
Very interesting and easy class. Super sweet guy. I loved when he got on a lecture rampage where he went off the script and let the knowledge poor :-) He's very passionate. There are 10 mini test that are 20 questions. The tests are open notebook and open book. Thats it people, go sign up!!
Best philosophy professor ever. The tests were not too hard. Open book and open notes.
Great teacher for a sort of intimidating course. 10 easy 20 question quizzes that are open booknote. Cuts to the chase, stays on topic, and is overall a seemingly sweet guy. Would definitely recommend to everyone. Just show up, take notes, and the book can help with any confusion.
Piece of cake :-)
10, 20 questioned multiple choice exams. had class once every other week, with take home exams. open book final. hard subject for me to understand, his notes helped very little for me, used the book most of the time. he means well but very intimidating. will fail you if you miss class. lectures are very short for having him once a week.
His online class is only tests, every 3 weeks (one for each chapter). each test is 20 multiple choice/ true-false tests. Super easy. He also is kind enough to send out reminders when the tests open and 24 hours before they close. I would take him again.
This teacher is so cool. There were 10 tests. The lecture notes were very helpful and funny too. I really enjoyed this class. If you have any questions they will be answered quickly.I wish Professor Munteanu would teach 102.I highly recommend this class to anyone who doesn't mind to read independently and take tests on what you've read. Loved it.
LOTS of reading! Took online and that was pretty easy, however the bi-weekly test were lengthy and the reading was insane!
If you want an "A" take this class enough said...!!!
Easy A, 10 tests might not even need the book. I received a B+ on just his study guides and google. I had a hybrid course that turned strictly online. In class he talks about things not on the test and has a heavy accent. He's is really nice, but NOT very captivating. Online was very easy to pass.
Prof. Munteanu was a type of professor that are very laid-back and inspirational when come to talk about philosophy in a basic sense. He doesn't rambling on and on without a purpose. He make a connection with real-life situation to philosophy. He provided notes that helped you to understand the rambling readings in a clear yet precise sense.
Ten online tests, all material is from the textbook, but he summarizes it with his own notes that are available to you as well. You can tell he cares about his students and wants them to pass; he made the class as easy as possible, really. Just read the book, take the tests (since it's online it's open-book, open-note) and you'll be fine.
For person like me who doesn't know much about Philosophy he made it so interesting and so fascinating. He really opened up my mind to think about our lives and how we see the world. He's very awesome, take his class and show up, totally worth it.
Took him over the summer online. Read his announcements that he posts when quizzes open - he puts study guides in there. I went half the course not knowing b/c I didn't read the whole announcement. Saved my grade too, I'd read the whole chapter, think I understood it and get an 80 on the quiz. He gives good study helps too read them through.
I took this class online during the summer. It was a lot of reading and about three tests a week. However, the professor gives you great lectures and notes. As long as you do the reading it will be an easy class to pass.
Professor Munteanu is very professional, and is a great credit to his profession. He has a very kind demeanor, and you can tell, even if you are an online student, it's like he's right there with you, hoping for you to do your best. If you want to take Philosophy (next semester he is teaching 102 as well), he is a solid choice. Highly recommended!
I took philosophy 101 online. I am currently taking 4 classes and this class was great to have. All the class is is 10 exams. 9 exams that cover 2 chapters for each exam. And one final exam. No time limit for tests and 2 weeks to take 2 exams. 20 questions each. I loved this class and the professor was cool. Take this for an easy A.
Very easy class, I loved how he had all the lectures that you can use to study. His tests were easy and sometimes he'd give you an answer correct if you originally got it wrong. The textbook was also really, really good.
I wish I could complete my college education with him being my professor for every class! He is so captivating it doesn't hurt that he is sexy.
Look no further. This is the class you want. Your grade is based only on 10 easy online quizzes. Be sure to read through the exercise modules, he gives all the answers there. A breeze.
Take this professor if he is open. Great, easy class. Every other PHIL 102 class has a ton of work. I took it online. You basically have three weeks to take two tests. There are 10 total. He gives you a lot of notes you can read to make sure you understand the information. You are only graded on the tests. You can choose not to read and pass.
Took class online. Only 10 tests very ease to get an A. Read and print the notes. Follow along on the tests and you will pass. If you do not do what he tells you on the tests it may get rough. These are concepts that will help your whole life. Wish all the class were this easily laid out... Also took a COM101. class in person went well together.
He is an Awesome Professor. I would take his class again. The Phil 102 class was an easy read and easy test.
The best class I have taken since starting college. I am a full time worker that doesn't have a lot of time to study night after night and this class made it a breeze while actually teaching relevant information. Take this class if you need to pass a Phil Class!
I took his Philosophy 101 class and it was by far one of my favorite classes that I have ever taken. He's very inspirational and passionate about what he teaches. His class was really easy and his tests were simple. I highly recommend taking one of his classes.
EASY class. You can choose to read the book & notes & actually learn or take the answers that he gives on the exercises & match them up w/ the questions on the tests & get an easy A. I actually tried to learn & sometimes found that I understood a concept better when I just read the book & then got confused when I read his notes. STRONGLY RECOMMEND!
TAKE THIS PROF! Each chapter has a "test" but just buy the textbook & look at the exercises for each chapter he gives & you will find that the test questions look very familiar. 10 tests total & you take two at a time except Test 9 & the Final (Test 10). Two attempts & the answers are basically in front of you so there's literally no way to fail.
By far the easiest class I've taken for the semester. There are 10 tests total and there will be exercises and a study guide prior to those tests. Follow his instructions, go through the exercises, and the tests will be a breeze. He is very understanding to his students as well. Would strongly recommend taking this class if you need the credit!
He really cares about making you think. Makes sure you have a great understanding of the material. Provides excellent study notes for each test. Very thorough. Loves to have discussions on topics. Takes his time with students. Extremely smart and thoughtful professor. Would definitely take his class again. No homework other than reading.
Prof Munteanh posts great material online to help you pass all of the tests, and it was all organized. There were only 10 tests for you to take online, and it was an easy A. Take his courses online!
Trust me when I tell you to take this professor's class online! Easy A. The work is evenly distributed and he is veeery helpful with assignments. If you know the answers to the assignments, you will pass every test. All tests taken online. Textbook is required.
His class is easy... Study and take two tests every two weeks. Its not that enjoyable though, its a forgettable class. There are better philosophy profs. If you are looking for an easy A take the class, if you are looking to enjoy philosophy the way it should be taught, take another prof. (His notes/lectures can also be very confusing at times)
I took Prof. Munteanus PHIL 102 course online and it went a lot better than I expected! PHIL is a tough subject but he breaks it down easily for you! Hes very passionate and it shows through his funny and well thought-out written lectures! Just 10, 20-question tests and a final. Very easy stuff. Definitely recommended for non-PHIL/ENG majors!
This class was great, the set up really made it easy to predict and manage with a full load of other classes. This class plays well with others. The study guides she creates are extremely helpful, as are the exercises she has us do the week before test week. Thankfully no essays, all tests. Learned a lot in this class!
Professor Munteanu wants you to succeed. He provides all the tools that you need in order to get an A in this course. Read all his announcements on canvas and especially the study guides. Very passionate about what he lectures. No essays, all test formats based off his lectures which everything is provided in Canvas.
Okay so there is two tests every month but they are so easy you don't even need to study for them. Easiest A ever. I took the course online and we had no homework, just the tests. The tests are open book and open note and the questions come right from the text book. TAKE THIS CLASS.
All you have to do is take 10 quizzes online and there super easy. You get three attempts for each quiz and the quizzes are the same each attempt so you can go back and see what you got wrong. He emails you every time there is quiz to remind you. He's a great professor and an easy A take him I promise you you wont regret it! GPA booster!
Super easy class. Easy A, only 10 tests. two every two weeks. Everything is on quizlet. Don't buy the textbook. It's not necessary.
This class was way easier than expected. He gives you PLENTY of time to read each chapter, but pay attention to which chapters are next as he sometimes doesn't go in order. (I've definitely read the wrong chapters before.) USE HIS NOTES! The key to an A is to read the chapter and utilize his notes before taking the quizzes.
If you get anything less than a perfect score in this class, you have no business being in college. 10 tests. The professor tells you not only which questions are on the test, but you've already been given the answer key to the questions the week before. If that isn't enough, you have 3 attempts to take each test, and the questions do not change.
This class is one of the easiest class that I took in my college career He is very respectful I passed my course with a good grade.
He is one of the best professors I have had by far. Loved going to his classes, because he can be so inspirational and moving. He tries to go at the same pace as students, not too fast not too slow, and always want to make sure everybody is on the same page. Great professor, and great human being. All of the quizzes are online with study guides.
Great instructor. It really shows that he cares and wants everyone to do well. Textbook wasn't really needed since he prepared a lot of notes already for use. Only 2 tests a month, 20 questions each. Definitely would take him again!
He is THE BEST. Graded by tests only but they are so so easy, he even makes chapter outlines for you. Each test is open for like 5 days AND they are only 20 questions. I highly recommend this professor.
This was by far the easiest class ever at CSN. His lectures are pretty motivating and he has a good sense of humor, you can tell he has a passion for philosophy. Didn't use the book so don't buy it because he gives you all the notes on Canvas. Tests were extremely easy just use his study guide. Take this class for an easy A!!
Most caring professor I have ever had. Easiest class too!
This professor is amazing. His lectures are interesting and you can tell he is very passionate about Philosophy. He seems like he really cares about his students and making sure we have everything we need to get a good grade in his class. I really enjoyed this class and would definitely it again.
The professor is passionate about what he teaches. There are 10 quizzes. There is a lecture, but the professor does post the lecture notes and will have a guide to following along. There is a lot of reading but the tests are easy. I highly recommend taking Professor Munteanu!
This class was the easiest class I've ever taken. I took it for summer and all you had to do was take 10 tests. Don't waste your time buying the textbook you don't need it. You get 4 times to pass the test and you can see what answers you got wrong so process of elimination and most the questions only have 2 options. Such an easy grade.
amazing professor with grading based off of 10 quizzes. Munteanu made philosophy easy to understand and easy to read. I personally didn't read the textbook and only used it for the exercises/hw bc he provided written notes and lectures that were easier to follow and he REALLY broke down the chapters. 1000/10 please take their class!!!
Easiest class ever! Take this Professor! This teacher only had 10 tests that students were graded on every two weeks. They were about 20 questions long with no time limit. All the answers could be found in the warmups. If you missed the deadline, he would email them to you at full credit. Super easy - basically impossible to fail.
Professor Munteanu by far is the best instructor I've ever had. If you are looking for an easy A this course is recommended.
The ONLY assignments he gives are 2 tests, 20Qs each, every 3-4 weeks (10 Tests Total). That's it. You get 4 chances each, & all answers are in the notes he provides that you can use on the tests. I ended w/ a 100% :) Highly recommend!
Dr. Munteanu's class is by far the best choice. Very straightforward has 10 tests the book is free online you have 4 attempts to get the best grade. He keeps the highest. I mean if you cannot pass this class I don't know what to tell you!
Trust all these positive reviews and just take him! Easy and interesting class. Very kind professor. Put yes to textbook use but you don't NEED it - only if you want to go more in-depth on the topics discussed. Would definitely take a class with him again.
Total of 10 tests with 20 questions each. The final exam is also 20 questions. A total of 4 chances to retake the tests. You take 2 tests at a time, very very easy. He provides long notes which you can literally rely on. He posts lectures and multiple resources. VERY EASY, its impossible to NOT pass. Its just the Tests, no other assignments.
For the love of everything take this class especially if its online, but even if its in-person this professor is clearly passionate about philosophy and wants to make the class as pleasant for you as possible and wants you to like philosophy. The online class is solely test based but is very lenient and open note.
The only things that you need to do are 10 tests and they are all open book and very easy to do. He provides well written lecture notes that you can use. You also have a few attempts to retake the tests. A great and easy class overall.
I took Professor Munteanu PHIL 101 class for the spring semester 2022. The only homework is to read the chapters. His lecture notes are very helpful. Quizzes are 20 questions each and he gives you a total of 4 chances per a quiz to retake the quiz and get the best grade possible. He takes the higher score over the lower score. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
He is the easiest most kind-hearted Professor ever! You only have to take the tests(open book open & notes )and he gives plenty of reminders! There's no discussions no papers! He replies to every email! I love listening to his lectures.! He provides lengthy notes! Which I would download all of them for future philosophy classes! He is my favorite!
ATTENTION STUDENTS!! TAKE THIS CLASS!! If you are a Nursing student aspiring to go on into the BSN program, take this class over the summer for your prereq requirements! If you get anything lower than an A, it's your fault. Professor's very clear on grading and you dont have to stress to get an A. Highly recommended!
You have to go out of your way to get anything lower than a B. This class is easy, professor is good, take this class if you need the credit. Took it during the summer, very easy. enough said.
TAKE THIS PROFESSOR !! If you have to do school online i HEAVILY suggest it. i have never wrote a review on a professor but he is exceptional. Only thing you have to do is two tests every other week. He has study guides that basically gives you the answers. If you want the easiest A of your life. Take. this. class.
Professor posts audio lectures that you don't have to listen to. Requires a book but you don't really need it. Writes all the chapter notes for you, just print them. You have 10 total quizzes for the entire semester and that is all the work you have to do. I have had 100 percent in this class the entire time and my grade has never faltered. Easy
The class is criminally easy. Two quizzes every few weeks (10 quizzes total), 20 question each (t/f, multiple choice). The quizzes are all open notes/book; you get 4 attempts and you can see what you got wrong between attempts. Easy A if you're taking the class for credits.
EASIEST A+ EVER! 2 test at a time, and only every other week. So easy that you can take this as your 5th or even 6th class for the semester and you'll still pass with an A+. You're missing out if you don't take this class. I would like to say that his test are due at 11:00pm at night, not the typical 11:59pm so just be aware :)
Take this professor! You get two tests every two weeks on chapters, but you can take the test up to 4 times... There is no way you cant get an A in this class. Super easy class. He even gives study guides to help with the test.. you have to take a total of 10 tests the entire semester, and that's it!
Very easy, smooth class. Professor gives more than enough time to read through chapters and for you to do the quizzes. I would take this class again without a doubt.
Dr. Munteanu is definitely more than a phenomenal professor. He provides clear and concise directions. There are a series of nine multiple-choice quizzes, all with four attempts with unlimited time. He records audio lectures and has them posted in each module, stating the textbook and simplified definitions. Awesome instructor!
Dr. Munteanu was one of the best teachers I've ever had at CSN. You're only graded on two quizzes from the book every two weeks, and every quiz is open book/notes. He gives you a week to complete the quizzes, which have no time limit. He cares a lot about his students and their grades. I would take him for every philosophy class.
Prof. Munteanu is the most clear, concise and organized professor I've had. He provides you with so many resources to learn the material from audio lectures, transcripts of the audio lectures, short notes, long notes, study guides, etc. He does not overcomplicate the class, and his class will probably be your least stressful of the semester.
A class that if you failed it, is on you. I took the class over the summer (which I highly recommend). His chapter quizzes are open notes/books. You will be taking 3 tests at a time, however, you have 8 days to complete. The tests are not timed, but on average took me about 15-30 min to complete. The questions come from the textbook.
Prof. Munteanu was a great Philosophy professor. His lectures are all audio recordings and could be listened to at any time. You have to genuinely try to fail this class. He gives you study guides that contain the answers to any quiz/exam he assigns. Very responsive with genuinely interesting lectures that I listen to even when i'm not in class!
Perfect. This course is perfect in every. single. way. It's one of the best classes I've ever taken, with an amazing professor who is inspiring and caring. The course content is organized perfectly each week and the lectures are both informative and captivating. I highly recommend taking this class, as it's the best one out there. Take this class.
Dr. Munteanu was amazing! Absolutely take his course. He provided study guides for each test (10 total) that were extremely helpful. His class only consists of those tests, but they were open for a week before it was due and there were 4 attempts allowed on each one (including the final). He makes philosophy easy and fun!
I may take this course this fall 2024. I recommend him.
Good luck if you taking this class. I an taking this class this fall of 2024 as my last class. I hope you have an amazing semester.
One of the best philosophy professors! The power points and audio lectures (audio lectures is good, he gives good life advices) are very structured and they go hand to hand with the exams. He cares about his students, wants you to best with good grades, I recommend taking his class!!
I am taking this class in three weeks. There will be exams.
I am taking this class of fall 2024! The syllabus quiz have five attempts. Tests and final 20 questions. Have an amazing semester.
I recommend Dr. Munteanu. Ten tests. He provided study guides. Very interesting class.
I recommend Dr.Munenatu. There ten tests. The study guide is provided. Homework is minimal
I took this class fall 2024. Best professor and there will be 10 tests. Study guide is provided and 4 attempts on exams. One final exam.
Prof. Munteanu makes philosophy easy and engaging. His structured lectures, study guides, and flexible assessments with multiple attempts make this class a breeze. I also found unstuck study helpful for preparing.
He isn't that involved, you are basically teaching yourself and his recorded lectures are very long and mono-toned (boring). But if u have access to the textbook or Quizlet you should be fine. Two test every two weeks (multiple choice). Very Easy class if u just want an A.
Two test every two weeks don't miss them because he does not allow makeups very easy class
Hi everyone. Easy class I recommend this professor. If you like an fun class with no assignments and tests are very easy and 4 attempts. The final was amazing. If Phil 102 was the option with this professor I will take this course too.
This class was super easy and interesting. I took the online class and there was no online meetings it was all on canvas. There was basically no assignments it was tests you had to take every few weeks based off the textbook you had to get for the class. I would recommend this class to anyone.
This is a good class to take if you have a hard/heavy semester because it's literally so easy you might forget about it until you read his reminder announcements to complete the quizzes. The textbook is $250 but trust me you won't even need it- his study guides literally give you the answers for the quizzes. 10 20 question quizzes, that's all.
Great Professor, always good with communication. Gives heads up on each quiz you will take. Focus on the Announcements he makes every time and utilize the terms. Nothing but quizzes no major work. Effortless to get a good grade.
The professor sends reminders for the test. Very professional and care for their students
Took this class in high school and passed with 100%. He provides announcements when the test opens (READ THEM! he gives 'hints' on the correct answers, and half the time it's just the correct answer restated/simplified) and a day before they close. Four retries on every quiz/test (including the comprehensive final). No writing assignments
