Excellent Math teacher,very knowledgeable

Teaches by giving rules of thumb, then shows steps for working problems and then lets you practice what she taught you in class. Exams are based on problems in classwork and homework, drops lowest exam grade. Will go over items you don't understand.

This is my 4th semester with this teacher, I have tried to take other math teachers but none are as thourough as she. After getting accusted to her accent she makes it pretty easy to understand. and will work with you after class to make sure you get it. oh ad she drops the lowest grade too!

She is very helpful. Once you get accustomed to her accent you won't have any problems. Doing the homework helps you on the test.

Excellent professor. I also took 0302 and 0303 with her. Her accent is not difficult to understand at all, and I found her very willing to help students who had trouble. The only people who had issues with her in any of my classes were the ones who hardly showed up or didn't put any effort into doing the work.

If you learn math by following examples of problems then she is your professor. She does all the even problems in your book and the examples help. If you keep up with homework you should do good. If you have problems on the homework ask in class, the tests are like the homework problems.

I was scared at first because of her accent and the fact we couldn't used calculators but she turned out to be an awesome teacher that was really helpful and wanted everyone in the class to understand math. I would definently take another class taught by her.

Calculus for business is hard in general, but it helps to take it from someone you're comfortable with. She has a strong accent that you have to get used to. If you practice the quiz problems it really helps on her exams. If you talk to her outside of class, she's really helpful. I'm an A student and I snuck by that class with a D.

Miss Agrawal unlike anyother math Instructor I ever came across is very boring, less helpful, and too fast in teaching. I do not recommend her if you are not good with math especially statistics.

You have to concentrate to understand her, but overall good teacher. She just concentrates on what you need to know.

great teacher, have taken her class before and will take every math course she teaches at sac as well as utsa. most say they can't understand her, i think it makes u pay closer attention to what she teaches. i love her teaching techniques. a professor can only teach so much, if u don't do the homework, u just may fall behind. GREAT TEACHER!!!!

As long as you came to class and wanted to pass she was a good teacher. She always gave homework. But over all I'd take her class again.

She was always pretty helpful. As long as you show up and try hard she will proboably pass you! I did terrible on my exam two and three, and on my final and she still gave me a C for the class. Very helpful as long as you don't ask questions about previous chapters.

Shes ok shes a good teacher will help if you need it. She 3 or 4 test and quizes in the middle to add points to your grade. So she's cool. Just need to show up and do the work.

I really liked her teaching style. I took her for 0301 and 0302. Mades A's both times. If you do your homework, show up to class prepared and ready to learn she will help you till you get it. She doesnt put up with anything rude or immature. If your a good student she will like you and help you, thats how it works in her class.

She was a great teacher, compared to other math teachers she helps you out and actually lets you try to do the problem before she shows you how to do it, her tests come straight from the hw, and other than the strong accent i would take her again

Dr. Argawal is a fantastic teacher! Her accent is understandable, she relies on the book but does not always follow it exactly and if you attend class, she will explain EXACTLY what you need to know and what is on the test. You must show up to every class and you must do the hmwk/study for tests but a good grade is very attainable.

AWESOME PROFESSOR! I took this class for summer 1 and passed with an A. Very helpful, clear & gives out homework from the book including the hw on My Math Lab. I recommend taking her as for the bad comments they probably didn't study because I've never gotten in A in math and had no problems with her teaching methods.

Great instructor. Her accent takes a few minutes to adjust to. She explains every step and writes everything clearly on board. Do your homework, although she doesn't grade it, b/c it helps for the tests. I would take her again.

She was the best math teacher I have had yet! She never tried to confuse you in the definitions or proofs of problems, but taught you how to work them fast. Now after working them, the proof makes sense. I would recommend her to anyone who is willing to work. ~A satisfied student

of course you dont pay attn you won't pass. shes a good teacher, she doesnt grade textbook hw. you get extra points for doing the online hw (which is very easy) and extra points for going to lab. she also gives 10 points to your test if you do the corrections. i recommend her if your willing to work and pay attention like your supposed to

She is a very good teacher and did whatever she could to ensure students were successful. She was MORE than fair on her grading on tests and spoke very clearly in class. This was taught from the perspective of getting you through the class so you can pass, not so much as to interpreting and understanding the information. very helpful teacher.

Don't skip classes and do the assignments on time. I invested on average 3-5 hours a week on this class. You need to be consistent in your study habits. This class gets progressively harder so you need to keep up. She doesn't bother you with concepts, but you will learn a lot from solving problems.

Agrawal is awesome! She is so nice and will work with you to get your grade to an A! She reopens all the Homework assignments on Connect Math for you as long as you attend class and show that you are trying, and her grades are based on completion of the homework or quizzes, not the actual grade you earn on the assignments.

This class is not easy, it requires you to put in some studying outside of class. If you fail is because of you not because of Agrawal's accent. She is one of the top 3 professors I've had at sac. Always available to help you and walk you trough any problem. Her class is planned for the semester(extra point for organization) attendance mandatory.

I originally didn't register for this teacher but was changed without my consent.I adapted to her and I loved it. I will be looking for her for my future math classes. She puts it plain and simple so just keep up in every class and don't put off homework and studying because she gives you everything you need and makes it very easy to follow.

I love this class!! I am an avid note taker and pay close attention while she is lecturing, her lectures are very concise, she starts the section right away with examples and explains them and then assigns hw that you can do in the classroom. some tips, SIT IN THE FRONT, DON'T PROCRASTINATE THE HW, DO THE REVIEW, AND PARTICIPATE she loves that!

She is a good teacher and moves at a good pace. She gives you extra points on your tests if you do the review and points depend on how you score. There is homework after every assignment and quizzes often as well, but you can do all these with text material. She does everything on a program called webassign and that's where you will get the text.

Prof Veena, she was really helpful and easy to get high grade on this class. However, her accent was probably difficult to understand. She gave some Review test for student to get extra credits. the higher grade on Review, the more extra credit you earn on Final test. Just note the formula, do quizzes and homeworks, Reviews Ipassed with A Grade.

Dr. Agrawal is a wonderful professor that truly cares for her students and is enthusiastic about what she teaches. There are plenty of extra credit opportunities and a week to complete homework, so it's impossible to fail this class, unless you don't do the work. Study hard and take advantage of all the extra credit and it's an easy A.

(8 week flex) Failed college algebra twice in uni, took a step back and took the class with this Agrawal, and passed with a B! Professor agrawal is solid when it comes to teaching, and makes sure all her students understand her content.
